I had a great experience here. The service was friendly and very knowledgeable on servicing my vehicle. They showed me the issues going on with my vehicle, explained it in a way I could understand, and provided me with their recommendations. Because of their explanations and friendliness I will be coming back to this location.
If I could give a 0 star I would. I did not get my problem resolved. I dropped my car off on Friday to get a tire replacement and they wanted to keep my car until Wednesday (almost a week). My tire that was supposed to be shipped out was lost one day and then the next tire delayed. My husband found and bought a new tire and Victor told us they refuse to mount it claiming it’s not new when it still had the sticker and package still on it. Thank God for Ramona Tire and Service who helped us same day and finished in less than 10minutes. Will be speaking with manager and corporate about the lack of professionalism, assistance and for the inconvenience that no one felt the need to apologize in behalf of their own companies mistakes. 100% would never recommend👎
Took my 3 year old car in to have new tires put on. Went to pick it up and I was told that the tech had snapped one of the wheel hub studs in half. Only possible cause for that is over-torquing the lug nut (which could lead to other issues as well). Been driving around on 4 wheel studs for a week waiting for the new stud that they ordered and now have to take the car in on my Saturday morning again to have them fix it. When I called the Friday before I took the car in for the repair the guy that answered (different than the guy that was there when the tires were changed) was totally clueless of the event and was not even sure if the part had been received. Never received a call from them to confirm receipt of the part during the week. This is what you get when speed of service, to make more money, is more important than the quality of that service. Unacceptable!
Brought our car in for oil change and brake job. Was told the brakes were shot,-calipers seized, rotors need turned (standard), pads, etc for a total of $1500. Car is only 4 years old, so we took it to the dealership to see if it was covered under warranty. The dealership said there was nothing wrong with the calipers and completed the brake job for under $250. Wont be back here for anything.

I got $30 off coupon on my mailbox for an oil change so I decided to give a try to this shop. The price after applying the $30 discount was $64 which I think is a bit pricey for an oil change (honda civic). They did the job but what I did NOT like was the customer service I got from the guy behind the counter, maybe because was just an oil change, I believe the grade of service youll get depends of the amount of money youre spending. At the time of paying for their service I politely handed my card to the guy taking my payment and he handed it back THROWING my card on the counter which I feel was very unprofessional and rude, and thats the reason I did not come back for new set of tires also because I got a better deal across the street (american tire depot).
Unfortunately have to agree with bad reviewers. Had the worse experience ever. Dropped the car off with promises of good service only to be called 15 min before closing that they cant help, all because instead of preliminary inspection and confirmation that my car can be serviced, I was being asked about top speed of my car etc...Now I got stranded at 6pm when everything closed. Good thing I got AAA. Please dont ask me to go to your website and provide details, this shop just sucks nothing else to add.
This was my first time going here so I wasn’t to sure what to expect especially from car shops but as soon as I pulled up, I was greeted outside my car by the manager Steve. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told me what my options were and he also informed me that they offer financing. I was given a price and was set on my way. Nearly 25 minutes later I was given a phone call from Steve informing me that my car was all done and ready for me to pick it up. I’m very impressed how fast they were able to do an alignment on my SUV. They charged me exactly what they had quoted me, not a penny more. I’m very satisfied with the work they had performed on my vehicle and the kindness of the staff. I will definitely be coming back here!!
I made a 3pm appt for oil change, arrived and waited about ten minutes for the front desk to check me in. I had noticed one mechanic talking to another outside while they were smoking so neither had a mask on. I then sat to wait then went to check on my car and noticed not one of the mechanics wore mask. I called another place to get in for oil change but when I walked back my car was already raised up. It took another ten minutes or longer to get checked out. I then went to my car sprayed it hand sanitizer and drove home with my mask on and all windows opened. I then got home and had to spray Lysol and then wipe the entire car down with disinfectant wipes.
Ive been coming here for the past 5 years. The service is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for any brake or tire needs.

Got to work this morning with a nail in my cars tire. Did a quick google search for tire shops around the area and found two. The first shop I called a couple of times, but did not get an answer. The second was Big O Tires and got a response right away with an over the phone quote. When I took the car in to their facility I was impressed with the quality of customer service this shop has, and with the cleanliness of their facility. I was able to drop off my car and go back to work and picked it up ready and fixed by lunch time. Definitely going to be back for any future tire needs.
Another sub par experience with staff again trying to RIP me off.I had to contact a district manager who very quickly fixed what the arrogant employees couldnt.
I’m 18 years old and had a flat tire. They recognized that I had no idea what I was doing and really helped me out. Also, they fixed the tire quick and for free.

Found a screw in my tire on Friday afternoon before a long drive. After being turned away from another tire shop across the street, I walked in here. They were busy as well, but Steve said they could get it fixed. I was back on the road in a very reasonable amount of time and really appreciate the help.
Would easily be five stars except its a little on the more expensive side.I came in with a coupon for a synthetic oil change at 65,000 miles. Was greeted by Matt, who has excellent customer service skills. He confirmed with me that Id already completed my 60,000 service (which I had but I appreciated the reminder). I requested that my air filters be checked and he said they would do that. He was extremely polite and pleasant. My car was turned around in a very reasonable time for a Saturday. When I went to pay, the person who checked me out (didnt catch his name) was also very polite and nice. I inquired about whether my coupon had been applied, since the price was higher than I was expecting. I explained that my oil change usually comes out to $70 without a coupon at the place I usually go, and this price was $75 even with my $20 coupon. He gave me an additional discount so I would leave happy. I really appreciated that.They also told me my air filters were fine and didnt try to sell me anything I dont need -- always plus points for that.Service-wise, Id recommend this place in a heartbeat. My only hesitation would be the price, as I usually get the oil change for $70 without a coupon, and this place required a coupon and an additional discount to get me to the same price. Regardless, the service was so good, I would still go here again if I had a coupon.
Steve was very professional and friendly, very easy to work with. I told him that I didnt want to spend a lot of money on my tires, I have 63,000 miles on my 2004 truck. I only replaced my tires due to a long road trip I was going on and the old tires have been on my truck for 10 years. The tires had plenty of tread but at 10 years old the sidewalls were starting to crack. No need for a blow out on my trip. Thanks again Steve, you will see me and my other 2 cars when needed.

I would give this 0 stars if I could.I brought my vehicle, which is a dually (4 rear tires), in to have the oil changed, tires rotated and the alignment done before moving to another state and I was on a very tight schedule, which I had made known.After picking it up and going home, I noticed that the tires had NOT been rotated.I called in and discussed with Adam - Manager (who looks like he is dipping/ chewing tobacco every time Ive seen him over the years) about dropping it off again in the morning.I dropped it off at 7am and was told there would be no issue with getting it back by 11am.I called in at 10am to see where things were at and was told by Adam that they hadnt looked at it yet, but would be shortly. I again expressed my frustration and reiterated that I was on a tight schedule and they had already thrown a kink in it. Adam said he would call me back in a couple minutes with an ETA. I never got that call, so I called again at 1030 and spoke to Adam again, who said it would be done by 11am. I then walked approx. a mile and a half in the rain to get there, only to notice they had only swapped out the outer tires! I then went in to the office to grab my key and just move on, I didnt have time for more lies and half-a**ed work. I ended up arguing with Adam a bit over what rotating tires on a dually means/ is.He then follows me to my vehicle and is telling me along the way that he knows it was done properly and he had seen it without any of the tires on the rack. When I SHOW him why I believe that hadnt been done it properly, he AGREES.His resolution at the beginning was to express that he would be talking to his guys to make sure it doesnt happen again. I told him again that I didnt have time to deal with this or for them to correct the mistake and that I was already behind schedule. After a couple of minutes of talking in circles, he offered to pay a company at where I was relocating to to rotate them (Adam - which should only be like $35). Thats it. No offer to refund me a portion of or all my money.This isnt the first time Ive had a bad experience here.
Hopefully this Big O location can right their listing ship here. Im writing on behalf of my Mom who had her first negative experience here. Both she and I have been going to this location for our car maintenance needs for years. The service is great and the prices are always fair. However, my Mom was treated poorly on her most recent visit. She called this location ahead of time to set an appointment for a timing belt replacement. She wakes up early on the day of her appointment and gets to the location on time. Instead of dropping off her keys and walking over to Starbucks to wait, shes told that she never had an appointment and that they would have to wait until much later in the morning so they could call the nearby shops for the belt. It should be mentioned here that the person that told my Mom this was the one she called earlier in the week to set the appointment. I wont name names because I like this location and the mechanics that run it, but it does merit mention that the mechanic that spoke to my Mom was very apathetic to the fact that my Mom would have to wait an additional three hours.Ive never run a business myself, but I did customer service gigs during high school. Based on that minute dash of experience, I can think of several things that wouldve resolved this issue. 1. Offer a discount. 2. Offer to re-schedule. My Moms an understanding person, she would be open to waiting another week if necessary. 3. Offer a ride home. Tons of mechanics do this with minimal to zero prompting. Instead of any of these common sense derived resolutions, shoulders are shrugged and arms are raised in the most classic form of apathy. Big O Tires, specifically the Lake Forest location, you are better than this. Dont go this way. This is why I am giving you three stars instead of one. Make this right with the next customer that you fall short for. You guys have generous and talented mechanics. Dont become another one of those auto shops.
Love these guys. I have been going to them for all my mechanical needs since about 2004. They are very well trusted and very good at everything they do, I wouldnt trust anyone other than them with any of my vehicles. Adam and Matt are always there to help to get things done.
The guy I dealt with in the morning I believe his name was Kendal was great and very helpful, he went out of his way to locate my tires as they were backordered or discontinued and I needed them right away. The guy who was working the desk in the afternoon was a little gruff, my invoice says his name is Steve and he was not overly accommodating. I asked him a couple of questions and his response was I dont know. Not Ill check into that and let you know but simply I dont know. Since he works for a tire center I figured he would know the answers to my questions about tires and/or if he didnt know then I would have thought he would be willing to figure it out and let the me know. I didnt like dealing with him at all.
Service was professional and efficient. Great deal given by Ken Schneider. I would definitely recommend this store for their exceptional service.

Just awful!, went in thinking they could fix my tire and was told it was to old and were going to change me 165 for a new one. Am so glad I went across the street to America tire depot. They fixed it quickly and only changed me not much. I will NEVER GO BACK TO big o tires. Youd be smart to do the same.
This place used to be great, but went in first thing in the morning to check for a tire leak, it took over an hour for them to begin, then another hour to NOT find anything. To top it all off, they gave me a quote for new tires and install for nearly $800 (including one free tire). If you like to waste your time, please stop by anytime! I should also mention that we took it down the street to another tire shop which found the leak in 15 min.Below youll see a response from the owner saying they have great service that is prompt, yet it took them 3 months to even see this review. Then they asked for an invoice number which means they didnt even read my review because I didnt buy anything (besides wasted time)
Nothing to like unless you like being lied to.Casey didnt realize that the entire cooling system was recently rebuilt and working fine when he advised a water pump and timing belt. The pump is new. That is just one of many lies.I had been a customer of Big O in various locations for 50 years!
Stopped in on my way to work to drop off a slow leak, they told me they couldn’t work on tires older than 6 years, which I suppose is understandable. Because of that, they told me they could sell me a new matching pair, quoted me a price, and told me it would be about 30 minutes. After 45 minutes with my car on the lift and wheels removed, they told me they didn’t actually have those tires in, but I was welcome to purchase a more expensive pair. They said my options at that point were to have them put my spare back on and send me on my way to start the process all over again at another tire shop or pay them more money. They refused to make any concessions as a result of their mistake. Had they quoted me correctly to begin with, I would have never agreed. After 1.5 hours of waiting, my slow leaked turned into a problem that cost hundreds of dollars and a wasted morning.

I bought 4 tires here a few years a go and had some problems with the tires wearing oddly. When I returned, Kc the manager was very helpful and replaced all four for me with actually no aggravation.I made the mistake of going to another Big O franchise before returning to Kc in Lake Forest. Yes there is a big difference in customer service from place to place, thats all I can say. Thanks again KC keep up the good work.
I had a flat tire when I went to go to work. I got AAA to come put the spare on. Came here to Big O to see if it could be fixed. The guy said they were a little backed up so I told him I would just leave it with them and come back when I got off work to pick it up. He unloaded my tire/rim out of the back of my SUV and set it leaned up against the side of the building and told me he would call me after they looked at it. I called to check in about 4pm and Adam said that they were looking at my tire right then and he would call me as soon as they knew if they could fix it. Well....I got off work at 5pm, drove to Big O to see what was up. There was no one in the office AND MY TIRE/RIM WERE STILL SITTING OUTSIDE AGAINST THE CORNER OF THE BUILDING!!! Thankfully it was at least still there and someone hadnt stolen my rim! I couldnt believe it. I have worked in the customer service for 20+ years and NEVER have had something like this happen. I loaded up my tire and left. THEY STILL HAVENT CALLED!!! They probably didnt even notice my tire was gone!!! I drove across the street to AMERICAN TIRE DEPOT. They were busy as all get out and the counter person helping me stopped what he was doing and went with me into the garage and personally took the time to help me see if my tire was repairable. Amazing service over there even when they are busy and heck. Easy to see why they have so much business. I wasnt the only one that left Big O and gave American Tire Depot their business. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT BIG O...Drive a few extra hundred feet and go where you will be taken care of and your rims wont be sitting out on the corner of Lake Forest Dr. for anyone to walk off with!

They may be good in mechanical problems but, HORRIBLE when it comes to buying tires from them. Purchased 4 brand new tires, a WHEEL ALIGNMENT, and was told (lied) that any problems with it for 45,000 miles they guaranteed they would replace it. Lo and behold, one tire was worn to the chord, taken in and was now told that the car tires HAD TO HAVE been rotated BY THEM, every 5000 miles. No other shop allowed to rotate, ONLY THEM. What a crock. 2 friends were with me when I purchased these tires and the alignment and they heard this guarantee but never heard this employer say the tires had to have been rotated BY THEM ONLY. DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM THEM.

Took an hour with an appointment for an oil change. Tacked on an extra 4 bucks for disposal. If I have a coupon, I expect to pay what the coupon states.
