My favorite boot barn. Unfortunately its over an hour away from my home but when I cant find what Im looking for, this place ALWAYS HAS IT.They have all the sizes, all the styles (new and old), and the staff is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS helpful and friendly.

I went in today, August 2 2021 mid afternoon to do some some looking around. I’ve never been to this Lake Forest location. I was wearing a backpack because I was on a long bike ride. After selecting some merchandise and still looking, never having removed my backpack or gone into the changing room, a male store employee asked if he could take my choices, and backpack up to the front before I entered the changing room. I gave him my backpack and one item, and tried the rest on in the changing room.After I was finished, I went up to the register to purchase all of the items I had selected, 150.00 dollars worth. The little man was nowhere to be seen, and a female employee rang me up. After I purchased the items I asked for my backpack, which was on the floor behind the counter. When the woman gave it to me, I noticed it had been zipped wide open and rummaged through.That little worm male employee had opened and searched it without my permission. He violated my rights to satisfy his suspicions, and I left without making a fuss but it has bothered me all day. I will never again make a purchase from this Lake Forest location, and that pathetic little man gets a huge F for customer service.

Everytime I walk into this location, I am never greeted or asked if I need anything or have questions. I am Hispanic . I have lived in this area for the past 20 years. Never have I experienced this customer service except for here. Nor do I like to use the discrimination card ever because I have white friends and I think they are great. But here at this location I feel it. The 2 ladies that were at the front desk didn’t even acknowledge me and they knew I was there. Other customers walked in and were greeted and yes they were white . So I past them as they greeted someone else who approached them and the you get gal turned around as I came by and I was loud enough to say hi to here she did reply and just in a low tone say hi.. unbelievable!! You all Act privileged and talk to people in a demeanor way. You suck

Excellent! Everyone was helpful and made sure I tried all the options. No Rush, No Pressure. Bought Boot Barn branded Soft Toe work boots. I have feet issues and tried on 15 different boots over and over. All staff was great, no complaints about trying so many boots,(They have to disinfect all try-ons before returning to the rack) so I was a pain in the butt. They wanted to make sure I was happy. Very nice and large store layout. Its bigger than the Orange location that I normally go to. Employees were very nice and helpful and they held an item for me for about 2 hours while I drove there to pick up an item.

This is a great Boot Barn. Its a large space with a tremendous inventory. They have a huge selection of dress boots, work boots and mens and womens clothing. The wife loves the womens clothing section, so many styles to choose from and still reasonably priced. Sales associates are very helpful and offer quite a bit of knowledge of the products sold. The store has tons of parking and shares a parking lot with Turners outdoors.. one stop shop for everything country!

I am very particular when I go in looking for boots, and they are always very patient and do their best to help you find just what you are looking for. Huge selection of boots and clothes for women, men, and kids. Got myself a new pair of booties today as they didnt have my size in the boots I liked, but Taylor checked online and let me know that another store had a pair, that he could order them for me and have them shipped or I could order them at home. Will absolutely be back!

4 stars, not 5 based on the amount of imported products from China. I strongly feel that if we are supporting an American theme and in this case The West we can at least support the great state of Texas, buy American, support American.

Cindy sold me my amazing pair of birthday boots and made my trip easier and much more fun!!!Ive lived in This area for 29 years and have seen it change so much! The store has been completely remodeled and has way more room to move in. Alot more variety of clothes, super cute too. I only wish they would carry a larger size boot for my husband who wears a size 15.

Ive never been in Boot Barn before. But, Ive read a lot good reviews about Wrangler jeans and wanted to go somewhere other than Target and Walmart (they both carry Wrangler, but not deep selections). Anyway, I looked at the BB website and found what I wanted, then called the nearest store. A nice lady pulled the 2 exact models I wanted, in the correct size. When I came in, they were ready to try on. The in-store selection of Wrangler is great, including size options. Boot Barn also has a very good work wear area (Carhartt, Wolverine, etc.), which is good to know since I do a fair amount of welding and metal work. Anyway, great store, great service, and not just for cowboys and cowgirls. I appreciate stores that have a highly specific product focus, and this store/chain seems to do that.

Everything we saw was made in China and I mean everything. They have a lot if good looking stuff but I dont want to buy from China.

So Adam, you feel like the store should be open just for you after business hours? Youre right, nobody in retail, after dealing with selfish clowns like yourself all day, want to go home after working on their weekend. And you feel like if you show up with a random pair of boots, with no proof of purchase, that they should honor a return policy that probably clearly states that you should bring your receipt in order to return them. I understand your disappointment, the world obviously revolves around you, and people should remember that fact when you come around.

In this day and age, especially in California, you dont expect people to still be prejudiced. Yet, while shopping in Boot Barn in Lake Forest a friend was harassed simply because of his looks. Their service was shameful and will be reported to anyone who will listen including their corporate office.

Prejudiced. Looked at all their styles available and kept being harassed and questioned if we were working for a boot company while viewing their selection of men/women boots. I am not a boot enthusiast and neither is my friend but we are going to a western styled wedding so we were looking at all boot styles to find something interesting. Absolutely terrible customer service even had the older blonde lady stand in front of us to ask us what we were doing and when we replied checking all their styles she replied Well Ill be right here next to you for all of that. not implying she was there to take care of us.

I am so very disappointed in Sheplers and Boot Barn. If I could leave negative stars I would. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and have always enjoyed shopping in their retail stores. Last month I placed my first online order, and today nearly three weeks later, my boots have still not arrived. I alerted both Boot Barn and UPS the day my boots were to arrive, but did not, June 4th. Today its the 20th of June and I cannot get anyone at Boot Barn to help me. They will not refund my money nor will they ship a new pair of boots. They stated their policy is to wait for UPS to conduct their internal investigation. The problem is, nobody at Boot Barn is actively managing the situation with UPS, its all on me. I have never had a worse experience with an online retailer. I do not nor should I care about Sheplers relationship with UPS. The boots were lost or stolen, make a decision and provide some decent customer service. At the very least, refund my money immediately. I should not be expected to wait until UPS has finished their investigation. This is disappointing and upsetting, as I needed these boots when I ordered them, and paid for expedited shipping as well. Multiple emails to Boot Barn, multiple emails and calls to UPS, and still no resolution. Customer service works like this - keep your loyal customers happy and they stay with you. If you do not, you lose them forever. So sad that customer service does not exist at Boot Barn/Sheplers. This is a far cry from the company of old. A very loyal customer has now been lost forever. Just refund my money and I will quietly move on to a retailer who is customer focused, and cares about my business.

I have never been so disappointed and frustrated with a specific store that I felt the need to write a negative review but this Boot Barn in Lake Forest has the worst retail service Ive ever seen. Management(an older man and a younger blonde woman) both times has been extremely irritable, condescending, unfriendly, and ultimately unhelpful. Once, I got to the store at 5:03 pm on a Sunday because I got off work a little early and rushed over to exchange a pair of unworn boots for an identical pair with a larger size, and the woman came over as I was coming in and told me she had already started closing and it was against her policy to let me in. Mind you they were not closed already, she basically kicked me out of the store because she wanted to leave at exactly 5 and was extremely unfriendly and rude about it. The other time I had an encounter with them was when I tried to exchange my brothers boots, unworn, for a larger size and was told that without a receipt or tags they wouldnt do it. He then proceeded to huff and puff about all the data he had to ask me about so he could look me up, like my telephone number... Ultimately I swapped them at different Boot Barn but will avoid this one at all costs and urge all others to do the same.
