Had my 2006 LR3 checked by West Coast Rovers due to intermittent starting issue. They looked into it and when I got it back the vehicle starts consistently. The team of this shop are honest with fair pricing and went right at the issue. They also followed-up with me on a separate concern and send 2 of their guys at home and spot-fixed the issue and test drove the vehicle. They came back and gave me my key and vehicle back. This guys will be my go-to team with anything Rover. Thumbs-up!

My 2007 LR3 was in smog prison for several months. My normal mechanic (not a Rover specialist) suggest I go to a Rover specialist. This shop is near my house and after speaking with Andrew and Jeff I got a good feeling. To make a long story short, they did a great job communication with me the entire way, setting proper expectations. Fixed the smog issue for a fair price and even got it smogged for me. There are other local Rover specialists who will rip you off (I wont mention any names...(ERW)) but not these guys. Highly recommended.

This is a diamond in the rough I have my share of unprofessional and highly dishonest landrover shops in South OC Missiin Viejo, and North OC . There is nothing more frustrating than a dishonest landrover shop. As a owner of a few Landrovers we know getting inti these are high maintenance. When I bought a used RRS, I knew keeping the vehicle depended on having a skilled and trustworthy shop to go to for repairs and maintenance. West Coast checked the vehicle out with a fine tooth comb and gave me honest feedback. I kept the car, knowing I had ace mechanics when any issues came up. I drive an hour one way to have them perform maintenance, it is worth it. This business is friendly, priced accordingly and experts about all things Land Rover. I cant say enough good things. Its very difficult to find service like this anymore, and they are top notch.Two months later, West Coast Rover did my control arms and brought my AC back to life on my 2010 RRS. This is the second visit, a few weeks before was new brakes and rotors and I left happily stunned at the level that this shop operates at.... Not only was the price OUTSTANDING, my car was done in a day and a half! For those of you with Land Rovers, you know that is not normal or expected, so I was extremely surprised. The lovely Chrissy even drove me to get my rental and brought the rental back for me when I picked up the car. Jeff has been honest, very informative about my vehicle and TRANSPARENT about repairs and costs. Having West Coast as my mechanic will keep me in Range Rovers for good. Many Thanks WCR!

I recently had my Range Rover repaired at West Coast Rovers. It was towed in at 8 a.m., serviced and ready for pick up by 2 the same afternoon. No need to rent a car for the week as I used to have to do when taking it for service at the dealership. This business is honest and professional and very clean. They even wash your car before sending it home. Thank you Jeff and Chrissy and all the team.
The man you want to speak with is Andrew. Honest, straight forward, good sense of humor, fast, efficient, no nonsense, a few adjectives to describe the service under his leadership. The crew are pretty knowledgeable, honest and quick with their work. Andrew helped me save over $4k of repairs for something he could have simply charged me and I would have never known otherwise. Very very honest! All my Land Rovers go to him for any work. Enough said, give him a holla.
I was a bit reluctant to take my car to a new place at first, but Im so happy I did. Jeff and Andrew were so nice and explained everything to me. I could tell they really care about the cars. This place is hands down the best Land/Range Rover place in all of So Cal. Andrew is always professional and on top of his game. I dont have a Range Rover, but if I did, or if I knew anyone who did, I would send them to West Coast Rovers for service. I was stranded in a parking lot with an overheated car, after business hours, no where near home. Jeff happened to answer the phone - he drove to where I was and put coolant in my engine so my car could go a little ways. Then he guided me to the nearest repair shop. He wouldnt take any money. I dont know if he wants me to advertise that he did this, lol! I would recommend this giant-hearted person to anyone to do business with because a person like this is trustworthy and of excellent character - qualities to look for in a mechanic business!

Both Andrew and Eddie came through for me in a pinch - I needed a thorough, honest and reliable inspection. They moved things around to get me in quickly and then took the time to thoroughly inspect and note everything for us to discuss. I had a personal walk-around to discuss the issues and concerns of the vehicle along with a ride-along to make sure they understood the issues presented in the test drive. Honestly, they probably saved me thousands of dollars and I will be working with them to find the hidden gem that I am looking for. When you have a bad service you shout and scream, when you have a good service you are happy, but when you have EXCELLENT service, the customer is delighted and will spread the word.! This is why I have been a long time customer because Eddie and Andrew, they take care of their customer. I had an emergency service and needed the Range Rover in 3 hours, to leave out of town, due to air suspension fault. Not only did they procured the parts and service the Range, they accomplished this for me in 3 hours as promised. This was accomplished with a full garage of vehicles to be serviced. I drive my cars from San Diego to Eddies shop because I know I will always get superb service at a fair price. We have three Land Rovers (95 Defender, 97 and 98 Disco) in the family. They run just as well as when we bought them new! Eddie and his team services them all and I would never trust anyone else! When my daughter needed a car, Eddie was my first call. We purchased a 2013 Subaru from him and it is perfect! Shes had it for 18 months now and absolutely loves it! There is no other choice for us! West Coast Rovers all the way!

I dont know what the bad reviews are about. Weve been taking our 2002 Land Rover here for nine years. We have never had to take our car back because of a sloppy job and he is cheaper than Land Rover dealerships and a nearby Land Rover service center. Here is my most recent experience:I recently bought a used Volvo and wanted a Volvo mechanic to repair it, so I took it to one. This mechanic went on and on about what was wrong with my car, so much so, that I didnt believe him anymore. Eddie was just around the corner, and because I trust him, asked him if he would verify what the Volvo mechanic told me. He agreed and unfortunately concurred with the Volvo mechanic.However, Eddie, who I cant sing his praises enough, is an out of the box thinker. He found a way to repair my car without replacing an extremely expensive part. He spent 8 hours on my car. The Volvo repairman was going to charge me close to $3000 and Eddie charged me $1000. Eddie fixed other things on my car for free.EDDIE WILL WORK ON OTHER CARS BESIDES LAND ROVERS. He has earned our business.

I have been going to West Coast Rovers since 2004 and I highly recommend Eddie and his team. I used to take my 1996 Range Rover there until I totaled it so I bought a car from him, a 2002 Disco with a rebuilt engine. It has served me well over the past 3 years and I was just in today to get my brakes done. As a single female, it is important to have a mechanic I can trust. I always feel that Eddie does the best job and gives me the best price he can. He also points out which parts are priority to fix for safety reasons. I would never take my car to the Land Rover dealership or any other mechanic. 10 years and 5 stars from me!

Honest, Quality & Friendly people! I took my 2013 Range Rover with 13,700 miles on it to the dealer, RRMV, to get serviced today and as I waited for my vehicle they called to tell me that I needed my front and back brakes changed and that they were very low and this is very typical for a vehicle over 13,000 miles and that it would cost me $803 to replace the pads. I couldnt believe it. 13,700 miles and my brakes need to be replaced. I decided to hold off on the repair and take it to West Coast Rovers and thank God I did! Eddie told me to come look at my break pads and showed me that I had 50% of my brakes left on each wheel! He showed me a new brake pad so that I can see that my brakes did not need to be replaced...not even close! I couldnt believe it! I had the dealer telling me that they needed to be replaced as soon as possible and that it could affect my rotors, that would more than likely also need to be replaced. They put my wheels back on and said I was good to go. They didnt even charge me. I cannot say enough about the honesty and integrity of this place. Eddie was so great to go the extra mile and actually show me my break pads compared to new ones so that I knew I was not in need of this service RRMV said I needed. I am so disappointed in the dealer, its just not right. Thank goodness for people like Eddie and everyone at his shop! I will only be taking my vehicle here from now on and will be sure to spread the word.

Buying a pre-owned vehicle is always a bit stressful, but Eddie at WCR was a total rockstar. He made this the least stressful pre-owned vehicle purchase I have ever made. I would highly and without reservation recommend this dealer to anyone.
I own a 2004 Discovery with 75k miles. I bought it new with a 7 year extended warranty and serviced by the dealership during the warranty period. After the warranty expired I started looking for a reliable mechanic outside the dealership realm. I started asking other Land Rover owners and the consensus was unanimous, “Take it to West Coast Rovers, and ask for Eddie”.My buddy also bought a 2004 Discovery with an OME Lift, ARB color matched Bumper/Warn Winch and Snorkel from the same dealership, and the add-ons were installed flawlessly. Upon further inquiry he found out the add-ons were installed by Eddie at West Coast Rovers.Approx. 30 days ago I had a catastrophic engine failure with a huge puddle of oil on the ground. My buddy took me to West Coast Rovers without my car so I could talk with Eddie to get a “feel” for his shop. I found that Eddie took the time to show us around his shop and answer all my questions in detail. I was impressed and decided to have my Disco towed in that same day.My buddy was also impressed that Eddie had discovered a permanent fix for the three amigos (you do know what that is don’t you?) that he left his Disco that same day so Eddie could forever rid his Disco of its annoying effects. West Coast Rovers has made arrangements with a major car rental agency for a discounted rental rate for those who need it and we needed one. The car rental picked us up within minutes and gave us a Camry at a very good price.My oil pump as it turned out literally exploded into pieces and in the process broke through and destroyed the engine’s front cover. Eddie told me that he had never seen an oil pump come apart like this before. After removing the cover pieces, he found the lower timing chain gear on the crank shaft had also been damaged and had “welded” itself to the crank. Instead of just replacing the crankshaft (read very expensive) he had his team take extra time to “massage” the gear off. Miraculously they were able to remove the broken gear without leaving a scratch on the crankshaft or keyway.Eddie immediately contacted me with revised service quotes, updates on part order timelines and overall progress. He was available to me every time I called and answered all my questions.The final bill was far less than what a dealership would have charged, and I am confident that the work was completed with skill and integrity. I have made Eddie my permanent “Go To Guy” and I would highly recommend West Coast Rovers if you live anywhere within a hundred mile radius of his shop.
