Michael and his manager were great during the whole process. Michael never stopped trying to find me the perfect vehicle, even let me go by after work close to their closing time to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted. and he so happened to find the perfect one when the one I originally inquired had sold. The vehicle he helped find was actually a lot better. And had all the features I wanted plus the excellent gas mileage! He never pressured me into buying something like I know most salespeople have done at previous dealerships I have visited. At first I was hesitant to pursue a vehicle at Kia in lake Charles due to the negative reviews. But between Michael and his team and the smooth car buying process I definitely had a positive experience.I would recommend giving Michael and his team a chance. I cannot speak for the negative reviews or their experiences. But I know mine was a positive one. And I will continue going there to get another Kia in the future.
I purchased a brand new vehicle in January from this Kia. Took in for an oil change a couple weeks ago and motor has been having this ticking sound coming from it ever since. Bought it to Kia where I purchased it and is still under warranty obviously, all I get is attitude and youll have to pay 115 service charge if the warranty doesnt cover it. They took my vehicle next door to Mitsubishi for about 30 minutes, came back then said its making that noise because of a fuel injector and it was normal, which is b.s. Im not a mechanic but I know a ticking sound all of a sudden coming from the engine is not normal. Its sad how I have to drive to another city to get some real service and cant go to the place where I purchased a brand new vehicle to get a straight answer! Beaumont, Texas here I come!!! Please some of your employees need to go to a customer service class to learn how to treat people.Update: I took my car to the Kia in Lafayette. The service department says that its definitely not the fuel injector and that they have to put some type of scope inside my motor to see whats going on, smh sad sad case Kia of Lake Charles, I definitely will be filling a complaint!! Also, Lafayette workers were so friendly and helpful and didnt mention a service fee not one time while I was there, they also put me in a rental until my vehicle is fixed!!
Kia of Lake Charles is 20 minutes from our home but I had to drive an hour away to a competing dealership (Classic KIA of Beaumont) for service.I was unsuccessful scheduling maintenance through the KIA Uvo app last month. I asked an acquaintance who worked at this dealership what the deal was and they said it was easier to just call and schedule since the online/app booking system rarely works. Okay, cool. We called Monday and were told to book online since it was easier that way. (It is, if the system actually worked). We explained the situation but needed the VIN. We called them back and were placed on hold for more than 10 minutes. We tried a second time and were immediately placed on hold and then hung up on.Do yourself a favor and make the drive to SETX or SELA where theyll actually value your business, even if its just a service appointment.

Went there to look for a vehicle, went to look at the one I wanted. Had extensive damage to the front and rear of the vehicle. I would have chosen a different one however only one in the color I wanted. I go back in and tell the salesman, HE ALREADY KNOWS! Says oh yeah that’s the one from the hurricane. WHAT! Then I’m told they won’t fix it but they will offer a discount, but he doesn’t know how much? How can you offer something, you have no clue how much. They are selling this car as brand new for 27,000 plus, not fixing the damage, and not telling you what they will discount it for. I guarantee insurance already totaled that vehicle out. With the damages on the vehicle, you CANNOT call it brand new. I walked out of there. I will spend my money on an actual new car, with no damage
The person that was supposed to be helping us told us we could go look at the vehicles and sent us outside with no idea who h ones were used and which ones were already sold. We had to look through the windows of the vehicles to see inside. My husband was so aggravated we left.

Absolutely awful customer service. If you are a military family DO NOT go to this dealership. I have never felt so disrespected as a military wife and the general disrespect of my husband as well was appalling. Extremely shady in not wanting to show all numbers of the deal even after asking for a breakdown of numbers multiple times. Very deceitful on pricing and will argue with you even though you have a picture of the listing price on the actual vehicle. Was ready to buy immediately and walked right off the lot. Please don’t entertain the lies they tell you. Not willing to work with you, not willing to help. They get you to come in to fill out the app just to throw away your info after you leave. These are shady people who work here, do not give them your time, effort or money. There are plenty of other car lots in the area to purchase from. Go somewhere else.
Have a recall taken care of and it didnt take as long as they said it would
Had an appointment for 10AM. We were told he’d “hold the spot” for us. Around 11:15AM we’re finally spoken to. We wanted to do a trade in, and made it clear ONLY if the price on the new car was discounted well from the damage and dings the storm had done to it. I knew it wouldn’t be what we were hoping for but...1:30PMThree and a half hours later we finally put our foot down and asked what they were trying to actually sell us the car for and what they were giving us on the trade-in. I, incorrectly, assumed that the LONG SILENCE and waiting period for our “appointment” meant something good was happening.We left with a wasted three and a half hours, some nice credit dings, and a whole lot of disappointment. Our entire conversation time with the dealer was maybe 20 minutes total.Bottom line: you don’t need to run anyone’s credit to tell me the price of a car. I could have been on my way immediately.

What caught my eye recently was Kia’s 4 day event special running from April 28-May 1. The event advertised 0 down payment, and no payments until August 2021. I make an appointment, I show up 15 min early only to drive back and forth from Kia to the Mitsubishi place twice! The man who was “taking care of me” informed me that this event was only for SELECT VEHICLES. Also, there was a phone call the salesperson took in front of me, while “taking care of me”, spoke to the customer on the phone for 15 min while I sat here and waited patiently. Very rude service and false advertisement!! I am very disappointed, a waste of my time and I have NO information on the car I was interested in!!! 😡😡😡
Car was still under warranty and they refused to do the repairs. Rude unprofessional people. Had to take car to Kia dealership in Beaumont. Had zero problems out of Beaumont. Will no longer use Kia of lake Charles
Military families beware stay away, rude, awful customer service, lied about actual vehicle price, refused to show us number, refused to show credit scores, refused to give military discounts even though kia of lake charles offers it. They did not care plain and simple stay away.

Advertising on radio/television media is a fraud simply to get you to come in only to tell you to get certain things off your credit or get a co signer when they were made aware prior of your score and whats possibly on your credit profile to have your credit score dropped considerably. Management both in Used/New Sales show no real true professionalism. Contacted General Manager 4 days later and his attitude is uhhhhhhh its nothing I can do. Its truly sad that this company utilizes false advertising and gimmicks to get you to come in.....

Horrible horrible horrible service, I bought a car the next day it broke! They refused to fix the car because they said I worked on it myself! They went out their way to call part stores pulled up my parts buying history and said I bought parts for my car I had to come out of pocket 140! For a diagnostic fee and they never fixed the car I am in the process of filing a lemon lawsuit against them now THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL

DON’T BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!! The service is dangerously bad. My wife’s new car was flashing warning lights telling her to get service immediately and they wouldn’t even run diagnostics on it to see it if was minor or could be driven they told her. “ you can just drive it to Beaumont and maybe they can run diagnostics”. We bought the car from them!!!! This was not our first issue with them.

Called to schedule oil change and was put on hold for quite a while. I hung up and called again and receptionist said “maybe if you’d wait a minute”. I said I was on hold for 15 minutes just to schedule an oil change and was hung up on at the end of the call. The attitude I got was ridiculous and unnecessary. We all have jobs and if he would of explained to me the circumstances in the first place instead of blowing up on me, I would of been more understanding. Totally unprofessional 😡

I called about a few cars they had online listed at the Mitsubishi lot. I drive 45 minutes one way to be told they are listed but service has them and they are short handed so who know when they will be ready. I left, meantime I speak to the Kia lot salesman’s and also asked about them he stated that he owners daughter was in charge of service and does things her own way and they have no idea nor do they question what she does, sooo left hand has no idea what right hand is doing. This is a bad way to run a business you list vehicles online with a price you call and drive but not ready then you state owners child is in charge and they will be ready lord knows when may be a month. So sick of everyone blaming corona for their lack of business ethnic and lack of control in their business. I was looking toPay cash for a used car now I can only imagine what service would be after the sale, knowing the owners daughter is in charge and no one dares ask questions. I just want to warn others not to waste your time. I won’t buy a used car here and sure the hell won’t buy a new one knowing the lack of communication and lack of professionalism displayed at this place. Pathetic is the only word I can use. Our whole buying experience here is still an on going nightmare ! I took a$300 loss because they wait weeks to pay off your trade in . today their loan dept took out two payments ! One on the 2nd and another today Overdrawing us by 460.00 ! Refuse to replace it with out proof from our bank even tho they see it right on the computer screen . Never will I buy a car here again ! Worse customer service ever !!! Just one excuse after another !
Sales staff not very friendly. Walked around the lot with no one asking if I needed help so I went inside and still no one acknowledged that I was in the store. Finally after about 5 or so minutes I was asked if I needed help. My sales guy really never tried to sell me a car. Didn’t give different options for financing. Really very disappointed in this store. Hopefully they will get better.
I messaged Kia yesterday and asked to go in this morning. I drove off the lot in a vehicle. Staff was so nice and willing to help.

They put you in something that you are eligible to get depending on your credit (whether good, bad or no credit), and how much you make per month. I can only speak about my experience with the salesperson God has connected me with. Her name is Lolette Henderson aka The car chick.She works with a spirit of diligence and excellence. I explained to her how much I had with a trade in as well. She wasnt quick to put me in any car she wanted. She actually tried to put me in a vehicle that I actually wanted but I didnt qualify for different reasons. But because I didnt qualify for what I wanted she didnt give up. She actually offered me other options that would benefit me in the future to help my credit score go up. Through Faith and by the Grace of God. HE has blessed me from a 1996 Toyota Avalon to a 2016 Nissan Altima. Its a beautiful car! At some time or another everyone in this world has experienced difficulty trying to purchase the car theyve wanted. God knows I had to wait some years from walking, to getting rides. From riding the city bus to taxi cars; and from settling to buy old barely held together cars. Sometimes its about the timing and whats going on in your life. Hands up 5 stars,yes indeed this is my second vehicle I have gotten with Kia of Lake Charles. I have an amazing sales lady Patricia Simmons, if you think it can’t get done,just talk to her boom it’s done.I was sitting with another sales person and I had a time limit to get back home for my grandson and all he was doing was talking about everything but the right thing,so I got up went meet Patricia and was on my way home within 35 minutes. That’s what I call a good salesperson honest upfront and very friendly person, Personally I cannot say anything bad about any of the staff because I was always treated with respect.
Absolute trash. Just god awful. The General Manager is rude. Management is key! Take note of that. Sitting in the service department Ive noticed that all the good salesman are ran off by his horrible management skills. I can often overhear him chewing them out over simple things. Screaming and cursing. Just terrible. Not to mention the god awful service department. Me and my friends will never ever buy a car again from this establishment as long as the current management is still in charge.
So I’m in the market for a new vehicle. I’m NOT looking to buy right now, I am taking my time to browse for the right one. When I walked in to Kia, the sales woman approached me and was very kind. She was sociable at first and when I told her that I wasn’t looking to buy right now just browse, it’s like her demeanor completely changed from friendly to downright rude. The whole time after that, her and the other sales people didn’t bother helping me by answering some question because I’m sure they thought it was a “waste of time” being that I wasn’t ready to buy right now. So I asked to test drive one of the vehicles. And you should of seen it. It was like they didn’t want do it. The girl asked someone else to come ride with me and he didn’t want to do it either and asked for someone else to do it. So basically I stood there for 20 min until the girl decided she would ride with me. While inside the vehicle I was test driving, the girl was completely quiet the whole time. It was very awkward. I tried to engage in conversation by asking questions about the features of the car because I wanted to take notes down to compare to other cars later on. She didn’t say much.. and I could tell she didn’t want to be there. As soon as we got back, she got of the car didn’t say anything. And I replied “thank you for the test drive I really liked the vehicle”. She just nodded her head and went back inside. worst experience ever... the sales people won’t bother helping or asking questions if you’re not looking to buy a car that moment. It’s insane.
I have recently purchased my new 2019 Kia Forte from Kia of Lake Charles and it was the best experience I have ever had at any dealership I have ever purchased from. My sales consultant was honest, compassionate and thrilling! They helped me when no one else wanted to even take time to see what I wanted. On top of that, the service center is unbelievable. Before I could even say what I was there for they knew my name and what I was there for already. My car was serviced and back with me in under a half hour. I thought that was the quickest service center I have been through. Hands down I rate Kia of Lake Charles 5 stars and will forever give them my business!

We received it and it has been duly noted. I am guessing the reason the logic of your being wrong about not changing the oil of a Kia not purchased at your privately owned location “escapes” you, because that particular situation had not occurred until today. A suggestion to you and your employees would be to make the customers aware beforehand, especially when you know they are driving a brand new car. Especially since we know most dealerships, not just Kia and Mitsubishi, offer free oil changes on new purchases. I had an appointment for a oil change Due to a wreck on the bridge I was 8 minutes late. They couldnt do my oil change since I was late I was told they schedule appointments every 30 minutes and basically too bad youre late. We cant do it now Funny thing is when I called Monday to get this appointment it was the only one till next week but suddenly an appointment opened up at 11 for tomorrow. The only reason Im even going back is because of a free oil change once those are done not going back there Not even to buy a car. I dont wont to deal with their service department.
I bought my 2020 Kia Sportage in May 2019. I judt had my first service done in December. I have nothing but great things to say about both experiences. Everyone was professional, friendly, and courteous. The service was performed quickly, and all actions were explained fully. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car!!
I made the mistake of letting another company change my oil and they left the plug off which in result destroyed my engine. I had the car towed to Kia to see what could be done. The hospitality and help I received was without a doubt the best customer service. Kade and Luke went above and beyond to answer all my questions and keep me informed. They even helped me with insurance questions. I am truly grateful.
For some reason when you have gap insurance and you cancel that and they are expecting a check you cant just go through the gap insurance place you have to go through the dealership you bought a vehicle at. Well this piece of s*** place as my vehicle check for that sitting in their office but yet cant mail it out until the owner gets there and they dont know when the owners going to be back no hello I need that money to tag my other vehicle so I can continue driving it and take my kids for the doctors appointment without getting a ticket but no they got sit there and mess around and Ill give you your money that they owe you

Please dont get your car from this dealership. Theyll lose your car and then when they find it theyll hold it for 3 months just to not fix it after youve paid. Customer service is undeniably despicable.
I dont have a clue why a star is highlighted because I give this place a -0,brought my car 3 months ago everything was great everybody did wat that had to do just a week ago my side window got knocked out because I lock my keys in,call them on a Friday and ask them to order my window the guy told me he couldnt get it in...so Im like your the Kia place why the hell u cant so he give me a different place to call, call that place they told me sure we can have it here Monday but he wouldnt be able to place it in till Tuesday morning go to the place Tuesday morning just for him to tell me he couldnt get the glass hes sorry he found out Monday and didnt call so he give me a number I called them they ordered two windows came to the house and the windows didnt fit call the Kia place back and talk to someone with a nasty attitude it was to the point I told him to place the phone down and let me talk to someone else,now this is Wednesday the same guy I call Friday got on the phone I told him I been getting the run around since Friday about my window can u please tell me what I need to do so he said on yea I remember u I can get your glass just came in and pay for it....I was pissed then I get there the lady with her smart mouth ass telling me theres no need for me to paid for express itll be here Saturday so at the end of it all I had to pay 350 for a glass I shouldve already had but they gave me the run around and the sad thing about it all is the same person he first told me to call will be the same person to put my glass in and I have to wait for him to give me a date so he can place it in...never again will I go to the Kia place 2 thumbs down!!

Ill pass!! Thats what the manager said when I told them Id pay MSRP and no more for the vehicle. They have all kinds of add ons they try to nickel and dime you with, sales person was nice enough but if thats how the manager acts I cant imagine the other sketchy stuff they do. So Ill pass too, right on to Houston or Beaumont to not be insulted when I try and buy a vehicle.

How do you sell a car to a older couple on fixed income/social security, only to call them the next month and tell them they have to bring it back because they gave you the wrong car?? Shouldnt that be part of their JOB? Sooooo.... when you do swap the car to get the VIN # you are paying for, the seat is stained in 2 different places, theres no spare or jack, its filthy... low fluid lights blinking away... but yet they tell you they detailed and serviced it?!?!? We scheduled an appointment to have everything taken care of, drive an hour and 30 minutes to get it done... and they tell us sorry, cant get the stains out! We dont have a spare or cargo net, well order one... then why make an appointment??? Very sorry salesman.... very sorry sales MANAGER! Stay clear of the dealership... nothing but lies! #ZEROSTARS
I came after calling first and was never even shown a vehicle. I was pretty much told that unless my father co-signed I was out of luck. While I was being rejected after providing my info my father was outside being disrespected by another dealer when he was interested in looking at vehicles himself. He asked a question to a dealer and instead of answering he ignored him, after my father asking the question again he reluctantly provided a one word response as he walked away. Bad customer service. Luckily I found a better deal at a separate location.
BEWARE! I concur with many others that have posted reviews wishing that there was a “ZERO” star rating available! My family of 4 went into Kia of Lake Charles after calling the dealership to see if anyone was available to help us. It was about an hour before closing time, but the sales representative I spoke with insisted that I “come on down”. When we got there, the salesman was outside waiting and tried to rush us into test driving a large SUV without explaining much of anything about the vehicle. He tried to stop me from looking at the window sticker and price of the vehicle. He was very “cocky” and assured me that he knew what we needed. I refused to just jump in the car, and insisted that he listened to our price range and what we needed for our family! Shortly after, I chose which vehicle to test drive and took the time to explain our “sticky” situation as we are due for another baby and simply needed a larger vehicle. He was still CONFIDENT he could work it out in our favor with the note, money down, and interest rate we wanted. After the test drive, he rushed us inside to get the “credit application”. I had to keep my mother in the loop about what we were doing so I FaceTimed her to get her help and perspective. The salesman was very rude and impatient. He was rolling his eyes and shaking his head as if I was wasting his time! He conferred with his manager for a second, and then his attitude changed. He huffed and abruptly said, “this isn’t going to work, you’re too upside down, it’s like $10,000 upside down (totally false) and we can’t do anything for you!” (This was before even running my credit or knowing my 10 day payoff ) Before I could get a sentence out, he packed up my paperwork and started to get up from his desk! I wanted to ask about the unexpected change of attitude and where he was getting these numbers from as it wasn’t our situation at all. He cut me off again and coldly said “find someone to take over your payments and then come back” as he walked away leaving us there alone. We hadn’t to gather our children and belongings and see ourselves out because this salesman and his manager had quickly made themselves scarce! I have NEVER felt so humiliated, embarrassed, and disrespected in a car dealership! I want to discourage anyone from shopping at this dealership because they don’t seem to care about helping a customer out and making RESPECT a priority! This is a poor representation of what Kia stands for! And I hope that the corporate office will certainly re-train this manager and his employees to better serve our community!
Im sorry to say, but car dealers and proctologists are my two least favorite people to visit. But my experience with Kia Lake Charles was outstanding. If you go into a dealership with your research already done, you will have a much better experience. There were no problems - not with the salesman, sales manager or finance manager. It was a smooth deal. This is NOT the same Kia of Lake Charles from years past. I would go again.

I am in my SECOND car bought from Kia...I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I have always recommended them to many people and they have also been pleased with their services. I have no clue how they have so many horrible reviews, but I know people get upset with dealerships easily. I am a REGULAR customer of Kia and I can def vouch for how awesome the people are up there. All the way from the accounting department, sales and service!
FYI everyone my wife and I purchase a 2016 Kia Soul from them in March of this year(2020)... My wife wake up yesterday (06-16-20) and could not make it a mile and a half to the corner store...I called Kia of Lake Charles service department this morning to tell them that it had threw a rod in the motor....and is there a service guy Jason... said that they are not going to take responsibility of its after they are the one who did the oil change in March when I got the vehicle...so be careful with buying a vehicles from Kia of Lake Charles

Worst experience by far. The saleswoman was very helpful in the beginning but by the end of it when we decided that we didnt want to go with the options they were pushing at us the finance guy was very rude. He got a huge attitude with us and wouldnt stop telling us how we wasted his time and that we should have left hours before hand. I would have left if I would have known they werent going to negotiate AT ALL on the price!!
Was not happy with the salesmen. One of them had no clue about selling cars and repeatedly tried to sell me a car that I wasn’t interested in and different color/trim level than what I wanted. Also, there was a blonde saleswoman who showed attitude to my friend who was just trying to negotiate a better deal for me. I was seriously considering an suv there but ended up walking out after the conversation escalated quickly. Will not be buying a car there. There are way better salesmen at other dealerships who are able to stay calm and collected. I thought these guys were trained to negotiate! Ended up having an amazing next door at Billy Navarre Nissan.
My wife and I give Kia of Lake Charles 5 stars! Our sales person Rebecca was very helpful and pleasant, she worked hard to get us the best deal on the used vehicle we had picked out. Kade who is the Director over the parts & service department Is awesome, he made sure we were helped getting our new keys & fob programmed after the sale & recently made sure an issue we had was taken care of!Thank You!!!
Messaged with them on FB about coming to their buy back event. Specifically asked if they could just buy a vehicle without taking one on trade and was told Yes has to be 2014 or newer and have 75k miles or less :)Told them our fit both and we wanted to come in. Set an appointment Tuesday for Saturday, drove 40 minutes to appt Saturday, salesman was nice (only reason for more than 1 star) and said he didnt think they could do that. We went inside and he asked his boss who said they couldnt do that at all. I told him they may want to tell whomever was over their messenger because we just drove 40 minutes for an appointment. His words were, Okay, and rolled his eyes. No other words were spoken to us before we left.
Horrible experience! Their salesperson I think her name was Katherine Barrows needs an attitude adjustment! No customer deserves to be treated poorly and discriminated against based on their low income or not being approved. I told her I would come back when I had more money to put down but she wasnt sympathetic or valued about me as a customer at all. Instead she just brushed me off, said Oh well and had an attitude when she replied. If this is the kind of employees Kia is hiring then Im finding business through another dealer! So unprofessional.

If I could give it a 0 I would... worst dealership Ive ever dealt with. Summer and her finance manager are sorry... they put several thousand of warranties on the vehicle after I asked not to... needless to say Im getting rid of my vehicle and Ive only had it for about 2 months.
I hate to leave a bad review but I experienced how underhanded a dealership could be. Ive been to kia dealerships in different states. Dont go to this one.
Very pushy. We went to see a certain used car that we could afford, but the sales lady didn’t even let us see that vehicle. Instead, she was pushing us to buy a new car right away. She almost ran our credit check. Very disrespectful. Demeaning. She made us very uncomfortable.
My mother and I live in separate states. We reviewed the inventory, found a vehicle, and applied online for two weeks. Once my mother was able to be approved we contacted the dealership spoke with Brandon and scheduled a test drive and appointment to make the purchase. After driving one and a half hours away prepared to sign and drive away with the vehicle selected only then was she advised the vehicle she selected was not available for drive away today. In fact she was told the vehicle was being detailed, wow. Needless to say the test drive is the only investment my mother made and will be making with this dealership. Purchasing a vehicle is already a stressful task we must all endure but when you waste the time of my mother after being explained that she had to be helped from so far away let’s me know the type of dealership and business you they are.
ZERO stars!I saw a vehicle online, and I called about it. The salesman Aaron Kendrick told me that the truck was still available and looking good. I explained that, me and my boyfriend wouldnt be able to get there until 7pm, due to our work schedules. He gave me his cell number, and said that it was perfectly fine. I called back at 5pm to confirm that we would be coming, he said he had the vehicle ready for us to test drive. We drove up at 6:45, I made a lap around the parking lot just to see the vehicle before we got with Mr. Aaron. We could not find it. So we parked and got down, a lady came up to the car and asked if we were meeting with someone, I stated, we set up a meeting with Mr. Aaron Kendrick to see a truck. She went and got him and they came outside together. He shook my hand but not my boyfriends. Then he asked us what vehicle we were there to see, as if we had never spoken. I stated, the Chevrolet S10 we had spoken about a few hours ago. He said, oh yes lets go get the keys. Thats when we heard the girl say, didnt we sell that last week, he said back, yes and made a face at her. I know a few salesman so Im familiar with how they operate, I assumed he lied to get us to come in, and would try and sell us a different vehicle. I was sadly mistaken! He brought us to the back of the dealership where he searched and searched for the keys. He said the keys some how got misplaced and said he will still show the truck to us. We confusingly followed him out to the back of the lot, where he continuously led us on a wild goose chase, finally he claimed it must be at Kias other lot down the road, and we should go drive by and check. Me and my boyfriend were in complete shock! I told him that the truck was not there and that we heard the girl say the truck got sold last week, he looked at me and said, is that what she said Ill be damned.Never have I experienced such unprofessional and inconsiderate service. It was a HUGE waste of our time! And I advice as long as Mr. Aaron Kendrick is working for KIA of Lake Charles, I would definitely not bring my business there.
I bought a used SUV and paid the note the transmission went out twice and they kept it a long time both times. They didnt offer me anything or conversate me with anything. Stay with out transportation for two months.I have not gotten anything from them. Plus I didnt complain and give them trouble. Ask to talked to the GM and they lied to me about him. I do not recommend Kia to no one.

I brought my Kia @ Nissan and because its a Kia car, I had to bring it in to Kia for any maintenance issues I had. At this point, I wish I would have gotten my car from Kia lol! Devin and Luke has been a huge help out with the minor issues Ive encountered with my lovely car. They actually help instead of putting on a front like they care just because it is their job. I work in hospitality so I know! Just wanna say you guys are awesome and I see yall moving up in Kia! Thank you.

The most upsetting part of this is that it was my first time ever buying my first car so I went to Kia of Lake Charles and it was the worst experience ever to be recorded. I traded in my 2002 Ford Taurus and I bought a used 2014 Kia Rio for 12,995. Now being that I am completely ignorant to this whole process, I sort of figured that no car dealership would put me into a car that was a potential risk for destruction, so with a huge smile on my face I drove off in my newer car. Once it was inspected by my parents the following things were noticed; it was sold to me with a bald tire, missing vent handles, no paper plate and after a very brief police stop I also learned...no inspection ticket. I could probably write a 10 page review on this place, but I will end with this...to all my young people BRING YOUR PARENTS WHEN YOU GET A NEWER CAR. I just want anyone who is considering to buy a new car for the first time to know what happen to me, so that way it doesnt happen to YOU. just a little food for thought.

When you purchase a car you expect to have that same enthusiasm that you had when you signed your name on the dotted line. But here at KIA of Lake Charles, La. this is not so. The salesperson is great, the lady at the front desk is awesome, now it is time for you to change your oil and you have to deal with the people in the service department. “Awful” is the only word I can come up with to describe the service department at KIA of Lake Charles, La. It all starts at the head of the department, Brian. When you learn from your manager to be dishonest you have no choice but to be a dishonest employee. Like a child you think it is okay. Well, news flash it is not okay.

Attention!!! Giving Kia of lake Charles one star is still too high. I went in a couple weeks ago and had a horrible experience. The managers are bullies and shame customers into buying and get aggressive when you dont take there deal Almost all of there (Sales Team) if you can call them that >I prefer Prison release program. Are just as messed up in the head as they are when it comes to their customer service. They cussing in front of who ever and references to drugs. Bragging about doing drugs on company time is sickening. Managers dont care about the customer but bully everyone and questions everyones intelligence. They lied and tried to take money off my trade and leave a couple thousand out of my paperwork. Then when I brought it up. Lied to me saying the lender made another decision and shut it down. I have already contacted the *Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commision* and they will investigate and drug test everyone at Kia. (NEVER BUY FROM KIA OF LAKE CHARLES) Unless you want to buy a broken down car and want to end up in a financial burden.
We had a great experience at Kia of Lake Charles I was so impress with the staff ( Gilbert and Ricky ) that I just didnt purchases 1 vehicle but 2 a 2016 Kia Rio and a 2016 Kia Sorento . I had a bad experience at another dealership and a friend that has bought several cars there referred me to Kia of Lake Charles and Its was the best car buy experience no run around in and out in less than 90 minutes. I asked the sales person ( Ricky ) that I wanted all weather mats for the Kia Sorento he told me that he would purchase it out of his pocket and he was a man of his word and bought them for me. I have called 4 times today for the service dept. I was put on hold 3 times for almost 10 minutes and one took my number and told me someone would call me back shortly that was 3 hrs ago.. then I just called a lady answered real sarcastically and when I addressed her she.claimed that was the way she answered the phone.. Not a way to do business, going elsewhere
