This Dollar Tree has a pretty good selection of items. My husband loves when they have the Angle Squares in stock. Not all locations have them or maybe the run out pretty quick I dont know. For the first time we found the hand warmers and I wish they had more, we only found one. The two times Ive been to this location the employees have been very fast at check out and friendly. The store close to where we live the employees are ghetto and rude. One thing I could say is the store could be a little more cleaner and organized.

I’ve been going to this store since I was a little girl and I can honestly say that they have had some of the best customer service. As time went on, things changed and so did the people. The staff aren’t as friendly as back in the day but they aren’t rude either. Walking in you don’t hear the friendly chirpiness of, “Hello, Welcome to Dollar Tree” anymore and you don’t see smiles. Except for this one woman whose name I can’t remember but she’s always giving out compliments and has such a beautiful spirit. I don’t know how she does it due to unfortunate circumstances but she deserves a raise. I’ve said all of that to say, Don’t expect anything that you wouldn’t expect from a distant cousin who just came back into the states. I feel like they’re comfortable which is never good when dealing with the public. Personally, I love it but I can’t speak for people who aren’t so ‘down to earth’. @kensowuaiii

The workers are friendly & down to earth. I love this store, but all the dairy products were expired. Literally. 4 day old milk & yogurt...Other than that, this store is amazing.

This Dollar Tree is the best by far in our area. The employees are friendly and will help you in any way possible. The store is clean and the bathroom is stocked with anything you need. The store itself is always fully stocked with the day to day items and if you look, you can find that unique item you never expected to find for a dollar. Be sure to try the different types of of food they have to offer, youd be surprised how good it is.

I love Dollar Tree. I frequent both locations often. I prefer the Derek Drive Location because its bigger and more of a variety. One of my favorite places.

Love the store, hate that they only have one cashier at a prime peak time. Slowwww cashier, maybe she is having a bad day and no backup. I believe this was the first time they did not open a second register, in their defense.

The staff is super friendly, the store is kept clean and well stocked. I have never had a bad experience here. Good job!

They have a decent selection of different necessities that you may need. You probably will find almost everything you need, but those dollars add up fast!!

Its fine & nice, but wasnt carts availability. Holding items & walking with walking canes not easy. Dropped items 2 times with bad back, fussed. Would of bought more with cart.

Pretty much the same as other Dollar Trees. You just have to find what you want by chance. The company sends whatever supplies they want to sell.

It is always busy, and lines always long, shelves are barely stocked but i love the prices so after going for so long you dont mind the wait.

Loves going to this Dollar Tree Store. They are not junky like the others in Lake Charles. The staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful.

Great dollar tree location- Large with a selection of many household and food items. Always well organized and nice staff. Has a large frozen foods section as well.

GREAT PLACE! I go here SO OFTEN to do my shopping! I can get a bottle of shampoo for $1. I can get two bars of soap (if not more) for $1. I can get a huge bottle of bubble bath for $1. I can get a frozen meal for $1. There are even T-shirts that are sold for $1 each! Ive only had two problems with a service dog going into the store and even when she was inside, people calmed down as they saw she was a service dogl I can get so much stuff more than I listed! Dishes, cooking supplies, dining utensils, pens and pencils and SO MUCH more.

I would give them 5 stars, but the corporate office needs to give them more hours for their schedule. This store is always busy and they never have enough cashiers.

I like the new location compared to the other location near KMart. More selection and more room to move around. Friendly staff.

With a frozen foods section, plus they accept EBT/SNAP, you can save on certain groceries. They also have Natures Own & Wonderbread. Just ten dollars can go a long way there. Better to shop there than dollar stores (Dollar General; Family Dollar) for most of what you may need, especially if you are pressed for time or a budget.

Always clean and stocked. Its the best one in Lake Charles!!

Shelves were bare. The ones that werent bare, were covered by unstocked boxes. Cashier was talking on her phone the entire time as well as complaining about customers coming into the store, but this is what Ive come to expect when visiting any dollar tree. Nothing new, just rude and annoying.

The cashier smelled like a Cypress Hill concert and was high a kite. She was zoned out, staring off at the ceiling, and mumbling something about Cardi B. I stood at the register trying to check out for 5 minutes before she even realized I was there. The manager was rude and disrespectful. Any attempt to communicate with her was met with eyerolling and exaggerated sighs. I finally gave up and left. As I was walking out the door I heard the manager I heard the manager complaining about the white people always buying up all the tuna

Very slow. Always has long lines & employees are always taking their time like its no big deal. Homeless people are constantly sitting right outside the door begging. Nobody takes their job seriously here.
