I purchased a 2020 F350 in Oct. and had some manufacturer issues that Bolton Ford was going to fix. Started the process in Nov. and got an appointment to service the vehicle on June 2nd! On the first initial oil change in April, the dealership Bolton Ford in Lake Charles, La, performed an oil change and tire rotation. I received the truck back with grease on my chrome rims and grease marks on the body. I took it home to clean it and discovered deep scratch marks on two of my rims. Needless to say, I was not happy, and after a disagreement at the dealership where I was treated with horrible customer service and have been for months prior, I decided to have work done at another dealership.I brought my truck to Mike Willis Ford in Sulphur, La. In one day, Mike Willis service department completed an inspection of the truck and got approval from Ford to replace all the issues except for one. The center console lid had some imperfections in the leather and was going to be replaced at the Bolton Ford dealership with no issues. But for some reason, the service manager at Mike Willis advised that FORD warranty denied the claim stating it was not a manufacturer defect. I contacted Ford customer care and explained the situation I was dealing with and how unhappy I was with their service after spending a lot of money on a truck. The best they could do was to offer me financial assistance in getting the console replaced! Basically saying, they did not believe the imperfection was caused by the manufacturer and that I had to pay for the part!I am not one to post my problems on social media. However, after spending a lot of money on this vehicle and it having manufacturer issues that FORD will not fix, on top of the poor service I have received from Bolton Ford, I will continue to post to social media platforms until this is properly resolved.I have attached a picture of the console with the manufacturers imperfections and scratches on the rims caused by Bolton Ford.P.S. I have had a great experience so far with Mike Willis Ford and hope that continues.
Don’t do business here. I have never left a review for anything negatively and took my time to make sure I did for these guys. After putting a $500 deposit down on a vehicle the sales team completely disregarded my transaction and gave zero communication with me, making it impossible to plan the 6:30 hour drive to pick up this vehicle. After they lost my business due to this I’ve reached out multiple times regarding the deposit being returned (was assured it was 100% refundable and have texts that prove that.) and have not seen a bit of that money back, nor has any member of the staff reached out to me directly to ensure it was taken care of.
Just want to thank Jeremiah, Damon, and everyone who helped me. Bought a F150 from them and live in Shreveport and couldnt be happier. Truck is great and service was top notch. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need, was quick to respond, wasnt pushy, and was very professional. Got my new truck delivered to my house and they picked up my trade in. Was a little worried about trying to buy a truck online but they made me feel at peace. I purchased a new 2020 Mustang convertible from Bolton Ford. The buying experience was hassle free. After arriving home, I realized there was no bracket for the front license plate. I sent a text to the salesman who responded one would be sent to me. Picking it up was not an option as I live 150 miles away. After a week, I sent another text. The salesman informed me it had to be ordered but he would check on it and send it. The bracket didn’t arrive so I assumed it would be sent with the license plates. I received a call from the dealership several weeks later informing me the plates had been received and they would be sending those to me. I asked about the bracket. The lady to whom I spoke stated she would get with the salesperson. A few days later, I received the plates sans bracket. I called the salesperson. He apologized for the error and assured me the bracket would be sent. After waiting another week, I sent an email via the dealership’s website explaining the situation. My only request at that point was that if they were not going to honor their word to extend the courtesy of letting me know. The next day I received a text from the salesperson confirming my address. Several weeks later, still no bracket OR communication that they will not be sending one. At the time of purchase, it was late in the day on a Saturday. Most of the staff had left so there was no one to prep the car. I believe a bracket to be a fair exchange for the lack of a much needed wash
My sales person was Devin brown he was absolutely great and helped with anything I asked. The finance guy Nick got me a great deal and was very professional and fast. I will definitely be buying all my trucks with them from now on.

In my lifetime I have purchased 4 new vehicles and and 4 used vehicles and this was hands down the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. They were not pushy. They took time to explain the different vehicles to me. They were friendly and honest and upfront. I looked at cars Friday for a couple hours and when I went to leave it was no pressure. It was so nice to not have that “how can I get you in a car tonight” feeling that we went back the next day and bought one!!! And without going into detail we basically picked the wrong vehicle and Boo, Devin and Alex has the BEST customer service ever. It was truly a wonderful experience!!!

A great and easy process all around. The salesman, Mike Reid, was very professional and helpful. The finance person, Morgan, was very helpful and explained each step as we went. As far as price of the truck I bought, Bolton Ford beat the prices of 3 other dealers on the same year model truck. It was definitely worth the drive. I was scheduled for a reoccurring issue with my 2020 ford explorer. Warranty work, the parts were supposed to be ordered. I drop it off at 7:45am. At 12:30 I call to check on it, they will call back. 2:30 rolls around, Alisa hasnt called me back. I call again, no work has been done on my car, they didnt have the parts in. So my vehicle sat there that long with no call at all. Oil change still needed to be done.2 hours later I show up to get it, Alisa claims Ford isnt going to cover the warranty work. I call Ford for the 2nd time and they told me to go to another dealership because my vehicle is under warranty and Alisa never even called to verify. They told me to go to another dealership who wasnt lazy. My vehicle was there from 7:45 am until 4:30pm for an oil change. Not one time did anyone call to give me an update. Over bolton ford. We buy quite a few vehicles from here, but theyve officially lost my business. This is NOT the first time Ive had issues with service department.
My experience at Bolton Ford was horrendous. My husband and I flew from Atlanta to Houston, rented a car and drove to Lake Charles, Louisiana to purchase a specific truck. We made it with enough time to sign a bill of sale (the very last document needed) and submit it to our credit union. They knew we were in a hurry to get everything submitted before our credit union closed, so the loan could be funded and we could begin our 13 hour drive through the night back to Atlanta. They took their time, asking irrelevant questions, fumbling through paperwork and never being able to provide us with a simple bill of sale (something that could have been printed from google). But “the fax is busy”, “the manager isn’t answering his phone”, “what interest rate is your credit union giving you?”, “I guess your financing through us, bc we aren’t going to finish this in time”, and so many other excuses to stall the process till our bank closed... Which they did.In order to leave town, we had to finance through the dealership, which they later admitted when asked, that yes, they do get a kick back! Upon reading through the list of fees we found $1,200 of bogus charges! Excuses were, “whoops, he got fat fingered... I’ll change that”, “the other guy didn’t tell you what that was? I thought you knew”, and so forth.They tried to take advantage of us, not expecting us to push back. One guy even said, “You seemed pretty upset earlier”, completely attacking my emotions. This is a warning that they are typical used cars sales men, just looking to make a buck with their charades and excuses. It was gross. Buyer beware.
They were extremely nice and had a wide selection of vehicles. Jason was extremely helpful and patient, I had no clue what I even wanted. He found one that was perfect for me. Nick and Jason wouldnt give up until they found a way for me to be able to get it since I have no credit at all. You could tell they really cared, that means a lot to me.

Everyone from the Salesperson, Sales Manager & Business Manager & even the owner were great. They were knowledgeable and explained everything without pushing. They knew that I was having a hard time trading in my deceased husband’s vehicle and they were respectful & kind & patient even though I kept them late on a Friday night. I went to Bolton ford to get prices on new trucks. Met my salesman Skip Simon he was very helpful and a very nice person. We drove a few trucks I was interested in. I found the one I liked he worked with me and the sales manager worked with me they gave me what I wanted on my trade and gave me a lower price than I expected on the new truck so no doubt I agreed to buy it. I worked with the finance departments Jason Landry he was able to help me out with the finance side and explained everything. He answered all of my questions. I am very satisfied with the sales staff that I worked with and look forward to many more purchases from them in the future.

My husband purchased a brand new F350 from this dealership in late October 2020, since then he has been struggling to get manufacture warranty work completed! Repeat phone calls, parts need to be ordered, then that guy doesn’t work there anymore, ‘sorry sir nobody did any follow up on the previous guys stack of work in progress, glad you called us’ is basically what he got in response! Excuse after excuse from Bolton Ford and finally parts ordered and an appointment for the work to be completed and he is treated rudely and spoken to like a child by several people in the service department! Service rep told him if he knew anyone needing a job they we’re hiring and short handed, not enough techs for service or work-ins! Sales 101: NEVER make your company employment issues the customers problem! Absolutely unreal. Sad thing is, he could have purchased anywhere…he chose Bolton Ford to support local and have services done local. That’s pitiful!PS: manufacture warranty work is still not completed and they absolutely refused to give him his parts to take elsewhere.

TO QUICK LANE TIRE AND CAR:I Purchased (4) new tires 5 years ago and charged me tire hazard with out even asking me if I wanted it. At the time, the policy was to replace any of the tires if there were any damage or blown out, so I decided to keep it. I noticed a side wall bubble the other day so called to verify tire was in stock and that their system shows I have tire hazard. He informed me that the new policy (updated 1 1/2 years ago) pro-rates the tires tread. That pretty much means the extra policy I purchased is void as I only have 1/32 of tread left before recommended tire change. I responded that I should still have life left in the tire and could have still used it if it wasnt damaged. They disagreed and wanted me to pay for new tire. This time I didnt fall for it and will take my business else where for tires.

The purchasing experience was great however ever I live about 4 hours from Bolton Ford and was about half way home when I started finding issues with the truck. I could not go back because I had to be home in time to pick my daughter up from school. When I told them about all the issues they acted like they could have cared less and told me to bring it to my local dealer. I brought it my local dealer and gave them the list of 8 different issues 7 of which are electrical items that don’t function at all. They said that Bolton apparently didn’t do a pre-delivery inspection before I picked the truck up. Now I have an $80,000 plus truck that I have to wait a week to get it in the shop to have it fixed and who knows how long it will be in there but Bolton Ford seems to be happy since they got there money.

Me and my wife went car shopping yesterday and we stopped at 3 different dealerships before going to Bolton, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had, Drake made the stress of getting a car easy, he is LITERALLY the best car salesman I’ve ever dealt with, he listened to what my wife wanted out of a car and listened to the price range we wanted to stay in and we ended up leaving with a car that she had no plan on getting but she is absolutely in love with it. He can hold a conversation and doesn’t make you feel pressured into buying a car. This was my first time buying a car at a dealership. We worked with Marco. He was very transparent and helpful. He walked us through every step. The financing representative worked with our budget and helped us find a loan that would work best for us. He went over everything we were signing so we knew exactly what we were or werent getting into. They even took care of my registration and license plates. No trip to the DMV for me! The service we got at Bolton Ford was unprecedented. Our salesman, Devin Brown, was exceptional. They gave us prices, trade in allowance and total after everything in record time. The finance department was very efficient and fast. We got a great deal on a truck and great financing. We got there at 11:30AM and by 4:00PM we had a new truck. They hadn’t even seen our trade but still gave us too dollar. We didn’t have to wait hours or days to get something which was good because my husband had to leave that night to go back to work in North Dakota. They even brought us the truck and picked up our trade. We will be buying all our vehicles from Bolton Ford and Devin Brown. They are unmatched in customer care.

We are thoroughly pleased with our experience. We unfortunately ended up having to go very close to closing on a Saturday, when they were all wanting to go to their employee party that they had earned for an excellent year, and we were treated like royalty. Our salesman Mr. Skip Simon was extremely helpful and knew exactly what we were looking for and the finance manager Nick Fuselier was so patient, knowledgeable and so very informative. The financial department was awesome in breaking everything down and making sure we are happy with our decision. Had a great experience at Bolton! Cameron was extremely helpful and proactive. I drove from an hour away to come look at a used truck and he had the truck cleaned and full of gas waiting for me when I got there! Chad took care of my paperwork and he was also very friendly, honest, and thorough. My kids ran around his office the whole time and he was completely cool about it and actually had my 3 year old help him hold some of the paperwork. Great people over there.
