Hayden and Mark are the most respectful! They remember who you are, remember your equipment, and when they tell you something it doesn’t change when you get there. I work nights and they had me in and out so fast! I can’t say enough praises about Henderson. You have to go see them! Amazing people! Amazing!

Great team, I had brought in my MG trolling motor for warranty work and the service team was on top of it. First called and said I may need powerhead on my mercuryGot second opinion and found I did not need it it could have costed me about 8000.00 but turned out to 762.00 ticket. I dealt with this business many years when they was in welsh selling case tractors so I figured I would look there for a mower with cash in hand, NOBODY ever acknowledged me when I was inside looking at the mowers . Playing on google on the desk computer I get looked at but never asked if they could assist me in any way at all . So I assume they don’t want to make a sale . I recommend to anyone go elsewhere, the business must have enough money and not want to make a sale . Again do not waste your time at this place at all unless you want to be ignored . My 15 year old son even said wow they don’t care at all, the owner needs to have his employees pay attention . Also clean the used machines you have inside for sale, not a good selling point when they have mud and grass still on them while on the showroom floor .

Great experience from start to finish! Drove nearly 300 miles after a few phone calls with Butch. Found him to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products and no high pressure sales pitch to be had. Also kudos to Corey in the finance department for making the process simple from start to finish along with great customer service. Definitely worth the drive!

I just bought a boat from Henderson Marine. I have bought used boats in the past from other dealers and have had negative experiences. This was not the case with Henderson. Henderson marine made sure I was taken care of quickly and all my questioned were answered. The boss and I went for a test drive on a local lake nearby and was very helpful in showing me around the boat given the boat had a lot of features that I was unfamiliar with. The employees are nice. The price markups are not. I dont get parts from here if I can help it. Youll pay out the rear end for your parts. I called them some time ago for a simple tractor part. The total from their competitor was around 25 dollars. Thats after tax, and freight. Here it was around 35 without tax and freight. Its as if they rather not be bothered with you. Higher prices to drive you somewhere else. So, now I dont buy from them unless its absolutely necessary and I need the part right away. (Provided its in stock. Which 9 times out of 10 its not.) Ill just stick with the other dealer in town

Honestly wasnt very happy

I am a local fishing guide in the area and have been dealing with Henderson Implement since 2010. Since that time I’ve had many motors serviced at the shop. They understand the business that I’m in, when I have something break, I need it fixed yesterday, not next week. They’ve always gotten me in and out in a timely manner and I really appreciate that. If our boats are not on the water, we’re not making money. They are an integral part of our team at Big Lake Guide Service. Mark does a great job managing the service department and the mechanics are top notch. They aren’t just a tractor store, the marine division is as strong as any I’ve dealt with.

Great service but terrible selection for boats, go here if you want a tractor or atv! They have plenty of of tractors and even rent them, ive rented a medium size tractor and a mini excavator and it was really nice and ran perfect, they drop off and pick up for a very fair fee.

The most responsive & professional experience I’ve experienced in a utility vehicle sales setting. Toby Leger was excellent with his knowledge and ability to find answers to rather challenging questions as the sales representative and was straightforward and honest with his interactions and Tyler Dalton also took time to answer questions relating to the financial and other business related issues.HI&M are lucky to have such professional and thoughtful employees. No doubt they are a successful business partly because of this.

I purchased a 20 SunTracker with 90hp Mercury in August of 2018 at the Lake Charles Hendersons. After some disagreement about financing we took the boat home and enjoyed it for about one year. In about Sept of 2019 the motor started chugging and missing badly out of the blue. I discovered on my own that if I put it in neutral and revved it to about 2500 rpm it would beep 6 times and clear up. Not wanting to run the boat under warranty with a problem I took it back to the dealer in early December. After about two weeks they said they rerouted the speedometer cable away from the shift switch and it no longer showed a problem on the service persons laptop.When I put the boat back in the water in March it still ran bad. I took it back and after three weeks they called and basically said they didnt have a clue what was wrong with it and I could come and get my boat. I asked if they ran it under a load and they said they didnt have the facilities to do that. But they could put it in the lake and test it for $300.00.I called Mercury and they suggested I take it to another dealer. With Covid 19 every dealer is slammed right now.I googled the problem and had it running like new in about twenty minutes. Bled the Schrader valve.I am not nor have I ever been an outboard mechanic.

On my lunch breakI went to the dealership and I drove a used tractor,told salesman I wanted price on tractor,new bushhog and delivery(60 miles) He said I will call with a price,I went back to work.He called,I told him I wanted the tractor and bushhog and that I would be in at tomorrow opening with a check for total package.He said fine but no hurry and that he would start putting bush hog together.Two hours later the salesman called me and said that he sold the tractor and that it happens like that sometimes.I trusted these people and I feel they were not honest or truthful.

It was a breeze to purchase my boat. No long drawn out process. They were honest and genuine. Im satisfied!

We were looking for a very common boat part and the girl at the parts desk clearly did not want to be there. She didn’t even check to see if they carried the part. Just said they did carry brand specific parts, which this part was not brand specific! She would have known that if she would have cared Will take our business elsewhere.

After researching new tractors for a few months I kept coming back to Henderson Implement in Lake Charles. The deciding factor for me was that they had lots of tractors inside where I could put my hands on them and ask questions. My salesman Jason C. was very helpful every time I went in. The Tractor I ordered took six weeks to arrive and I was told that upfront so no surprises there. Jason kept me up to date on my order through E-mail every couple of weeks. When I picked it up It was exactly what I ordered and was serviced clean and ready to go. They were easy to deal with from start to finish. I plan to purchase any future Kubota products from Henderson.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the various features of the tractors. They had a great available selection to actually experience in person. My salesperson, Chris, was patient with me throughout the couple of months between my initial visit and final purchase. Overall, a great experience!

Slow service inside

I was very much Disappointed with the level of service, lack of experience and just Poor Customer Service. The Service Manager had the nerve to say he was Overwhelmed . Every questioned I asked, he didnt know.Needless to say, I will not be referring anyone to this location.

The staff is very friendly and communicate with you every step of the way. Corey did a great job letting me know how much the service would be on my 2007 Ranger Reata, when the parts were all in, when they would start working on my boat and calling me when the work was done. I would highly recommend them for servicing your engine, trailer and boat.

Service department is great! Mark has helped us with everything we needed these past couple of years. The only thing I would change is Polaris dealers need to get better extended warranty programs. Pennicale extended warranty is horrible and would never recommend that warranty. Polaris has been great in helping us get things changed that needed to be. Even though Pennicale was reluctant to change them.

Well sad to here Toby is no longer with Henderson anymore what a good guy he is has a baby & one on the way but cant go to work due to Hendersons no compete policy which keeps him from going to work in sales to feed his family & support them sad such a Christian based company so said will not let him out of that contract if he was not aggressive enough then you should have nothing to worry about let him go & allow him to work shame on you Mr. HENDERSON I will never buy or step back in your place of business again I deal with real people not yellow belly snakes.

Came in to try to locate the owner of a huge bag of fishing gear that was left at our business. The registration of the trailer for the customers boat was in the bag and it was issued by Henderson Implement and Marine. The lady at the front desk was extremely annoyed at us coming in to try to get contact information for the owner to give them their fishing gear. She shushed us to answer the phone so we just left.Also met with the same issue when we tried to find a part a while back. Maybe this is not the position at the business for someone with this type of attitude?

My boat was damaged in hurricane Harvey so I brought it to these people for servicing and to replace the ignition switch and control box under an insurance claim. I brought the boat in on September 26, 2017 and was called on January 31, 2018 and was told it was ready for pick up. Well, I picked it up today, the paperwork said “cause: external fuel pump locked up” and “correction: freed up the pump and was able to get ignition fired off and running” total: $451.57. I asked if they had filed the bill with the insurance company and they said no, but at least they agreed to so I did not have to pay out of pocket. I pulled around the back of the store to get the boat and the trailer was sitting on one completely flat tire, one partially flat tire, the scupper drains were plugged and water was standing inside, the cuddly cabin door was wide openwith leaves and limbs inside, the ignition switch was still hanging out of the console and the control arm was all the way down in reverse. Notice that I have only stated facts and have not given my opinions.

Needed some help with finding a part that I lost to my Stihl weed trimmer. A local big box store that carries Stihl didnt have it....a pretty common part. Walked in to Henderson and they got me fixed right up. Very friendly service dept and knowledgeable and eager to help.Will be going back for future needs.

When you purchased something from them you need to read the paperwork with a fine tooth comb to make sure that what is on the invoice and buyer sheet it exactly what you want. Don’t just assumed that what you wanted it what is in the invoice and the buyer sheet because it may not be and if it is not what you wanted there is nothing that they will do about it. We purchased a boat from them in November of 2018 and my husband wanted the depth finder in the console to have the side imaging on it will it didn’t it had the down imaging and we didn’t realize until March 2019 that it didn’t have the side imaging even though we have had to take the boat back to them twice because a switch kept running th battery down and the motherboard went out on the Ipolite trolling motor only after having if for a couple of months and every time that my husband talked them or when he went and picked it up he would always ask if the side imaging was working and every time he was told yes but in reality it was never set up for side imaging and the side imaging depth finder was not the one that was order. So therefore we are not stuck with a depth finder that we didn’t want and are out more money for the correct depth finder and transducer because of it.

I had a great experience at Henderson of lake Charles John hoffpauir was very helpfull and assisted me purchasing a rotor tiller for my Kubota tractor service was excellent and I am very satisfied with my rotor tiller and tractor that I purchased with johns assistance. I will be buying more equipment from Henderson because of excellent sales and service.

In my experiences with Henderson Implements (Lake Charles), I have rented Kubota Skid Steers as well as skid steer attachments.The equipment has been in top notch working order, clean, fueled and ready to go to work.Josh Blanchette leads the day to day equipment rentals, anticipates customer needs and makes certain the customer has exactly what he/she needs.Josh is always ready to meet the needs of the customer with utmost courtesy. Friendly people and they have some good deals

If you want your trolling motor in worse shape than it was when you brought it to get fixed, then this is your place. Go see Henderson I had to dry out my lower unit after I removed it, because it was spinning backwards. I waited over a month for it to get repaired, only to go out on the water and find it not working properly. Once I got back to the house, I pulled it apart and found everything in the lower unit was holding water due to it being poorly assembled. I will never give Henderson Implement a minute of my time for anything.

Staff at Henderson is very professional. I purchased a Polaris Ranger and have been very satisfied with it. The service department has done wonders on my Kubota tractor as well as the Ranger

Ive dealt with Henderson in the past and generally had a pleasant experience, but this last service visit left a lot to be desired.A family member hit something in a field, busted the tire, and took the tractor to Henderson for repair (along with an intermittent starter issue) and brought a copy of my insurance. Service rep called me and asked to proceed; I informed them the service was an insurance repair, they said Oh, I forgot and then without quoting any price asked to go ahead with the insured repair, I said of course. Days after the repair and starter troubleshooting I got a call informing me that they do not deal with the Kubota insurance people and that I had to make a new claim... I asked why I wasnt told that BEFORE the repair was done (at this time no cost was yet to be given to me), and some meager response was given and the phone was hung up on me. I submitted a claim and was subsequently informed that neither of my service issues were covered via the Henderson service department, and my tire replacement was about 2.5 times the cost of what my local tire shop would have done it for. Also was charged over $100 in service fees for what basically amounted to starting my tractor and not seeing an issue several times (starter troubleshooting).I used the online chat to inquire if it is their policy to proceed on a repair BEFORE a claim is made/approved when working on a insurance claim (I know, I know, I didnt make it right away, but I did tell them REPEATEDLY that it was a claim over the course of several calls). A Henderson manager called me in response to my chat session (pretty quickly actually) and when I explained the situation, he basically said it was all my fault for saying to proceed, regardless of my repeated instruction to proceed with insurance and the service reps understanding that I was attempting to use my insurance, end of conversation. I pick up the tractor and everyone was very pleasant, but there was no offer to work something out.There was misunderstandings on both sides, but Im real disappointed Henderson did not take any responsibility for their employee. Customers beware.Update: I didnt get a notification of their Google review response and noticed it a few months later. I followed their instructions and emailed them with my information; then nothing for weeks. I finally get an email from the address listed, except it was a promotion they are running... LOL, yeah, they got my email, decided not to deal with me, and added my email to their marketing spam list...

The sales people work hard to get you a good deal, but check what you are buying before you leave because if it doesnt work and you try to bring it back the services department dont care, I was told the new boat was check before I pick it up I think they failed that check, recommend you go elsewhere if you want it back fix and in a timely manner.

Sales sucks and service sucks

Bought a RZR 1000 highlighter edition from here. Every time I bring it there for them to work on it, I get it back and have to go over it and find all the missing bolts and fasteners they didnt put back in. The latest being a transmission mounting bolt and the air filter cover left open and part of a rocker switch laying in the floorboard that goes to the lights on a $3200 roof system.

We have several pieces of equipment we purchased from Henderson.When we think equipment or parts we think Henderson. We are very happy with our dealer. Next buy Kubota RTV!

Spent 30 mins in here looking at the tractors and not one person even approached me and when I went to approach an employee they seemed too busy for me. Guess Ill have to spend 20k+ elsewhere
