I really like this place and the food. But again they never impressed me and i only give 5 start to those places that i really feel like i am welcome and i get the service that everyone deserves.I may go back to this place and try it out one last time. Thats when i will change the stars from 4 to 3 or 5.

Five stars! The ambience was so classy, elegant and beautiful. The food is great, is the best chicken kabob me and my husband ever had, juicy, grilled and charred on the outside, the beef koobide was so tasty and the hummus is to die for. We dont drink alcohol but we appreciated so much the themed bar and the decorations. 10/10 Totally recommended 👍☺️

The main reason for this rating is due to the simple fact that upon arriving not once does the girl attending the front desk or podium DOES NOT acknowledge us. Other than that the food is delicious!

It wasnt my taste. Lamb rack was taste salmon. Not fan of spices on kababs and gormes. Food wasnt bad overall and service was good but not as good as it should be.

What did we do before Yelp? Without the overwhelmingly positive reviews we never would have tried this place. The outdoor patio gave us the peace of mind we needed to eat out. How much take out can one tolerate? The food was superb; fresh, flavorful and abundant. And Amy, the server was on top of her game.We will definitely return.

I came during the lunch special. Lunch special between 11 to 3. Decent cheap price and large portion. Taste wasnt that great but not bad also. Stars is for overall services I got from them..they are great.If you are a small eater like me, you can share. I like the light dim environment and the hip music.They started me off with their appetizer while I waited for my order that came with soup.

Nice place and nice staffs, food is very great and good taste it. We ask some extra to go and they gave me everything to get at home like in the restaurant. Food take a little bit but it worth the wait, everything fresh from the cook.

This was my first time eating at woodfire kabob but I was in the area and it looked like a good place to get some good healthy food. Some good tasting healthy food! My friend and I enjoyed our meals and had a wonderful time in the spacious, and friendly environment. Special thanks to our server Chelsea for taking good care of us and helping us make great choices for our lunch. Everything was delicious and we will be back again!

We had three dishes and shared. Salmon kabob, Ghormh Sabze, and eggplant heaven. The yogurt was so good and fresh.

The food was good not great. Their white yogurt sauce is the best. Try it! We visited the restaurant during the pandemic so we dined on the curbside. (Outdoor) It was spacious. I tried chicken over rice. It’s delicious. 4 starts because I tasted better but differently tasty.

Service was great but food was terrible. The meat was uncooked and flavored awkwardly. The flavors didn’t match anything i have eaten and starting to wonder if they just threw some spices together randomly. Save yourself a trip.

I do not recommend it, absolute waste of money. Ive never experienced such bad service before. We ate cold food. I found Sand is my rice, the restaurant was filthy, the table was so dirty, The price is as high as a fancy restaurant, but it doesnt want to be fancy. Unfortunately, we prefer the Macdonald to this place.

Tried this place out this past weekend. Food is delicious, authentic. The bar is silly and kitschy but I think thats what they are going for. Servers are very friendly and attentive. Would def go again.

What a pleasant surprise, this elegant Persian restaurant in Laguna Hills Mall. The place is spacious inside, quiet, the seats and tables are well arranged. Food tastes good, service is great. Notably, food is not as salty compared to other restaurants. The Lamb Shank is highly recommended, comes with Cherry Rice. Also, the appetizer is amazingly good. Ample parking available, major credit cards accepted.

It’s HALAL !!!!We ordered the Soltani Platter. It comes with one skewer of ground chicken kabob and one skewer of boneless chicken kabob. Ground chicken was good but the boneless was a bit bland. We also ordered a side of Hummus and it had this raw taste of something that I wasn’t able to identify. Maybe too much tahini in it.We sat outside and there was a live DJ with really good music, so that was nice! We saw the interior of the restaurant and was quite impressed by it.Food was not super expensive!

I’m a very adventurous eater, but this place was not the adventure I was looking for. It looked like a 14 year old D&D fan walked in and had full design control over the place. What the hell kind of a restaurant has a 10 foot tall skeleton holding a sword in the entrance? Strange decor everywhere. Hostess claimed they had full service inside, but in fact there was ZERO service. Several employees walked by and did not even acknowledge our party. Menu was overpriced, and they had maybe 6 people inside. We walked out after waiting for about 15 minutes for service. Hostess on the way out said “sorry we’re very busy.” 6 people for a full sized restaurant is busy? Definitely not a nice place to eat.

Very nice staff, food is in big portions and good quality, I like how big the space is. Also they great you with cheese and bread platter which is fun to have before food. Overall I recommend this place to all.

Finally decided to give this place a try....glad we did but for us it is a one and done.Walked in to see mythical creatures decorating the bar and the bartenders had elf ears! Seems they serve mystical teas and no alcohol. Cash or Venmo only. Surprisingly they have a big following because their seats were busy and people were waiting the entire time we were there! We did not try the teas but were amazed how busy they were!As for the restaurant, service was ok. They could have used one more person to keep up or maybe better training to multi-task. Food was ok, slightly on the pricey side for what you get. The free appetizer platter looked like it was literally thrown in the plate. For us, there are other places like this that are better overall.

It wasn´t Persian food when you cover kababs and chikens with SPANISH spicy... very spicy dressing. I HATED IT. Other Persian strew wasn´t good at all. So pity nice location but FOODS ARE MORE SPICY MEXICAN That Iranian food. WOULD NEVER GO BACK.It´s like you put ice cream on top of chicken tortia.... UGH THE SPICY DESSING WAS DISSASTER.

Never recommended; the food was terrible, the same as the service. the table was not clean, the restaurant charged as a fancy restaurant but not fancy, Macdonald much much better than here.

We ordered 2 plate, Zeresh Polo with Boneless Chicken and Lamb Barg.The rice was over cooked to the point that it was mushy and tasteless!!!!Zereshk polo az you can see had probably less than 1% zereshk ( Barberry)Chicken was cover with EggColor ( Commercial food coloring ) and super dry and the Lamb was covered with Tenderizer.I tried to have a conversation with the manager and the server said that he was also the manager and when I told him the food was very very poor quality it felt like I was talking to the wall.We left our food as you can see in the pictures.Don’t recommend the service and the food.

On our way we got our eye on this restaurant. The parking is very big. The restaurant is huge and we got our seats easily. The appetizers were served instantly and every food was delicious. We ordered chicken barg, koobideh, rack of lamb and lamb chops. They were delicious and so delicate. It was so juicy as you want to keep one eating the food. I am sure I will be coming here next time.

This was my first time in this restaurant and what a great experience it was. Me and my friends were greeted in a friendly manner the very first time we entered and immediately the smell of kabob, oh my god i knew i chose a right place to eat kabob with my friends.This place was huge and we got a place to seat easily. We ordered the food and it didn’t took that long to get our food. The food was delicious and kabob was so juicy and delicate. The food portion was big so don’t eat anything before coming here. I will come back again to this place as it became my favorite.

Everything there has a good quality and taste. We’ve been there several times and tried different appetizers like must-o-khiar, humus, tahdig 1/2 and 1/2, Kashke Baden join and must-o-musir. All were excellent. Koobideh is also one of the best I’ve ever had, although barg, lamb and chicken all are good. Overall I couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend it.

Horrible experience. First food came cold. Than they burnt it . At the end they didn’t want to replace the food. The cold food was warm in the microwave . The manger was not at the restaurant to talk to as well. The worst experience

Went to the Laguna Hills Mall for the vintage marketplace. Woodfire kabob was open but seemed to have a very limited menu. We ordered the chicken kabobs over rice and it was very good. It took a little while to get the food but it was quite tasty. They had places outside in the patio where we could dine and we had a nice lunch there. The rice was especially yummy .

I had a chance to talk to the manager, Mr. Navid and let him know how happy we are to have them in our neighborhood. With only 7 customers?) . Is that bad asking for help to double check the order? I use to place big orders here at least twice a month and now I will NEVER going to order here and I will make sure to tell my friends and family to avoid this place.

I have been going to the restaurants for years. My family members also comes here often. Today I did phone order, phone was picked up by the owner, she was rushing my daughter from the beginning. She was also seem rude and loud on the phone. Once my daughter placed the order I took the phone and ask her a question about the kinds of rice they have. I couldnt believe her reply she said we are really busy right now you can look at our menu on line. She was extremely rude. I would give her zero star if it was possible. I had almost $100 order. She lost me as a customer for good. I wont be back and will tell all my friends and family members to do the same. Hope she goes out of business and thats when she will realized it wasnt because of the food. It was due to her service.

The dishes are good from far but far from good. I highly doubt that this restaurant is run and supervised by a professional chef. You should not feel and taste the raw onions inside a ground lamb or ground beef kabob!!!Very mediocre food.

We had the filet mignon skewer with rice, hummus, and mushrooms. It was pretty good. The meat seemed a little off. Im not sure if it was under seasoned or maybe was a lower quality cut than labeled, but something was off. Otherwise everything was good.

Solid restaurant, have gotten takeout at least 5 times here. Very generous portions. My favorites are the chicken and lamb keftas, a toss up between the two. Cant go wrong with the beef kefta as well.The rice is so fluffy, and they give you so much of it. For a dinner for two, we have enough rice to last the next few days.The meat is really cooked over fire so it has that delicious fire-kissed taste that cant be replicated in an oven.

This restaurant is heading downhill fast.3 times they delivered food that are not complete. You better always check your order before leaving the restaurant. Otherwise you will end up with way less items in your bag.It seems like this is becoming normal for them to charge customers more and give less food.The food quality is rubbish now. Way too greasy.Would never go back.

One of the best Iranian food I have had in California. They are by far the closest you can get to the famous Iranian restaurant called Rafis.

The food was great but the staff did not follow instructions properly. I asked them for water without ice and lemon. They brought water with ice. I asked for a drink with no ice and they brought it with ice. They went and got it again but with less ice.

Really bad experience by the servers.After getting there and waiting for 10 minutes for the server, she finally came to us with a really bad attitude and asked us to move. According to her, she was busy and didn’t have time to clean out the table so we should find a clean table to sit on.We decided to move tables since we tried the food before and it was good over there. We ended up waiting for another 20 minutes and no one came to us to ask if we were ready to order or offer us anything to drink. Finally we ended up leaving after spending 35 minutes there without even being offered water. I might still order takeout from there but given the service I won’t dine there again.

This is the second time I give this restaurant a chance, I wish I did not. Last time we had undercooked chicken we sent it back, this time I order Sultani plate for two and in my opinion that is a one person portion and you ask them for salad instead of rice you get a small pint size??? I paid $34 including the hummus that tasted really bad!

Amazing food, came with 8 family members, great waitress. Came in at the perfect time, not exactly when we were all chewing in food and loving the great food they cooked, but other than that, this was all out an amazing time!

Wow, wow, wow! High quality food, huge portions, fantastic customer service (including sturdy packaging and 30% off!) even for takeout during the pandemic. Need I say more?We were very impressed by all the flavorful lamb dishes we tried--Woodfire offers lamb in a variety of cuts and preparations. We tried the lamb koobideh kabobs, the lamb filet, rack of lamb, and lamb shank. Its hard to pick a favorite, but the rack of lamb was particularly savory and succulent.We also enjoyed the beef koobideh and even the chicken koobideh (though lamb is of course superior).Oh, and the sour cherry rice is also da bomb!We cant wait to go back after we finish this huge takeout order that should last us a whole week!

The place is very nice and clean, the food was exceptional quality and quantity, the treatment was fantastic from all (most important). We were very pleased. A Mexican and Indian agree this is the best meal and favorite! We ordered the chicken and a lamb kahbob, hummus, grilled tomato, muste khiar, Shirazi salad, sour cherry rice and zerehk rice...overall everything is good. This is the second time we order and we love coming back!

It was our 1st visit to Woodford Kabob and didnt know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised by the spacious well decorated restaurant and quiet atmosphere. We ordered a variety of the kabobs and everything was well prepared and delicious. There are many more dishes to explore on future visits. We are looking forward to the culinary adventure.

Never met a Mediterranean restaurant I didnt like and this was no exception. The kabobs were all super flavorful and juicy. Service was also great. Use the dark brown lemon seasoning on the table, its delicious.

This place is awesome! Their lamb kabobs are not too salty and the rice is not oily. They even gave my mom a free soda. 👍👍👍
