Love this place it is my new go to store when purchasing any big or small, common or obscure, domestic or imported, massive beer, wine, liquor, liqueur, mix, non-alcoholic and much more prices are competitive. If purchasing the common leading big brand items, I am sure you would more then likely find the mainstream brands cheaper at normal stores if price is your main concern. Even then prices are not much higher for the large brands. My personal favorite attribute is the ability to arrive decided, clueless, recommendations seeking, requesting knowledge, desiring never befores, randomly choosing, or leaving the choice up to the underpaid, rhinestone unicorn that all locations keep behind the Golden Girls perfectly aged silver award winning prune hooch/jive juice hybrid .. 98% of the time RS unicorn picks the Bob Ross happy little mistake rainbow rum - pot of gold cost extra 🤣but seriously great place for every type of alcohol you might want...... P.S. the unicorn is a lie

Nice clean store with huge selection. While they do have high priced name brands and private label items, they also have great lesser known names at great prices. The app is great also as it tells you exactly where to find the item in the store.

Im from the UK but simply put, this is the best wine and beer store I have ever been to. The staff are incredibly helpful and the choices are bewildering and seemingly endless. This is most definitely your one stop shop for all things liquid enjoyment! Highly recommended.

Terrible customer service. Judged the moment I walked in. I asked for help to get something up top and the guy says sure. As soon as hes done he walks off like Sasquatch in the woods, then peeks around the corner to see if I noticed, which I obviously did, and he proceeds to walk quickly out of view like he was a little brother playing hide n seek. Is that how you help people get what they came to YOUR store to buy? Failed customer service. I wont be returning. Bevmo is friendlier.

After wondering up and down the well stocked aisle looking for the chardonayi finely asked an associate, who had passed me three times without any asking any customer service questions...can I help you find anything? Cashiers were helpful and engage ing.. Selection is enormous. Learning product locations need directions. Its a book store of bottles. I will return to locate my favourite adult beverages over time.

This wine shop is outstanding! They are always my favorite and my go-to wine shop every time I needed it. The staff is amazing and always interesting to interact with. Has the craft beers that I enjoy, and a great selection of wines and spirits. On occasion, they dont always my preferred craft beer. I have yet to make an online order for pick up, but will likely try that on a future visit or patronize another store closer to my home. Service is efficient.

I can browse for hours.. so many liquors, wins & beers from around the world. You could have a different kind with every meal & still not gone through half the store by the time you turn 80... absolutely luv it

Worst customer service ever!!! I was looking for a specific brand of Rose and after attempting to search for it myself for 10 minutes I proceeded to ask a store clerk. Very politely I said, “excuse me please. I need assistance in finding this brand.” And I showed said clerk the picture and name. Very rudely he proceeded to “school” me on the aisles and section numbers. Good customer service/ support would have or should have said, “of course, the Rose is located right here.” Especially being that we were both on the aisle of the wine. Customer service has gone down the toilet.

Best place to buy liquor. Great wine and beer selection. Recently needed a good tequila found a very good extra anejo through a knowledgeable staff. You can find most anything here with reasonable pricing.

Visited this place for a casual visit and found out they have a huge collection of different wines starting from Italy, Spain, Germany and few more other countries. Being the wine person I liked the Italian collection and the store is very well organized with the prices and names on the labels. Well maintained store.

Good a really good selection with good prices...Edit- thank you for responding, not sure of the best way to reply so this was the only option I could really see. I would like to see some more beers from local brewer Delahunt. Theyre one of my new favorites and their Hazy IPAs are excellent.

Great selection and friendly staff

I’ve been to this location several times and never had any problems this last time was very strange, I asked one of the employees if they had certain brands, I asked for them he then showed me, I then had more questions all pertaining to alcohol and he totally blew me off and didn’t give me the time of day. I then asked another employee if they carried “Olympia” (which is a standard beer dating back to the 1800s), she’d never heard of it, I later asked that same employee(a female) where there Pliny beer was(another popular standard and made right here in CA) she hadn’t heard(even after I spelled it to her) of it but asked another employee to show me. It seems either she was still learning or they don’t educate there employees on what they stock? I then went to check out and I didn’t notice I had cut a guy in line he was at least 6’ away from the line and talking to an employee they were apparently friends or knew each other? I was in a hurry so explained I didn’t know he was in line and held my spot as the guy was still talking away, the employee he was talking to was older and seemed to maybe be a manager or something, he went and got another employee to ring in his buddy in another line and they opened it only for that guy and closed me out. So I was still stuck in the longer line, not only do I find this favoritism and not fair to any other customers but also very rude. If they want to open separate line that’s fine but then ring up everyone not just your buddy and close the rest of us out. Not professional at all and this after the other employee blew me off and the other female didn’t have a clue about 2 popular and well known beers. Employees were way more concerned with whatever they were doing then to help me a customer. So that’s why they are getting only 2 stars from me today.

This is my favorite wine shop in the city! They have a wide selection of wines and beers here. I came here yesterday and purchased my fathers favorite wine and moms favorite red wine. I always came here to buy wines because they were cheaper than any other wine shops in the city! And the place was very near our place, thank heavens! Purchase your wine here, guys!

I was with a buddy, and we purchased several good wines from this place, and we are happy for their friendly personnel. I strongly suggest it.

Compare to the other liquor stores around; this store has more selections. The prices are similar. The interesting part is they have a small section for cigars as well. And yes it is climate controlled and has most of the popular brands to pick from. Their cigars prices are similar or maybe a little cheaper than the other cigar clubs around.

They have pretty much everything But no b&j wine coolers.

Its beautiful inside but not a single employee spoke to me, including the Manager. They just kept speaking to each other. I ended up walking out not buying anything. It was my first time at that location.

I wanted in and out. I needed a palatable sparkling wine to make mimosas and a cab. Ive had Happy Camper. I like the name and the wine. The salesman on the floor directed me to LaVostra Prosecco for sparkling wine, perfect; and suggested Radius as an alternative cab. Both great suggestions. I actually liked the Radius cab better than Happy Camper. In and out and the woman was actually sampling the LaVostra Prosecco, so I got to taste before buying.

My favorite store to visit! They have the largest selection of “adult” beverages that I know of including vodkas, bourbons, tequilas, wines, beers, liqueurs...you name it. The staff is extremely helpful and will even give you recommendations if you are looking to try something new. Their prices are also extremely competitive and often beat even Costco prices even. Incredible selection of beer, wine, and spirits. My favorite is the wall of craft beers from all over the world to mix and match. A great treasure hunt. Dont forget to head into the cooler (not the grocery stay glass doors, all the way into the walk-in cooler). Last time I found fresh Pliney the Elder in an unmarked box on the floor with a sign saying 1 per customer.

Order placed online and was available almost immediately. Pulled into curbside, popped the trunk and then off we went. Great job! Great people, too!

I used to like Total Wine quite a lot because it was a great place to go get an assortment of single beers. This location does have plenty of single beers, but the process to get them was unpleasant. I chose twelve different cans and thought it would be a quick checkout. The lines were horribly long and employees so slow. When I got to the front, the cashier struggled to find almost all of the different beers in the system, with some ringing up as 6 or 12 packs, while she couldnt find others. Ill be trying other stores for trying unique beer in the future.

Came for a job interview and was seriously impressed with their wide variety and selection of all things booze and they have a humidor so big you can walk in and choose your cigar of choice. Even if I dont get the job, I will be back as a loyal customer.😂

I always have a good experience here. There are plenty of staff around to assist since it might seem overwhelming. The cashiers are always awesome here. There were long lines of course due to it being Thanksgiving eve. I was waiting in line and one of the cashiers opened up and she said she could help me. Fantastic!

My go-to place for hard to find liquor at excellent prices! One of the best in terms of selection and variety, even though its one of the smaller stores square footage wise compared to the Tustin and Huntington Beach locations but still great! Picked up another Aberlour Abunadh batch 61 since theyre the only ones to have this batch in stock.

Ive been going to this Total Wine since 2014 and I dont see that changing anytime soon. First off the employees are very knowledgeable and can help you find that perfect bottle of wine or a top shelf scotch, or anything else you might be looking for.The selection of spirits, wine, and beer is absolutely incredible and I often stumble upon something I would probably not have ever tried but end up loving it and adding to my rotation of our favorite booze.During the COVID-19 crisis these employees have been working tirelessly to keep our collective bars fully stocked during this difficult time. I believe they should get some extra appreciation and a hearty raise for putting themselves at risk so we may all be inebriated.Cheers to the brave and essential employees from this Total Wine.

Great store. Associates are generally friendly and very helpful. Ive managed to always find everything Id been looking for. Its a manageable size and not too overwhelming. It blows BevMo out of the water, which generally has a weaker selection and higher prices. Once thing about total wine with regards to beer. Please have a category based on brewer name instead of style. At least for domestic/craft.

After years of pursuing from your store and being a loyal customer. I recommend your store to my son and his girlfriend. HOWEVER, there experience was nothing but insulting and belittling. My sons Hispanic girlfriend was going to purchase a single bottle of wine and showed Karina (manager)her photo identification. She then asked my son for his identification which he was not purchasing any alcohol and proceeded to tell them that she cannot sell alcohol to them. Even though they are at the legal age.. Being that I was on the phone with them I heard the conversation of how they were treated. I dont think the just because they are a young Hispanic couple they shouldnt be treated any differently. This has left an insulting impression . In turn, Ill make sure to let all our family members, friends and neighbors here in Crystal Cove know that you only serve non-hispanics.

Total Wine is the Home Depot of booze. Great selection, but they move everything around so much its hard to find anything. The computer will say an item is in inventory, but no one can find it. Busy days the staff avoids eye contact. Still, its hard to beat the selection, and on less busy days, the staff is more helpful. A year ago Id give it 5 stars, but lately the beer selection isnt what it used to be, and I swear they change the store layout monthly.

I went here to get a wine for Easter dinner. My brother is a bit of a wine connoisseur, and picking a wine that will impress him can be a daunting task. A gentleman offered to help. Unfortunately I didnt get his name. But I explained the situation and told him how much I wanted to spend. He picked out a wine, and we were in and out in just a few minutes.
