Got here with 30 to spare and announced I had a big return (sewing machine). Also ran into 2 other workers to let them know I had a big return. Everyone said they would have to get a manager but manager didnt come out till closing time. She wasnt nice. She wasnt nice at all. Had a huge attitude so hassle free with receipt is a long shot. Then after snippy return was complete, the lights shut off during my checkout and I couldnt see in the dark to find my coupon or my money. So I didnt get to use my coupon because the 1st coupon I had expired and I couldnt see in the dark to find another nor did I think the manager would give me the 3 seconds it might have taken with lights on to locate. This was such a sad holiday shopping experience that started out very nice.I told 3 workers I had a return and got there with plenty of time to not be digging thru my bag looking for cash in the dark at 10 on the dot (no change for $100 at the end of the night with a $30 bill) . Im not sure why I was given an attitude by this woman.The other staff were nice.The store is a tiny one.

Ive been to this store twice in 3 days. Both times their customer service has been fabulous. The employees have been friendly, helpful, and clearly going out of their way to make my shopping experience great.

Very low staffed.Waited roughly 15-20 minutes just to check out. Staff was cutting fabric- and the line was very long there too. Only 2 workers in the whole store, and they weren’t the nicest either.Lots of attitude

Customer service is bad. I went to pick up and asked my name. I told my first name and showed the pick up email to the lady by the door. She looked for awhile and couldn’t find it. We also looked for it. Other lady at the counter asked for the last name. When I said my last name and they started to sound like it’s my fault I didn’t say my last name. They forgot that they placed them according to customer’s last name.How the hell I would know that.I told them you ask my name so I told my first name. They simply could have asked last name or full name or check order number!!! I showed pickup email to the lady so she see all the information.Bad customer service. Rude to good customers!!! Hire nice and smart people to work because Joanna has good materials.First time buyer and would never buy or recommend here!!!

Easy In. Easy Out. This Joanns limits guests to 10 at a time. Social distancing outside - waiting line is in 6 foot increments. Once inside fabric and some supplies are rationed and rationing seems to be different week to week. Two weeks ago I could purchase 5 yards. This week I was only allowed 2 yards. Go figure. But generally speaking, you can get basics - most of the time. Sometimes, they even answer the phone and you can ask if they have what you are looking for!

Good store, helpful staff, and reasonable prices. You should go on a sale day if youre looking for something specific because sometimes it can be not *that* budget efficient but other then that its great!

Even with the small size of the store and limited parking we still had a good time shopping here. The staff was friendly and the unisex bathrooms and the positive - vibe signs in them were very forward thinking, in my opinion. Worth a look.

Its first day of November. I try to get something here this afternoon. The manager is not too polite and patient. Walking around and rest of stuff is working hard. I guess she wants everyone knows she is the boss here. 😡

Great fabrics...great Store

This store is a small version and is limited to only fabric, not the supplies and items that are advertised. Also, customer service at this store could be vastly improved (this statement is based on several visits to this locations)

What a fun store! Lots of nooks n crannies to look through. Id recommend even for a home hobbyist too; glues, tools, self heal mats. Im no expert but a nice selection of sewing machines too. Good selection of fabric bolts and pre-cut quilting squares. We were able to match fabric purchased from another store, handy if you need more for your project. Bulk sales savings on thread when we visited. Also, a good selection of crochet and knitting supplies; tools and yarn, etc. We found colors different sizes and specials too. No reflection on staff but AC was out store was a shade toasty. Overall a couple questions and staff was very helpful. So important to have a brick n mortar store, convenience and quick selection matched with fair pricing.

New store is clean and bright, and Ill figure out the layout soon. But its much smaller and theyve eliminated a lot of items, and scaled down the fabric section so theres much less to choose from. That makes me sad!

I like this store and go often. It may be smaller then other Joann stores, but they pretty much carry all the fabric at the other locations and often more. This location is more focused on fabric and not so much about the craft items or holiday decor. Dont get me wrong, they do carry those items too, just not to the degree the bigger stores do.

Friendly and helpful service. You will find most all your sewing and crafting supplies available in this store. Plenty of inspiration. Classes and demonstrations are offered. They also offer online shopping. Great coupons and sales going on all the time.

Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts is clean, organized, and has reasonable prices. The people there are very friendly and helpful. You can always expect a great experience at Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts. Except theres this one wallflower and the next time you go she will probably still be there. The big negative is that my teenage daughter spends every cent that she always there and I really hope it closes soon.

Definitely one of my dear wifes favorite playrooms. Being that she loves to sew, and does rather well at that I might add, she is like a kid in a toy store. Most times she drives herself there, but every once in a while when Im driving she asks me to stop by there. Well, I already know what that means, I get my cell phone and find ways to entertain myself, because we are going to be there for a good while.

This location has everything you need for app sewing and craft projects. I will continue to use this location even knowing it is a few more miles away from home. The employees knew their stock and were able to discuss projects with you. That is important.

Merchandise: Cloth 4 stars.Customers service: 1 star.Lots of merchandise for cloth. I am unaware of other kinds of merchandise. Pit fall for this store is its lack of staff. Preset number system for cutting cloth was ignored causing confusion as to whose turn it was. Asking questions and help is unfortunately out of the question so forget. I had to roam the store, for longer than than needed because it was an inconvenience to the lady in the cutting tables (only person on the floor) She made it clear to customers, including myself, that we had to wait our turn, which again was very confusing whose turn it was. Plus there was no sense of urgency either. Also Maybe it was lack of proper lighting but the store felt very stuffy to me.

Great for sewing and craft project needs. Great sales be sure to grab the app for coupons. Selection at this store is not as good as some of the bigger joanns in the area (reason for 4 stars) but I always find more than I need there.

This is a smaller Jo-Anns layout, fyi, and has your basic crafts and a pretty good fabric selection. If you have been to the large Jo-Anns then you will know what I mean by this comment . They met my needs today

Th atmosphere could be better. But the diversity and quality is great. You find some things you cant get at Michaels there. But as I said the atmosphere could be better. Every time I go in there I can feel both the employees and some ruder older customers stare me down. Just want to buy some sewing materials without being profiled over it :/

This is my favorite Joann location. It is smaller than the Foothill Ranch location, but every employee is pleasant and helpful! Chris, especially, is very willing to help and just a general nice guy.

Susie helped my daughter and I with a small pillow project. It was my first time shopping here and the experience was made exceptional by Susies knowledge and customer service. My daughter and I felt so great leaving the store with our merch. We’ll be back soon!!

Ugh! So little options on cotton fabric! So frustrating

They had exactly what we needed in a marine vinyl fabric ! A great variety of all types of fabric in all colors. Great store and the clerks very helpful. Every thing for any seamstress.

Its small dont expect to see lots of craft items or fabric. Its close to me so its convenient for threads buttons and fabric. If I want scrapbook or paper craft supplies I travel to Foothill Ranch.

Everyone here is friendly, helpful, and very good natured. They helped me throughout the store, helped me with applying coupons, and were all very nice from start to end of my visit. The store was very neat and clean, too.

There was one cashier at the time I was checking out. It is that time of year you can expect long lines which there was today 12/20/18. The cashier was highly efficient at her job and very helpful considering the long line that really didnt take too long to get thru with her efficiency.

Ive completely given up on the Laguna Hills location due to the extremely rude customer service or lack thereof! I travel out of my way to a further location and also frequent the direct competition instead.

After reading previous reviews,the staff must be completely different. My experience was friendly and helpful. I was searching for a craft projects for my nieces and nephews while they were visiting...and the girl who helped me couldnt have been nicer--she even recommended some kits that were only a $1each!

Great place lots of crafts and fabrics. Hard to find a place to get what you need and you have to see fabric face to bolt which you can here. No buying online and putting it in the closet cause it wasnt what you thought.

I love the fabric selection at this store, as well as the fact that it has a good representation of other crafting areas as well. Everything from trim and ribbon and yarn to paint and jewelry making supplies. The only tricky thing for a rookie is knowing to get your number for the waiting line for the fabric to be cut. Also, PS—it’s not polite etiquette to distract the fabric cutter behind the counter by wandering up to the counter and asking him or her questions while they’re cutting fabric—it seems some people didn’t get the memo. Usually it goes pretty smooth in the line but occasionally you’ll wait a bit to be helped.Also, I highly recommend going through the remnants bin here, if you have crafty kids like me, because you’ll get things they can practice sewing with, at a fraction of the cost.The last time I went in the lady at the register tried to talk me out of buying a particular spool of thread because it didn’t have a barcode tag, and she didn’t want to have to go get one to scan...😂 but usually relatively smooth sailing on the checkout process.

Great place to eat has nice outdoor dining as well as indoor this is the second or third time that Ive been there.

This store is smaller, but has a fairly good inventory. I am very disappointed by the poor customer service provided at the fabric counter staff. I see other customers had had similar issues of discrimination. The staff person was condescending and rude in helping us measure our fabric. I would drive out of my way to go to another location or fabric store.

My sister wanted to make her own Moana costume. We found every frabric she needed and have now decided to make our own costumes for the following Halloweens. There are so many fabric designs and textures to choose from. Staff was super helpful.

There never seems to be enough people working!! Constantly have to wait an extended amount of time for cut counter and register!

This store was so hot and very disorganized and dusty!! Not much of a fabric selection or threads!Go to the foothill ranch location!! That store is huge, like a super store!! and has everything you could ever need and so much of a big variety of fabrics to choose from!!

With brick and mortar fabric stores becoming a dying breed, its nice that JOANNs is stiil around!! This is a nice store, though a bit smaller than others in the area.

Some staff are really great and helpful; others had no idea where items were located, couldnt offer project advice, and begrudgingly went to help search for items after merely pointing and naming a row which turned out to be incorrect.

If you go to this location I hope you dont need to use the bathroom they are DISGUSTING spcially if have children or even if you are just going to wash your hands. This place is good to just get what you need and go,service is good the store is small but you can find variation just make sure you dont stay long enough to visit the bathroom.

Small, not enough choices. The staff are a bunch of uneducated, unprofessional, rude women. To phone, you have to wait through the recording and then for someone to answer. Then, after you ask the question and repeat yourself a few times, they put you on endless hold. Terrible customer service! Dont waste your time at this store. The large JoAnns in Lake Forest is so much better as is Michaels.

Employees didnt seem as knowledgeable as I expect in craft and sewing. They didnt know where items were. I now know they are not the store to go to for paint, clay, or wood project items. Next time I go to Joanns I will choose the Von Karmen location.

If you call them AND someone finally picks up phone theyll put you on hold then disconnect you. Three times in a row. Good luck with your business if you cannot operate something as simple as a phone. Internet says you have what Im looking for but Ill just go buy it elsewhere.
