The lafayette location is far better than my local rural king. Very organized and clean. Always have good service there.

Nice store with fair prices and good selection. Only thing they could improve on is making sure prices are marked. There have been many times their items have no posted price.

My son loves going into this store to see the baby chickens. Usually they have bunnies but not this trip. The employees at this store are so nice and the store is always neat and clean. Cant forget about the free popcorn either!!

The best place ever! You can buy just about anything there. Wonderful selection. Clothes, supplies, firearms, ammunition, tools, candy, everything. Almost like an old fashion general store.

We love coming to rural king and just walk around. My husband does a weekly visit to the gun barn and just talks to the workers for a good bit about lord knows what and will occasionally buy a gun! However lately they aren’t allowed to spend too much time talking so he said he won’t bother stopping in as frequently. Other than that it’s a great place that we love to come and visit!

I have seen this store improve so much and I love it now. The curbside pickup is great. Staff are down to earth and friendly and I appreciate that there always seems to be enough help when you need something heavy loaded or brought from the back. Love the inspirational products and wide selection of animal feeds and meds.

My go-to place for all things associated with rural living. My only source for durable workwear, ever thing from hats to shirts to pants to coats to boots to you name it. Bought a pretty powerful log splitter there too. . .

Love rural king! I love going to see all the baby chicks in the spring. Definitely need more staff to assist all the customers, its the only complaint I have. However I cant blame them for not having enough staff, if more people would go to work all places would be able to handle their customer base.

Got tomato plants and some other gardening things. Everyone here was extremely helpful and just all around good to work with. All the plants they have are in good shape and arent priced really high. I highly recommend checking this place out if your in the lafayette area.

My errand to find some new jeans at good prices and found them here. Sure when u head in it might not look it but they have a very good selection of sizes for jeans for both men/women. After finding the right size I was happy that each Jean was only 9.99 each easily filling up my wardrobe and the need for work. Then getting to the checkout lane I was happy to receive such quick and fast service along with great attitude from one of their employees as she then made sure I was aware of how to get my money back if something went wrong. Certainly give rural king a 5 out of 5 for the day.

So when it comes to their cashiers knowing simple math . Since when do customers have to tell them that there is a big difference between 147 and the actual price of 114.61.Seriously.....

Great place to pick up chicks. For not even $2 you can get a beautiful little companion that will give you eggs when she grows up. If you try doing that at Target theyll drain your bank account on hot yoga and Lululemon, then disappear one night and leave you with 14 stupid plants to take care of all over your house.

They had a mower blade in stock, but I wasnt prepared to buy one that day. The manager set up an online sale where my husband used his credit card, and I was able to leave with that mower blade!

This is one of the best places in town to find pet-maintenance supplies, especially tools and cleaners. (I believe they have the best price on enzyme cleaners in-store or online, for example.) They sell many products of decent quality that give you a lot of value for your money. I like this business a lot, too, because they also welcome and allow your furry child to accompany you on your shopping trip.The staff is always polite and helpful. Very down to earth and treat their customers like a new neighbour they might have just met.

Went to rural king to get some dog food and chicken feed. Stopped by the gun department and saw a pistol and talked to gun department guys about it and wanted to buy it. We went to one of their computers and had to wait for a store manager to come over and sign in or something. But it was a 10-15 minute wait. And when she did over she was literally 10 feet away from the computer to sign in and some one called her on the radio and she turned around and walked away. Once she turned and walked away I told the gun department guy that I was done. Poor customer service.... if you are looking to buy a gun go to four guns where they will actually treat you well.... thats were I went right after this ordeal and brought the same pistol for cheaper and with in 10 minutes I was out of there.

Rural King is a great place to shop or browse. Best prices in town on motor oil and other fluids for a variety of vehicle types.

Needed to replace a mower deck belt. I found the display but it was so disorganized. I spent a good 45 minutes looking for the belt I needed. I left not sure if they had it or not.Overall, I like Rural King.

Real king is a good place if youre looking for farm equipment or chicks hens and chicks or ducks are dog food they have a just about everything you want I give it five stars also

Ive never been to a rural king where I had a bad experience. Never ever. Its a wonderful place where liberals and conservatives alike can come together and love each other. Not sure the last time a liberal was in a rural king, but if they were then I know theyd be loved. Or they wouldnt be, who knows. Just go and buy stuff so they dont close.

Sometimes things are a bit hard to find because theres so much there. The staff is courteous and helpful getting you where you need to go. Theyre also the only ones with a good selection of smoker/grill pellets in stock this time of year.

Minus things being sold an not have stock. This place is amazing! first time ever being in one or that they even where a store was March of 2020.love it!

This place was awesome! I got lots of great deals. From $.25 flip flops to $.39 shirts to $7 bags of pig ears for my dogs! Plus, most of the staff was super nice!

Horrible customer service. Was literally walking around looking for a step stool and hardly anybody on the floor to be willing to help us actually find what we needed.

The worst thing about shopping here is more items than not have no pricing. Its hard to decide whether to buy or not when theres no price tag. And forget finding someone to help. Id you do find someone, the never know anything. Very disappointed. Im probably going to start looking elsewhere for my outdoor needs.

Rural King has just about everything I need. Its the only place I can find the kind of dog I want for my little Dachshund. The old fashion candy is awesome.

Prices are excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is pretty good and theyre got more stuff than youd think a farm and fleet type store would.We get our dogfood here for less than on Chewy. We get our ammo here for less than online.

A lot of people not wearing masks.Called ahead to check if they had any shotgun shells was on hold for 15 minutes and hung up. Called back got right through to gun people and the guy was rude wasnt very helpful and seemed like he was mad I called to ask bout shells. The cashier was nice and friendly.

Rural king is the same as Big R if you are familiar with it. Good for people with large yards or living on a farm. They have clothes, equipment, electrical, and plumbing. It is like a hardware store plus stuff people who farm would need. They also have some basic food supply.

We always see lots of things we like and neat things to have if you like country stuff, which we do! Not everything is country, but its a neat store! They are shopped often, because they were out of both items we were looking for and none in the back room! So on-line shopping here we come!

The rural king had many options of tools. However, they could work on restocking more often.

Checking out is a joke. Every time I go to Rural King, I wait FOREVER to check out. Today was a nightmare. Waited for 10 minutes for someone to do a price check and Im thinking the person doing it got lost. They called out for more cashiers numerous times and no help came. This place has outdated card readers, none friendly staff but only a few, always loose layaways, staff not properly trained, no one knows how to look up layaways, book outdated takes way too long, waiting forever.dont like to stand in line for to long.I really dont know why I keep returning pisses me off

At Rural King there is a large variety of produces at reasonable prices! Lately my fiance and I were struggling to find a wagon wheel to make into a chandelier as a decoration for our wedding. We searched at antique stores, Salvage shops, and big box stores yet we didnt find anything affordable or of quality. But when we went to Rural King, we found a great affordable option that was both clean, of high-quality, and light weight. For now on Im checking Rural King first!

I love this place. I found a really unique bird feeder and some trail mix. Very eclectic mix of practical stuff for the farm. Live chicks, dogs are allowed in the store on a leash. Nice sporting goods dept. Best gun prices in town. Something for everyone!
