We went to the store with three iphones to move data and apps. Fortunately, we were approached by Logan. His customer service skills are amazing. He was very polite and patient. The backup of each phone took several minutes and he asked if I would mind if he helped another customer. I watched as he helped three customer at the same time, never missing a beat. We never felt that we were being ignored and Logan was right there in time to complete the next step in our process. Thank you Logan for your great care.

Better take a half day off of work if you want anything done by these people. Takes an hour to even be acknowledged. Too busy for the amount of staff they have. People express being there 3 hours, people are asleep in the chairs, obviously agitated environment.

Couldnt do a simple screen replacement on wifes iPhone 11 pro-max. Also wifes Instagram started pinging suspicious sign ins after visiting. Ambassador Caff location btw. Also was given silly excuses of not being able to calibrate a screen. It wasnt damage to the mono or anything that complicated. Screen replacement is the most common thing to fix on a phone. Will update if anything else suspicious happens with us.

The good folks at Orchard of Lafayette have never let me down - even when companies like Google try to sabotage my phone! Went in today to have an issue with my business email resolved - the last update by Google designed to “protect me” actually wiped out my business email account and wouldn’t let me set it back up. One of the technicians patiently figured out a work-around and I left with my email intact and updating. This is far from being my first time at the rodeo with having to rely on Orchard to bail me out of problems caused by updates. A major shout-out and thank you to all of you at Orchard of Lafayette.

I can’t even explain how good it felt from the minute I walked through the door and knew that something was different. Great service from the tech at this location, I believe his name is Jeff. He kept me updated on the status of my repair while computer had to be sent off. Overall turnaround was pretty fast, 5 days maybe??? I really felt they made sure my data was safe and I would not lose anything. this defiantly help me keep me calm while being without my work computer. I will go back im sure one day for another repair. but will feel better about going knowing it will be taken care of.

I had been working on breaking my iPhone screen enough to make it to be unusable for a few months. A couple days ago it finally happened. I’ve never actually gotten a phone fixed before. I’d just use them with a cracked screen until it was time for a new one. I went ahead and got this one fixed, and the battery replaced. I called The Orchard the day before I dropped it off, they told me the price and that they had everything they needed to fix it. Brought it in before work, they had it ready to go by lunch. It was a pleasure going into these store today. Mr.Nick originally helped me out but, Mr.Brandon needed to step and help out. Went in to get my iphone 11 screen fixed because it was cracked. There were no other problems with my phone besides the screen prior. After getting my screen repair one of the employees said that he moved my face recognition feature inside my phone when repairing my screen, but because of that it did not work anymore. So instead of fixing it I was told I either had to pay to get it fixed or to not have the feature. ALSO, after the screen was put in my Iphone kept telling me that it could not tell if this was an real apple screen or a 3rd party screen. Which makes me think even though they are apple certified, they still do not use apple screens in their repairs. You could easily go to another screen repair company and get better service.

Terrible experience- do not recommend. Bought a Moshi charger a couple months ago and it stopped working. Brought it in for a replacement but they didn’t have any more. So the employee offered to let me return it for a 10% restocking fee. I commented about paying to restock an item that wouldn’t be placed back in inventory. He said they would use it on the floor. To that I replied that if they could make it work for the floor, could they simply fix the charger for me instead? After about 5 minutes in the back, the same employee came back only to tell me that they could now no longer accept the return at all and I would have to contact Moshi myself about a replacement through their warranty program. Talk about a waste of time, and absolutely no help at all from the Orchard.

Do not recommend. I drove all the way from Baton Rouge for an appointment set up by Apple, only to be told that they did not work by appointment, but by order of reception of devices, including walk-ins. Should remove themselves from Apples service provider list if they will not work effectively as one.Edit (10/8): Contacted them as instructed. Still stand by my previous statements.

I do not recommend this place...I brought my phone in for problems I was having with my screen not responding. The technician told me my phone will have to be restored. I told him that I had almost 10,000 photos mostly of my kids that I didn’t want to lose...He advised me that he was backing up my phone and everything would be back on it..When I picked up my phone the Tech said they changed my screen and everything was working fine...As I was walking out I noticed nothing was on my phone...no contacts, no photos, no music and none of my apps...I brought my phone back in and the tech advised me that there was nothing he could do and I would have to call Apple Care...I was devastated...I left the store and when I got home my screen still was not working properly. I called and spoke to another Tech and come to find out all they did was remove my screen protector. So I lost everything on my phone and they did absolutely nothing to fix it.

Good experience getting my macbook pro repaired during COVID-19, while most APPLE Genius Bars were closed. Work was done well, and they repaired it quickly enough. Communication was a bit slow, but I was bold enough to call them as needed. >>THANKFULLY they offset the required initial payment of $ 99 on some labor charges. They said this was a COVID special, will be phased out soon.

Had my MacBook Pro for over 10 years, so the thought of having to get a new laptop was extremely stressful—like having to let go of an old familiar friend. Mine was so out-of-date, so I had a LOT of questions about what was out there, a MacBook Pro vs. a MacBook Air, storage available, new options, etc. They were very patient with all my questions, gave me comparison quotes with details about what made one better for me than another, showed me samples of the size of the laptops I was considering, gave me the tracking number once purchased, and they were very honest with me about delivery times being relatively long right now. SO pleased with my new MacBook Pro, and thankful for all the expertise in selecting it!

Brought my MBP in for a repair, paid the $99 non-refundable service fee. They told me they could not fix it and I could send to apple or pick it up. Fair enough. I went back and picked it up as apple was too expensive to send it to. Walked out the door, flipped it over and noted that a bunch of my bottom cover screws were missing. This is a very telling service error/oversight. When a tech can not put all of the screws back in a unit, they either lost them or they stole them for another unit. Screws do not vanish into thin air. If they can not put all of the screws back, how much attention to detail are they actually performing on your unit. 0/10, would not deal with again. I can not post with no stars, so they get one.

I was trained as a computer technician in the Navy many years ago. I know enough about computers to be dangerous. These guys come up with tips both hard and software that I never thought of. They provide practical, effective and economical fixes. Before buying new hardware because yours has become outdated and sluggish, check them out.

They may be “Apple authorized”, but certainly nothing like Apple. Apple will mistakingly book your repairs here even though The Orchard does not take appointments. I came in for the appointment that Apple made to readily be told they do not make appointments. It would be “1-3 business days” before they could have a tech look at my computer. They are also not overly concerned about customers. There are several local repair shops that work on Apple products. Pick any other one.If you have an issue with Apple Care, it’s better to just make the drive to Baton Rouge. I

I am so pleased that there is an APPLE store in Lafayette where you can actually walk in and not have an appointment….everyone has been extremely polite and helpful and I gladly paid the $99.00 to compensate for the time that was spent to examine my problem. This is standard in all APPLE stores that I have been to. I was called with updates and estimates as my work progressed and because of their service I will be purchasing a new laptop AND signed up for 5 hours of instruction although I have had an APPLE for years. Dont use these people. They are ripping me off $1500.00. Ordered a Mac laptop with them mid -April. They give me the run around about it being on back order. Then, they refuse to credit my credit card for the charge. And keep telling me a check is in the mail. Apple tells me they NEVER have laptops on back order. Im at the moment working with my credit card company to dispute the charge. These people need to be arrested. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING. DISHONEST!

Go in and see for yourself. It seems to me that most of the negative reviews here are from customers who are upset about things outside of The Orchard’s control. (They obviously have to follow warranty procedures set by Apple, for example.) I have dealt with this store numerous times over the last six years (including getting my brand new iPhone 6 replaced twice through Apple’s warranty years ago). I have always had great service. Don’t let these reviews scare you.Just consider the policies The Orchard has to follow and the number of customers they help daily. You might have to wait your turn, but they will treat your problem like their own as long as they’re working with you.

I wish I could give them no stars! My husband brought his laptop in to see what it would cost to have his broken screen replaced. They told him to sign a document to leave it for the quote and never told him it would cost $100 just to get a quote! Yes it was in the document he signed and he should have read said document but if youre going to charge someone for something like that it should actually be said out loud to make sure the customer is aware of this! We would have never asked them for a quote if we knew it was going to cost that much. $700 for a new screen on a laptop that is already a few years old just doesnt make sense and the people there probably already had an idea of what it would cost when it was dropped off. This is the epitome of poor business practices!! Stop ripping people off! Customers beware!

Was sold a MacBook pro charger. Salesman sold me the wrong one with simply asking what my charger looked like. I went to return it (all intact mind you except cellophane had been removed from box. Inside box ALL IN TACT) I got 90% of my money back. It was stated on the receipt AFTER I PAID. Horrible service. You should explain to your customers the return policys BEFORE they pay.

This store should not even associate itself with apple. The customer service is average. However, the service is atrocious. They do not live up to their word on repair time and shipping time. They can withhold your product as long as two weeks. I would rather drive to Baton Rouge than have to deal with this store again.

If I could rank this place any lower I would. Terrible customer service and they never fixed the problem. The person working the counter was rude and they make you pay upfront for repairs that they dont know if they can fix. Then call you back for more money and still cant fix the problem. Then unwilling to work with me to try and resolve anything. Not to mention they had the computer for over 2 weeks. I would never use this place or reccommend them to anyone.

I went in to get the mousepad on my macbook pro replaced. They temporarily misplaced the new piece and left me waiting for over two weeks. They ultimately were unable to fix my computer and constantly tried to slam me with extra unnecessary fees. Now break is over and my computer is still not fixed. I wish that we had a real Apple store in Lafayette; I would have even been better off going to Doghouse Computers on S College. Im very disappointed in The Orchard and never will be going back-- an utter fail.
