The owner was very courteous. I hadnt studied the web site, shouldve called and made an appointment. Nevertheless he was extremely accommodating. I walk the lot at my leisure he even let me take a test drive. Will definitely be buying one of his great trucks.

I don’t like writing bad reviews, but I feel the need to warn the public of the awful experience I had at this dealership. I have bought used cars before so this isn’t my first time purchasing a used vehicle. I had seen a vehicle in their lot that I was in the market for. I had called the next day to take the vehicle for a test drive. After driving the vehicle I liked it and initiated the process of purchasing a 2013 Ford Explorer. I asked all the necessary questions about the vehicle such as, is it in good condition, is there anything wrong, etc... the dealership (Mike the owner and Tim the service technician) assured me that the vehicle was in good condition. The day I actually signed the paperwork and bought the vehicle, drove it off the lot for 2 miles and check engine light came on, the engine started stuttering and I immediately pulled over and shut the car off and turned it back on. This problem continued for about a month, and after bringing it back to the dealership a handful of times and the dealership assuring me they fixed the problem or gave me excuses as to why my vehicle was having problems, I became frustrated. I finally took it to a trusted mechanic and was told that there was a leak from my gas tank onto my exhaust making my vehicle not drivable and a major hazard!!!! FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH I DROVE THE VEHICLE LIKE THIS! I called Abbott motors immediately to complain and they seemed very defensive that this was not their fault, they had sold me a vehicle in good condition and that I must have done something to cause this, they also reminded me that I did purchase a used vehicle and the I shouldn’t expect it to be in perfect condition..I definitely didn’t expect it to be in new condition but I did expect it to be safe enough for me to drive... bottom line DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY WILL PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK!!!

I think Abbott Motors is a great place to buy your vechile I have bought 2 cars from them and had no problems just the usual that anyone could have at any dealership... and the Service Manager Tim is just the best never had no problem calling him for service to my car like oil change, inspection he was always there for my service needs ... I wanna thank everyone there at ABBOT MOTORS !!!!!!!

I went to look at a Jeep renegade they guy seems nice when I got there to test drive the check engine light was on which is obviously not ok I have owned a Jeep renegade before so I simply asked why it was on ( because it’s on for a reason...) I also had full intentions on purchasing ....well when I asked he said it was “just a sensor “ ..... but why is it on at all ... I was told it would be off the next day not understanding how considering it has to be driven to turn off I believe he meant reset 💁🏽‍♀️ Either way I was told if I don’t want it I can go it had only be 15 mins and I only asked why it was on . Just thought it was something to know if you don’t know about dealers then know they don’t turn you away for inquiries on your purchase

We bought a 2016 Chevy I love it the put new tires on it the day I picked it up I worked with many of them for this car and I feel they worked hard to get us the loan for the car plus gave us a full warranty as long as we Owen the car I had trouble with my wipers they got me right in to fix it then I had another problem and Mikes crew are all out with being sick or family sick so Mike himself called me told me to take it to pep boys so I did he madeeverything so easy sent over my warranty my car was done fast and when I asked price I was told if my warranty didn’t cover it Mike would and now looking to buy a second car nd will go there because they are nice people they don’t just say oh well my shops closed so Thank you Mike and team and Tim is a great guy and with COVID he washes the stuff they touched with cleaner in front of u very good team there thanks again

Bought an 07 hummer w the warranty. After taking it to the shop a few times and them not knowing this issue we brought it to autozone to tell us it’s the alternator. The mechanic put it in and my daughter went on a trip. The car broke down. Had to have it towed back to Abbott motors after costing me $225 for him to tell me everything he did was right. So I bring it to the dealer... the alternator they input was WRONG! Warranty company wanted me to bring it back to them to fix it?? And no one wanted to give me my money back since that should have never happened!! After finally getting someone knowledgeable at the warranty company it is being fixed by the dealer. DONT GO TO THESE GUYS! I have had other issues but this was the last straw!!

Abbott motors took fantastic care of my vehicle for me. I purchased my 2004 RAV4 from them many years ago and it now has well over 200,000 miles on it and it still runs and drives fantastic. I recently had to inspect my Rav and couldnt get the oxygen sensors to clear at another mechanic shop. I took it to Abbott and they handled it immediately and professionally. I have been financially distressed recently and upon inspection found out I needed tires badly. Mike and Tim knew my situation and set me up with 4 used tires that look brand new to me . It is nice to find out that during these tough times that people still care. Thanks Abbott!!

Abbott Motors service department is the BEST!!! Tim, the Service Manager, goes out of his way to help the customer. I have a 2006 PT Cruiser that started having electrical gremlins. All the service lights would come on at the same time, the gauges started spinning round and round. Then, sometimes the car would stall in traffic. Tim and his crew went above and beyond in tracking the gremlin. They checked every wire, every ground and were relentless in their work. I am so pleased to report that a few days later, Tim phoned me. I dreaded to hear we couldnt fix it. Instead, I was thrilled to hear your car is ready! Its been two weeks, and the car is running like new! I have my summer convertible back, and feel like Im 16 years old again, tooling around town and enjoying the hell out of my mobile!Thanks Tim and crew - you guys ROCK!!!!

These guys did an awesome job fixing my car. They got me in first thing in the morning and by early afternoon I was picking it up. My power steering was leaking and they pinpointed the problem and fixed it. Im thankful because its mid winter and I couldnt be without my car. So that same day repair was clutch. Ive had multiple repairs here and the customer service is real good. Highly recommend.

Tim is always great when I bring my husbands truck in for service. He’s very efficient and has repairs done in a timely manner. Let’s face it, cars aren’t built to last and unfortunately repairs need to be made regardless of where you purchased your car from. They do great work and charge less than a bigger dealership. Had a great experience with these guys last week. Called about a truck on Monday and was out the door Thursday. We’re great working around my work schedule and staying later to help me. Answered whatever questions i had. Called and checked on me and the truck couple days later, didn’t pressure me Into buying anything. Never felt like they were just trying to sell me another vehicle.

Tim is extremely helpful! He works with my schedule, is honest about what the problem is with my car and helps me get it fixed in the best way possible. If you are going to buy a vehicle from Abbott motors do not go by their description of the vehicle on their website check everything out very carefully and bring to your own mechanic... I bought a truck at high book value expecting a truck worth 15k the truck had numerous issues... they did attempt to repair the safety problems but would not bring the vehicle up to the advertised description...Tim in service is a good guy but can only repair what Mike authorizes and Mike only authorizes repairs to basically be legal...i guess I cant blame Abbott motors exclusively... I let my guard down trusting a dealer so my mistake....

Got a 2008 Jeep Wrangler from this place and the second day of having it my check engine light came on. Not only that, my brakes were smoking and when I took it to my mechanic he told me that the converter needed to be replaced and that they put too much oil on my brakes and the brakes were literally melting. I bought it to them and I will say that they did fix it without an issue but then three days later my car wouldn’t start & it was just making a clicking sound. Bought it to be fixed they said it was the starter, which I thought it was as well. Replaced the starter and it still won’t start. I am writing this review right now as I’m sitting at the dealership. I’ve been sitting here for three hours waiting and I’m still waiting and nothing. Needless to say I was supposed to be on the road to Georgia yesterday as I’m moving there and this has completely inconvenienced me. I am not a difficult person & I hate writing bed reviews but this was not a good experience at all. I will say, they did address the issues with no problem & were nice but the fact that I just purchased this vehicle & I’ve had this many issues is draining. Horrible experience.

They are very good peoples selling cars but the warranty service is very bad. So think twice, the most important thing, when youre going to buy a used car is the warranty service.

Bought a Mazda a couple of years ago and 4 days later the check engine light comes on. But they didnt fix it because whatever caused it wasnt part of the warranty they gave me, then I was told by the actual owner that if they fixed every problem with the cars they sell they would be out of business, he said that with a smile in his face. next time Ill go to a dealer who checks their cars thoroughly and leave these side dealerships alone because they obviously do not care about the quality of the cars they sell just the exterior look of it

I bought a Jeep in November,since then I have had it in the shop a few times. The last time was a major problem. Let me say none of the issues was because it was a bad car. I bought a 2013 VW Jetta last year at Abbott Motors. I will never go anywhere else to buy a car. The sales lady Julie was great! But Tim in service is the best. Everytime I take the car in for maintenance it is done on time with next to no waiting. Tim just saved me a fortune on tires, and was able to hook me up with a company to replace a cracked windshield. With quality cars and great service I would be a fool to go anywhere else.

Guy I bought my car from was pretty cool. Very nice and straight-forward. The thing with Abbott Motors is they do everything old-school, so its a lot of waiting. Never had an issue with the garage, but this is the only place I have ever been that doesnt have a key box. They have crappy service hours and you have to physically drop your car off during those hours in order to have it serviced. This has caused me to take my business somewhere more convenient for my schedule. Great place if you have a lot of free time to wait around.

Gene in the sales department is a great guy willing to go all out for a customer. He really made me feel comfortable working with this company.The service department was horrible and not easy to work with with and did not provide superior work. A few occasions I had to take my vehicle to another machanic to fix what they said they fixed. Again today, a few months past the warranty date i need another major part replaced they fixed initally. Never again will i use them or recommend them to anyone.

Got a used truck from them and have had nothing but problems. $2000 transmission repair, coil pack went $450 and needed new brake lines and brakes another $400. The truck was only 6 months out of purchase date and had over 100k so no warrenty. Nice guys but buyer beware, they dont do much to their used vehicles they sell. I get it though, the less money you put into a car the more they make.

Im going to be honest as possible because what I dealt with I dont want anyone else dealing with... I went here trying to get a car 2 months ago and the older car salesman was talking to me very nicely and professional over the phone telling me to bring a down payment even a little more and well get down to business so I did bring a down payment, I signed paper works with the finance manager and he said hell let me know the update of the credit acception...two days later he called my house phone talking to my mom saying that I make more than enough money and that Im approved for any car of my choice so my mom let him know what car I had in mind to get and he said I can get any car that I like. I called the salesman to tell him what car I liked and would want to test drive and he said thats fine, well get you in it as soon as you come. Bullshit! When I got there to look around the lot he didnt even give me a chance to look.The finance manager was giving him messages to give to me but didnt have the balls to come and say one word to me... I asked him if I can see the kia car that I saw online that he said I can test drive when I got there he told me all cars on the lot are sold when I overheard him telling a lady with bad credit she might be able to get a chevy cruze with no down payment! Like bullshit. He tried selling me a 2002 old vehicle that wasnt even my idea in mind and after the fact I tried leaving and getting my money back he acted as if he didnt want to give me my hard working money back and was trying to switch things up to get me into the 2002 car. He was rude to my mother, talking back to her with disrespect just because she was stating an opinion since which shes been buying vehicles for years and knows the way car places run, he didnt like that. He had me waste my time when I live far from that town. When other people came to look at cars and asked questions he ignored them unless they looked like they had money. This place is full of lies, greed and patheticness, I even see racism there. His exact words were you wont find a car elsewhere, Ill tell you now! Went to crazy cheap cars in oakfield and put down $2,000 and got a 2011 Nissan altima SR that I love. please dont waste your time going to this place. They are money hungry and dont give a damn about peoples wants/needs. YOU BET MY ASS I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE EVEN IF THEY TRIED GIVING ME A FREE CAR.

Will never go again. I went there just to look at some cars and ending up putting a down payment on a mustang. I was not financed for the loan which is fine with me but its been 3 weeks now and i still havent received my money back! They did a HARD inquiry without telling me. Very shady. Dont deal with them. A friend of mine was ripped off by them too, which I found out about after I applied for credit with them.

Selection isnt too large but the caring and attention you get from the staff at this place makes it worth it.
