We just had our floors replaced by Great Floors....they look FANTASTIC....We worked with Tim and he made it easy, he was very knowledgeable about all the types of flooring which helped us with our decision. They have a great selection but trying to communicate with the sales person to schedule anything is a nightmare. Wont return calls, keep forgetting, Ive had to go in person several times and call a number of times and they still cant be bothered. When we ordered tile from them earlier this year, it took two months to get the order in.

The product and services were exceptional. I believe they underpromised but overdelivered!! Thirteen years ago they installed our wood floors, that we love, and now our countertops. I chose Great Floors to install floors at my second home after they did excellent at my house in Olympia. Initially, my experience was wonderful. The sales staff is knowledgeable, helped me chose vinyl flooring and scheduled my installation very quickly. Thats when things went sideways.The night after my floors were installed, I received a voicemail from the sales person, letting me know that hed seen pictures of some of the baseboards, realized they were not installed correctly and assuring me Great Floors would have someone out to fix this as soon as possible.When I arrived at my home, I was horrified. While the actual floors look acceptable, Great Floors managed to destroy nearly every square inch of molding as they were re-installing it. They forgot and left a toilet sitting in one of my showers. Created gouges in walls all over the house. Left remnants of the old carpet sticking out under borders of the new floors. All in all, a complete disaster.Even though I received multiple in-person, phone and email assurances, it has been a month and Great Floors will not schedule repairs or replacement for the baseboards they destroyed.While the sales team provides good customer service, unfortunately, Great Floors action fall far, far short of reasonable expectations.

The Assistant Manager, Andy Clark, was great to work with. He helped my family find the flooring we needed and he was more than willing to work within my modest budget. All the staff had an extremely upbeat and friendly disposition.There were tons of options at the store, but Andy helped us find the right flooring based on us having young kids and a vague color direction that I had in mind. He was also extremely knowledgeable in the comparison of the products which helped us narrow it down.The store had nearly the entire amount I needed for my home, and they are having the last few boxes transferred from another location for us.I also didnt feel pressured at all to make a purchase and was offered samples to take some time to think it over. Really outstanding service and well be back for home renovations in the future.

Nice enough staff. But when it came to ordering quickly needed backsplash tile, the salesperson first missed the opportunity to have it delivered on the promised date, then when he did finally have it sent he ordered more floor tile. The tile details were given, apparently due diligence wasn’t used to actually READ the message and what was needed. Delayed my kitchen remodel almost three weeks. ugh.

Mary was very helpful at the store with picking out flooring, and the LVP flooring install turned out nice. All the staff in the store are friendly and helpful.However, I am not a fan of the contracted plumbers and their communication. Unfortunately, I had to follow up multiple times with the store so that they got my toilets reinstalled.Again, the floors look nice, but for the money I would have expected the process to be seamless.

We are sitting here with 3/4 of our floors torn up and a lost pallet that may arrive in two months.August 28th and we havent heard a peep, a call text or etc from Great Floors. Still in limbo. Very great experience with great floors. I called because I needed flooring before I sold my house. I didn’t even need to come in. I got connected with Denene and she was very knowledgeable. She sent me lots of options to choose from, she actually sent me so many that I was overwhelmed and I had her pick the best option. Needless to say my house sold in 3 days and the buyers loved the carpet.

I stopped into Great Floors after getting the runaround from Home Depot. Matt McKenna to the rescue. I explained what I was looking for, Luxury Vinyl Plank, for my entire first floor and that it would also be installed on stairs. (This was more problematic than you would expect).He sent me home with a few different planks so I could see how they looked in my home. When I decided to move forward, he was able to beat the quote provided by Home Depot.I was hopeful of a very tight install timeframe and they found a way to make it work. It included Matt having to pick up the special stair-nose pieces in Seattle which I so appreciated.The installers were very nice and other than arriving about 90 minutes after they were supposed to, they worked hard and did a great job. Despite being late, they finished it all in one day.Its been about a month since installation and I love the floors.They look fantastic. The pic of the stairs was prior to them being swept - they had just been installed. Im super happy with the new floors and would recommend Matt and Great Floors to anyone in the market.

Have had good service in the past, however we purchased flooring that has not held up. Have been trying to get situation resolved since Septemeber 2020 and I am starting to feel they are not putting much effort in to fixing this and have many excuses. I thought they were better than this. As of 6/25/21 Great Floors replaced our horrible flooring and I am very happy with it.

Im honestly tired of coming here trying to get things moving forward on projects. They have a great selection of materials to work with... But that doesnt help when people are not wanting to get business done.Ive tried working with 3 different employees and even a manager and cant seem to get anyone to give me a call back on things.This has happened over the past year and a half constant issues. They are friendly to your face and then never call ya back.Everytime I find a new person to work with my hopes are given up when they never return a quote or call.Theyve lost out on a large bathroom remodel and two kitchens, and entire floor on both units of a duplex because they dont know how to follow-up or call back.Do yourself a favor... Find a smaller local company that actually wants work.

My wife and I knew we needed new flooring when we decided to sell our house. We live with three cats and our carpet had been shredded over the years.We called Great Floors. Denene was our sales person and she handled everything for us. We talked to her about our price range and time frame we need for the install. Denene showed us a bunch of samples. Sent someone to our house to measure the square footage of our floor. Set up the install date so the showing of our house was right on schedule.Our experience with Denene and Great Floors was great. I have and will continue to recommend the to everyone who needs new flooring.

Flooring was fine. I was very sick for more than two weeks after visiting their store, after the salesperson bragged about going to Vegas with their group of friends and being annoyed that they had to follow precautions, and said all this while wearing their mask upside down and fussing with it repeatedly. It was literally the only place Ive been since May and only person Ive interacted with outside my strict bubble since September. Very upset. Im still stuck in bed and I still dont have my sense of taste back. Up to this point we were loyal customers and have spent many thousands of dollars there. Not anymore. 😡

I am so impressed with the service I have received from Great Floors, I will be back! My first visit, was with Mary, who helped me pick out some incredible options for re-doing the flooring in my bathrooms in the future. She was knowledgeable and took the time to show me many items in different price ranges and told me the pros and cons of each item, helping me find some products at the best prices. She gave us samples of a few products so we could see how it would look with our paint and cabinets. Now we know how much to save to get it done.My second time in I was helped by Mike who went above and beyond to help me find a remnant of a very large size for an area rug. He was super patient while I looked at each and every roll, explaining to me the materials and quality. When I narrowed it down to just a few, he pulled out a calculator to help me find the best price per square foot without me even asking. He took time out of his own busy day to make sure I received my rug once it was back from being bound, and told me about a variety of underlayment options if it becomes necessary to keep it from sliding. We had no idea where to start, and he gave us many ideas and options. We purchased hardwood and laminate flooring from Great Floors, as well as carpeting. Awful customer service. Wife and I felt as if we were passed around from employee to employee. NONE of them seemed to want to help us. Was looking for LVP for 3500 sq ft house. Awesome selection, but didnt know the difference on quality and price as we were told they are all basically the same... took my business elsewhere.

I had a Good Experience with Great Floors. I am not sure if it depends on who you deal with specifically, but Tim was Awesome! He was open to hear my concerns with both quality and pricing. He was able to suggest something that was in my budget, but gave the high quality look and feel that I wanted. Tim even scheduled the Estimate / Installation in a surprisingly timely manner. The installers (wife and husband duo, Kevin and Melody) were just as amazing! They were quick and thorough and even made corrections without any complaints. Even when I ran into a situation, Tim and the Installers were able to help without any questions! They went above and beyond. I think it boils down to who youre dealing with, as the person who was scheduling the Installers, wasnt the best in the customer service and follow/up department. However, I highly recommend Tim and if you can get the Fabulous Duo that contract with GF, to install the floors, use them!

Great Floors staff greeted us immediately with a friendly smile and immediately got us in touch with the person we needed to speak with. We needed to resolve an issue and the manager was polite, respectful, and even took notes thoughtfully while we spoke. The matter was resolved quickly and all parties felt happy and content with the agreed upon solution. We had a home rebuild after a fire. We found great selection and prices here! We even found the perfect backsplash for the kitchen here! and, tiles for around the fireplace!!! Its so much more than just flooring and they were great help too.

I originally read some negative reviews about Great Floors on another review site. Then as I looked closer on said site I noticed that there were a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews that were hidden from my view.Strange.I thought that I would give Great Floors a chance. Im glad that I did. Tim, my salesperson was the absolute best. I wanted to replace the flooring in my laundry room and powder room. Tim was very patient and walked me through everything. Im not a visual person and Tim took the time to help me visualize how the new flooring would look. Thank you.I had friends and family tell me that the transition to the laundry room, to the powder room, to the hallway would be difficult to make it look right. The installer that Great Floors sent to do the work makes my new flooring look like it originally came with the house.If you want an incredible and satisfying experience I suggest that you ask for Tim Benn at the Lacey, Washington store. I couldnt be happier with my new floor.

Really high prices, 3 times the cost of other flooring stores. I guess thats why they have high pressure sales guys all over like its a car lot on a saturday!!!! Definitely would not recommend!!!

Nightmare experience. Paid $1,000. for two bathrooms linoleum installation. Both toilets were reset crooked, not cleaned up afterwards including wax seal left squished out at base of toilet. I had to hire another contractor to redo both. Floor trim was not replaced as promised in contract. In fact, it was thrown out from one bathroom! Never have heard back from the workers report supposedly submitted to owner of Great Floors. This was anything BUT a Great experience. Very upsetting. Very much a ripoff.

How to lose a sale in 2.3 seconds.We went to Great Floors on Sunday evening to purchase hardwood floors. Sunday is the only time I have to shop. Upon entering the store a sales rep said Were closed. We close at 5. I looked at my cell and it was 4:55, and another sales agent was working with other customers. As I left the agent walked out with lunch bag in hand to his car, apparently he didnt want a customer getting in the way of his time off.Home Depot was up the street. It was open, and the staff wanted to help. The floors were purchased and scheduled for delivery.I would not recommend Great Floors due to the focus of the people there on getting home early vs. actually selling the products they represent.

We bought a vinyl floor from Great Floors for the kitchen, hallway, and living room. It turned out really nice, very durable at an outstanding price. Cant beat the warranty. Came in way under competitors bids.

Costco uses Great Floors for delivery and installation. They did a fantastic job. We love our floors.

The store in Lacey is great in their customer service, very helpful in answering questions and spending time and giving suggestions and individualized attention to each customer when greated upon entering the store without feeling the sales attack approach.

Matt McKenna at Great Floors in Lacey was absolutely amazing and I won’t go anywhere else in the future when we need the rest of our floors done! He personable and caring, listened to exactly what I wanted rather than pushing me toward an expensive product, and he got them into our house on a ridiculously short timeline that I was hoping for but didn’t think was possible. He went above and beyond. The stair nose piece that we needed for our flooring was out of stock and ordering the one that was the same brand/color etc would put us outside of our timeline, so Matt personally color matched the piece to other inventory they had in stock so we didn’t have to wait and it really is a perfect match. His team that did install were professional and did an impeccable job. I couldn’t be happier! I wish I could post photos I want everyone to see how gorgeous they are!

Great prices, but installers left residue on my floors and some spacing left between seems on flooring. Didnt hear from the store after complaint lodged. Probably wont use them again.

I am thrilled with the job that Great Floors did. I dealt with Tina Allen initially when I was dealing directly with a contractor. She was absolutely incredible. When the contractor wasnt able to do the work, I dealt with Rick Graf. He suggested an improvement over how my previous flooring was laid so the new flooring flowed much better. I had the installation team of Paul (the team leader), Alex, Jaacof and Dan. I was shocked at how well they worked together. They completed the floors in my Office, Family Room, Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Room and Hallway in less than 1 day. I have already referred a friend to them.

The installers for carpet and our bathroom floors were on time (based on the time window they provided us the day before) and extremely hard workers!! We had a tight timeline after buying a house and they got it done for us so we could move in with new floors! They were to install living Room, family Room, bedroom and closet with new carpeting and also moved furniture which we paid extra for. workmen came in and were upset that they had to move furniture, took an entire day to install carpeting, did a very poor job and spent most of the time on the cell phone talking about upcomming vacation. had to have company come back and fix errors, they also sent back the original workmen to fix a poorly sealed seam in the middle of the carpeting. Workman was very unhappy and did a very very poor job. Would not recommend this organization to install carpeting to anyone. Satisfaction with this organization would be a 0.

I value follow through. As a business, if you say you are going to return a call, do it. Especially if its to confirm an arrival time. As a person who works M-F, it costs me time or resources to wait at my home for an appointment... not knowing if you are going to show or not.

Originally very helpful with product and arranging for installation. Minor issues with carpet after that would eventually be a 1-2 hour fix. However, after we paid the bill, it took more than 8 months and often more that several visits and calls a week to get the 1-2 hour touch up to complete the install and another 6 months to get final invoice. In hind sight would never use them again.

Great service. Easy and knowledgeable. Went in Monday to pre shop w/o the wife. Came back with the wife Friday and we bought our flooring. That’s easy. Ask for Matt McKenna.

We walked in saw two guys at different desks looking at their cell phones, not once did they look up to greet my family. Took a few minutes before someone finally greeted us, not even the guys 8ft away. There was one guy actively helping customers and would check on us like a waitress, nice guy. But with all the other lazy employees, poor customer service and unfriendly vibe I couldnt take it anymore and left. Will not be going back nor will I recommend them.

Our salesman Jonathan was knowledgeable and informative about the product we bought and the installation. We are very happy with the vinyl plank flooring . They have a beautiful selection of flooring the best we have seen anywhere.

This place is terrible. 3 months later still trying to get flooring installed because the salesperson (Matt) never got back to us after we drove there at least 10 times. Then he tried to get more money from us, Also told us someone else broke tiles we purchased which wasn’t true. Criminal at best.

Matt McKenna provided great service and found us just the right flooring for each of our rooms. He accommodated our building schedule, room were measured and carpet installed when requested. I will be back again to complete the next phase of our project. Great Work!

I have made a few purchases from Great Floors in Lacey. When my wife and I first came in, we didnt know what we wanted, where we wanted it or how we wanted to have it installed. Lucky for us, Matt McKenna (a salesmen there) helped us through the process. Matt gave us the space to figure out what we wanted while honestly answering questions. He doesnt try to push you into a quick sale or into unnecessary/more expensive products. We decided to install ourselves, and Matt (who is former professional flooring installer) is great at answering questions for DIYers, even-though Great Floors makes no money on this. Matt never trys to feed me a bunch of salesmen nonsense.I also had great experiences when picking up orders from the warehouse. Jim is always polite and helpful. This makes a big difference if you have experienced warehouse guys at other places who dont think it is their job to act like a professional and help customers.Ill be going back to Great Floors as long as they hire people like Jim and Matt.

POOR POOR SERVICE!!!!!! Nothing about this business impressed us at all. They have lost a customer. This has been the worst shopping experience ever. When we first ordered the flooring we were told 3-5 days and we could pick it up. No call and no follow up from our sales person Denene to lets us know it was not going to be in. We found out when we called to schedule a pickup time. We were then given some story about the sales person not knowing about the order time taking longer – that’s your JOB!! Then when we called again about a pickup, for the second time, we are then told the “mill “ was to blame for the order not being there and we would have the flooring next week. THREE WEEKS LATER we call again to see if we can pick up our flooring and only part of it is there because “someone” delivery the remaining to another store. NEVER ONCE did the sales person EVER call to explain anything to us about it being late, lack follow up or even apologize. POOR POOR SERVICE!!!!!! I wouldn’t refer anyone here!!

Loved my sales person Pat Ward, but Office coordination and support is unbelievable. No one knows how to respond to anything. Purchased with my credit card about 1 year ago. Just checked my credit and they have a collection against me. how? IDK never had credit there never asked for credit. Now everybody is IDK We will call you back!!! Waiting......

My wife and I stopped at great floors to check on flooring for our kitchen. we picked out the flooring we wanted. he said he would send someone out to do the measurements. the person he sent had nothing to do with the installation. they called back the next day and gave me a quote for tearing out the old floor and installing the new one. I accepted it. when the contractors got there they said they couldnt take out the old floor. I told them to go ahead and do it their way. they layed plywood down and put the tile over it. they did a good job but I was way over charged and not what we thought we were having done. we will not be going there again!
