Tried calling ahead today because of some strange words on their website about some locations not having walk up service due to Covid. I was only on the website because I dont know how any of this works as far as buying a couple good tanks and filling them for an emergency winter heater. So a lot of my frustration today is because of their website, which is linked to from their Google Maps entry here.So I called the 866 number prominent in their website, took 10 minutes to get someone in another state who didnt know more than I did as to which were open for walk ups. Called the local number on Google Maps and that person was not onsite either. She put me on hold and called someone on site, who didnt answer.Id say this company appears to be geared up to fill large whole-house propane tanks in the country, and maybe they dont really care as much about refilling small #20 pounders or selling #20 tanks to people. Their website even says to go to Blue Rhino, so Im figuring maybe thats a subsidiary?? Anyway I emailed them, so well see if Monday after work will happen, but Im thinking this might not work out.

Poorly managed company. Talked to 4 different people to set up an appt to get tank filled. Tech came out and said tank was full but pilot light wouldn’t light. Had to set up service call. Tried to charge me 90 dollars for rented tank. After figured that out it was a stuck valve. Had to reset up delivery of gas. Was told Friday and didn’t show. Told me be there Monday. Didn’t show. Said delivery was on system for Wednesday. On Tuesday they called to ask where I was they were ready to deliver. Found out they work from all over southeast. They have no idea what they are doing. Heather was really ugly on phone when I tried to sort this all out. Poor poor customer service. When I did get gas delivered was told I had a leak. Another service call to set up. First available was 3 weeks away. Only reason I gave one star was because it wouldn’t let me give zero.

These guys are the best. I am new to the country, and was not having good luck with propane companies. But when I switched to Ferrell it was like a breath of fresh air. They are prompt and professional. Great experience. So glad I found them.

Love that you can reserve your winter propane at summer prices! Saved us about 40% off of last years heating bill from a different supplier. Also wonderful customer service over the phone.

Arrived at 8:00, which is on their website and front door, but they don’t open till 8:15. Completed paperwork to have 3 tanks filled or exchanged. Was sent next door to where no one is at wasting another 10 minutes of my day. Now I must take time out to go back and retrieve my, hopefully, filled tanks.

Very professional . Arrived before set time and completed in a timely manner . Would recommend to anyone needing propane services.

I have used Ferrellgas for several years and never been scammed before, but I called them and paid my bill in full, and gave them an advance payment and asked for a fillup. They fiddled around and I had to heat my house with electric heaters for 4 days. I am 76 years old and have the care of a young man who is down syndromed, retired and on a limited income They never told me that they were not giving me a fillup on the original prices right around $ 2.25 per gal. They came out filled my 500 gal tank with 400 gallons and left me a bill for $1139.14 stating that the price that day was $2.81900 per gal. I got a letter 2 days later from Chiles Propane gas for $ 2.12 per gallon. I am very upset that I as a senior citizen was not treated with proper care, A simple notification of the proper cost would have been a big help and I could have gotten 150 gals, and maybe been able to pay this bill, now I am in trouble.
