I am disappointed with my visit today. I used to live nearby and loved this place. Today I was in the area and opted to stop by for Raw beans(Peruvian). They were disgusting. mixed with a few kernels of Maiz, pinto beans and not to mention the beans were so old they even had roots sprouting. I very seldom put Negative remarks but today was so disappointing.

Great place for asada! Tender meat that has been well trimmed. I like that they weigh the meat unprepared, then add the marinade and onions after. Little things like that add up in my book.

This place is the bomb! freshest meat in town... And if they dont have the cut you want the butcher will cut it for you

There meat is always fresh and they will cut the meat to your liking. And the place smell clean, if this meat market smells clean than there meat is fresh and clean unlike other meat market that smells.

Stopped in on the way home. It was crowded at the meat department which is a good sign. Got 2 lbs of carne asada which they cut right there. The butcher had serious knife skills. The meat was freash and grilled wonderfully. Its obviously a neighborhood go to place because everyone seemed to know victor. This is a great find

Best meat market ever!!!!! Even better than a meat market i went to, thats now ranked #2, while traveling in Spain. The meat here is pure and well get even the skinniest fool ripped if he take enough intake. If your around the L.A., there is no excuse, dispite traffic, to not come here and buy the meat here. The service is also flawless with every since butcher being a highly professional and percise cutter. They are Meat Gods as far as I am concerned!!! If your lucky and they are in the mood, they will put on a bad ass knife tossing show.
