I spent a bunch on a custom build, but it came all jacked up with parts just randomly placed and forgot. I called TECH2U and instantly connected with a motivated tech that rearranged my fan configuration, installed new RAM, and did a awesome job with wire consolidation. I took my laptop in to hopefully get all the files restored - it was beyond hope. The tech spent more than 15 minutes diagnosing the problem. There was no charge. He was informative and knowledgeable and patient with my lack of knowledge. I would highly recommend this service. Several years ago they worked on my old laptop and brought it back to life!

Fixed our laptop in super fast time with great communication throughout the process. Laptop now works and looks like new! Much better option than Best Buy who will just tell you to trash it and buy a new one!

They offer free diagnosis, which is awesome, along with free remote service up to the point of repair.I’ve had a laptop serviced in-store by them and have had remote service done as well. Both times I felt like I got great service, for a fair price.During my remote service, in fact I did not pay anything as they diagnosed the problem for free and suggested a fix I could try myself for free or offered to do roughly the same action (but more thorough) for their remote service fee. I went with free and the tech was honest about it probably being fine to go that route.Your mileage may vary but I really appreciated not being force-fed unnecessary upsells.Highly recommend and will definitely call again next time I need help.

I called my local TECH 2 You for help in that I was unable to send or receive any emails. The local contact understood the situation and problem and said that I would be contacted by phone for needed assistance. The phone call came and Evan was the tech that I had the pleasure with which to work. I explained my situation and he asked for permission from me to give him control of my computer. Once done, he said her would work on the problem from his end. Later, he called back and said that he had discovered the problem which was mainly an AT&T problem. He was able to get it straightened out and put my computer back to 100% operation. He explain the problems he had encountered and they were in terms I could understand. Evan is a true professional and an outstanding representation for TECH 2 You. I have since told others of my problem and the wonderful work of Evan and TECH 2 You which he represents. I strongly recommend those having computer problems that they cant figure out or solve to contact TECH 2 You and I feel that they will be as pleased with the results as I. Also, I felt the charge for the service, getting my computer back to sending and receiving emails, was very reasonable. I had a very difficult problem with an unresponsive printer, evidently unable to get it online, it wouldnt print or scan. It took many hours to solve both problems. I think in all, I had 5-6 techs work on it. All were professional, able to explain the problems they encountered and most of all patient, with both the problem and the customer (me). Especially Tony, on the problem more than the others, exercised the most patience and finally got the entire system functioning as it should. This is my third experience with Tech2U. My tech was awesome! We allowed access to our computer remotely and he diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. I trusted that they knew how to fix the problem and got it done. Jared and all the guys there are awesome and worked really hard on my build. Even when Tech 2u struggled with replicating issues and they could have returned my build, they went above and beyond to get extra eyes on the issues I had and for no extra charge. They also were able to send somebody out to my place to work on my build by hand and even take it to the shop for further work at a later time and it was all included in my one low rate. I’d Highly, highly recommend Tech 2u if you’re in San Diego, they’re the only ones I’d bring my PC to for work in the future. All my issues have totally been resolved.

Im not a tech kinda guy so I had terrible explaining what was wrong. Tony, on the other hand had the ability to translate my gibberish and fix whatever it was. He was also very polite. Ive been a remote member for years. A good part of last year the customer service was not what I was used to. Communications were difficult or just not happening. When scheduled for remote service I was always called at the last minute of my window appointment. A number of times I saw no one working on my computer. Also the tech guys did not call me back as promised when the work was finished.My last remote service was with Tony White for the first time. It was a Sunday which I found out was a good day for remote service. I let Tony know how dissatisfied I was as a remote member. He took Excellent care of me and my computer needs. I felt relieved and happy at the end of the session. Tony was very very good about calling me back when he needed to a few times on that Sunday. Tech2u was so helpful as they stirred us through our new laptop and my son’s storage issue.They first did a no charge diagnosis. Actually this is all we needed so I didn’t need to get the laptop fixed. They did give me an alternative to deleting games my son wasn’t using to free up space. The mentioned that we could have then exchange to drive with a larger one. It turned out we didn’t need it. They have repaired our old laptop about a year ago. I have appreciated the full-bore effort exhibited by the techs. I am somewhat frustrated by the go to the end of the line practice after each session when it turns out problem not fixed. Seems to me customer should see final resolution before losing place in line. Customers entering line should understand if service is delayed while previous customers are made whole before new projects are undertaken.

Took in my 2012 MacBook Pro and they did a phenomenal job! They definitely have great customer service and were always very responsive. My service was with Mathew, he explained things thoroughly and did a great job.

The Tech2U team were patient and knew exactly what was needed to resolve the problem on my computer. This is the second time I used them. In June, my computer crashed and the tech helped get my new computer going plus salvaged files from my old hard drive. This time, I got scammed by someone saying my Amazon account had been compromised. That scared me. But Tech2U did a diagnostic check and fortunately there was no compromise. The tech updated out of date programs and added anti-virus software. I am so grateful!

They have helped me twice. The first time they were able to swiftly get me back into my computer after Windows 10 refused to accept my PIN, password, face image, and fingerprint, for what seemed a very reasonable price. The second time they called me back at the time stated, but I had in the meantime solved the problem so no longer needed their services.

I was told it would cost a shocking $240+ just swap out a friggin cpu cooler!!! The employee gave me a bunch of hilarious reasons for such an estimate and subsequently I took my money elsewhere.

I came in with a 2016 Asus gaming rig with a 1080. I had just started learning via youtube during the pandemic, and curiosity killed the cat, or motherboard this time.Jonathan helped me get the computer in line, due to the COVID-19 emergency I was lucky they were even open. The building was following all protocol. I came in at the height of the curve, so I would have to wait a long time as many people were starting working from home during the worst of the worst.When my computer was up, they immediately knew the Motherboard was unsalvageable, the same part I suspected, and it appeared to have been damaged beyond repair, so they ordered a new one, and when that did not work they got a really nice Fatal1ty mobo by ASRock that even had dual m.2. They did not charge me extra even though they had to order another board. Due to the Asus rig featuring a proprietary frontal audio/usb/power (i think), they change the case. I decided to have them place the computer into their supply of Fractal Design case that has a modern design without looking plain, and its glass side and easy sliding open mechanisms are great for the enthusiast in me. The cords are fit snugly in, and cable management was a factor, so it looks safe and practical looking in the glass side of the case.Overall they worked hard during the height of a worldwide pandemic to fix my education/work/gaming rig and it even has better ventilation due to their choice in cases they recomend. Airflow is amazing, with fps display software showing at least 60 fps on all my steam games including DMC5 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Ive realized through them and their hard work that even an i7 from 2016 still should and does work great for learning, research, work and gaming, and that a gtx1080 is still a beast on some of the best games. I got a machine more solid than the one I brought in.The repair was amazing and I could count on all the employees and Jonathan to explain things to me. Not once was I patronized. The team at Tech2U is really a dream team if you have an issue with a pc.

I had previously been to Fry’s Electronics where the teenager just shrugs at you, and here at Tech2U, David kindly educated me on what the trouble was with my faulty laptop power cord! Did not charge for a small replacement part they had from the “Used Box” in the back of the shop, which you do not see very often. Will definitely return for any future issues.

I went to the Tech2You located near big lots in La Mesa, I was having issues with my custom built desktop. I had to wait for them to just tell me it would be 200 dollars just for the labor, then another 200 for a new motherboard when the current motherboard I own is 130 on amazon. I took my pc home and was able to resolve the issue in minutes, turns out I just needed to install the drivers. It’s unbelievable that they almost charged me $400 for a unnecessary fix, making me wait days just to tell me I needed new parts that were not necessary. I won’t being my computer or any other electronic devices here again!
