I just want to say I came in yesterday with my friend and her two kids and the store employee David went above and beyond for us. After spending two hours in the store trying to shop and juggle two kids we got to the register and had problems with my friends bank card so we weren’t able to buy everything and David stood by and helped us go through the merchandise in the cart and decide what was a necessary. Which took another 30 minutes which he was so calm and helpful. I will definitely be coming back!

I am recovering from a fractured ankle and havent been able to shop in the store for quite a while. I really appreciate how you had the battery carts on the first level for my use. I also appreciate the kindness of the cashier who helped me to better understand the Target app. Its even better to know that you have such awesome security and loss prevention in your store. Some really shady people come into your store, and its refreshing to know that you are on top of these issues.

Clean, orderly store with competitive prices. I can always find the right section of a target ... such as bath or kitchen or pharmacy... Got to love the Target brand!

Grossmont location is always clean and tidy. Security and whoever works the front always greets me and is very welcoming. It can be hard to locate a store employee at times (most Targets are because theyre huge) but once you find one, theyre extremely helpful. Grateful this location is so close to my home.

Everyone was pretty nice and friendly. I went in for a return and walked out with a coupon for linking my debit checking account with target. The manager and cashier were super 👌

I came here for the 1st time. I brought my service dog. I was about to begin shopping and then I was approached by a store employee that stopped me and said excise me maam, just to let you know for next time- pets are not allowed in the storeI replied why would you assume he is a petShe responded well, just for next time- pets are not allowed in and she walked away.I did not shop here and never will.I took my dog and my wallet to Wal-Mart up the street where they are welcome.@Target- train your employees about the AMA.

I don’t even know where to start with this!! Lindsey, who I believe is the manager, was nice and patient with me during the short moment I spent talking to her. I was also having trouble with some stuff and Karmen was so helpful. He made my day and whenever I needed help, he was efficient. Would definitely come again!!

I used the app to make sure the things I wanted were there, and they were. That was excellent. Also, Target has employees cleaning shopping carts and the self check-out registers after each use. That is wonderful and great work during the pandemic. Thank you for keeping everybody safe.

This store is always clean and even when busy it doesnt feel crowded. Im able to get in and out without any trouble. Sometimes I use the online order/store pickup when Im pressed for time and its much quicker than some other major retailers. Highly recommend it.

I cannot get over how incredibly nice the Customer Service staff are at this target just super friendly and helpful officially my favorite target store!!Especially a girl named Alex at the Customer Service center, she went out of her way to help me with an item I was trying to get calling a few stores and being put on hold for me, And while eating I had a lovely conversation with Allison and the manager there is also so nice I did not get her name! also I check out another lovely staff member helped me with baby formula prices!

I have been looking for a Nintendo Switch console for my daughter’s birthday for weeks. Each morning, I call the electronics department and get an update. When David is working, it never rings more than three times and I am greeting in the most kind and friendly manner. On the days that Davis is not there, the phone rings and rings and sometimes I am hung up on. The personnel are unkind and seemed annoyed that I have called. David is like a breath of fresh air when he answers and his knowledge of the electronics dept. shows. I would have stopped calling this dept., if it weren’t for his kindness. Someone give this young man a raise or promotion! He stands out from all of the rest. Thanks again David and I hope to be able to thank you in person one day!

This visit was a pleasant experience. Everything was organized and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, the store was completely stocked and had everything I needed.

I purchased $385 worth of merchandise online. I had to return 3 items ($65) because they didnt fit. When I went to return the items in store, I was told the money would go on a Target card because I paid partially with a gift card ($215) and $170 on my credit card. They would not give me the option to get the money back on my credit card. This is infuriating that Target is keeping my money when I have met all the return requirements. The return was within 14 days, I had a receipt and returned the items unused. I called to get assistance over the phone and they still wouldnt Help me. The other issue I had was that they gave me a used Target card when I returned my items which means someone else has the card information. I know it was used because the employee who gave it to me told me and the lady on the phone confirmed that the card had been previously used.

There was a very sweet, kind, and beautiful young lady named Amber who is in college. She was so sweet to me. The electronic department never picked up my call after she transferred me to them. After, she tried to help me and thank her so much for that. Thank you Amber for the excellent customer service.

I love my Grossmont Target. By and large, the staff is helpful and attentive. The customer service desk is always extremely professional.

Has most of what I need, its usually organized, and fairly priced.My online order and in-store pickup was amazing. It was so convenient because the apps search feature was excellent and made finding each item on my list easily. I didnt know if all school supplies would be out of stock but I was able to check and purchase during a time in which I could not go to the store. Later in the day when I had some free-time, instead of searching for each item, it was ready for me to pick up which saved me a ton of time. Thank you!!

Nice two-level Target with fresh groceries. This store is bright and clean and usually well-organized with shopping zones kept tidy and stocked. The layout is easy to navigate. There is a large bank of cashiers, making checkout relatively quick even when it is busy. Employees are friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Return/guest services counter is on the upper level. Autism friendly and wheelchair accessible. There are escalators and elevators to get you to the different levels. Parking is easy and ample, including a parking structure. For those who remember, this location used to be Bullocks department store.

Target is awesome but the one in Grossmont was not. I was being profiled doing my baby registry and it took out the fun because the employee thought my boyfriend and I was going to steal when I’m five months pregnant and he and I make money from our jobs.......So I’m going complete my registry the one in lemon Grove where they know me and know that I won’t steal.

Tried to call this location 3 separate times. And I might add, at different times of day. And NO ONE ANSWERED any of the times i called. Why have a phone for your customers to call if you wont pick it up??????????????????????????????????????? It would ring for about 5 mins each time then it would disconnect.Im so frustrated.Honestly Im going back to Wal-Mart cuz at the very least a person will pick up the phone when it rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I hope the store manager and the District manger sees this as well. So unprofessional. Get it together Grossmont Target!!!!

I do not normally waste my time doing reviews. I wanted to comment on the girls that were at the customer service return area today before lunch time. I did not catch their names, but they were very friendly and helpful.

Brandon was super sweet and helpful he went out of his way just to help me get what I needed💞 and Lindsey was super sweet as a manager super respectful to all employees definitely coming back for sure. Nicole and Megan were also super nice and respectful made me feel appreciated and took their own time to make me feel like a family.

The customer service was exceptional. She was very friendly and even gave me the things in a bag so my kids wouldn´t see their presents. The store had dim lights and no music which was an amazing experience for my 5 year old with Autism. Thank you!! Definitely coming back to this store more often!!

Not everything is available that I needed, your prices have skyrocketed, the time waiting in line to check out is too long. You have employees, just standing around gabbing. I really dont like it when I cant wonder the store freely because I have to dodge or backtrack to get around carts and baskets that are just lining back walls or aisles waiting for stocking or just sitting.

I was in need of a new car charger for my phone. The clerk helped me choose the one for my phone and was kind and very helpful.He also was friendly and knew the products available for my situation.He stopped what he was doing to assist me. Most times you get someone who just points in a direction and doesnt even move.

I really love target! This one is okay, but often they are out of items. It seems stocking can be an issue for this store.For the most part the employees are friendly and helpful. Sometimes the lines can get long, especially downstairs as they may only have one or two employees at the cash registers. I recommend paying for your items upstairs if you have everything you want and the lines are short.

Target is my favorite store ever

I am always happy when Im done shopping. Stores are clean, well stocked, friendly employees, competitive prices, cartwheel savings and of course my Red Card with 5 % off also. Whats not to love?

If I could do 0 stars I would. I ordered a dresser online because it promised to be ready within two hours due to its availability, two hours came and went and nothing. Called the store as this was a gift for my sister who is new in town, it took 4 calls to the guest services desk. I was disconnected each time from the phone ringing so much and never being picked up. The girl on the phone was incredibly rude and just said call back tomorrow. My sister went into the store and they were even more rude with her. Absolutely horrible service and false advertising. 5 hours later. Im still waiting to be notified with an email or call stating the status of my order.

Employee at electronics section Feb 24 was extremely rude and inconsiderate.

Four missing items and order smelled of cigarette smoke

Love the in-store pickup options but also love the in-store shopping experience at my local location as the employees are super friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious. I appreciate that Im never rushed in the fitting room as I have hand issues that make navigating buttons, etc. a slow process for me. Also, the fitting rooms are so much cleaner than any fitting rooms in similar stores or even other Target locations near me.

Went in for a replacement phone cord. Staff not only took me to where they were located. He offered me different options, cord lengths. Then said I could try it out before I left He plugged it in to assure me it would work. Your staff is incredible!

I can almost always find what Im looking for in the store, and if I cant, I can certainly find it online with quick delivery options, and Target pretty much has everything I need. The Grossmont location is my preferred store, but I always have a great experience in every store I visit.

This target is okay if I need to pop in for one item I need in a hurry. What they’re lacking is in their customer service and checkout process. Glazed over employees who haven’t been properly trained on how to expedite lines moving in slow motion or like I saw tonight, opening another line and instead of grabbing the next customer in line shouting “open over here” and it turned into a free for all. There needs to be more investment in this department or there’s no incentive to come to a store, especially in the day and age of Amazon.

Try the drive up app. I save money by not going in the store and/or when I dont have time for lines and crowds. The drive up experience was easy and fast.

The staff is really friendly and skilled. They help us withall or requirements. I hope that they keep up the good work. There is a large variety of products. All products ensure good quality.

Confusing

This store is my second favorite.I like everything in it. They recently updated the store in every department. Its always organized and clean. The team member are friendly and I like to use my app to get discounts. The bathroom are always clean. They have photo service.

This store is very nice and clean.When using the cartwheel app the map on the app the product is exactly were the app says. All the employees I ran into were very pleasant and very helpful.

The process took at best took 3 minutes. The Associate was friendly and pleasant to talk to. The reason I shop almost exclusively at Target is for the ease of shopping, the layout of the store and the friendly Associates.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered something for pick up and my husband went to go pick it up. They turned him away because it didn’t say the order was ready, it said “order placed”. In that case why not have someone grab it ? Or give an estimated time of when it’ll be available, 5,10, 15 mins. Mind you I am almost at the 2 hour window. He then leaves and when he left I get an email confirmation saying it’s ready for pick up. PLEASE don’t try calling guest services either cause apparently their phones don’t work or must just be there for decoration cause no one answers them.Smh all this for kids medicine, pick up service sucks, might as well go in grab it off the shelf and pay for it. Useless services.

Huge target they have everything Ive ever looked for but a high quality full sized mt. bike. Wasnt really getting my hopes up on that one but i did get everything else i needed for my bike here including a rack for my car for it! I was impressed they had one that was compatible!

Target is always clean and friendly. My Family and I shop there all the time and even go to just walk around most of the time, but end up leaving with stuff we didn’t need.

I loved this place ever since I was little there are huge selections of food, clothes, electronics,and more. The WIFI is good and the bathrooms are clean. Staff are friendly and helpful there.

Thourouly disappointed in Target. Not just this one. The shoe department is a complete disaster. Super disappointed. I have spoke to several people and they have all had the same experience. I was there on a Monday morning and spoke to a woman from out of town visiting her Mother at Grossmont Hospital. She had been there Sunday night, said it was a mess, thought it would be cleaned up Monday morning and it was not. Several employees were straightening displays that had nothing wrong, as if they were avoiding cleaning up the mess. I did not by anything. Even my 2 1/2 year old Grandson said, they have the kids shoes with the big peoples shoes.

Great service (extra help came when needed) great checker! Run way better than Santee store- cleaner and better organized. No wait for check out!
