Boyd Coddington, a well known and respected designer, builder and painter of automobiles, operated a shop in LaHabra Ca. in 80s + 90s. When his body & paint shop was overwhelmed with work, he would often turn for help from local craftsmen who matched his high standards. I was introduced to Freedom Custom Auto Body by Boyd in the 90s and after his passing, have relied on their services for respray, color matching, and insurance collision repair. The laurels of this shop are mostly kept secret among the classic and custom car community. The Arzate family has one of the best body and paint shops in Southern California.
