I was in involved in a hit and run car accident recently, which left me feeling stressed. I contacted CarStar La Habra at a friend’s recommendation. I was a bit hesitant since I live in Costa Mesa and it’s about a 30 mins drive to La Habra. After speaking to Dennis over the phone and feeling comfortable about the process, I brought my car in for an estimate. Dennis and his team coordinated with my insurance company, arranged for a rental car and made the process so easy. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my car; the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. My car looked brand new. I had gone to a handful of auto body shops around the area to get quotes on some major work that needed to be done on the trunk and rear bumper of my Scion xB. It was rear ended and I couldnt swing open the trunk.Huy at Carstar helped me out and was honest about what needed to be done and he included a full breakdown and detailed quote for me to look at after the initial meeting - something other body shops werent doing for me. He even warned me about what could potentially need to be done if they found more issues, but the professionalism and clear explanation were more than enough for me to trust the process.I normally dont write reviews but this was one I needed to put down because it was well deserved and was thrilled with the service. 5 stars all around.

Absolutely wonderful customer service from beginning to end. I needed a car door fixed, and contacted CARSTAR LaHabra based on their stellar Yelp reviews. They were incredibly friendly and professional, both over the phone and in person. It was so helpful that they were able to work with my Farmers insurance directly, and with Enterprise for my car rental. I was quoted 2-3 weeks at another auto body shop, but CARSTAR was able to fix my car in just over a week, and I was provided updates every few days. My car was returned in even better condition, and I truly appreciated the car wash. I would highly recommend CARSTAR La Habra, and would definitely return if I needed any other repairs.

This is the best place to get your car repaired after an accident. I have worked with another body shop in the past and Carstar has been the best hands down.1.They we’re open on the weekend so I could get my estimate without having to take off work.2. They looked at the alignment of my car not just the exterior even though I only had a minor fender bender.3. They answered all of my questions.4. They did a wonderful job fixing my car and even fixed an interior issue that existed prior to my accident.5. They cleaned the interior of my car and exterior when they were finished.6. I was able to drop off my rental to Carstar instead of going to the car rental place first.7. They gave me important updates about the fixing process.

Shaun was my rep and seemed knowledgeable. There was body and suspension damage they fixed. When I got the car back it was making weird noises and brought it back twice. Shaun brought my car to the repair shop next door to have them look at it. That was concerning.Shortly after my wife started driving the car. Drove the other day and still making weird noises. Called Farmers and told them my issue. They indicated that Shaun was let go for similar customer complaints and issues. I understand issues with employees but is not my problem. I want my car fixed. CarStar is my issue.

I took my dodge to car star for some body work and after looking at other shops and reading some reviews I decided to take my car here. At first I was kinda nervous only because i read reviews on other shops about not being on time and bad work. When I got to car star they were fast, friendly, and made sure you understood the process. They told me it would take two weeks to get my car fixed, they would send me text message of the progress on my car and a breakdown of the parts, labor, etc. I loved that! They were on time and the work was great!! If anyone needs work on their car come to car star, they are amazing! Thank you guys for the amazing work!! I’m one very happy customer.

We have been to CARSTAR La Habra 3 times and been very pleased with the service and quality every time! They made it very easy when going through insurance (especially another drivers), and when we came in for an out of pocket repair, they were accommodating on price for us. Car star la Habra restored my car to its original condition! All of the members were very polite and professional. I took my car in the same day I called and the repairs were made soon after. I also appreciated that they were willing to work around my schedule. I cannot vouch for any pricing because my repairs were paid through an insurance claim, however, I can say that they fixed EVERYTHING to perfection!

They did a great job on my car, even buffing out a few extra brush scratches I had from 4 wheeling.My agent Marvin kept me informed every step of the way, and they finished on time. Had my whole front bumper replaced here about an year and a half ago. Just noticed that a whole part of paint was gone and the edge is peeling too. I have famers insurance and they said to have lifetime warranty on their job for farmers insurance customer. So I took my car back there, technician checked it and told me since there is a scratch on the upper part, the lower part might have been affected coz moisture or water might have got inside from there and that’s why the paint was off. So I asked them if it’s a paint quality issue? Coz I’ve owned a few cars, got some minor chips or scratches here or there on front bumper too due to hwy driving, but never seen any paint fall off like this. And they promised their paint job meet or beyond OEM standard. However their technician told me that it’s not a paint quality issue and it’s pretty normal. I know it’s pretty normal for some cheap repair shop, but for CARSTAR it’s normal? Or just excuse? For the upper part, there was a scratch, so I don’t blame them on this. But the whole lower part, a few inches paint were gone without any sign of other damage, they wouldn’t honor any warranty on it. From the peeling edge I can tell the paint seems very thin. I have no knowledge to tell if it was coated correctly but I don’t believe any OEM quality paint job should peel like this, even with minor scratch or dent.

Every employee i dealt with at CARSTAR La Habra made me feel reassured that my car was in good hands. They took care of everything with the insurance. I didnt have to deal with the headaches. I dropped off my damaged car to them, they arranged a ride to the car rental store. I received a discount through them. I was emailed frequently by CARSTAR with the status on the progress of my car. Was also called with updates and when my car was completed, which was much earlier than anticipated. My car looked like new after the repairs. Cleaned inside and out. I am 100% satisfied with the service and how they made me feel. I had run over something that did damage to the protective barrier under my car. It was scrapping on the pavement. Came in on a Wednesday morning and got an estimate and left the car. Got my car on Friday afternoon and paid nearly HALF of my original estimate. These guys are awesome, fast and honest. Was my third time coming here, and obviously I returned because they do an amazing job.

I’m the kind of person who will keep trying different places until I find one I like. This is my first accident where I’ve needed a body shop and my wife suggested CarStar. So I’m done. Anytime I ever need body work I’m coming here. My car was particularly tuff to fix because all the parts needed would have to be ordered one here one there so at the end we had a two inch stack of invoices. All I can Say is Sean is awesome he stayed on top of it and didn’t quit till he had found every part and had my SUV back to brand new again. And here I am like two weeks later sitting in the parking lot cause some stupid sensor on my tire needs to be reset and my ac need to be charged and Sean jumped on it again. Oh and I just showed up, no phone call or appointment.

These guys are great at what they do.I have twice brought a damaged car here.Both times with hassles related to the at fault drivers insurance.Car Stars took charge for me, sapped the insurance mine field and got the job done fast.They do a first class repair too.They are now my one and only go to place for collision repair.

I was in an accident about a year and a half ago and didnt have rental coverage, so I held off on repairs until I could decide what to do. I saw that CARSTAR La Habra offers free 10 day rentals if your damages exceed $599, and they work with most insurances, and I was sold!I called and set an appointment with Todd, who was super helpful in guiding me through the insurance process and setting me up with my rental. He did all the communications with my insurance so I wouldnt have to, all I had to do was provide my insurance and the claim number. The entire drop off procedure took no more than 10 minutes. While I waited for Enterprise to pick me up I saw that he prepped my car by spraying disinfectant (great during COVID!) and put protective covers inside my car on my steering wheel and my seat and floors.Sean did my estimate and was in charge of the repairs on my car, and he was extremely reassuring that my vehicle would come out like new, and Im glad I trusted him, it came out amazing! Between Sean and Kevin (the body man who worked on my car) my car came out just as nice as when I bought it, I couldnt be happier! They worked on getting it done within the short timeline I had and were very communicative during the process so I was aware of what was being done and what was damaged!Finally, when I went to pick up my car, Huy helped me get checked out and instead of having to return my rental to Enterprise, he took my keys and said theyd call the rental place to come pick it up, and I was able to quickly pick up my car and head home! I was thoroughly pleased with my experience here, Ive seen many great reviews and they definitely met and exceeded my expectations.
