I’ve been coming to this pharmacy at this location for over 10 years. I’ve never ever had a problem getting any prescriptions filled for anyone in my household. I’ve also never encountered any rudeness. If you’re polite from the beginning, it will usually be reciprocated in turn. It’s unfortunate so many reviewers on here had different experiences. I can’t figure out why, I get refills every month.
If I could give zero stars I would. The store isn’t bad and most of the staff are nice but it’s the WORST PHARMACY EVER.My husband checked on my prescription then I went back an hour later and checked, nothing. I had to drive to my doc office and get print out to verify my prescription. Then it took another 30 minutes. I understand being understaffed but at some point you have to take accountability and fix the problem. My family will be switching pharmacies.
This is the worst pharmacy EVER!! Do yourself a favor and find some where else to fill your prescriptions. These people have no clue what they are doing. I cant get a prescription filled the day my Dr sends in the order. My husband has been there 3 days in a row to get my prescription and they say its not ready. I called the 1st day to get them and they said it would be ready at 3:55 went by nope not ready. Second day they told him it would be 3 hrs went back still nothing. Got a text yesterday said they were ready again he goes over there they are not. So now he is going back AGAIN . This happens everytime I get a prescription filled there. Unbelievable!!!
Something must have changed recently because their service in the pharmacy dept sucks. It used to be good and had been my pharmacy for years but now considering my pharmacy options for better much better service. They always have long extremely long wait times both inside and at the drive thru. They are always running out of my prescriptions and I have to wait for refills and end up missing meds because they keep having my prescription out of stock. Totally unacceptable and sick and tired of their service.
The worst CVS pharmacy in Kyle. I do not know if they are understaff or what, but they rarely pick up their phone, so do not waste your breath. Prescription mistakenly sent 10 am by doctor to this worst location. By 12 pm I went to cvs in Target kyle and they said it was sent to CVS rail road location and they working on it. CVS staff in Target location wont call them either, cause it is famously known they do not pick up the phone. Now its 4.45 pm I am ready to pick up at drive thru, just to be told that it will take 30 minutes. Are you kidding? It is only 20 pills of 1 medicine and taking 6 hours to work on? Zero star!!!
Every time I call this pharmacy, I’m left on hold for 30 mins or more.
These guys n gals r on top of what ever u need for. I always drive away a happy customer. Two thumbs up from Cindylu
Not my favorite store for sure. Store seems dirty. The sign out front hasn’t worked in years. Which shows me the business doesn’t up keep their stuff. Great location close to I-35.
Always understaffed. Hire some people for the pharmacy area
Walked in to the pharmacy and waited/watched the assistant help 3 customers in the drive thru line that showed up after me. The pharmacist was handling a phone call. Slow and disorganized!
Stay away. This place is so understaffed and cant seem to fill any prescriptions. Wait times are terrible as well.
We went to CVS Kyle to get our second vaccine dose and the woman wouldnt do it because she said she had too many appointments even though no one was there. She was extremely rude about it. Worst CVS experience ever.
In the last 4 to 6 months Medication are never ready when I am told it will be. The Pharmist is very rude. If I could use a different pharmacy I would, but my insurance only covers CVS and this is the closest store to my house and work. Not sure what changed in February of 2021 but that is when it all went to hell.
So many reasons why this CVS gets 1 star. I have never waited on hold for less than 10 minutes. The drive thru is always unbelievably long. They lose prescriptions and insurance information regularly. I am now driving out of my way to go to a pharmacy that doesnt have these issues.
Very friendly! I feel welcomed and appreciated. The staff all offer outstanding Customer Service! I highly recommend this location to anyone.
Poor customer service. I called this morning because I am sick with a UTI and I called to ask if they had the kind of medicine that I need. The lady on the phone said she was the only one there and didn’t have the time to look. It was 8 o’clock in the morning and just opened. How busy could they be? Either they are very understaffed or the worker just didn’t feel like finding it. Isn’t that what a pharmacy is for to help you with the medication?
I purchased a prescription from CVS for delivery to my home 11/13/20 for $103. The med was delivered the following day.The charge went through on 11/18/20.Today there was a charge for $123.50. CVS floor supervisor, Ian, in debt/credit dept admitted they charged me twice but told me the second eharge was still pending in my bank and was going to be deleted I repeated to Ian several times that I could see that the charge had posted. He said that it was because of my bank and I needed to talk them. When I spoke with my bank in the fraud department, they stated that the previous first charge that I agreed to pay on November 13th was being deleted but that this new charge of $123.50 had not been.Apparently CVS decided that they were going to charge me more for the prescription over 2 weeks after I had originally ordered it. Furthermore they were not going to notify me of the fact that they were going to charge thisI am overdrawn in my account because CVS has two charges for one medication I ordered to be delivered to my home one time over 2 weeks ago.I hope that everyone who reads this is smart enough not to give CVS their credit information as they will proceed to charge you twice and charge you more than you originally agreed. At this point I cannot cancel my card as I have paychecks being delivered through it as well as other credits to my account. if I needed to get gasoline at this point I could not do it. If I needed medicine for my child I could not do it. It is all because of CVS and theyre crooked devious thieving nasty lying cheating practices.
I would give less stars if I could. Pharmacy is the worst. They are rude and take way too long. When you have a goodrx coupon they make you wait another “15min” which turns into 30 even though your rx is already done. At Walgreens they just put the info in at the register. Will never shop there again. Also had to use the restroom but it was so gross I thought I was in a bar not a pharmacy. It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years.
Wait time is always super long. Not a single time is it a short stop. Always 30-40 min wait at the drive through
Its unreal how bad this pharmacy is. They lost my prescription. The other still wasnt ready when the doc phoned it in 12 hours earlier. They asked if i could come in the next day. Then i find out they dont accept Tricare (military insurance). Just insane. Will never return. Got much better treatment at Walgreens.
They didnt have all of my medication in stock and have to order the remainder. It will take them 4 days to get it in. Because of the type of medication it is, I cant get a partial fill so I have to wait without my medicine until they get it in stock. Walgreens gets scripts in much faster. This is ridiculous for such a big company.
The people who work here are wonderful, but could whoever owns it PLEASE fully staff the pharmacy? It’s always one or two poor ladies who are crazy busy and the wait is insane. Properly staff the pharmacy!!!
They are always very pleasant and professional to me. Never a bad experience.. Thank You CVS pharmacy.
I normally go to the CVS pharmacy in Kyle. While waiting in that line on this day I was greeted via the intercom then waited 7 minutes before anyone came to the window and I was okay with this. In that time 4 cars had lined up after me. The young woman after realizing they couldnt fill my prescription and that there were 4 cars behind me said shed call the CVS in Buda to see if they could fill it. I said okay how will I know. She said maam there are several cars behind you so I can call you once I find out, give me about an hour.I had just driven from doctors office in Austin with my daughter who had the flu in the car. I said yes there are cars behind me because Ive been waiting the longest so now you want me to go to the back of the line before I can even find out if the CVS in Buda may or may not be able to fill it but I wont know for an about an hour?? Not good enough!! Told her Id like to know now because if CVS cant fill it Id have the doctor call it in to a different pharmacy. My situation: husband was admitted to the hospital two days before and was still in ICU due to complications from the flu, then I got it and was on day two of my experience then my daughter woke up that day with a sore throat. I was trying to act on it quickly so her symptoms wouldnt be as severe. The young woman at pharmacy didnt like that I wanted her to call while I waited. She obviously told the woman pharmacist in Buda the situation because she was was really rude. I dont harbor any ill will because Im a firm believer that God takes care of it all and that whatever goes around comes around. I realize that there was no way of them knowing what I was dealing with but as someone whos worked years in customer service had she just provided me with good service there wouldnt have been any issues at all. I do get to choose where I get my prescriptions from and where I spend my money and that will no longer be CVS.
Well I went to pick up a suspension for my daughter and the guy that gave me the medicine didnt explained the instructions even when I asked him he said read them thats why you have this paper right here. Manager please talk to him. 5188 Kyle center Dr tx 78640 #17606. And is always the same I will need to change of pharmacy.
The longest and slowest line ever to pick up prescriptions.
Went to get a passport photo taken. I read the government requirements online, saw several examples on their site of photos. Thought I would get a decent picture but no. Should have just went somewhere else. The clerk said zero smiling, not even a grin, mouth shut, then she argued with me about taking out my jewelry! I need pliers to take out my tiny hoop septum ring, my earrings were also tiny. She compromised on allowing me to get the picture with my jewelry AFTER I called the passport office and got confirmation it was allowed. But now Im stuck with RBF. FYI, a natural smile is acceptable. And jewelry that does not hide the face, for facial recognition purposes. Tempted to call it a 15$ loss and go get another picture elsewhere.
I wouldnt give this store even a 1 star if I didnt have to. Have been customer intermittently for several years. Am a nurse. Pharmacy is AWFUL. Theyve sold me incorrect meds before. Service quality is inconsistent. They are disorganized and when I presented one of the many errors theyve made to Rachel she replied/argued: I think were competent. Most of us are nursing or med school students.. Fine Rachel. You can patronize each other for your customer base as far as Im concerned. As soon as my transportation issues are resolved Im taking my business back to the 1st St. and Slaughter lane store in south Austin even though theyre much farther away. If Im too sick to drive there Ill go to the hospital.
Pharmacist Weaver went above and beyond today. I have been dealing with severe tooth pain. I had a dentist appointment near the end of the day today, but I didn’t have time to go to the pharmacy in Round Rock because I wanted to watch my nephew’s first basketball game in Kyle. I went to CVS in Kyle after my nephew’s game. It was a little after 8PM, and the pharmacy closes at 9PM. I was hoping I could get my medicine within 15 minutes, but I wasn’t sure since it was so late. Pharmacist Weaver took care of both of my prescriptions in the drive-thru without me even asking. I was so thankful! I never write reviews, but I felt I needed to with this experience because it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. She also gave a great consultation over my new medication. Thank you so much, Pharmacist Weaver!
I’d like to give a better rating but the pharmacy opened late, wasn’t ready when they did open, waiting for registers, and then proceeded to assist the drive through car that just pulled up instead of clearing the 3 folks who has been waiting over 15 min. I will increase my rating if I have a better experience in the future.
All 5 stars are from employees!! So if you want to be treat like trash & disrespect take your prescriptions here. Worst Pharmacy Ever! They continue to fill old prescriptions even when my file in the system show the doctors have updated to a new dosage. They have told me numerous times to have my Doctor change my medication to something else because haven’t had it in stock for over a year, and they do you not know when they will get any more in, or to just go to a different pharmacy all together who has it in stock? (As he had he back to me not even talking to my face) As I asked about my second medication, which was my favorite quote from this jackass Manager we only can fill half of your medication so here you go, and through the slip back at me..Just close this CVS down already
The girl with the curly hair is a sweetheart. I was very hesitant upon asking for her assistance. However, she approached me and asked me what I was looking for! I asked her if she had any sulfur soap in within an instant she snapped her fingers and found it within seconds. I have looked around the other stores but had no luck. She is wonderful and extremely helpful. When we were checking out she asked me if I had any other questions andreally made sure I was okay. You cant get that kind of service anywhere else
Friendly staff, they greet you as walk in. Im always in and out, the staff is knowledgeable on whats on the shelves. And the pharmacy is great, love this CVS
Went to cvs for buy some lotion for my dry and sensitive skin and the girl with name Abbie gave me the best consultant and she help me alot.Thank you!
They are one of the worst pharmacies ever. I am a diabetic and they have left me without test strips, forgotten to put in my prescriptions. They dont contact you if something went wrong with your order. They also cant read the doctors hand writing. I dont know how those people got a job there someone needs to check up on them. They are completely negligent.
I’ve never heard of someone not being able to return something without a recipe because it was a “national brand” in all the time I’ve worked at CVS that’s never came up once, all you need from my knowledge was an ID. So is there something new or ?
I will be calling customer service to tell them about my horrible experience when they open. Twice now have my passport photos been sent back. First was mine second was my daughters. Got rude responses and attitude when I wanted them to retake and issue me refund for the inconvenience. Store manager refused. When another cvs had given me a refund for mine but another wont for my daughters photo being returned. Make sure all practices are happening in all stores !
Worst costumer service ever!!! I tried to use them from the day they opened and they get worse by the day. I complained to my prescription provider and I have gotten a call from the pharmacy manager but have not called him back (trying to call him back at a time they are not so busy). Mainly it is shortness of staff for the volume of business. The staff they have with the exception of Mel and the young man recently hired are rude and act like their pants are on fire so rushed this one staff person has slammed the phone down in my ear numerous times. Tired of them but unfortunately they are close and convenient.
Customer Service sucks!! I will never waste my time at this CVS again. Their staff is rude and the lines are too long. Drive the extra couple miles to Walgreens or HEB.
Went into this pharmacy skeptical on how I would be treated as the reviews prior to me coming were God awful. Because of this, I decided to go inside as I didnt want to have any problems via drive thru. Upon entering to pick up my prescription I was pleasantly surprised as the woman tech, Shardae( I think), was extremely friendly, professional and patient with me. Even when the woman Pharmacist got involved (Maureen) I was blow away with her willingness to take time out of the VERY BUSY store and explain to me what I needed to do and made sure I understood. She exemplified true care towards me and I appreciated that! Both of them were angels and extremely professional. I needed to take it upon myself to write this review so that the next (me) wont feel apprehensive upon entering this CVS location
15 minutes on the phone waiting on pharmacy is unacceptable. The staff is friendly enough but they need more people.
No photo roll developing envelopes and no idea when supplies will be replenished.....
If I could rate less than a star I would. I had to go back to the same pharmacy 4 days in a row for the same prescription. First time they said they never received it from my doctor but somehow received the other my doctor sent. Third, it took them 4 hours to finish one prescription for 3 pills!!! 3!!!!. Now for the second prescription they said it would be available after 3 PM today being 1/15/16. I call at 4:15 asking if it is ready and they tell me they only have half the prescription count. I am over this place and will be going to Buda CVS from now on.
Had questions about the price of one of my prescriptions and the lady acted like it was an inconvenience to check on it for me she actually made a face at me. If you dont like your job find another one! Switching all my prescriptions to the Target CVS.
I keep forgetting how terrible thus CVS is. They never have sake items in stock and are never helpful :-(
Worst customer services ever. They are always short of help. The pharmacist wont get off her A _ _ to help wait on customers. The old pharmacist would.
Pharmacy closes at 8 instead of 9 pm!
Every time I go to a CVS the cashier is always stocking shelves and I have to stand and wait for them to notice me and then walk over.
Always a wait, lines are too long, voicemail indicator lights never work when calling in a prescription to avoid the wait/line.
Went to make a money and they can only accept cash They cannot take the funds from a debit card which is werid
Your right, the bubble is not in the right spot, it should be at 81 and lockheart across from the advance auto parts.
Cant use coupons and they dont allow NFC payments.
Normal CVS with all your needs, but the people here are rude, not the best customer service.
So nice, clean and professional.
Really awful service and long hold time on the phone
There is no CVS Pharmacy at that map location.
This CVS is OK
