I used to love this place… walked in to look at some refreshing beverages and I couldn’t think due to such loud music and partying… By the workers themselves. I love music as much as the next person but this was insane and they tried to turn it into a club. When I made a response about how loud the music was the guy behind the counter said “John Cook doesn’t care as long as there’s no cussing in the music I can turn it up as loud as I want.” I know that John cares about this community and everyone that comes in and out of his store, he treats everyone as a friend… But I saw at least three people leave without any purchases in their hand from coming in and out of that store I assume from the same issues I was having.

I was looking for a small bottle of whiskey for a birthday present. The clerk was reading labels and only offered large bottles before walking away.

The entire staff here is very friendly and seem knowledgeable about the items they stock. Their prices are pretty comparable to other liquor stores.

I think its pretty funny that they have a sign on the door that reads, no mask, no service, no exceptions but I see people in there with their mask down below their nose. Tell me how that works........

Visiting from England last year - 2019 - staying with relatives close by .Super friendly and helpful shop, impressive stock and, unlike here in the UK, plentiful parking . If us Brits are ever again allowed to visit our youngest son again - I will be patronising this shop again .

For the people that give this place a bad rating, you have to understand that this type of work gets some pretty rough characters and the staff puts up with a lot, so give them a break if they aren’t always in the best mood. Most people these days are looking to complain about anything, so go figure that a few have made there way here. Toddy’s is a staple of the Bearden area. It started in a tiny little hole in the wall right down the street until it upgraded to its new location. The staff are friendly and unique in their own ways. It always feels like Cheers in there. I tip my hat to the staff at Toddy’s. Don’t change just because some keyboard warrior is mad because they feel slighted. Toddy’s has always had great prices, great conversation, and great characters!!!!

Their location is their only benefit. Their selection is lacking, and their price points are too high relative to other liquor stores nearby. I recommend going on out to Thunder Road, about three or four miles west, across from Hooters. Its worth the drive.

Long live Toddys. Bearden area package store for decades. Bourbon selection is often quite good, though they have been known to price gouge a bit on highly sought after brands. Great folks who always make me feel welcome when Im there.

Selection was poorly arranged. Staff was unhelpful and gave off the vibe that you were bothering them. Then at checkout the bad service went worse. Its as if they didnt want my money they were rude for no reason when asked if they had gift bags for wine bottles. Then threw a bag in my face when I tried to pay with MST making me run the card instead talked as if it came from a different bank something about they didnt like the way it paid through MST. Funny since machine doesnt even know the difference and the bank processes it the same out of the same account. Fine I can deal with ignorance but the rudeness is unacceptable. Only way Im going back is if I want another up close experience with the uneducated caveman that works there. Because the store, selection, and pricing is nothing special at all Ill give my business to a place that wants my money and can use words to communicate instead of throwing bags around.

Higher than normal prices. Some bottles were marked 3 times retail. Selection was descent.

One of the older employees kicked me out AFTER I got inside the store when the door was open. I drove 20 minutes to get there just because I heard this liquor store was decent. Well, it’s not. I’ll never go there again. What a mean people. Customers to them is just statistics. They are like robots. I wish whoever goes here the best luck dealing with them.

This establishment protects drunken sexual predators. If you are a woman I wouldn’t recommend going. If you have a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, or grandmother I wouldn’t recommend going. Do not support a company that defends heinous acts like this.

We pre-ordered our wine from Toddys for our wedding just a week before the date and it was a great price. The staff were helpful and professional. They had everything ready when they said they would!

When Im looking for good prices on Botta Box chardonnay, this is one of my go to places . . . case price: $13.99 a box = $4.66/bottle. Impossible to beat at newly wined up grocery stores, for sure, and tough to beat at other wine & liquor stores. However, can be short on other products.

The guys that work there are jerks. I go to Langes Kingston Pike, or on the rocks in powell.
