I find staff very friendly. Very eager to help you find what youre looking for and what that means is they have been trained that way. that doesnt happen by accident 35 years and sales Management taught me that. The prices are a little higher than some places but this is not a big chain. I dont find them outrageous or anything its very convenient for me its close to the nail shop which my wife works. Theyre in a part of town that unfortunately they encounter rude and maybe less desirable the people I say this because of addressing one review I said the lady was very rude I doubt that she was rude first. The people that were still shopping since they were probably going to buy $5 worth of stuff might have even been going to steal something because in that part of town they do. In any event its a good business patronize them if its convenient for you and have a great day

Had stopped in to find a large bottle of liquor, the small size of the same brand was more expensive that the large bottle at my regular store. Prices seem to be a bit high on most things.

I found the employees to be dismissive to the point of rudeness. Prices were also too high. The Ez In and Out Wine and Liquor Store @ 2 miles south on Chapman Hwy has much friendlier staff and better prices. More professional all the way around. Finally, the ignorance displayed by employees not wearing masks is inexcusable, especially on the owners part. Perhaps it was bought out, because the owner used to be a decent sort.

Prices were very high. When I tried to purchase what I wanted (basil hayden bourbon), the staff was incredibly persistent that I purchase a terrible product that I did not want. It was a premixed old fashioned bottle. After I purchased he ceded that he would have gotten a sales bonus if I bought the inferior product.Do your research on what you intend to purchase before you come in or you just might get screwed

Extremely satisfied with the overall experience...from the customer service to the pricing and the all around atmosphere. Surely the type of energy that makes you want to come back again!

Superb prices & coolest staff !! They have a VERY GOOD VARIETY to choose from. Always clean too. But traffic is often a prob so getting in & out is often a prob even if parking next door in a shared parking lot.

The lady who works behind the counter was extremely rude to every customer who walked in. She turned the lights off while we were still in shopping and told us we had two minutes to find what we needed and to leave. Someone at her age, I would expect her to show customers a little more respect.

Its a packing house sell nothing but alcohol the gallons leaders pints half a pint beer six pack 12 pack 18 pack 24 in the mini bottle and mad dog wine turning my party like it a lot need to go

For some reason the employees here dont that theres a on pandemic going on because not one of them wears a mask at all nor is there any kind of barrier up to separate them from customers which is negligence at this point and just outright ignorant ! PUT ON A MASK ! I dont want to have to worry about being infected with covid-19 when Im trying to support your business !

Incredible customer service. The owner always has suggestions for pairings, new drinks, and is always so very accommodating. This is the only package store I will frequent in Knoxville if I can manage it! Love these guys and gals!

Men working the counter said they are not wearing masks because the election is over. When I asked if he thought the pandemic was over because the election is over, he agreed. I wont be going back, the only redeeming quality was proximity not price or selection

Excellent selection. Able to get some rare bottles however did pay a premium. Customer service was excellent. Looking forward to returning.

Absolutely one of the best liquor retailers in the county. These guys are highly knowledgeable about the products they sell as well as being extremely courteous in making sure you find what you want in an expeditious manner. It is our go to store whenever we are in South Knoxville and sometimes we just drive over there with the express purpose of visiting their store. Would recommend to anyone.

Will not be returning to this store as I walked in the other day to all 4 employees standing close together without masks on. After seeing me one put a mask on. Although there are two signs on the door mandating customers to where masks (as there should be), the employees seem to think they do not apply. I care about those around me therefore I wear mine. They should too.

First time in there. Reviews said family was friendly and helpful so I came here. No one acknowledged me and when I asked what was a generic of a specific brand the son asked his father if the brand I picked was correct and his father said no yet did not offer a suggestion. I think they were to busy flirting with the girl that was trying to give away samples as you walked in. Had to ask for a receipt for what I did buy. Wont be back.

Being from a different state this liquor store is much larger and has A LOT more brands and types of liquor than i am used to. I found what i wanted but continued to look around. I picked up 3 other kinds of liquor to look at the info on the bottle for future reference. I had only been in the store for about 5 minutes at best when the guy working walked over to me and said are u gonna buy something? I said ya i was just looking at the other stuff you carry. He replied with well if youre buying something you need to do it. I am not ok with you picking up bottles just to look at them! He was very rude and I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy! I will NEVER go back to this store or any stores with this name!

Beware! This store is on our list of stores NOT to shop at for bourbon! Over Priced on sought after and especially on Allocated bottles. I once found an allocated bottle here and they said i had to open it before leaving the store. Im pretty sure that is illegal! Dont waste your time here! I have some video and audio of that visit if you dont believe me. Owner keeps a hoard of PVW for himself while his customers pay more than other stores for allocated and sought after bourbons. Southland made the list on our FB group of WHO NOT TO SHOP AT.

I loved the staff they were super nice to me! I bought a bottle of wine and the glass broke when I uncorked it, after I brought it back they gave me a new one and opened it for me to make sure that wouldnt happen again! They have a great selection as well!

Went in to buy some wine and they had an advertisement in the store that said that 1.5L was $7.99. One of the workers there agreed that it was $7.99. When I went up to buy it the cashier said that it was $13.99. He said that he didnt care if the sign in the store said $7.99 he wasnt going to honor it. When I said that it was false advertisement he said call my lawyer. I will not buy anything there again.

They do not keep their hours. Their listings say they are open until 11pm Mon-sat, but sometimes they close at 10 or earlier. The selection is also lackluster. The reason for the second star is that from my experience the staff is friendly.
