Popped in for some yuletide cheer and get some stocking stuffers. Very helpful staff. Courteous and you actually feel as if they want to help. Glad we stopped here to finish our shopping.

Called asking about a specific liquor, which I know is hard to come by, and the guy on the phone thought it was funny I would even ask that and started laughing. Rude. We had recently moved to Knoxville, and our local family recommended Admiral Wine & Spirits, since it is very close to our new home. We went there several times, we were very friendly, and the (not too friendly) employees saw us, but never registered recognition on subsequent visits. So much for southern hospitality.One day, my husband, who is a bourbon aficionado with quite a collection, asked if they would be getting in a certain boutique bourbon. The answer he got was: We are expecting some in but we hold it for our good customers. WAY TO GO ADMIRAL!!! YOU WILL NEVER HAVE OUR BUSINESS AGA!IN!!! WE ARE NOW GOOD CUSTOMERS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
