Not a great place to unload. Sometimes I’ve been unloaded in 15 minutes, other times it could take hours. Unloading starts at 0900 eastern time, not 0800, and it doesn’t matter how early you get here… they will not start till 0900. No parking either. Show up and untarp and unstrap and wait at the stop sign for them to come get you. Good luck.
Delivered a load of Nichiha cement board here on Friday July 21. Arrived at 0745. I was the first one in line to be unloaded. Was completely untarped and ready by 0810 (receiving hours begin at 0800). Thats when they started loading one of their delivery trucks. Most sensible, well-run building materials companies will load their trucks an hour or two before their receiving hours begin. Not these guys.Workers are slow. At one point there were 4 delivery trucks waiting to be unloaded (3 more after me). The fact that there were delivery trucks backed up so far we were blocking their gate didnt seem to phase them. No sense of urgency whatsoever. They also do this weird thing where one worker rides as a standing passenger on the lift. This causes them to drive even slower! Im sure OSHA would have a cow...
Not a professional approach to work. waited a long time for unloading
Unloading going to low!!!Never come again!
Don’t care if you are unloading or bringing wood in to them they don’t care about no one but there trucks they could load there truck at the end of there day if if was not for independent drivers bring in wood they would not have a job think about that
SUPERIOR PRODUCTS AND THE BEST OUTSIDE REP IN THE BUSINESS !!
The ABSOLUTE WORST lumber yard one has ever visited. The staff lacks integrity, empathy to other peoples time, and has NO CLUE what racial equality is. I recommend no contractor of color do business with this company. Corporate should look into how this place is operated. If they find that there is no problem upon their investigation, then the corporate members of this establishment should be heldaccountable as well and are contributers to the global problem of racial inequality. Contractors of color and Professional Drivers STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
Not the worst place I’ve delivered to, but definitely not the best either. People are pleasant enough, but very slow unloading. I was the only truck here at 1125 and untarpped by 1150. Didn’t get out until a little after 1300. They weren’t on lunch the forklift drivers were just standing around. There is no order or system in place they just do as they please.
I was a passenger of a friend delivering a load here and we were the first to arrive. They kept making excuses why they couldn’t unload yet they were standing around talking. We sat there almost 3 hours waiting to be unloaded and then they lied and wrote on the paperwork that it was wet when it was NOT! This place had poor customer service, no integrity, and an overall unwelcoming and racist vibe towards a person of color. If you have a choice, STAY AWAY from this place! If you are a contractor needing lumber, don’t spend a dime at this place because you’ll be supporting a racist business!
Sucks not a good place to work
One of the worst and most inefficient places Ive EVER been to unload. 2.5hrs here so far and not a single truck unloaded. Im first so I know. They say receiving hours are 9-3 with shutdown for lunch in between. Terrible for a retail lumberyard. Will not come here again. Already after 10am and still not started. Makes no sense to start the weekday off doing what f takes them 3hrs to complete and then take 20min to unload a truck. If you have a choice choose not to come here. THE WORST!
So many negative reviews (almost all customers) and nobody in this circus cares? what happend to the humanity? what a shame
In & out in less than an hour. Receiving begins at 9 am & they started unloading us at 9:20.
Very very slow unloading, first in line and have waited over an hour so far.
Hard to believe they are a functioning business
