Unconscionable. Rent for tank went from $40/year to $250/year, and we have 2 tanks. Tanks used to power generator, so not much consumption. Looking for new supplier. Oh, and no payback for gas in tanks. Thievery at its pernicious worst.

Several calls...No resonse to promised serviceFinally told on call #5 that they were unable to pick up outdated tank because of the size of the truck.

Have tried for seven months to get home service from this company. Person in their office always commits to sending the agreements, etc. but they never do. I had several questions and she said she would call or email responses. Never responded. I thought that this was a reputable company and that is why I wanted to do business with them. However, they apparently dont want to provide service to individual homes. If that is the case, they should just indicate that on their web site and save individuals like me a lot of time and trouble. If youre not a business, dont waste your time.

First time dropped off tanks to test and refill, they lost one...took a while, wasted my time. After a couple months called for an argon tank...now they cannot find the account! Start hiring good workers not posers!

Just horrible. Holston took over another local company and it has been an ongoing fight to get propane to heat our home. The people are nice enough, but if you live in outside of Knoxville city and need residential propane- you have to call repeatedly to order (cause they “forget to write it down”). This has happened 3 times. I called recently for a fill up, had to call back (as usual, they couldn’t find my order), told them I was now at 17%, 4 days later I called back to let them know I was at 7%. All I got was “ I will let him know your %, but with the holidays, I don’t know when he will be in your area”.Holston, if you can’t service an area, don’t take it on.We will be changing companies. Stay far away from this company!!!

We use Holston Gases at work, and their service and products cant be beat. Theyre the best of the best. Hank Hodge and his Knoxville team are awesome. Highly recommend them!

Propane is much cheaper than other places I’ve used. Nice staff and convenient location.**Update-I was obviously wrong about the cost here. I happened to run out of propane over a weekend day and went to a local “farm supply” store. They display there propane prices by the gallon, no different than how gasoline is sold. I was shocked, my propane was almost half the price as it was at Holston. I wish I were exaggerating but I’m not. For some reason Holston is not transparent about the prices, they either put 30p or 20p on a ticket and then you go inside and pay whatever they charge you. Like I said from the beginning, I was wrong about the cost here and I’ll get mine at the place that charges reasonable prices.

Friendly staff always tops off my rv and gets me back on the road quickly and without drama.

Not open on July 3. Very dissatisfied with no hours posted on their web page. Guess they do not need my business.

Nice folks who fill up my co2 tank. Usually a quick in and out unless its time to have my tank tested. Free popcorn in the lobby. Bigger tanks are cheaper to fill.

We decided to shop around for propane and we were able to get it .80 cheaper. Also, I had paid our tank renewal a few weeks prior of changing companies and was told there was nothing they could do.

Not always the cheapest in town but nice new facility and good service.

They have everything you need for welding and fabricating, argon and other gases are cheap. Welding supplies wire, tips, nozzles grinding wheels etc. Are alot cheaper here than anywhere else Ive been. Welding wire was $15 cheaper than the big stores

FRIENDLY service GREAT PRODUCT AND selection

1/12/18 Friendly staff, Ms. Morgan, Mr. Jacob and James at refill point. The only drawback was the $10 charge for each tank for the recertification of my 30lb Propane tanks for my Jayco RV. Several other places, as a courtesy to its customers, offered certification for free, but those establishments did not have “techs” on site (delivery) or they were way out in Maryville, and I live in Clinton. That’s why 4 stars instead of 5.
