Williams Door Company installed my new garage door today. The installers were very courteous and efficient. The entire job, from dismantling the old door to installing the new one, just took 2 hours! The new door movement is quiet and the door is air-tight. Williams Door Company was able to provide me with exactly what I wanted and worked with my schedule. I would recommend this company to anyone.
I called six different garage door companies this morning to try and buy springs to fix my door. None of them would sell me the springs. All of them wanted to come out and fix themselves when I had already done 75% of the work. Finally I got ahold of Williams Door Co and they helped me out. Awesome place, awesome people and I highly recommend!!!
Great service and got a quick appointment for a single car garage door repair.Broken spring was repaired by Jarrod, and he did great job explaining what broke, how he was going to fix it, and what other parts needed to be replaced (pulleys). Definitely is true courteous professional, and old door is smooth again.
Amy helped diagnose the issue with my door and communicated the repair cost. Casey, the technician, was quick and effective with the repair, upon his arrival. He recommended and re enforced the garage door after identifying a tear with one of the panels. I had an overall great experience. They are quick and effective. I highly recommend them.
Thanks Williams Door Company! appreciate yall coming out to repair our garage door....the technician Chad was very nice...
Ive used Williams Door Company for my garage doors since 2007. Competitive prices, competent service, stand by their word. Just now had the technician Jared out, and he was excellent. He answered all my questions and gave me a bunch of good advice to prevent different potential problems.
Very helpful... thank you for all the help.
Had my garage door repaired by Williams Door today. They sent a very polite and competent repair person who had the job done in a timely manner. I like the fact they provided a detailed quote on the phone prior to sending someone. The quote was accurate other than needing another part replaced. My only complaint is the fact I had to wait 2 days to get service. Usually not a big deal, but I literally could not get my vehicle out of the garage. I still give them 5 stars because their busy schedule isnt their fault. I just wish they would consider circumstance when scheduling or have an after hours/emergency option. I would have paid a little extra to be able to drive my car!Nevertheless, highly recommend them!
Had an issue with my garage door, called made an appointment and they were out the next day. Jarod was very professional and cordial and repaired my door. Craftsmanship was excellent. Highly reommend them.
I would recommend William Door Company to all my family and friends. Angie who answered my call was professional and sweet. She worked with me on finding the perfect time come out for the repair. The repair person was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Thanks again for everything.
Called this company to come out on Wednesday because my electric gate would not open. They stated they would call and schedule Thursday. I called Friday and they stated they would come out on Monday. I explained that the gate was 100 from the house and my wife was handicap. I also told them to call if they needed me there, I was 15 minutes away. They came out on Tuesday and was there 5 minutes and left. I was charged $132 just for showing up. They said the gate did not have power. I asked when the could get back and was told a couple days and I would have to pay another $132. So I called Overhead Door and they came write out and solved the problem.
Called for price on 2 car garage single door. This was before shut down happened because of virus. They acted like a 30 min drive was too far for estimates. Had me measure and send pics 2 different times. They didnt even want to check door I had. Guy was nice but wasnt taking care of possible sale. Had another company give estimate. Showed up next day after calling them. Said standard set up for door. And was alot cheaper for same door. If someone uses these people stay on top of them.
I went there to get a part for and older garage door opener and I did not expect there to be parts available for it since it is approximately 15-16 years old. They saved me from having to buy a complete new garage door opener by finding a part that was compatible with my oldone that works perfectly. Excellent service!!!
We had Williams Door Company come out and replace our garage door opener. We have done business with them in the past and they are wonderful. They called about 30 minutes before arriving and were prompt. Our job was completed quickly and they cleaned up. They explained how everything operated and we were extremely pleased.
Williams Door did a great job repairing our garage door! It had hit a broom while coming down and a cable broke. I had a different company come out and they told me the door was too old to repair and I would have to replace all parts for a total of $862.00! I called Williams Door for a second opinion and they repaired the door for a total of $98.50 and had the parts with them. It was done in less than an hour! Great job - thank you :) Definitely recommend them.
We had Williams Door Company replace our five garage doors. Their price was the most competitive of the three we received. They confirmed our install date via email but when they didnt show up my husband called and they said it was their mistake and the date was actually set for the next week.Chad and Rick, very professional and courteous, arrived on time and they worked relentlessly in near freezing temps and rain for over nine hours to install the five doors. The hooked up the openers and set all the limits perfectly. The sealing trim on the outside of the door frame is perfectly tight. Their attention to detail and quality of work exceeded our expectation. The doors look and work great. Very happy with the job. Scheduling SNAFU aside, I would recommend Williams for garage doors.
I would absolutely recommend this company. The spring on my garage door broke on a Thursday evening and I called first thing Friday morning and they were able to fit me in that day! Which was a blessing with the cold weather that was coming that weekend. The employee was very friendly and extremely efficient, only took about 30-45 minutes. I will definitely be using them for all of my garage door needs.
Hey, guys!I just wanted to send you some accolades on your fast, efficient and friendly service! I had a garage door on the fritz. I contacted you this morning and by 1pm, the matter was solved! Your administrative staff kept in contact with me in regard to scheduling. You have knowledgeable and honest technicians who explain the problem to their customer. Thank you, Williams Door Co. for keeping my home safe and easing my worries. I wholly recommend this company to all who see this post!
I bought a double garage door from Williams. The office staff was friendly and professional. The installer was quick and efficient. I got a beautiful door that looks and works perfectly. Great company to do business with!
Tina was awesome! I called and know nothing about garage doors so I had a hard time describing what was wrong. She just told me to take some pictures and text them to her and she would be able to help. So sweet and helpful. Then the technician came out and it was exactly the charge I was told over the phone and they were able to fix it and get it running smoothly again. Jared was my tech and he was phenomenal!
I have bought several doors and openers here. Better prices and higher quality openers than the big box stores. Locally owned, so dollars spent here stay here. They do service as well and installation. Their service prices are fair and reasonable too.
Price was far cheaper than anyone I priced with. Customer service was excellent. I was told by several local suppliers that I wouldn’t find the door I wanted in stock locally but Williams had several on hand ready to go!
My family has used Williams for 30 years. They’re very responsive, customer service is excellent, and their techs are great too.
Absolutely perfect. Great company,And the young man who fixed door, very professional, and so nice.Thank you
Angie was very helpful with helping me pick out garage doors and pricing.
Angie was great to work with, even with all my questions.price after shopping around was great.techs were in and out in less than 2 hours.door looks great.very happy
I made appointment for a Friday and they never showed up. When I called they said I called them and cancelled.........really!Then would not come out to Mon.The 2 times I called the lady on phone always sounded like I was bothering her, big sighs and more.Called precision.
Extremely disappointed with the service. The manager is not apologetic at all. I ordered a garage door and waited for at least 2 MONTHS for the install. I had to call multiple times (4-5 times) to inquire about the door. Communication was very poor. Each time, all I got in reply was we will be there next week. Then a week went by and NOTHING. Then, I called them again and again. I finally told them that once my door was installed, that I would not be doing business with them any longer. I was not rude with them, I tried to keep it professional...but I hope they realize they wont be able to stay in business with communication and service that poor.
I have bought 3 garage doors for our house, one for a spec house, one for a workshop, and one for a separate garage / apartment in the last 5 years. Williams has been very helpful with answering my questions on the various features of the different doors and providing advice on the wooden doors that I painted myself. The sales staff is thorough and helpful, very knowledgeable, and the installation technicians have not only done a wonderful job on all the various doors but have cleaned up after themselves and carted away all the trash. Very pleased with everything I have ever gotten from them -- not so with some other places I have used in the past.
They do what promise...EXCELLENT service!!!
Horrible customer service; phone technician made me feel as though I was extremely dumb for not knowing how to do anything mechanical; had to come out 5 times in last 2 years to fix problems and I had to pay for every service call even though issues shouldve been resolved with the prior visit(s)! I do not recommend!
A friend of mine works at Williams Doors he loved it they do odd doors but that was the best thing about it there was something new. every day if you have trouble with. your doors this is the ones to get .
Very helpful people. Tina and others in customer service are tremendous, and knowledgeable about the doors, openers, and trouble-shooting. We had a new opener installed after two service calls. They did a good job on the installation, and offer a 1 year installation warranty to complement the opener manufacturers warranty.
We had some door seals that needed to be fixed. The were prompt and did a great job. i would highly recommend them.
This company is absolutely terrible. There scheduling system is the worst and put the customer in a bad situation because you are unable to plan out your day. This company is a complete joke and a waste of time.
They were nice and curteous during the sale and installation. After about 14 months one of the doors kept jumping the track. When asked adjust the track I was informed that my one year warranty was over and it would cost $85.00 to have the door adjusted,When you pay $1,500 for garage doors they should be installed to a quality to last longer than 14 months.I would not buy from this company again.
Great deal on a big door with a lot of insulation. Great warranty
Corey did a great job very professional would recommend to anyone looking for quality done right replacing my spring
They were helpful and competitively proceed with honest answers. Looking forward to working with them in the future
I had a problem with a Liftmaster roll-up door opener. Called Williams and after rescheduling three times a technician came out to inspect it. He diagnosed a programming issue. He tried a couple of things that didnt work and said it needed a new control board. He also claimed they couldnt get one but they could replace the whole unit for $750. I told him Id think about it, paid him the $130 for the service call and he left. I got on the internet and had a new control board shipped to my house for $65. I installed it and programmed it and everything is working again. I wont be using Williams Door Company again.
Great people
Called this morning to request garage door repair, came out at lunch time same day! Excellent customer service and professional!
Never called me back
Always great service here! Been coming here for years.
Excellent customer service. Request for garage door repair and service completed in same day!
Great people to deal with, loved my shopping experience there!
They will go out of their way to help you.
Ive used Williams Door Co. several times over the years. They have always responded quickly and did a great job for a better than expected price.
Wont come back out to fix a bad install, new door and opener not right. 3 strikes and youre out WILLIAMS! Too arrogant to admit that they dropped the ball on this one. Let it slip through the cracks, etc.
This the worst customer services Place in Knoxville. Spent $1100.00 on a door, and they dont stand behind their products, because they didnt install the moter, they wont even come out and look at it. And its not the moter, its the their spring.C.adkins
Poor follow-up by owner Randall or sales/tech support! In November 2015 I took the time to install a Liftmaster Jackshaft door opener that I actually purchased in Feb 2013. I am a home-owner who worked on/off again away from my home and as time was available built a 2nd garage on my property and informed this company (did not expect they would remember of course) three things.1) That I would be building the garage over time and was buying materials ahead of time to ensure all was ready when the time came for final install2) That I was having a 9 foot garage door opening and required a door track that would provide sufficient door lift3) That electrical would not be done until much laterEarly November 2015 I completed electrical work to this garage. I then installed the 3800 PLD Jackshaft door opener only to find it did not operate correctly! Chamberlain offered a 5 year manufacturers warranty so I was on the phone immediately with tech support.Prior to calling Chamberlain tech support, I phoned Willams Door Co. and spoke to both Tina and Angie in sales who were friendly. The underlying tone was that I would have to have a service call done at $85/hr. My reply was that if I could (1) build a 2 story garage and (2) do the entire electrical work after being an engineer by trade for over 30 years and having done carpentry, plumbing and electrical for over 45 years that I should be able to install a garage door opener correctly. My 3rd or 4th call to Williams was met with the reply in early December that Randall (owner) was informed of my situation and a call was in to a regional sales rep. I had hoped for support/help even though I bought the unit in Feb 2013. The box had just been opened, it had a 5 year manufacturers warranty and what options were there. It is not my goal to hound a local firm. I expect, within reasonable time to be called back. This did not happen!.I called Chamberlain and in the course of time...over a month....I was sent a travel module first...then a logic board second but ultimately Chamberlain extended good will and issued me a new in the box 8500 model jackshaft operator. Still no call from Williams and a solid month had passed.1) Manually lifting/closing the door since March 2013 after door install, the door track and radius sold to me by Williams is incorrect. The 9 foot door opening height has been reduced by 9 inches as the door cable and position of the door opener causes an unravel of the cable as tension is not maintained. Sold an incorrect door track height was one main problem.2) I am a one time purchaser of items from the Williams Door Company. I was offered nothing positive when asking for assistance. I did not hear from Randall (owner) nor sales call me back when they said they would.3) If not for both Clopay (door mfg) and Chamberlain (door opener mfg) tech support, the stand by Williams was for the consumer to pay a service charge instead of offering tech supportMy reply had been that why should I pay someone $85/hr to only waste their time if the door opener had malfunctioned to begin with.4) I paid $450 for the Liftmaster 3800PLD in Feb 2013. Sadly my mistake for not having electrical does not mean support should fall short locally.5) PRO: Via Chamberlain and Clopay a model 8500 Jackshaft operator is installed!6) CON: Wrong recommended door height by Williams means I have lost bottom of garage door to floor height7) I will not recommend Williams Door Company now or in the future if an alternate is available!
Ive never had a problem with this company!
Best place to get a role up door
Paid $150 For 3pc of trim 16ft...it should have cost $35... Scammmers
On time even below the quoted price.
Williams Garage Door company is worst home improvement company I have come in contact with in Knoxville. First, I take off work and they do not bring the right part to fix the door. I reschedule the next day and make arrangements to be off work and them they cannot come withing the 4 hour time period we agreed on. I will never use them again and recommend that no one else does either!!!
Everyone here very nice
Expensive but good work
Friendly, helpful people
