This is a fabulous breakfast and lunch place right near Market Square. Walking distance from all hotels in the area. Place was very clean. Few outdoor seating tables. Crepes are amazing and huge! Coffee was perfect. Egg sandwiches were devoured by kids before I could take pics. We went 3 days in a row for breakfast. Highly recommend!

I love all of the things about this restaurant! The service was good!. You just go up and order/pay then they give you a table marker flag and bring you your food when it’s ready. The drink you wait on to be done or some are self serve. We ordered all gluten free and 3 main items to share. The monte cristo, the roast beef and mushroom and then a sweet Bavarian cream crepe with strawberries and bananas. All were amazing! The Carmel chai was the perfect amount of each

OMG, I am in love. Mercì French Market for being such a beautiful little escape from - well, everywhere and everything. Just the ambiance, the music, the wine, the delicious and delectable crepes and other sweet delicacies ... I need to be here every weekend for brunch, just to center myself and feel... Special again! You would have no idea a little market in downtown Knoxville can give you that... Once you step through these doors into another time and place, you will see. Its incredible and Im so glad I did!

So we pulled into Knoxville and found the first breakfast place we could find haha. Went in and line was long and we started hoping it’s for a reason, that reason was tasted and it was amazing. Light and fluffy crepe with an amazing whip cream and the filling was phenomenal. Definitely worth the wait if you have to, make sure to bring a book because the time will fly and you won’t even notice. Definitely recommend this place even if the line is long.

Except for the waiting time to get in and get a seat and then wait again for your food the place was totally awesome. Which explains why theres such a waiting time. I was visiting family and they took us there. It is a favorite of one of my granddaughters and I can understand why. Hope to return the next time I visit.

Ive was here for the first time recently and had great food with very friendly service. Id never had a crepe before and they did not disappoint! The coffee is really good! Ive tasted the blackberry vanilla latte and the almond joy latte, both hot and delicious!! Its a great place to meet and catch up with friends. The atmosphere is very conducive to great conversation. They are practicing covid procedures very well. The bathrooms are clean. This is my new favorite place to go!!

So in love with this place!! The food was fantastic, the ambience was so cute, and me and my boyfriend had such a good time here. The staff was so friendly and even in a rush took the time to ask me if I enjoyed the food. The line was definitely long and took a while but it’s all a testament to how amazing the food is. I ordered the turkey sandwich and the cinnamon crepe. Will be going back!

There was a bit of a line when we went on a Saturday morning, but the line moved very quickly and we were able to order, be seated, and then the food arrived promptly to our table. Cute bistro with good food. The friendly staff answered questions and did not try to rush us into a decision. Had a very pleasant breakfast with my niece when we were visiting Knoxville. You walk into this place and it looks like a basement. Decrepit walls with random French stuff strewn about, tiny little tables with uncomfortable little chairs. But the food… the food…. It was so good! We got a crepe and a burgundy soup, and even now I feel myself salivating remembering it. And it was a pretty good price for the amount of soup, too! I absolutely recommend this place- but if you can… eat outside.

This place is fantastic. Great aesthetic.. great food... Plenty of seating (a second level for those that are willing to good it upstairs). Not a lot of parking in front, but there is a public garage about a block away... busy, but the do a good job moving the line ... A lot of options here and what we had (particularly the Monte Cristo) were all great. Will be coming back when we return Knoxville.

Great experience! Delicious crepes. I had the Mushroom, Bacon, Spinach crêpe and my fiancé had the Monte Cristo which was made with your choice of ham or turkey and a jelly, sweet and savory crepe! Food was really great! But service was very slow... I did go on a Sunday and there was a lot of people, but I waited in line for about thirty minutes, and then had to wait another thirty minutes for them to bring me my food. But dont get me wrong, food was amazing! I think if they had a little extra staff, things would flow much smoother.

We come through Knoxville all the time and try to eat at the spots the locals are excited about. That led us to this place. We had never been to ths place. We walked in, went to the front (there were 5 of us) and I went to the counter. To my left I hear a voice say - we are running 45 minutes. Then the man behind the counter starts our engagement with - our orders are running about 45 minutes and we close at 3. So that means your order will be a to go. No Hello no welcome just straight away with a no. No. I heard - we dont care about your experience and we are over it for the day. We left. Your crepes may be amazing, but well never know because your customer service left a lot to be desired.*I do not see the option to reply to your questions. Yes, this experience was on Sunday and at the downtown Knoxville location.

I have been twice and love it! On the weekends they are very busy so I would recommend calling ahead for a take out order and eating in Market Square down the street or planning to wait for a while. But the crepes are worth it!Gluten free/gluten intolerant: Both the certified gluten free batter and buckwheat batter are safe for gluten intolerance and they are delicious! If you have celiacs I would recommend the certified gluten free batter as they also cook them on a separate area.

We had the beignets, The Monte Carlo crepe, the crepe suzette, and the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. This is a seat yourself after you order establishment that has a welcoming feel to it. The tables are sanitized immediately after the table leaves. The guests take their plates to designated areas to cut down on the risk of Covid-19. The food is amazing. The savory sweet Monte Carlo crepe is HUGE. It is easily vig enough to feed two people. The croissant will satisfy the hungriest eater. The Crepes Suzette have a nice kick to them. The juice of the orange will help balance them out even more. The beignets were good. They were nice and fluffy. It takes some getting use to the powdered sugar. We will be coming back again.

Adorable spot with two stories. You order at the counter and it is self busing, so if you are looking for full service this is not your spot. You cannot go wrong with danishes, croissants, or muffins here, but the menu is a bit large. I think if they focus on their strongest dishes they would have a fantastic spot. I most likely will not give it another try, as some of the items were so bad. The entire menu as it stands now definitely does not merit 5 stars.

Great location by market square! The food is fantastic and they recently began making flavored french sodas. The location now serves alcohol too. One thing I wish had an upgrade was the espresso/coffee. I thought it was a great breakfast brunch location. The 3 different coffee drinks I had were not like they should be. The matcha latte was good though. Coffee is an international staple. My expectation may be too high. The coffee options are similar to a diner with equipment.

So the food was good but the service was poor. We came in and we scolded for bringing in 7 people without calling ahead. This is not on their website. Then we were told at 7:15 when we tried to order dessert that it would come in a to go box. We need to be out of the restaurant by 8 PM on the dot. Last weekend it was a disruptive customer and she would not put up with it again. Yeah just a quick note… At 7:46 we were finished with dessert and walking out the door. What a waste of to go materials. Poor for the environment, poor customer service, poor for all around experience. Would not go again.

I wanted to love this place but sadly, the blueberry and lemon crepe was underwhelming. I expected fresh blueberries, not canned pie filling. And there was way too much of it. The food was okay, but several orders that were placed after us went out before we got ours. No one told us to place our number behind us and we were holding our number when the owner came up to us without his mask on and and reached behind to grab another number coming within inches of our faces. Wont drive an hour for this again.Edit: It wasnt a slip, I watched him take it off one ear. and he made excuses at the time too. We also heard him bragging about his 600 people on Saturday and 500 people on Sunday to the woman that ordered after us, but he personally handed her order to her before we received ours. A 40 minute wait for a Bavarian cream crêpe and a goat cheese crêpe is quite excessive. My previous comments still stand.
