This is one of those places where you can tell thought & care goes into every dish. Weve been going here almost every weekend since spring and the specials never disappoint and Ive gotten the same thing every time (the chicken biscuit) and it is always equally as delicious. Great coffee too! And their service cant be beat. Very family friendly. They clearly love what they do and it shows through their food! Thank you for always being a bright spot in our weekend.

Excellent stop on our way out of town. Great, friendly service. Had a wait time of about 45 minutes but WELL worth every minute of any wait. Build my own plate was a great option. Gives you the chance to taste a little bit of everything. Seems to be a much sought after place for the locals! Just quality, down right delicious food.

Excellent food but…I have eaten at this place many times but I’ve never left a review. I have mixed feelings about this restaurant, although the food is usually excellent, the service and the atmosphere created by the restaurant and it’s staff always makes me dread eating here. On my most recent visit, despite having 6-7 available tables, the wait time was upwards of 30 minutes. This might have been due to reservations but while we were eating only a fraction of the tables were occupied. When we were finally seated we got sat in the midday sun and parties were not being sat in order of arrival instead they were sat without planning. In my experience when restaurants seat first come first serve it expedites the seating process and increases how many total tables can be served in the same amount of time. So all in all I would say the the organization was amateur at best. After we were sat our waitress seemed to patronize our very existence. In total she visited our table 3 times once to get our order, once to give us our food, and once to give us our bill and shoo us out. At the end of our experience I was left feeling like a old dirty dog that the front of house staff wanted nothing to do with. I seemed to have to beg to receive any sort of attention. The food on the other hand has always been excellent. The kitchen knows what they are doing and always provided perfectly cooked and seasoned food. I have always been treated to a delightful mixture in textures with a good balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors. The gastronomy almost makes me want to come here more often, but, once I step through their doors I remember why I held this location in such a sour place.2 out of 5 stars.

Oh my gosh! So delicious and worth the cost of the meal especially for LOCALLY SOURCED food! I had “the problem biscuit” and it is so good and SO filling! My partner got the olives special, both are so good! Highly recommend! Plus for a reservation we called at 9am and we’re able to make a reservation for 12! Plus, they are very strict with their COVID protocols making us feel very safe (guests wearing masks, servers wearing masks, cleaning the tables and chairs between guests, and an online checkout from your phone!)! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Theres a good reason so many locals call this the best brunch in Knoxville - great flavors using fresh local ingredients and a daily rotating specials board based on local in-season ingredients. I went here twice in 2 weeks. During the first visit, I had probably the tastiest and most loaded avocado toast I have ever eaten (wish I had taken a picture!) and a taste of my husbands really good herb biscuit; the second time, I had a braised pork belly and heirloom tomato dish. They still have a very limited menu though - my only wish is that they bring back their full menu soon...

This is the best restaurant in Knoxville!! My boyfriend and I went to OliBea for the first time 3 years ago and were beyond impressed! Now we go almost every weekend! The chef is absurdly talented and every meal weve had there was full of flavor combinations Ive never tasted anywhere else. The staff is so friendly. Plus, they are partnered with Honeybee Coffee and have a full-service coffee bar. They are great with allergies, too! I have Celiacs Disease and I have never reacted to anything they have served me. Their menu is marked for gluten-free and vegetarian options, and they can typically make any of the specials gluten-free also. They have a separate fryer to accommodate allergies, not to mention their fried chicken can be made gluten-free! They are honestly the best! Go try out OliBea sometime!

Theres just too much to say about how good this place is. If youre thinking of going here, try and make reservations a day or more in advanced just in case - especially if you want to go at the weekend. Parking can be found on the street at a meter or you can park under the bridge in the Old City for free and walk a couple of blocks. Theres outside seating for you to bring your friendly pup. The seating inside is also both open or a few spots tucked away. The food tasted so fresh and light (and I even got something that would usually feel heavy). The iced coffee with brown sugar is so good! Its just the perfect amount of sweetness to keep you satisfied. They had pork belly as an option for a side and I snatched up that opportunity. Cant wait to try everything else on the menu

Great place to grab breakfast around Knoxville. Went there with my coworker before heading to work. They strictly follow COVID regulations, you can’t take your mask until you get seated and placed your order.Started with a shaker (ice latte) with oat milk, then order their special of the day which was hen hoc pastrami empanada. Drink came pretty quick, however food took a little bit longer. Food and drink were really tasty and filling. The empanada looked like a small portion, but it was really filling.Overall, great place for breakfast around Knoxville.

Delicious brunch! I I had the breakfast tacos, which were really good and filling. My only complaint is some bites were a tad dry, I wish there was salsa or like pico de gallo on them, but other than that, they were delicious! My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito a lot too!We lucked out showing up around 930 on a Sunday without calling ahead, and we got in within 30 minutes. Given COVID restrictions and their already small seating area, in the time we were there, wait times got really high, so definitely call ahead if you can.The mask policy is a little different. They ask you to wear your mask any time you interact with the servers, which totally makes sense. However we awkwardly were putting masks on and taking them off constantly. Would recommend just leaving masks on until you are done ordering/get your food.Overall a very pleasant experience!

This is one of my very favorite breakfast places in town. It’s down in the heart of the old city in a quaint little building that offers community seating as well as individual tables. Their menu is always very creative and tasty. The servers are always very friendly as well. Apparently there’s not a lot of turnover because I’ve only seen the same four or five servers here since I’ve been coming. That’s actually a nice bonus because I think the quality of service is better when you have long-standing employees. This place is definitely a MUST – see, whether you’re new to town, just visiting for a weekend or you live here. I used to love Olibea. We went to the new location. Were told we had to wait an hour for a table. So we left and came back to our car locked to the ground. Asked why ours was the only car in the parking lot experiencing this problem. Was then told the parking lot was only for residents of the nearby Marble Alley Lots although this parking lot was without a doubt nearly nothing but patrons for Olibea. There were signs citing it was private property. Had no reason to assume the restaurant was not the private property as it was chockfull of patrons. Pretty sure our truck was the only one singled out in the parking lot for the generally lower class look of the thing. They said they couldnt put up a sign since it wasnt their property. But there is a giant mural on the side of their building. Maybe instead of so much mural provide a warning its a extortionist trap for their patrons from another nearby business. Never eating here again.

Perfectly blended flavors in just the right amount of food with prices that are shockingly low- similarly priced to Chick-fil-A but created with the love you only get from family and the expertise of fine dining.
