I’m drinking the best chai latte I’ve ever had. Incredible foam, just the right amount of sweetness (whereas most coffee joints overdo it), and excellent flavor. Love the added touch of latte art... even on to-go drinks!This place is a tad more expensive than other places, but it has a better coffee and experience to offer.

Great coffee. Friendly staff. Cool atmosphere. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

When we stayed in the Knoxville area, we went to Mahalo twice. The coffee is amazing and the food was delicious. I would recommend Malaho for coffee!

I’ve been here multiple times and always a great experience. I enjoy both the Cold Brew and Iced Matcha Latte with Almond milk. Don’t pass up getting a Cheddar Scone too!👨‍🍳🤌💋

First time visitors and overall not that impressed. Espresso was small and quite bitter however, cranberry scone was delicious. Staff was friendly. Overall, I was expecting more of an experience.

Good coffee! They just came out with a breakfast burrito and I know its a new item but I dont think it was ready for prime time. It was a little on the pricey side but the major thing was there was absolutely no seasoning on the burrito ingredients itself. Might wanna put a little salt on it and maybe something else to give it some zip because the burrito itself was very bland.

Super chill minimalistic vibe, sweet Baristas (who will make you the perfect blend) & a fabulous cuppa!! ☕ Right off the main road, clean, plenty of parking, drive-thru, plenty of space to work.

Mahalo Coffee Roasters is absolutely amazing. My family visited the Powell, TN location twice last week while vacationing in Knoxville. Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious: I especially enjoyed the macchiato and the iced blood orange spro. The staff was friendly and hospitable, the atmosphere chill, and the decor was themed perfectly. Another bonus was the mountain view from the front patio.I’ve been writing about coffee shops for close to 20 years now and Mahalo Coffee Roasters is a special place. My only regret is that we live eight hours away and can’t visit more often.

This place not only has great coffee, but it also has the nicest people!! My husband frequents the downtown location on a regular basis, and he said they always remember details about him when he orders his coffee! They are genuinely so kind and we love getting coffee from here on a regular basis.

Awesome new coffee shop to Knoxville area! This is exactly what Emory Rd. needed as it continues to grow. I have had an iced coffee and a hot Mexican blend. Both were delicious. Also got a blueberry muffin which was to die for. I cant wait to try a cinnamon roll soon!

First time I came here, I was not blown away for whatever reason, but thankfully I came back and each time after had been an exceptional experience! The baristas are all around great. They make the best cappuccino I have ever tried! Their drip coffee isn’t just your basic coffee taste like most...you get hints of floral and earth tones, I love it.

Mahalo gets a bad wrap for the drip, but most people don’t understand that they have been roasting for about a year... Also if you want a dark roast, go to a different coffee shop. It’s an advanced coffee shop, gotta get used to medium and light. Espresso is balanced almost perfectly. Try their cortado. Pastries are also great. Could use some improvement on flavored lattes, but then again who is coming to Mahalo for flavored lattes? Great decor and very clean. Highly recommend this coffee shop.

Had such a great experience at Mahalo coffee this morning. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The coffee was great and so was the banana bread they had from Flour Head. The staff was very attentive and checked in to see how it was going. The owners were both there helping the staff get out drinks and food. Such a humbling experience. When a local contact wanted to meet at Mahalo for early morning coffee, I realized I’d never heard of it. What a great place! They opened 2 weeks ago and already have a steady stream of business- for good reason. Great, personal service, a clean, modern atmosphere and be sure to try a cinnamon roll, it’s amazing. Highly recommend Mahalo to anyone in north Knoxville or traveling I-75.

First, the décor is nice and very Big Island-ish, but how can you be called Mahalo and not have Hawaiian coffee on the menu?! Our trio tried several coffee beverages, which received no high marks from our crew. My Mahalo-roasted drip coffee, while apparently roasted right on premises, was not to my liking. Having roasted coffee at home for a number of years, Id say the roast profile (heating pattern controlled by the roaster herself/himself) was not matched well to the beans. Next time Ill try somewhere else.

I don’t know about their black coffee, but the latte is very small and not that good. I expect places like this to at least be better than Starbucks. Any good coffee shop should be able to make a bullet proof coffee as well.

What a fantastic specialty coffee shop/roaster. Beautiful, clean, and comfortable shop. Insanely friendly and knowledgeable baristas. And most importantly, the coffee is roasted and brewed extremely well. (I had a cortado and pour over). I’m a bit too critical and usually disappointed by most specialty coffee shops, but I was pleasantly surprised by these guys.

Best latte I have had in awhile. Their expresso is exceptional. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting was easily one of the best I have ever had.

The coffee was really good. Even though it was a to go coffee that would have a lid on it the guy still made little hearts in my cup. Get a sweet bun with the icing on top though, you will thank me later.

Very good coffee and their merch selection is a step above what youd normally see. Have enjoyed the standard drip and latte Ive gotten there. If youre into brewing at home they have a very good selection of gear that youd otherwise have to order online. Only negative is the parking lot layout. The drive thru makes it difficult to get in and out sometimes. However, friendly service and good coffee.

I hate to do this but I did not have a good experience. I was in the car line for over 20 minutes and the coffee I ordered (the kona (r) that’s what was written on the cup?) tasted like hot water with a little hint of cream added to it. The donuts were good but I wasn’t impressed otherwise :/

I loved the overall experience of the place! From the welcoming vibe from the workers to the wide variety of items on the menu it was very enjoyable. The interior was light and and airy and had the perfect balance of cozy and contemporary. The menu was very descriptive and it is the only shop I have been to that serves affagatos. Also, I now know the difference between a macchiato and a latte. Thank you Mahalo! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a coffee shop to go to with friends. Mahalo for coffee!

I am a traditionalist coffee drinker. A little sugar, a lot of cream and good brew. I got a perfectly crafted Americano made perfectly to my liking and request. Had to go through drive thru and then park but the service was fast and friendly. We got 2 caramel lattes, blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll in less then 5 minutes. Muffin was hot and good but the cinnamon roll is phenomenal! That was our first visit, but well definitely go again!

Fantastic coffee shop. Great latte, perfect temperature with latte art. A few nice pastries to pick from. Staff was incredibly friendly including the owner who took our order and also came by later to our table to ask how everything was. Will absolutely come back.

Great atmosphere

We live in Alcoa, but came out this morning to check out this adorable coffee shop. It was super busy, but didn’t have to wait long at all!! The staff is energetic & it was great to see Trevor working along side his employees. We’ll definitely put this on our Saturday morning drive destination list. ☕️
