By far the absolute worse place to purchase a firearm. I understood that the computers were slow but the female that sold me the firearm kept answering her personal phone. I was there for two hours. I definitely would never recommend to anyone. There was no sense of emergency nor did I feel valued as a costumer. I will take my money elsewhere.

Loved it, usually easy to find a store assistant to answer any questions I may have. Employees seem to love their job there which makes it more pleasant to shop.They dont make you feel like youre a bother.Keep up the good work guys !

I used to love this place and did lots of shopping but over the last year it has been terrible. After todays visit I dont think I will return. Stopped in to purchase a battery. After waiting to checkout I reminded the cashier he needed to input my information for the warranty he then said oh yeah well its too late now but you can go to the service desk and have them do it. As always there was a huge line. After standing in that line for 20 full minutes I waited another 10 for a manager who never came but another employee told me there was no way to go back and put the information in. I have purchased I would say around 8 batteries from there and had to bring back 3 within the first week and 2 within the first year. Now Im left without that protection on a battery that cost over 100.00 50 min total spent in that store to walk out disappointed just as every other time this past year. Staff is not knowledgeable and there is never enough. Checkout takes too long. Customer service takes even longer. Employees practically run from you if you have a question. They take at least 4 days minimum on online orders for even just 1 or 2 items and Ive yet to get a single one completely fulfilled. Nothing but bad experiences lately.

Either Man or woman would absolutely love this store. I enjoy getting a little bit of everything but mainly purchasing my laying hens here. The animals here are definitely healthy and reasonable. My only complaint would be employees arent so friendly

One of my favorite places to visit. Always find a deal on pet supplies. They usually have great prices on ammo. One visit Ill find a great buy on ammo Ive been looking for and the next Ill find a great buy on home decor. My go to spot for all my chicken needs as well. I even bought my first set of baby chicks from here! Always recommend to anyone who asks!

My first time going there it took me about 10 minutes to get my stuff within that 10 minutes I heard the a manager say they were taken people at the return desk while the two girls that were at the cashier were sent somewhere else one of them was a new one. So when I got to the cashier to check out the manager close the cashier again until everyone to go to the service desk . that made no sense to me if theyre training a new girl that manager needs to be trained if you ask me . They could have checked me out even the people behind me were upset . I left my stuff at the counter and left the store I will never return again ... 😡😡😡😡

I love this store. They allow you to bring your animals in, and they make sure to show them some love! From the ducks and turkeys, to dog beds, trampolines, pools, tools and clothes. Its your one stop shop. I absolutely love this storeHighly recommend!

I was going to be purchasing a bunch of chains that what seemed to be a good deal but when I went to get 2,000$ dollars worth of them and probably a bunch more. they would not give me the price that was showing online and this is not the first time this has happened to me at this same store with the same manger with screen shots of the price and email of the sale price and they not sale it for what you offing it for is pretty sad to not stand behind it

Love rural king ( when they have popcorn made). Suggestions to management for proper “social distancing”. If you’re going to have the massive barricades at the front door to keep the entrance separate from the exit, please refrain from ONLY using lane one …. Which forces everyone checking out to be inches away from everyone entering the store ( and waiting for popcorn … if it’s made …. You can tell I’m sad when I go to RK and the popcorn maker is empty!!!)

Staff is friendly but geez took forever for a loader to bring out my purchase. After like 20 mins, I was brought a floor model (when I paid for a new one and there were still ones in boxes) and the safe didn’t even have keys so I requested that to be taken back so I could have a new in-box one. I was waiting for a total of like an hour. Could’ve been due to lack of staff, not sure

Great store! ! A lot of different product mix at great prices I am very impressed! The only thing I would say is maybe in some areas they need to work on customer relation skills I was ignored as the gun counter for a good 25 minutes I realize when youre busy its hard but you can at least make eye contact in Greek customer and tell them youll be right with them

Nonexistent customer service! Employees more interested in gossip than helping customers ‼ we asked for help and no one came. Asked a SECOND TIME,at the service desk, all we were told was Im sorry we went to Tractor Supply and received much better SERVICE!

Didnt have the boots i needed as they were very specific (all black leather lace-up with comp toe), but the man who asked if i needed help was kind and offered a useful suggestion.

Probably the best store a man could ever want. I go three times a week. Not kidding either.

Im not a farmer...but I love this store. I grew up in lumber hardware business and this is, in my opinion, a great addition to our area. I work and get dirty, daily. Carpenter jeans that are good feeling and $13, amazing. Jelly and preserves that I cant wait to get home and make Biscuits and try, twice the size and almost half the price of stores with my money saving club card, its amazing. I could go on, but you need to see it for yourself. Watch out big box, youve lost a lot of my business after tonight.

Great prices on their feed and most things. Some items (like toys) are overpriced in my opinion. Ive noticed the employees seem to be happier and more helpful in the last few months. Perhaps a positive change in management. I like that they have community involvement.

Just bought gloves. Looked busy for a Sunday morning. Cashier was nice and polite.

It is only been open for 3 months, and a former Kmart building. I found a lot of variety there. Anything from live baby chickens and turkeys for sale, to Garden items, too close, two lawn mowers, and even reasonably priced kayaks. The story itself with tiny and everything put in its place. The bathroom however was lacking. Lacking toilet paper in the actual dispenser holders. They were sitting a giant toilet paper spindle role on top of the toilet paper dispenser. Yeah instead of putting it inside the holder. There is no paper towels and the paper towel dispenser. But there was a roll of paper towels to dry your hands like Scott towel paper towels. There is barely one or two pumps of soap left in the soap dispenser before I realized it was out. Im just glad I was able to get that.Brenden the cashier was very nice and helpful.

What can I say about this fantastic place, we rescue dogs and I love the selection of food offered, we often purchase open bags for a reduced price, but it seems they stopped doing that so now we kibble and bit it... lol, the staff are always helpful and kind and you can get lost looking around the store so much to see... we just love it... My experience at Rural King has always been good,Until today! They have several aisles and shelves of summer items marked 50% off. When I went to pay, the cashier told me they were not on sale. She yelled across the front end of the store for a manager. Once she got the attention of the manager, we explained that the price stayed 50% off. The manager never went back to look for a sign; instead went into her office and looked up something on the internet. Then she comes back and states they are not marked down and left us at the register.What has happened to customer service? I will shop at the other store because the manager did not want to be bothered with us. June 6 at 7:00 pmThey lost a customer forever.

They never answer the phone I’ve been calling for almost 40 minutes no one ever answered I just have one simple question but no not one person would answer. I’m not saying I don’t love the place because we do I love just going to look around and buy the cat food and the cat litter and food for my dogs our granddaughter loves the little animals we as a family love going to rural king but after my hip surgery I have to use a cane and I’m still having a lot of problems walking so I thought I’d call them to check on one thing before I drive that far because of all the pain I have on my right side it’s very painful to sit that long but after 40 minutes no one ever answered it only takes a couple minutes to hear a question I promise I don’t keep you on the phone very long .

Always like exploring Rural King. My purpose for the trip was to simply to pick up a spark plug for my weed eater. However, enjoyed knocking around to look at more.

Rural King is very good place to shop. They have chickens, rabbits, tools, clothes, pet food, guns, and so much more. Come here for all your gardening needs. This is a large location and is well stocked and clean. I would shop there again when in town.

You can find everything here. Free popcorn, too!!! Everyone is very helpful as well. The only disadvantage for me is that its a bit of a drive.

Cant beat their prices on bedding or feed. My only complaint is that we came in once to buy chickens and they were supposedly all silver lace wyandottes, theyve gotten their adult feathers and theyre definitely not, we think probably 1/2 of them are black jersey giants or Australorps. Not too big an issue, theyve gotten it right every other time, and they were 99¢ 🤣

Great selection of items. Prices no cheaper than the other stores. Petri dish for covid sadly, but hey covid doesnt infect individuals with camo. Another cool thing about RK is that they have a popcorn cart when you come in to snack on

We enjoy coming here. They have all kinds of things ranging from clothes, tools, shoes, snacks, animal feed, and so much more. You can also get chickens here. They hand out free popcorn too. Lots of Carhartt clothing here as well.

Great place for bird food and camping, fishing supplies. Good selection of firearms. They really need self check out here. The lines are usually backed up everytime I go in. Expect to spend ten minutes or more waiting in line. Thats the only downside. They should have at least one or two self check out lines.

Very hot in store, no AC??? I didnt want to stay too long too hot or I would have done some more shopping.

I love this store. It has it all and all at great prices. The staff are friendly and helpful. The chicks that are there at this time are adorable. Whatever youre looking for I would suggest going to Royal King before any of the others.

Although the prices were second to none the best prices for what you can get the quality of the products were terrible one of the brass rings that I had gotten for rope had the price tag wrapped around the cut that was in it so I got home and realized that the ring had been cut when I went to take it back I was told that they didnt take back merchandise not only that but some of the other companies that they deal with will not help or give you any leeway when it comes to their products I was missing the keys for one of the safes that I bought it was on the rack not like a used or something or brought back they told me it was as is I told them its as is when its hanging on the shelf then after multiple emails I couldnt even get a set of keys so its useless not only that but I cant take it back so thank you rural King and also the company that you have doing your shaves somebody needs to do something about them

They had nearly everything we needed to get. Didnt have one item but thats okay. It was very crowded and stood in line for about 25 minutes to check out, but everyone was very courteous.

I literally just from there so you can go back there right now and see the horrible conditions those chicks are in. They got pasty butt really bad and some may possibly be dead. The cages are in horrible condition. I’m surprised they are not closed for animal cruelty. I was heart broken. No one knew where the pastry butt spray was or they didn’t know where the guy was that ran it. If you can’t get someone to take care of the chicks then don’t have them.

This place was something very unexpected . My friend had told me it was a tool shop & let me tell ya it was much more than that. I was so amazed at all the it had other than just tools that it took me 2 hrs just to get thru the store. Its a wicked cool place & everyone should go @ least once cuz ya missin out if ya dont

Ive heard nothing but good things about this store but when I was there last week nothing was stocked they didnt have a battery charger or a compressor that I liked and pallets were blocking every other aisle. The worst part was no customer service on the floor besides one kid who looked like he was about to have a nervous breakdown understandably and the lines were wrapped halfway around the building. I might go check it out again one day far from now to see if ANYTHING improves. But for now tractor supply is 100% a better option.

Lots of great prices. They allow fur babies, which is good in itself, but a huge dog bounded through the door and squatted in the floor. Not what I want to see while I am shopping.

Again, if youve never been to a Rural King - youre missing out. This place is amazing. Picture Tractor Supply meets Wal-Mart on steroids. Im originally a Yankee so this place is like a field trip for me every time I walk in. Seriously, this store is well worth the trip.

I must commend and thank the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful young woman- her name is Stormy - who helped me find the Reacher that was on sale. When I said that I had to go to the car for my change card, she said, I’ll get it for you. Because we had walked around the store to find it, I thought she meant that she would check me out. What she did was to get out her charge card and pay for it. I was overwhelmed. So, if you go to the Rual King in Knoxville and see Stormy, tell her what a wonderful person she is. I plan to tell management too.

I thought Halls had everything but now they got rural King hale the King baby... And thank you very much I recommend this store outlet for everybody and everyone I dont have enough thumbs to put in here thats how good it is now lets go shop.

I called for curbside pickup and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. I went inside to pick up my order because no one ever answered. Line was really long and zero people were wearing masks in line. I dont know if Ill ever be back. The only reason I go is my chickens prefer their feed to others.

This place was a big disappointment yesterday. I finally got the money to buy me two 15 inch utility Tires and Wheels and when I get out there they did not have any. Not even anyting close.

The employee was so polite and always asked you if you need anything.

My hubs loves this place! We seem to shop here more and more, especially since I really dislike WalMart! And, my parents love their licorice salt water taffy.

My first visit....it was nice. Some good deals, but some expensive (clothing). But they do have a little bit of everything! My husband loves the place, but its a long drive for us. There isnt one in our county.☹
