Tons of workers and I didnt feel unattended or approached right away...good knowledge of product. The young lady that helped was the best. She said she was a welder and knew about H.R. (heat resistant) pants and what pants had knee inserts. Employee 5 stars.

They have non standard sizes on the shelf I wear a 32 36 and there are many varieties to choose from. I suggest the fire hose jean style. They are semi elastic around the waist and a comfort to wear.

I like their selection of clothes and underwears. Its a bit on the pricey side. Seems like they have lots of good sales. The staff was warm and friendly. One thing I thought was unique is the lounge they had in the back of the store where you could sit and have a free coffee while Im waiting for my wife to finish up.

I’m so thankful for the nice blond lady who helped me yesterday in the Anchorage store. Nothing ever fits when I order online and returning items means taking time off work to get to the post office in Kotzebue. My time is precious when I fly down to Anchorage so having her help me find what I needed was greatly appreciated. She knew that store like the back of her hand and was able to keep a nice pile of insulated pants ready for me to try on. All I had to do was stay in the dressing room and figure out what fit correctly — instead of getting dressed and coming out to walk aimlessly around the store in search of another pair. I don’t care how much anything costs because the clothing at Duluth is top notch and is an investment - the insulated pants I was wearing have held up for three years and I wanted a pair just like them but the nice blond lady knew they had been discontinued. Too bad the other stores don’t take care of their customers like the nice blond lady. Good luck finding someone to assist you at REI or Cabellas. Bit pricier than other clothing stores, but I can tell you from experience, youre actually buying better quality. Old Navy jeans tear through on me within a month. Ive been wearing my first pair of Duluth jeans for six and they still look brand new.

I love Duluth quality, but this location in Anchorage has been a disappointment. They seem to always be thin on inventory. In between seasons maybe? Slim selection, especially in the Alaska Hard Gear section.

Clean and organized. Super clean restrooms. Excellent quality to their products. Customer service is really lacking though. We walked in and shopped for 30 minutes and were never once greeted.

All in all, an irritating, time consuming, unfruitful experience at this store. Ordered online and selected items that were available in the store. The cute confirmation message said it would be ready the same day and that I couldnt change my order because the staff fulfill orders so quickly. Hours later I stopped by and they hadnt started picking the order. By the time they had, half the order wasnt available, and they cancel it. That places the burden to back online and order again - by the time I did, half the items were no longer available elsewhere. These were all clearance items. The online part seems to work and the online staff were helpful - raises the question why have a local store. Despite this experience, still gave them two stars for the overall quality of the merch and the fact the store is usually a good place to visit.

The staff members here are very rude and want to humiliate customers. There were a box of masks out to take. I grabbed one for my grandmother who doesn’t carry masks on her. I didn’t want her to get exposed to COVID. The manager was very rude and said in a condescending tone of voice those are only for paying customers. Take it now because it has already been touched by your dirty hands. Don’t leave masks out for the public to grab if they’re only for a certain audience. Also how do you know what a paying customer looks like? My grandmother was going to buy an expensive jacket here. After We were treated rudely though, we just left. This place is disguising and I would never buy anything from this place because of how the manager treated us.

Great place to shop, sit and laugh. Friendly staff and gorgeous sturdy clothes. Love the couches and free coffee while you wait for a pokey family member sort through a rack of fisherman vests.

Multi million dollar company and they cannot look up your purchase with the credit card you used. So if you lose your receipt and the price of the item you bought is say $20 less they give you the value that they currently show. They staff wouldn’t even attempt to look up the price from one week ago.

After shopping here for the first time and getting the no bull guarantee I have been back many times and online dont thing I will shop anywhere else for my cloths

Absolutely the best rain gear (Alaskan) that I have ever owned hands down! From hunts here in back country Alaska to a several week metal detecting trip to British farms where it rained every day, the Alaskan rain gear never failed. I used the pants and jacket every day in the mud and dirt and stayed dry. They are also very easy to clean up. Highly recommend!

Amazing staff. Walked in and saw a friendly face, with many helpful staff. The store was very nice and clean, but I feel the staff really set a great positive environment. I love Duluth Trading Company. Super heavy-duty clothing and outdoor wear, suited for the Alaskan Lifestyle. Theres several places/stores that promise quality outdoors clothing, but Duluth is the only one who really delivers on that promise. You definitely get what you pay for with these folks. Duluth is a pretty good place to shop. Kinda spendy but the quality of clothes is worth it. Awesome selection of sizes for real people. Womens goes up to 3XPlus size. Pretty sure youve seen the commercials for the mens.

The woman at the womens clothing department clothing area was incredibly helpful. Hardly ever see that level of service anymore anywhere. Everyone friendly. The clothing seems to be great quality, beautiful colors.

Big store for a handful of goods. Does it really need a full wall display for three styles of panties? Id have to say no.That said I do like the clothing. The quality is good and even the underwear I bought from the wall display are now some of my favorites.

Update: Ive been wearing these new pants made out of a fire hose type materials and I love them. A ultra lightweight feel and Im able to move in ways other pants wouldnt allow without ripping the crotch out. My other pants I owned previously have a nice spot on a hanger in my closet.Interesting story. I was approached by a random larger man like myself and he asked me if I had been wearing Carharts all my life which I have been. He asked me to give Duluth trading a try and if I didnt like it I could simply return it. So I went to the location on old Seward and was amazed by the overall selection of quality products. Met by a very nice person at the door and helped by a professional acting employee for fitting. I fell in love with the pants I bought for work and now have something that moves with me instead of against me as I move. Im definitely a believer in the company who actually makes clothes to fit us naturally bigger men or women. Prices are comparable to the other type of work wear Id buy so my budget is the same as before.

The store was in immaculate condition and the staff was very polite and very helpful. Prices are high, but that is too be expected. I just couldnt justify spending that much money on a tool backpack for work that has no hard sided pockets and no hard lined bottom. The Klein backpack is $40 less and Ive got 2 of them because their durability is great. I was disappointed to see that Duluth is counting on you spending extra money just for their name. Quality is important too guys

Surprisingly limited selection in sizes as well as variety. Plus, I always thought that Duluth Trading Company was made in America? Apparently not. Most of the items here were made in Asia, which I dont necessarily mind but I went there specifically to buy some made in the USA clothing. The womens selection in the work clothes is pretty slim. Staff are helpful, but they are limited by the lack of sizes and selection.

Duluth located here about 2 years ago, and I have been buying clothes here for about 5 months. And I would have to say that their clothes are an excellent value for the quality you receive. They beat out any patagonia or rei thing you get of comparable value. Their stuff is built tough and rugged for whatever task you may have for about 1/2 the price of major competitors. I am a very satisfied customer who will be returning often

Im a big guy. This store is made for men like me. Perfect selection. I only wear Buck Naked and love the firehose selection. They have styles for all fields of work, comfort and play!

Duluth Trading is one of my favorite places to shop and the quality of their items is superior to most other places Ive shopped. The Firehose Flex pants have become the replacements to the Dockers dress pants that had been a staple for 30 years for me. They fit better and wear like iron.

I really love their clothes and sitting area. If you need clothes for taller men, they have that also. Theyre also really durable in the wash. The only thing is their shirts run a but bigger than normal, but they have a lot of sizing options.

Their clothing looks like it has some good quality to it. Didn’t buy anything.....seems a touch pricy. I’m sure I will eventually though, and will update my review. They have quite a bit of gimmicky knick knack stuff also. Some of it looks useful though.

Their products are by no means cheap, but they are very good quality. It is a nice store and the service was good. I was helped by two different individuals and both were helpful.

Denim is durable. Flexhosepants are pretty great. The free-swinging flannels are great too. My issue is that theyre working man clothes with designer prices. Cmon, all the stuff is made overseas. I can see $80 for pants made in USA.*UPDATE - the zipper broke on the jeans I bought here. However, the store replaced them easily and quickly.Still, I like the concept of the clothing, the prices and apparently the quality kind of suck.

Great customer service. Greeter at the door notified us of a big sale as soon as we came in the door. Nearly every one of the staff that saw us either greeted us or at the very least smiled and nodded.

Visited here today prior to their grand opening. Wow!!! Every retail store should take notes. Super friendly staff immediately upon entering the door. Spent about 45 minutes walking around and we were constantly approached asking if we had any questions or needed help (in a good way, not pushy or annoying). They have a lounge area with free coffee, free bottled water, couch, tv, and computers to browse on. I am serious. Sweet!We were informed they also have the only Duluth Trading clearance section in the United States. They just opened and the clearance room was packed full of all kinds of good stuff. All of their gear and apparel is really high quality and really reasonably priced. If you have never owned anything from Duluth, you are missing out. Their clothes are indestructible and comfortable.If that wasnt enough, we checked out with just a dog toy (coming back for the grand opening) and the cashier applied a $10 coupon to our total, just because. Thanks! Also, check the bottom of your receipt. They have a 1 year return policy.Super pumped to have a Duluth Trading in Anchorage AND it is done right. No longer have to wait for the long shipping times to Alaska. Bravo guys!

They have a great lounge area for you to sit down, relax and grab a cup of coffee - Ron Swanson would be proud.Lots of staff on hand for any questions as well as a clearance room. And dont worry - there are sales and deals to be had even on day one.If you are new to Duluth - they make solid, easy fitting, long lasting clothes that you will get maximum mileage out of. And their Buck Naked underwear and Ballroom jeans are stuff of legends. Legends.

The firehose flex pants are a dream come true for big men. I hate pants that always squeeze my wedding tackle, these pants do not. They flex and expand when you move. I will never wear any other pants but these ever.

Clean helpful staff it would be nice if the Alaska line had some womans stuff. Especially the union suit. It also would be nice to see more color in the plus sizes. There is lots of black, white and grey.

Upon returning home we discovered that we were charged full price for the gloves and not the clearance price.We returned to the store 2 days later and they would not honor the clearance price as there were no more gloves like them.They did, however, allow us to return the gloves, which we did.The sales rep was TC8945.
