They were completely sold out of rentals when my son and I showed up to rent his equipment without a reservation. After asking a few questions about sizes and how long we needed the equipment, they were able to maneuver a reservation around so that they could help us as long as we could return the equipment early the next day. Just when I was ready to just try to find an alternative to accommodate our plans, THEY came up with a solution to help me without even being asked to. That level of customer service is something that comes as a complete shock in todays culture. Thanks, so much for taking care of us.

This was my first time preparing for a ski trip but I will continue to shop local with the guys Brett and Matt! They have gained a new customer!

Not sure what to think about this shop. Their ski and boots choices are somewhat limited, and skis are a bit pricy. What they really lack is customer service. They can tell you that they can do this specific job, but no one even looks into this four days later. Once I got back to pick up my skis, one person had a quick look and told me that this could not be done. Dont get me wrong: I am not upset about this outcome. However, it will be much better to have a knowledgeable staff member before they assure the customer that they can do it. It will be even OK to call the customer the next day and let the customer know that this cannot be done. However, it is not OK to keep skis for four days and just tell you that they cannot do this.

Unbelievable experience! I have never encountered such an individual that was so eager to educate their customers. My friend and I traveled from out of town to this ski shop by recommendation and needless to say the recommendation was spot on. I left with exactly what I came for and a lot more. If you need anything for skiing this place is great. We stopped in hear after trying multiple places and they were so nice to me, my family, and everyone who came in. They have been pretty busy so the choices were limited, but we found what we were looking for and with great customer service!

Awesome ski buying experience at Alpine. Went in to check out the K2 Mindbender 108Ti and got great recommendations for binding options. The pricing was really great, even for a 2021 model pair. Pulled the trigger and left them with Chaz to do mounting. They were ready to pick up in less than 2 days and the mounting looks perfect so far! Picked up with Brett, who also showed me some poles and even suggested I wait a another season to upgrade my boots instead of buying a new pair - not that I was going to spend another few hundred after new skis, but thats when you know its a good and honest business. No surprise they have tons of 5-star reviews and happy customers, of which I am now one also. Great shop and cool employees. If I wouldnt end up broke, Id just hang out there all day. Thanks guys!

I came in before Christmas and need everything. Jackets, Pants, and everything else including socks. These guys and gals are so helpful and knowledgeable on these products. We are so happy are glad to shop local.

Great local shop for ski equipment and apparel. My family and I purchased our skis, boots, poles, and goggles there while receiving excellent advice and education on selection, use and care of equipment from sales associates who themselves are experienced and enthusiastic skiers/show borders.

Great Customer service and awesome local spot to spend your money

This is truly a great store. Ive been buying equipment there for many years, and Ive always had excellent service. Bret, the store manager, is particularly helpful. I had never been able to find a pair of ski boots that would hold my narrow heels in place, but Bret found me a pair, and it drastically improved my skiing.

Look no further! The quality of this shop is like something you would see out West, but we have it right here in Knoxville. Great staff that is willing to help with anything. Brett and Matt have been such a help with a sport that I’m fairly new to. Selection is very impressive. Shop local, folks.

The staff here was extremely attentive and friendly. Hooked us up on all the gear we needed for a trip out west. Used to be a fan of Pluto Sports but the attitude of the staff there turned us on to Alpine.

I bought some snowboards online and didnt know much about what I was getting myself into. I went to get my boots heat-molded today. They started the process within 3 minutes of me walking in the door. And, it was the Friday before Christmas! Super helpful and knowledge staff. Cant really ask for more!

I am fairly new to snowboarding so I dont really know a lot, but I am very familiar with quality customer service; which is what you will find here. I cant remember the name of the guy who helped me but I imagine if you go here, any employee you will find is willing to wholeheartedly help you and be very patient with you as they were with me. These guys are awesome! They know what they are doing. I dont snow ski, but was getting some binders mounted to a board for my daughter. They informed me that what we brought in could be problematic,and explained why. Bought some some their equipment, went and ate lunch at Chilis came back and they were mounted!! This is how all business should operate! I highly recommend! Good people.

As a guy trying to pick up a new hobby this winter, I knew nothing and the guys at Alpine were pros. They gave me probably the best customer service Ive ever experienced. They really knew their stuff.

They have always been helpful to me and gave great advice on gear. I had a defect in a board I bought there once that lead to it cracking and they shipped it off for me and got it replaced hassle free.

Most of the employees are respectful and kind. Has a good vibe and decent prices.

My wife and I were visiting family in Knoxville. We live in New York, but we were going on a ski weekend trip directly from Knoxville with family. We got our skiis tuned (they got it done in 2 days on very short notice when our shop in New York could not) and we ended up purchasing new ski boots since Alpine Ski Center had great boots at great prices and our boots were very old. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. They went the extra mile to ensure our boot heaters were transfered/secured. After skiing that trip and returning to New York, I confirmed the boots hurt my toes. I called Alpine Ski Center and asked if they could ship me one size larger. Matt Davis promptly shipped me new boots one size larger at no additional cost to me, while I return shipped the original boots. This level of customer service is unparalleled. The combination of great product at good prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and incredible customer service make Alpine Ski Center the place to go for your ski needs. Highly recommended!
