This dealership is awesome. The staff is nice and helpful. The service Dept is hands down the best. I bought a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado new. It was such a good experience I sent my mom and dad to them. They bought a new car as well. I have always had my oil changed and tires rotated through the Reeder service Dept. Fast and reliable. So if your shopping or needing yours worked on check with Reeder. You wont be disappointed.

Weve never had a bad experience with Reeder. Weve brought vehicles to their repair department and have always had a great experience. This was the first time we purchased a vehicle from them, and we were not disappointed. Jordan, our salesman, was excellent, as well as Kevin in finance. Both were very friendly and personable, as well as professional. We not only have a great new car, but we also have the assurance of a great warranty and excellent service for the next several years.

Myself and my fiancé were able to get into a nice 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and this was our first time going to a dealership! They treated us so well, Jordan is your go to guy! He really put any anxieties we had about going to a dealership at ease and easily walked us through the process and explained everything! He definitely deserves a raise so professional yet personable! Reeder treats you like family, and they do whatever they can to try to help you get approved! We will definitely be going back in the future I plan on getting my own future vehicle from them!

I was supposedly scheduled by Latoya I believe was her name 2 weeks previously but when I arrived it wasn’t on the schedule. However they did my service and changed a couple bulbs…a little over 7 hours later it was finally finished. That was all great but I had no idea it was going to be so much for labor or obviously that wouldn’t have happened I mean I feel it’s ridiculous to waste an entire day waiting for your vehicle when you could’ve just rescheduled if advised but to pay $147 to change 5 bulbs wow! The wait on service time with an appointment is always extensive I feel but this time absolutely takes the cake.

The Express Lube man bun club at this dealership needs to seek employment at a Jiffy Lube! Lets just say I had a bad experience on 10/15/21 that I would expect at Wal Mart or Jiffy Lube and not at well known dealership such as Reeder Chevrolet. Im not going to go into detail about my experience, just want to warn anyone that reads this review that for any tire rotation or balancing needs you might want to look elsewhere. As a matter of fact I would recommend Discount Tire!

Not very evident when you drive in where to go, or who to talk to. No service adviser coming to the vehicle.They did not do the tire rotation as they were supposed to do.Did not call or text to say the vehicle was ready.Customer service doesnt even appear to rate as an afterthought here.

I also had the pleasure of dealing with Geoff in the service department and he too was knowledgeable, helpful and all around great to deal with. Michael in finance was helpful as well. Got an oil change no problem with my car just an oil change and they suggested air filter got that also 4 hrs later after driving get home car start smoking and all 6 qrts of oil is drained in my driveway I call and explain. Overcharged $1100 more than quoted. Acted like it was our fault. We were loyal customers, no more. They wont take responsibility for poor employee training on how to quote needed work. Put us in an uncomfortable economic situation living on social security tight budget. Interest on credit card used to pay bill will add even more to the misquote. Thanks, Reeder.

My sales experience was wonderful but the service department experience was lacking to say the least. I was told it would take 2 hours to fix the squeaky steering wheel on my brand new 2021 Bolt by Ashley. It took 3 full days! And it still squeaks! She couldnt even tell me what they had done to it. They didnt even start working on it until day 3 in the afternoon. The technician left his cell phone in Im my car and called us after we had got home. We had to meet him and give him his phone. My car was filthy! I expected for it to be detailed. If you have my car for 3 days at least wash it and charge it! It wasnt charged either. Super disappointed.

I took my vehicle here to take care of a recall and decided to get some maintenance done at the same time. The pricing was very good for a oil change and tire rotation. And they were very good about helping me with a Bluetooth issue, but they forgot to change to change my windshield wipers as I had asked at least twice and was discussed with the service writer. It was omitted when it was written up on the order.. My suggestion would be to make sure that all items you need done are on the service order before you leave.

I had a very trying time on the first day my son and I entered Reeder. I had lost my husband in May, and things just wasnt settling right in my head. The young man (Josh) that worked with us was so nice and didnt presser us into anything. Gave me my time I needed to think and talk with my son. Josh was able to answer all the questions we had (especially me) and stayed right on track with everything.

I was three hours into a 15 hour trip when my car wouldnt start after a fuel stop. The issue was either going to be a battery or alternator. AAA was a 20 minute wait just to talk to customer service. I searched for a Chevrolet/GMC dealership in Knoxville, and called the first one I found, Reeder Chevrolet. I called, was transferred to and left a message for Ashley, who immediately returned my call. Meanwhile, a jump-start was successful, and I drove to Reeders (as fate would have it, only 5 minutes from my location) Between Ashley and the repair manager, they somehow managed to move my Yukon to the front of the line...maybe because of the miles I had left to cover or the fact that I was traveling with my show dogs and the temp was 93. They quickly checked my alternator (it was fine) and determined my battery definitely wasnt. After a VERY short wait in the customer lounge and a new battery install, I was headed home. Ive had super working relationships with Oklahoma dealerships all my life (used to race pro-stock cars on my local track, and now keep company vehicles in working order), however, I have NEVER had the immediate service that I received from Reeder Chevrolet!! Even though Im 3 states away, Ill check their inventory the next time I need a vehicle. If youre in the Knoxville area, make them your dealership of choice.

Terrible place to have your car serviced. I owned a 2008 Chevy Impala that continued to show Service Traction Control & Engine Power Reduced. It continuously went into limp mode, wouldn’t get over 20 mph. Reeder told me it was my computer and replaced it. They have looked at it 3 times now, $90 each time they “diagnose” it. $900 later and I’m still having the same issues as before they looked at it. They’re just looking to make a dollar!

Reeder service personnel were helpful and courteous. The reason i have lowered the score is to express my dissatisfaction with the slowness of completing the service. 25 days is too long to wait for a part to arrive. I understand it was a housing for the thermostat. To me, that sounds like a routine part. If it were some exotic computer chip from China I would understand. Contemplating new car, but now I am reluctant considering Chevys slowness.

Came in without an appointment to get just an oil change. They were extremely covered. The young man asked if just an oil change and stated it was. He then committed and had on another rack and was completed within 30 minutes. He went above to make sure it was completed now and not later. The lady at cash register was super polite and checked me out. Really have outstanding people in your service department now then in 2014 when bought my truck there. I had stopped using service department back then. Will use regularly now.

The idea was to shop around at other makes and models but there just so happen to be the SUV that was tops on our list. My experience with this dealership service department is terrible. We took our vehicles elsewhere completely out of our way due to the incompetence and complete rudeness of the service writer but thought we would give it one more chance and it was the same thing, complete incompetence. No one knows what is going on, they did not know where my vehicle was or if it was even done and then they told me it was done but did not know if what I asked for had been completed. When picking up no one told my husband anything, we did not get any paperwork and they didn’t even verify who he was to pick up the vehicle. They just gave him the keys and that’s it. We will never bring anything back to this place!

My grandfather worked for GM for 50 years, my dad has worked for GM for 30 years, and my brother has worked for GM for 5 years - which I was upfront about going in with the sales team. I felt (and still do with interactions I have to have due to things not being taken care of in a timely manner on their part) taken advantage of being a woman and talked down to.I wish I would have gone to a smaller dealership like I did when I got my last car. I love my car but have had a bad car buying experience here. Unfortunately don’t recommend going here as a young woman.

The service was fast but when I purchased my Tahoe I did not receive my key for the locking lug nuts, so when I went for an oilchange and tire rotation I informed them of this. They said they would have to break the lugs off but may not have time, which I totally understood. When my vehicle was ready nothing was mentioned regarding whether or not this had been done so I assumed it had until I looked at my invoice. I assuming it had not since it was not mentioned. I feel like this should have been mentioned and an appointment made to have this done, since this is important for the wear of the tires. Im used to dealing with the truck department and Terry. Terry would have never let my vehicle left without making sure the work was done or it was scheduled back to make sure I was safe and my vehicle was properly serviced.

I purchased a new 2021 Traverse about a month ago. The SD card went bad before I left the dealership and less than 7 days after purchase my odometer cluster panel stop working. I have been to Reeders 3 times( I live 1hr away) and it is still not repaired. They are waiting on the part to be shipped. In the meantime, I am trying a car that I cant tell how fast Im going or how much gas I have. I have called asking for a loaner car with no luck. My navigation will not work because the SD is not working. I am almost done with my free trail on OnStar but cant really use it because of the SD card. A total disappointment in the car and the service.

Contacted Reeder service department concerning my SUVs AC system fluctuating in temp. The first go around the tech assured me that it was blowing at the right temperature although I assured him it fluctuated. My claim was blown off and I was told my AC Unit was functioning fine. Second go around two weeks later I requested a full evac and refill concerning freon and recharge. I was told there were no leaks found and that all mechanisms on the AC unit were functioning properly. One week later the same problem occurred concerning fluctuation. After a major inconvenience and being brushed off by techs and service reps concerning the issue I contacted the supervisor. The supervisor Jerry McDaniel was very rude and refused to accept his techs were wrong. Jerry McDaniel did not respond to an email or attempt to reach out concerning the issue. Money spent with no results at Reeder Chevrolet, and they also rush you out after service with nothing explained. Two weeks later issue persisted took Vehicle to Beaty Chevrolet Knoxville, TN. Great Customer service . Beaty Chevrolet actually took their time and diagnosed the issue. My Vehicle is not functioning properly. I would highly recommend Beaty Chevrolet instead of Reeder Chevrolet.

Dropped my work van off on Friday afternoon, was told it may be the first of the week before they can look at it. I can understand that even if it is needed you all can only do what you can do, Called Monday morning and was told he would check and call me back, no response. Call back Tuesday morning and was told he would let me know something after the techs come in, still no response. Thursday afternoon I call again and am finally told my van is ready. Really poor communication at least I think its actually fixed this time, last time I had to bring it back 3-4 times. Sorry, but I guess Ill have to find another place to work on my vehicle

Nationwide Insurance sent me to these clowns to get an estimate for repairs.So after spending half an hour with these clowns the estimator told me that nationwide had only instructed them to look at the bumper and that he could not give me copies of the information he intended to send to Nationwide. I was furious. And asked several times why I couldnt get copies of this information. Just doesnt make any sense. Needless to say I will never give this place any business.I later spoke with the Nationwide adjuster and she stated that she indicated to review the entire rear end. So basically these people are dishonest lying people that cant be trusted.

On route to vacation in Florida and we started to have issues with our 2020 Equinox. We were to sY the least in a little bit of a panic. We saw the Reader Chevrolet sign and stopped. Would never buy a vehicle from there again, at first the truck seemed great but we quickly realized it was not if I was within the window of returning the vehicle I definitely would. Was also promised a repair to the windshield but the salesperson was not willing to work with my schedule that I had already told him was not set in stone because of being short staffed. I went to Reeder Chevrolet on 5/22. There was someone waiting outside upon my arrival and he asked what I was interested in. I was there only to test drive, with the idea of buying a car within the next month. He told me that I was going to be a waste of his time, refused to let me test drive, and told me to come back when I was “more serious.” The way he came off was extremely unprofessional and showed that they have no desire to help their customers, only collect commission. I then headed over to Beaty Chevrolet where they were extremely excited to welcome me and let me test drive anything I wanted to. I highly recommend trying Beaty over Reeder if you want a kind and considerate sales person.

First of all, my vehicle was supposed to be picked up for service on Monday 06/07/2021 at 8:30am. No one showed up and when I called, I was told that they were short staffed and that I would have to bring in my car. This caused me to be late for the original appointment time. When I stated to the young lady at the service counter, she was rude and asked if I was just now getting to my 8:30am appointment at 9:00am under no fault of my own. I was bringing my 2014 Chevy Cruze in for a covered repair I received a letter about. My car started experiencing the symptoms in the letter and I went and had my car scanned prior to visiting and confirmed that the code that was scanned was covered under the letter I received. I was told by the service department that I had a myriad of other issues that didn’t appear on my independent scan and my original issue “wasn’t detected” on their scan. I agreed to replace my water pump which was a covered repair. As they were replacing my water pump, they informed me that my thermostat was broken and that in order to finish the water pump covered repair, I would have to pay to have the thermostat replaced as well. I don’t believe I should have been charged for that repair if it was necessary to complete the covered repair. I also agreed to an oil change and did not get my car back until that Friday 06/11/2021. I had no vehicle for a week and had to take off time from work and paid $200, when I went in originally to have covered repairs completed. Anytime I would call to get updated on the status of my vehicle, I was on hold for up to 30 minutes at a time, only to be told that the person I was trying to reach wasn’t available. I really would like a refund for everything I was charged for, especially for the sub par service that I received.

1) Buddy Quinn salesperson-phenomenal 5 stars!2) not happy with any other part of this dealership. Tried to change agreed upon trade value of my trade when I drove 1.5 hours to deal with them. What I believe really upset the dealership was I would not let them even try to finance me as to I was already preapproved through my personal bank with a phenomenal interest rate that I frankly believe Chevy would never be able to match. Was told I could make the purchase and trade but couldn’t take possession of vehicle until they had direct payment through my bank. So I worked well with my bank and they placed the loan in my personal account to purchase the vehicle on a DEBIT CARD! (Says something when a federal credit union trusts you like that). Believe they also sent my tag information incorrectly because I received the title at my personal residence with my banks information but my address. At this very point in time would not recommend this DEALERSHIP but would recommend Buddy as a saleman! Great job Buddy and thanks for all YOUR help!!!
