Had the most pleasant experience buying a car here! My husband and I have been looking to upgrade from a sedan to an SUV and have been to multiple dealers, and this by far was the best dealership weve ever dealt with. Tanner was awesome to work with, really helpful and personable. The same goes for the sales manager who also happened to be the GM of the dealership, he was really friendly. And Jerich (if I spelled that wrong I am so sorry!), our finance guy was also a pleasure to work with. All around definitely the best car shopping and buying experience I think we can safely say weve ever had. If I could give six stars for the service I received at Mazda Knoxville, I would. William was amazing to work with. Very communicative and hasnt forgotten the art of a personal phone call. We looked for about a month to find a car and even though we found a couple cars that we would have considered buying, the customer service was so shoddy, it left a bad taste in my mouth and I wanted to love the car and the customer service. So we passed on about 4 other cars. Mazda of Knoxville had the car I wanted and the service I wanted and got done in a day and a half what all the others couldnt figure out how to do in a month. Needless to say, theyve made a Mazda fan out of this Honda girl!

Do not purchase any electrical or special order parts from this dealership!!!They WILL NOT REFUND special order or electrical parts UNDER ANY CONDITION.DO NOT OPEN THE BOX, if you open it it will not be refunded under any circumstance either, even if is a defect.Absolutly horrible service from the parts department. If you are a professional automotive service and repair customer of this company you should take a close look at the small print on the sales invoice before paying for your purchase. Keep in mind that if you are purchasing using their parts delivery service you wont see this policy on the invoice until you have handed payment over to the delivery driver. If you pay by card over the phone when you order your part you wont have any opportunity to see or hear their return policy before receiving the delivered invoice accompanying your part when it arrives unless you have the forsight to ask. In my recent experience they did NOT share this policy in any way other then the invoice handed to my after I handed over my check to them. Nothing was said of this no return policy by the parts salesperson or the delivery person to me prior to ordering or receiving the delivered part. I buy A LOT of parts for my employer and I have never come across a policy like this before. terrible customer relations in my experience.

Well first off I’m not much of taking something to a dealer cause I’m pretty good at turning wrenches but I strained my brain on my Mazda so I took it up their and honestly was the best experience I’ve ever come across Bryce was giving me updates on my car even tho I never asked and offered me a loaner car to top it off but I didnt need it and even the price he quoted me was cheaper then the total bill due..I’m very thankful very him and the mechanic and the dealer for fixing my car and the professionalism that came with it definitely satisfied glad I went there thanks man 💪
Multiple calls placed...the ones that werent forwarded to a voicemail were just flat out picked up and hung up just as quick...provided 0 help ...wasted 35 mins of my time trying to get through to anyone ....if i could rate 0 out of 5 stars i would ...what a terrible excuse for customer service ...in no way has anyone ignored a business call for 40 mins straight ...there is no excuse for that ..would never reccomend to anyone else who drives a mazda!

William, however, was respectful and encouraging and I really felt as if he had my back. This was my first car buying experience, and I couldnt be happier. My daughter is fortunate to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and was in the market for a new car. I considered making a purchase in my home state but after meeting the team at Mazda of Knoxville, I had no reason to go anywhere else. Theres a smiling 19 year old behind the wheel of a shiny, new CX-5 cruising thru the UTK campus this week!
Bought a Mazda Tribute here in 2009. Everything was fine, but then in 2015 oil starts leaking out. I take it to the dealer and they indicate that the engine block is cracked. However, they could install a refurbished engine for around $4500. I was devastated as the warranty had just run out. I declined and told them I would try to find an engine elsewhere, which I did. However, a couple of days later the other mechanic calls me on the road and ask if Im sure that the engine block is cracked? I respond that is what Mazda of Knoxville told me. Because, he indicated that it appears to just be a cracked timing belt cover. The whole repair was just $900! So, my Tribute is still running today. Which I guess is a tribute to Mazda, (ha!), but I will never buy another car here again and I for sure will never have them service any of my cars.

This was my second experience purchasing here and they knocked it out of the park. My sales rep Gaines was great helping me pick out my car. He is very knowledgeable and easy to relate with. Sales manager Oscar went above and beyond to help me in every way possible. Jerich on the finance side helped me get my warranties in check without going over budget. Also dropped the mic on a lower APR. Corey in the service center even fixed my ladies CX-9. If I could give 10 stars to these guys I would. Bought two cars from these guys and they have a very loyal customer!

I dealt with Cory in the Service Dept and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous!!! I also want to mention that Amber in that same department is top notch😁

I wish I had posted this review sooner, as I just found out my favorite service rep Jeff Painter is no longer working with Mazda of Knoxville. Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with every time I brought my car in. I purchased my Certified-Pre-Owned Mazda from another dealer, after which we found there was an issue with the Blind Spot Monitoring that wasnt inspected properly before I bought it. Jeff stepped in like a champ and dealt with an arduous 4-month long battle with the original dealer and Mazda Corporate. Ive been a Mazda owner for 16 years and nearly lost faith in the Mazda brand, but because of the dedication Jeff showed to getting my car fixed I can proudly say I am still a Mazda for Lifer. I hope the rest of the Mazda of Knoxville service team is as thorough, diligent, and attentive to quality of service and customer satisfaction as Jeff was! He definitely raised the bar pretty high up there.

My experience here was great.John, my salesperson, was only on his second day on the job, but he was helpful and attentive. I was a bit of a difficult customer for various reasons, but he sat weekend my boyfriend and I while I tried to figure things out, and he wasnt pushy.The finance for, Gabriel, was also great. Despite me getting a very old car with a lot of miles, he managed to get my payments to somewhere I felt more comfortable with.Overall, I had a great experience!

Recently I helped a family member choose and purchase a new Mazda. I called the previous day to discuss the protocol (COVID) with General Manager Karl Ackermann. He was very polite and accommodating, so I setup and appointment for the following day. He assigned Ben Miller to assist with the test drive, vehicle selection, and sales details.The process was very smooth and Ben could not have been more cooperative in helping us find the right vehicle. We settled on a CX-30 and then we got Karl involved to get to a price fair to both parties. This took only about 10-15 minutes. None of the typical back and forth or the past.The car was ready after a quick trip to the business office to do the paperwork.On a further note, there were some accessories that were to be shipped to me the next week. Well there was a shipping glitch and Ben went out of his way to meet me half way and hand deliver the items. Excellent service.Oh BTW. The car is great!!!!

I recently bought a Mazda CX9 from Mazda of Knoxville. Buying a new car is not one of my favorite things to do. I typically hang on to my cars for 15 plus years due to not wanting a car payment and the typical wheeling and dealing car buying experience. But, this time I had a pleasant experience with William Chrisman and Mazda of Knoxville. William even met me on his day off when I made up my mind on which vehicle I was going with. I am not disappointed, even though I have a car payment, I did get zero percent interest and a beautiful, fun car to drive!

I went to look at a 2008 Hyundai Sonata today. The car was in Good Condition but needed a few things. The key fob didnt work. The hood of the car needed to be painted and both sun visors were broken. The fair market value on the car is $4900. I was paying cash mind you. The salesman tried to deceive me and I feel this is how he was trained. I offered $5200 dollars out the door and they came back with $6900!!!!! I never pay more than book value and this place is out to rip you off! They added a $599 Fee and somehow came up with another $1400 in taxes and tags. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.

I purchased a CX-30 from Mazda of Knoxville a week ago, and overall, I had a very pleasant car buying experience - probably the most pleasant car buying experience Ive ever had. First, they gave me a very good quote on the vehicle in a short period of time, so I didnt have to endure hours of negotiations. They were really accommodating when I asked to check out the vehicle for the 4th or 5th time, or when I asked to give it another test drive, or when I asked to check out other vehicles.The sales associate, Jacob, was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles offered by Mazda. These vehicles with all of the new entertainment and driving features are complex, but he was able to explain everything very well. I also had very positive interactions and good conversations with the sales manager and finance manager. In the past, Ive had dealers try to sneak in extra fees or expenses once you get to the part where you sign, but I experienced nothing like that here. The whole process was very transparent. Overall, I couldnt have asked for more.
Had received a recall by mail on my new CX-5. Call made appointment. Mazda personel were immediately available and were knowledgeable of the recall. The issue was addressed as scheduled and completed promptly!!!Personnel were courteous, professional. Happy Camper here !

I have a collector 1988 Mazda RX 7 that Mazda Knoxville has serviced since I have owned the car. They have done routine service as well as replacing components. They have an excellent service department with friendly helpful staff. Many dealers are reluctant to service or repair and antique vehicle. The staff at Mazda Knoxville has always treated me as if I had just purchased a new vehicle.

Ran my husbands credit 11 times!!!!!!! After 3 and not getting approved they should have called us! Now we wont be able to buy ANYTHING for a year because they were SO GREEDY trying to get him approved! I honestly dont understand how they ethicly ran it 11 times!! I had to call them and tell them to stop otherwise they would have kept running it! I have worked on my husbands credit for 4 years and they have all but undone it all! Please dont buy from them go anywhere else but here unless you want your credit destroyed by them!
In short they almost made my car seize once before from not securing the hose clamp to the radiator properly, and today they over filled my oil almost causing me to almost wreck. And almost cause a wreck behind me with a giant plume of white smoke from burned oil. Then while waiting on a tow truck which thankfully they paid for, I almost got hit by a van with a blow out. Not actually there fault but their actions directly left me on a very dangerous part of I-40E to I-640 E right before the overpass. But at least the manager from twin cities David is super nice and understanding
The initial sales guy (Nate) was great and tries very hard to please you with the basic numbers. Unfortunately at the time to close part of the paperwork has different amounts that the initial proposal (all of them higher) since I have already make my decision not to accept any other additional services (extended warranty, gap, etc etc) my number should remain the same, but the finance guy was extremely pushy and after i decline for 4-5 times his offer I decide to leave the premises. Im giving 2 stars only not for the sales guy who did a very good job, but for the financial team that doesnt understand what means NO. Probably i will buy a mazda somewhere else late this year.

As part of their initiative to give back to healthcare workers, Mazda promoted a nationwide promotion giving free oil changes and car service to providers. I signed up, showed up for my appointment on time, and thought I was taken care of. I found it a bit weird that my visit was extremely fast and that upon leaving the lot my tire pressure light was still on, but the service department gave me a clean bill of health for all components. Fast-forward to two weeks later- my engine light comes on, with a warning that my oil was at 15%. My car is less than two years old and I take diligent care of it. I had to immediately schedule an oil change elsewhere since no one answered when i reached out. In addition, my tire pressures had to get corrected, and I got the components of the service visit broken down to me. Why would you lie about taking care of healthcare providers? You wasted my time and allowed me to leave with a potentially dangerous situation. Dont bother pretending to help out people on the front lines if you are just going to lie about it.

Totally good experience. Salesman was low key on sales, avid animal lover. Met everyone at the dealership from the manager(s) to the water fountain. Everyone was so nice, helpful and pleasant. (The water was refreshing.) Made spending thousands a pleasure. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family (already have).
Not impressed with their service department. I took my “new to me” CX-5 in for an oil change after reading that Mazda issued their own type of oil specific to Mazda. It took 2 hours and once it was done the technician came and informed me they had added a fuel cleaner. I assumed it was a courtesy since I hadn’t asked for it. When I got it to the counter to pay they charged me for it. Nobody reviewed anything from any of the inspection that they say they did. I’ll stick with my local mechanic.
