I visited 84 to investigate closeout windows advertised on Craigslist. I was impressed by the prices, the inventory, and most of all the excellent customer service. Joey ran us around to the various buildings and sold us 7 nice windows. Liam cheerfully helped me load up the trailer. This location is a little out of the way but I will be back. This is a good organization. Thanks 84 team!

Witnessed female driver of delivery truck constantly tailgate vehicles at 65mph on Hwy 129. Less than 2 of space between vehicles at speed. Each time the passenger car moved, she advanced to within 2 of the next vehicle. Repeated this for 7 miles, when she suddenly swerved into the right lane and slammed on her brakes to make the turn. She had 7 miles of roadway to prepare for that turn.

Very arrogant salesman. I was told I could take my business somewhere else if I didnt like how obnoxious my salesman was. Super slow getting estimates together and they do not communicate with you. I would never recommend them to anyone. I was warned by other contractors that I would have trouble out of 84 but they were the only ones that were close to where I was building this house.

HORRIBLE customer service. Rude and incompetent. One person tells you they have items in stock, only to show up and find out the have NOTHING like it. Special order items, and they never get ordered or takes 4x as long to get it as originally told. When you are counting on product to be in stock or arrive on time to get a job done, go somewhere else that has and does what they say.The only reason I gave 2 stars, the stuff they have in stock is fairly priced and they do have some odd-ball items that other places dont inventory..

I bought shingles for a roofing job from 84 lumber. The roofer began the work and after a few squares noticed that several bundles of shingles had mildew stains on them. I called and had new shingles brought out and got even worse mildew this time. The roofer had to go thru the bundles and inspect each shingle before install. At least 50 to 60 percent of the shingles were bad. Finally 84 lumber had to send me to another supplier to finish the job. The first few squares that had been installed had to be torn off and new ones put down. This cost me $600.00 extra for something that was not my fault.
