Hands down best bridal shop ever. They knew by the look on my face that I had found the dress before they even zipped me up! Great to work with, would recommend to everyone!

I found my dream dress here! Everyone was incredible to work with. I came in 9 weeks before my wedding and they were able to get my dress in and tailor it in a short amount of time, even though they were booked up. I like that they have you walk around and pin dresses so that you can decide if you like them before you try them on. My dress fit like a glove, communication was superior, and our consultant, the ladies at the front counter, and our seamstress were all so sweet. So worth it!!

I wish I could give this store less than one star. We made an appointment to see dresses for my daughter’s we showed up on time fully prepared to purchase a dress if she found one she loved. We were never asked our budget but she had no budget I want her to find a dress she loves and was willing and able to pay whatever price it took to find her dream dress. However, instead of a lovely mother daughter moment of finding my daughters dream dress we were treated to a real life pretty women moment several times I asked my daughter do you want to just leave because we were treated so badly she said no let’s just get through this she did fall in love with a dress which I offered to buy for her on the spot she said she wanted to think about once we got into the car she burst into tears stating she loved the dress but she couldn’t give such awful people her business. She would rather choose a different dress than give this place a penny . They were dismissive, rude and unprofessional. Avoid this place at all cost

This boutique was perfect! I originally went to try on wedding dresses to get an idea of what my body shape would look well in and I ended up purchasing my perfect wedding dress! There are so many options available and the staff is very patient and accommodating. I live out of state and the communication with WLP was flawless. They are very on top of their game and I’m SO pleased I found my dress there!

Gracie was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Then, when my dress arrived, I had a great experience with their in-house seamstress. The whole process was easy and stress-free! Currently dealing with all the wedding stress being a month out from my wedding and this place was hands down the BEST I have worked with this whole time. I just found out a month before my wedding that my bridesmaids dresses were backordered due to COVID and the wrong dress was shipped to my bridesmaid and Helena was absolutely amazing in handling this. I had zero stress during this issue because she was able to take care of everything within a weeks time including having the dresses shipped overnight and then offering free, in store alterations to all my bridesmaids to make sure everything is taken care of before the big day. I am SO happy I bought my bridesmaids dresses through WLP because who knows what would have happened with another vendor during this all. I can’t say enough about Helena and her help with all of this!!! Their wedding dresses are absolutely amazing, but also consider going through them for bridesmaids dresses as well because it’s worth every penny!

This was my 1st time wedding dress shopping and it was everything a woman dreams of when choosing a dress! I had Tori and she was so sweet and understanding and made everything seem so easy going! I was referred to White Lace and Promises by a few Brides to be, I have to say this was the BEST experience I had shopping for a wedding dress. I worked with Gracie the Manager and she made me feel comfortable and allowed me to choose my dress versus suggestively pushing me into a dress. I have gone to quite a few bridal store and after one experience with a larger bridal store I was about to give up.The process was very simple and Gracie walked me through the entire store explaining all of the sections of the store. As a plus size bride there were still a lot of options for me to choose from. All of the other brides to be that came into the store while I was there received the same one on one treatment and no one felt crowed with each other. It was warm and inviting and didnt feel like a mass rush during Black Friday.

Love Love Love!! Best experience ever. Im getting married NYE, and we needed to find a dress off the rack in less than 9 days. We found one in 2 days. Its beautiful!! And with the donation to their charity for the holidays we got 20% off the dress!!! The original off-the-rack price was 850$ but with the discount it was 680!! Perfect for a bride like me on a budget. The staff were amazing and made mom and I feel right at home. Perfect place, I didnt wanna leave.

Had the most amazing experience with our consultant Stacy. I traveled about four hours to this particular location to try on a certain dress (they were the only boutique in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana & Tenn to have this particular dress to try on.) I am a regular women size 10, however this designer is known for making dresses very small, so although the dress I tried on was nowhere near my size, our consultant made my experience amazing and really made me feel great and have a good idea as to what my dress would look like on me. I felt so included, I went out to try on other dresses at a place down the road and when I came back they let me try on the dress again before purchasing. The customer service in my opinion (from someone who has a high end retail background) was above and beyond.Thank you ladies so much for a wonderful experience.

I had appointments at a couple of other bridal places first and they just didnt feel right and nothing really felt like my dress. I didnt even know if anything was going to feel like my dress since I had no idea what I wanted. We stopped into White Lace and Promises because we happened to see it driving by, and they got us in without an appointment and were so sweet and found me a dress that was more perfect than I couldve imagined. They were extremely helpful throughout alterations and everything. I just had my wedding this past weekend, and everyone was blown away by the dress, and I felt like a fairytale princess in it. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience. After coming in, exactly on time for my appointment, I was told to wait several minutes for a consultant. Once with the consultant, I was given a tour of the store, then told to find my own dresses. As opposed to the consultant pulling dresses for me in my budget range. Then, in the fitting room, I had to take the dresses on, off and hang them up myself. On top of that, the consultant did not at all listen to my needs. To make matters even more worse, I could not get most of the dresses I tried on past my knees. I am a size 10 woman. I should be able to try on wedding dresses. The sample dresses were NOT inclusive which is incredible wrong. After the service I had received at other bridal shops, I was very uncomfortable here. After only being in the store maybe 25 minutes, I left. I was not at all interested in continuing to feel unimportant, uncomfortable, and poor (though my budget was $2,000.) In the future, please cater to the brides in your store and better develop your consultants. White Lace is one of the most shopped bridal boutiques in the Knoxville area, I am so sad that other brides get this experience that is equivalent to Davids Bridal. Do yourself a favor and go to Lillian Ruth for a more intimate, hands-on, and thoughtful bridal appointment.

I purchased my wedding dress here. The experience was amazing. It was clean and well organized and I would recommend it to any one.

This store was a savior! I had been looking at so many stores to try to find a gown. I started with Davids Bridal and went all the way to Bridals By Lori. Nowhere had anything I was looking for. White Lace and Promises has an absolutely stunning selection of plus size gowns. Truly the biggest selection of gowns above a size 12 that I have ever seen. And everything was so beautiful! Even though the shop had a lot going on, the manager helped me try on the gowns and was very attentive. I have not purchased it yet, but after looking around, I am sure that my dress will be from White Lace and Promises! You will not find a more wonderful, budget-friendly experience anywhere. I will be recommending this shop to all of my engaged friends. I cant wait to order the dress!

This bridal shop is really beautiful, well organized and all around top notch! They had a great selection of plus size dress, which you cant find just anywhere. It makes a curvier bride feel included in a world that sometimes overlooks us, so I really appreciate that. My consultant was Sheri and she was so welcoming and fun... the kind of gal that makes you feel comfortable like youre shopping with a friend. Amazing Place! We had called ahead to schedule an appointment and was told we didnt need one that day due to it being a slow schedule. When we walked in, the front girls said we could look around and if they could work us in, then they would. We approached another woman (Chasta) that worked there and told her the situation. We were an hour and a half out of town. She actually happened to be the store manager. She worked directly with us the entire time, was absolutely phenomenal and patient. I said Yes to the Dress! and I got a cupcake!!! BEST. DAY. EVER! She also worked with me with the pricing so I could afford the perfect dress. This place had so many choices and they are all beautiful, and definitely worth the drive!!! Thank you White Lace Promises for making my dreams come true!

White Lace and Promises was the second dress store I went on my wedding dress search and I looked no further! They were so nice and helpful about fitting me in last minute and Kerres was just absolutely wonderful! The selection was so much more unique and personalized than other nearby shops and I found the perfect dress for me. Wedding dress shopping can be so stressful but with White Lace and Promises it was a breeze and I 100% recommend them!

Had a great experience at White Lace and Promises! Alexis was my consultant and she was really helpful! She made sure to help me in the dress and clip it where it was supposed to fit! So happy with my dress choice! I paid in full, only to realize the next day that a card I wanted my wedding expenses on came in the mail!! I called them and they were happy to switch it over for me for a small fee! Chasta and Morgan also went out of their way to help me and I really appreciate their customer service! The place itself is lovely and adorable. It was busy, but never overcrowded which provided a much more enjoyable experience.

I absolutely loved my experience at white lace and promises! I initially came in with my friend to get a feel of what I wanted and felt no pressure and it was overall a very casual experience. I left feeling uncertain about one particular dress and decided to come back two days later by myself and Debbie helped me make the decision on THE ONE. It’s crazy how you go in with one idea of what you want and leave with something completely opposite. The second time I came in was much more crowded but I never felt rushed and the experience was truly tailored to what I wanted from my experience.

Worse bridal shop we went to treated like we where not even there. We had a high budget and walked out and went down the street to Gilded gown and was treated like a queen. No selecton at all and no help.

From the moment we walked into the shop I felt so welcome! Holly who was helping me was so welcoming and sweet! I felt like we were already friends! Everyone was very sweet and accommodating about my budget. A lot of the time you’re sharing a pedestal with another bride, but it felt very personal here. I had my own mirror and sitting area for my mom and future mother-in-law. And there are SO many options! I definitely recommend this place for any bride!

My daughter just got her dress here and then the bridesmaids dresses. I have been very disappointed with the customer service. My other daughter got married last year and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Whatever happened between then and now has NOT been for the better. My daughter works with brides herself and has said she will not brides to White Lace. It has caused a lot of unnecessary stress. I will say about the only positive has been Kaylee. We had a great time with her.

She made me feel so relaxed about finding my wedding dress. She definitely deserves a raise because this girl goes above and beyond.I also was blessed to work with Sherrie (sorry if I misspelled your name) for a few minutes. She also deserves a raise and a higher discount or something of that sort lolIf I could give this place a 10 star I would.Please, before you go anywhere else, come to White Lace and Promises first :)

So disappointed in the altering service and customer service. I had bought my wedding dress from White Lace & Promises obviously for my wedding. I paid $300 for alterations only for my dress hook on my skirt to fail the day of my wedding. I had to walk down the aisle holding my skirt up (it was a 2 piece ). When I called White Lace and Promises and explained what had happened, the response I get is well when you were here for your final fitting it didnt fall off so there is nothing I can offer you, you can bring it in and have it fixed if you want. WOW is all I have to say about that response. Why would I come pay your company more money to fix what the alterations lady Clearly put on wrong in the first place. Terrible customer service and would not recommend this store to anyone!

Wasn’t pleased. Went with one of my best friends to start looking for wedding dresses and the women at the front of the store weren’t welcoming and were very obvious about talking about other customers in the store and laughing about it. The woman who helped us didn’t listen to the price point that my friend stated and instead chose dresses that were double her budget. She wasn’t very helpful and acted like she had much better things to do and places she’d rather be than helping us. She was extremely rude to us the whole time we were there, and didn’t seem to care about getting to know the bride or learning anything about her wedding. Really disappointed in this experience.

I went and got my wedding dress from White Lace this past January and I had THE BEST experience! Morgan Putty helped me find my dream dress and made me feel so comfortable! She scheduled my bridesmaids for a date when she could help us and they all loved her as well! I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for all your dress needs!!

I have never been so disappointed in the customer service displayed by White Lace and Promises. The brides mom and sister drove all the way from Florida to help shop for wedding dresses. We happened to find the dress earlier in the day at another bridal store. When we called to change the appointment from a bridal gown appointment to a bridesmaid appointment they were happy to do so. Later in the day, they sent a text canceling the appointment and said that they do not offer bridesmaid dress appointments on Saturday and we could reschedule for another day. They did not even have the courtesy to call. Knowing that the brides mom and sister drove 8 hours to be here today, we went anyway. Upon arriving they were extremely rude and told us we can only look and not try on dresses. After reiterating how far family drove to be here with us, they said we could look but would have absolutely no help from any of their associates. It was very disappointing to feel like we were treated so poorly simply because we found the brides dress at another business.

White Lace and Promises made the process of choosing my dress fun and easy. They have an extensive selection with gowns to fit the taste of every bride. The dress I chose was one from their specific label, and I knew as soon as I saw it that it was going to be the one. Great location for selecting the most important outfit of your life!

I would love to have another wedding, just so I could buy another gown from White Lace and Promises! Their service is exceptional. I needed a dress for a family wedding in a specific color, a modest style, and an uncommon size. The saleswoman knew exactly what I needed, and ordered a dress that was just right. The seamstress, Kamesha, is delightful, and a true professional expert. The entire staff is outstandingly friendly, competent, and easy to work with. And, they are up front with you about all the costs, including alterations- no hidden fees, no nasty surprises. The prices are very reasonable considering all they give you. If I ever need another formal gown made, I would eagerly go straight back to WL&P.

I will NEVER go back here. I was charged 100$ for a 2 inch hem that could have easily been done at home. I was not made aware of this until after it had been done. I was told I would pay based on the amount of work needed and this obviously wasnt true. When I asked to speak with a manager I was rudely told that was not possible and they could do nothing to explain why I had this incredible fee FOR A TWO INCH HEM. I have told nearly everyone I know not to go here, they overcharge you for average quality work. There are definitely better options in the Knoxville area.Edit to add: highly recommend Lillian Ruth Bridal, great associates, beautiful dresses, and a much more luxurious shop

My daughter-in-law was recently a bridesmaid in her friends wedding. She was measured and was told they were ordering a SIZE 2 dress. Now she is a very petite young lady but she wears a SIZE 6!! They were told that if they didnt order that day, the dresses wouldnt be there in time.....they came in just 2 weeks later. So obviously the dress doesnt fit because they ordered the WRONG size. It was a simple chiffon dress with lace on top but was still a $200 dress. She was told there they wouldnt be able to do any alterations for her because they waited until the last minute to get the dresses. ALL the seamstresses in Knoxville would never be able to alter this dress so that it zipped up like it originally was meant to. I had to move the zipper down, let the sides out as much as I could AND add loops to draw it up like a corset. BEWARE LADIES WHEN THEY WANT TO ORDER A DRESS THAT IS MUCH SMALLER OR BIGGER THAN YOU NORMAL SIZE! They should always tell you ahead of time what needs to be altered and how much!

I said YES to the dress with Chasta today! Honestly, I’ve tried on at other places and this was the best. Being plus sized I was worried, but she made me feel like a size 2. All dresses could be made to fit me instead of having only a plus size selection. The dressing room area was large which made it feel more intimate with me and my friends and mother while we were discussing options and not on type of the other brides! Thank you so much for making me feel amazing and taking the stress out of finding my dress.

My stylist, Debbie Feehan, took note of what Id written in my appointment request, in addition to what I was saying at the appointment, and found the wedding gown that fit my personality and our wedding day to perfection! Id spent so much time looking and printing off pictures and keeping track of item codes, and in the end never needed to at White Lace & Promises in Knoxville, TN. Thank you so much!

My family and the bride to be (my sister )went here and it was so enjoyable. Holly and Taylor made everyone feel at home and were very attentive. Such a great place for wedding dress shopping and the atmosphere was all positive!

White lace and promises was such a good experience for me as a future bride. Morgan was so sweet and made my time there go so smoothly without any pressure. I had been to a few other bridal shops without any luck, but thankfully WLP had lots of different designers and styles to choose from. I am just so happy with my dress! This was a great experience. I was able to get an appointment quickly. They helped me shop within my budget and did not try to upsale me. I really appreciate the friendly, professional staff. Sheri helped me try on dresses that were flattering to my shape and height. I already bought one dress but was second guessing my purchase so we compared more dresses. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! First of all, the store in GORGEOUS. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! The set up of the store is perfect. You have privacy while trying on, tons of mirrors, and a podium to stand on to make you feel like a true princess while showing your bride tribe your dress! The dresses are wonderfully organized and browser friendly. Also, they are very affordable! I was shocked that the prices were so low because these dresses are the real deal. Great quality! Tori was my consultant today and she was amazing and genuine! She listened and carefully narrowed down what I was looking for and pulled all the right dresses for me. This was my first time trying on any dresses and I had no idea what I was wanting. Thanks to Tori *and everyone else in the store* I left the store with the dress of my dreams and the assurance of knowing that WLP has me taken care of. Today was the fairytale day I have always dreamed of and I cannot thank this store and Tori enough. I am on cloud 9! ❤️

What a Absolutely Beautiful Boutique!!! The Wedding Dresses to choose from were Awesome and there was so many to choose from!!! The Young Lady with long dark brown hair is the one who helped my Daughter!! She was Very Nice and Patient with All of Us!!! She was very thorough with each dress we were interested in and especially the one we bought and all the paperwork!!! We also got a big discount on my Daughters dress with the PERMITION they had going on at the time!! I visited close to 15 different bridal boutiques from Nashville to Bristol and everywhere in between before FINALLY deciding on the dress at White Lace and Promises. I actually visited White Lace two different times before making my final decision, obviously I am very indecisive and thorough in my decision making. However, all of the staff members were super helpful and did not put pressure on me AT ALL to decide on a dress or even to buy from their store. I was there for 2 hours the second visit deciding between just 2 dresses, and they were so incredibly patient with me. They even stayed after closing time to finish the ordering process. Chasta was the sales associate that helped us both times we were there, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding dress. The quality of their dresses, the amazing customer service, and the lovely atmosphere at White Lace create a perfect bridal boutique experience.

I arrived at the shop very nervous and self-conscious. The girl helping me decided to “educate” me on the fabric of the dream dress I wanted. She told me that the dress would show my cellulite, stretch marks, and unwanted fatty areas, but said I still had time to workout. Very rude. I almost left the store immediately. She didn’t help me find dresses or make any suggestions. I hope the next person had a better experience than I did.

I had such a great experience today! Debbie was so helpful and laid back. I was worried about committing to a dress but they made the experience so enjoyable and fun! I would highly recommend this shop!

Walked in with credit card in hand to buy the perfect dress . I was in there for more than 10 min and no one even as much as greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. (There were literally 5 employees standing behind the counter chatting ) I approached them for assistance and was greeted with judgemental eyes and a feeling of unwanted. I was excited to visit this store as I had heard numerous ads and Knoxville has limited wedding stores. Went across the street to Davids Bridal and spent over $1000 on dresses for my bridal party. Word of advice to the workers lose the b*tchy attitudes and your store will be way more successful, I hope no one ever make you all feel the way these females made me feel at this special time in life .

Great selection of dresses and sizes. Kennedy assisted with my daughters appointment on 2/10/18, and she was wonderful. Very personable, knowledgeable, and really took the time to answer any questions we had.

Quick to make a sale and do not care about customer service. Their workers also lack knowledge in how to properly assist putting a dress on the right way. Please take advice and don’t go through what we had too. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I just recently got my wedding dress from White Lace & Promises. This was my first outing to try on dresses and only the second store I went to. I honestly was not expecting to be able to find a gown in my price range, but they were having an amazing sample sale! Morgan Putty was my stylist and I could not have asked for a better person to have helped me through the process. I had just come from a place that made me feel very overwhelmed, I felt like the consultant did not listen to what I wanted, and she kept barging in the dressing room. Morgan was like a breath of fresh air! She made me feel welcome and excited to try on gowns. Their selection of gowns is incredible. They have something for every bride. I had a very specific style in mind and easily found several dresses. In the dressing room, Morgan made me feel so calm and comfortable. If one dress didnt fit, the way she handled it was so graceful and I never once felt self conscious. I ended up going with the second dress I tried on! They gave me plenty of time to think and went WAY out of their way to help me make my decision. Morgan got the seamstress to come out and personally talk to me about the alterations she could make. She got her manager to help show me the bustle options. They even got a male mannequin to put up next to the dress so I would feel confident knowing what the dress looked like next to my groom. I never asked for anything of this, they just took initiative and had the best attitude the entire time. I would HIGHLY recommend White Lace & Promises to every bride. Even if you dont plan to buy a gown from there, the experience they provide is what every bride deserves.

I LOVED that WLP offers high-quality bridal separates. I found my dream dress there. I did experience some confusion about ordering and alterations during the whole process (my misunderstanding), but when I asked, the owner took time to look in to the questions I had, responded quickly, and had great answers. I mostly appreciated the attention to detail and willingness to get everything right. Thank you, WLP!

I had a good experience at WLAP. I went there for the first time trying on wedding gowns, and struggled to find the right style for me, even though I had a lot of pictures. I ended up going back a couple days later after trying other stores in the area, and ended up getting the second one I tried on that day. I wish the first time I went the sales associate helping me put more input in trying to help me find the right fit the first time. She was much better the second time and I love my dress! I even got 15% off and 10% off bridesmaids dresses!

DO NOT order extra length on your dress if you are over 510 as it will be too long (even with heels), will cost you additional money, and will cost you even more additional money to have it hemmed. They DO NOT offer any reimbursements for these fees. I was stuck paying an additional $120 for an already pricey Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dress.

I have to say, I was not excited to go dress shopping. I thought Id love the experience but after going to a few stores with no luck, I had a bad taste in my mouth. My consultant there, Debbie, could sense it. I AM SO GLAD I CAME HERE! she was amazing, made me feel comfortable and eased all my anxiety. Theu had great clips and a pedestal so that the dresses would look good even though Im short and very petite. I found a dress but wasnt completely sure. I felt no pressure to make a decision. I ended up coming back and tried on the same dresses as before. Everyone was helpful and great. Cant wait to go back for fittings! Thanks WL&P!
