Savannah was my stylist and I was immediately greeted by her at the door and felt like we were best friends by the time I walked out. I reserved the VIP room which was incredibly spacious and perfect to accommodate the special people I had with me.Savannah’s intuition is what led me to my dream dress. I wouldn’t have picked it off the rack for myself in a million years, but she brought it to me and when I put it on I just knew. She was so kind to me and I truly felt listened to. After I officially “said yes” I had other stylists who hadn’t even worked with me coming to see me in my gown and congratulating me. Wonderful experience with my daughter’s friend, her mom and two other friends helping her decide on her wedding dress.They have lots of selections, some even on sale and the most helpful staff. Decor and accessories are gorgeous with ample fitting rooms and chairs for friends. I loved this place.The only drawback is it’s in East town mall or Knoxville Center, whatever they call it now. It looks like a ghost town in the mall; so many shops are closed. Belks and Bed & Bath are going out, too. It the mall being renovated or closing for good? We couldn’t get a firm answer. I hope they can make it work.The Gilded Gown is great! I wish them much success. 👰🏻 🤵 ❤️

My mom & I had an appointment at 3:00 and the moment I walked in the door my stylist greeted me with a friendly smile & a little board that said welcome & had my name on it! She offered us water & was so kind to us! I had already been dress shopping that morning at another store & had found some beautiful dresses but none that were THE ONE! I was getting very discouraged as I tried on one after another. My mom found a ballgown(which I was very against) & suggested I try it on. When I put it on I still was unsure but the second I stepped on the pedestal I knew! I had stylists that weren’t even working with me telling me I looked beautiful in every single dress & the customer service was just FANTASTIC! I’m so happy to say that I said YES @ The Gilded Gown!

Such an amazing experience ! The staff is soooo nice and helpful! The selection was fantastic ! I think the only thing that would make it better is if they would do the alterations but they leave a list of companies you can use which is nice ! My 13 year old had formal and we made an appointment here at Gilded Gown to look at dresses. The school didn’t give the go ahead for formal until a week and a half beforehand so all the dresses were picked over everywhere! We were hopeful we’d find one at Gilded Gown but they were all too big and because the school didn’t tell us until last second, we had no time for alterations. I’m giving the five star review because the lady who helped us was super nice and not pushy at all. Also, it wasn’t their fault we had to rush last minute. The store was nice and organized too. The women are nice and don’t give off a snotty vibe either which I really appreciate. Cant stand places like that.I just wanted to leave a review because we did have a good experience here although we didn’t find the dress. Wish I could recall the woman’s name who helped us.

We had a great experience shopping for prom with my daughter and her friends. It was early January 2021, so COVID protocols were in place and appointment was required, but all 3 girls were allowed to try on dresses and had a great time. I love the spaciousness of the location and the welcoming, accommodating staff. My daughter found the perfect dress for her. I was torn between a couple when I asked the stylist what she thought. She pointed out how my daughter’s face lit up when she tried on the dress we ended up purchasing and she was so right! We’ll be back next year and probably again when it comes time to purchase a wedding dress.

I had a great experience at The Gilded Gown. I never planned on buying a dress at a store but couldnt pass up the one I found here. Our stylist spent almost 3 hours with me and let me try on over 10 dresses, which worked out because I picked number 11. I felt like a princess and yes, I made the groom cry. We even got the dress and veil on sale so that made me even happier.

My family and I drove two hours away to search for prom dresses and all the stores we had visited previously had poor selection. We were about to give up hope and call it a day when we found the Gilded Gown. They were kind enough to take us in without an appointment ( thankfully there were few enough people there that they could squeeze us in ). Immediately we felt welcomed and cared for, far better than any other store we had visited before! They were very safe and cautious about Covid, which was very reassuring.They were very understanding and were not pushy at all! The amount of dresses they had for ALL sizes was amazing! Each store we had visited before had about ten or so gowns for sizes 22 or above, but this store had an entire section. Everyone was so polite and easy to work with. Both my sister and I bought our prom dresses from the Gilded Gown and cant wait for prom to show them off! They make dress shopping such a positive and vibrant experience that I am more than willing to drive the two hours or so in order to shop there again!!! I highly recommend checking out the Gilded Gown before any other store when dress shopping.Not only do they have wonderful dresses in so many sizes, but they also have a great selection of accessories and a really fun photo op that can be used for social media and its just a great, wholesome experience overall!

I had an amazing experience today at The Gilded Gown in Knoxville, TN! We drove an hour from our hometown just for an appointment here and they DID NOT disappoint. I fell in love with a dress online and they already had it ready for me to try on when I got there. I actually ended up in another gorgeous gown that I did NOT want to take off! Also, I want to give an extra big shout out to Diane for being so sweet, patient, and honest with me the entire time! I was NOT rushed as she helped me try on multiple dresses and made sure they fit perfectly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Diane for making me feel special! You are truly a blessing!

We found my daughters dress in February 2020. When covid shut down her entire junior year of high school we waited patiently for senior prom. The lady that helped us was Fantastic. It has been over a year so I have forgotten her name. There was a great section and any size you may need when we were there. We did not feel rushed and did not feel pressure to buy anything or to hurry. I highly recommend the Gilded Gown. Thank you so much for making my girls day perfect.

I LOVED my wedding dress so much, sometimes I have to pinch myself to remind me that it was really mine. I could not be more satisfied with the customer service at Gilded Gown, as well as their selection. They go above and beyond to make sure the bride feels comfortable, but also gives her enough space to make a decision about THEE dress. They have a wide selection of jewelry, veils, & headbands as well that can be bought with a discount after purchasing a wedding gown. They had the most beautiful veil I had ever seen and it matched my dress perfectly :) My dress was actually apparently a crossover prom/wedding gown but it sure looks like a wedding gown to me! The dress was shipped super quickly and I was called/emailed as soon as it was received in the store. When I had questions, they were responded to very quickly via email. Thank you Gilded Gown for helping me find the dress of my dreams! Grace in particular was fantastic but so was everyone else!

When I walked into the Gilded Gown I was terrified. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and I had no idea what I was looking for! Diane talked to me and took me right over to the dresses. Within seconds she had me laughing and all my stress was gone. Diane and the other girls hyped me up and cheered along with my family when I said YES to my dress. They even cried along with me! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! I will always recommend The Gilded Gown to every upcoming bride!

I found my dream dress for only $500 at the gilded gown! A dress that would most likely cost $1200 at David’s bridal. The atmosphere is amazing and the workers are extremely sweet! The girl helping me truly wanted to help me find my dream dress and it didn’t feel like I was just another person they’re trying to get money from and out the door! The nice thing as well is that you buy and take the dress home with you that day and if you buy the dress there all their accessories and veils are 50% off! They had a cute wall to take pictures at and also sent me home with a goodie bag of candles, bath and body work soaps, etc! 10/10 recommend! I said yes to my dress!

I made a bridal appointment at the Gilded Gown about a month ago, and the day was yesterday. I walked in, so nervous. I am not the weight I will me for my wedding, and I’m due for surgery on my knee soon. My main goal for today was to find the style I wanted, and wasn’t expecting to find THE dress. Diane was my stylist, and I swear.. that women was impeccable. I tried on different styles, even a few that I had initially said absolutely no, to. I fell in love with the 3rd dress.. but I wanted to be certain so I tried on about 7 more. Mrs. Diane was so sweet, understanding, and listened to everything. If it wasn’t for her, and for Gilded Gown.. I wouldn’t have picked my dress. Not to mention, it was on sale! I even bought the veil she showed me with my dress. It was all so perfect. My wedding day is going to be everything I want and more, and it’s starting with the perfect dress. Thank you Gilded Gown and Diane!

We stopped by and didn’t know to have an appointment. They let us in and gave us a look around at different capes and veils. Katie took her time with us and showed us different crowns. Then she got us a discount on the cape to help us with our purchase. Thank you so much!!!

Where to start...we should have known how bad the experience was going to be when we walked up and the doors were locked and hardly anyone was in the store. I had a 1pm appointment for bridal and had one guest with me, my step-mother. I booked this appt. about a month ago and filled out a survey about wedding date, price range, etc. that didn’t matter because I had to explain it all again.I was told I would need to pull all the gowns myself but the “stylist” would show me the sections that would best fit my style/budget and assist as needed. After explaining my budget and things I was looking for in a gown, I was told by the stylist, “we don’t really have anything for you, but you can look in this section.” I explained again that I’m willing to move my budget up by several hundred dollars for the right dress and that the gowns I found at Vow’d (who were extremely professional and way better customer service) were over my goal price point and even different from my original idea. The stylist didn’t tell me until after I pulled the two dresses I was able to find that I would only be able to get off the rack as is dresses and that the order time for gowns was 9-12 months. My date is roughly 10 months away. I also told the stylist the other bridal shop placed me in an 8, but she would only show me the sections for size 4. When my step mother asked about looking in other size sections the stylist snapped back stating she recommends her looking in the other sections.Beside the lovely customer service we received, the dressing room I had was absolutely disgusting. There were used tissues from I’m guessing another appt. left in the room and streaks down the wall that looked into a brown spot/stain on the floor from what looked like some attempt to wipe the walls down. So disappointing being at how amazing their instagram account looks. All in all we arrived roughly around 12:45 and were home by 1:30.

I came to find a dress a few days ago for my prom. At the beginning they was very nice. But as we went on picking dresses she was picking out the dresses for me. Which I would have personally liked to pick them out myself. When I was trying the dresses on. They come in and help if you can’t get them zipped up. I opened my door and couldn’t find her and you know I closed the door back Bc they were men in there and I was holding a dress up so nothing would show. Then she came back and got so mad and frustrated with me. After she disappeared and I couldn’t find her. Other than that it’s a great place to get a dress plenty of options . Just other than some of the workers need to stay with their person they are trying to help and not leaving and getting frustrated easy. I ended up buying a dress because I liked it but I about walked after she was being rude. But like 3 mins later she acted like nothing happened. Only rude while in the dressing rude. Other than a few cranky workers this is a good place. Just a little pushy. Depending on if your shy or not.

Wow, Gilded Gown was wonderful! I drove by the store and saw that it looked beautiful, but didnt have an appointment, so I called to see about getting an appointment and they let me come in right then and there! My consultant, T, was amazing! She was so kind and sweet and really understood my vision and what I was looking for. She pulled so many beautiful dresses for me to try on and even went back to check a few times to make sure she had pulled everything she thought I would like. When I narrowed it down to two favorites she completed the look for me with veils and even flowers! She definitely went above and beyond! She was very patient with me and I never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything. We had so much fun at Gilded Gown and it was an excellent experience, I highly recommend them to everyone!

Rudest people EVER!!! We were here from out of state looking for a prom dress. they would not even let us look at their selection. pretty suspicious to me. are their gowns stolen or what?! RUDE AND NASTY!!! The woman that was the keeper of the door was rude, nasty, and unprofessional!

I purchased my daughter dress for $564.00 in March for 2020 prom. Due to Covid-19 prom was cancelled so I left a voicemail asking for refund. No one never replied back. I emailed them later and a copy of my receipt was sent to me no refunds and was told to try and sell it online. Everyone else worked with customers and gave refunds except Gilded Gown. I will never use or refer anyone to Gilded Gown. Please before purchasing a dress make sure it’s what you need and want cause they will not make any exceptions.

I didnt have the best experience here. I first came for an appointment in September 2019, and back for a second a few weeks later. I was having trouble finding my perfect dress and had been to four places by my second appointment. At my second appointment, the sales associate helping me told me that all the bridal boutiques have basically the same thing, and that since Id been to four places, I probably wouldnt ever find my dream dress. Not really what a bride wants to hear...and I did find my dream dress elsewhere. Wasnt too impressed with this interaction, and personally, I didnt like many of the dresses they carried. My first experience here was good, but the second visit really tarnished the whole thing for me.

I came into The Gilded Gown just to browse. I was with only my mom, didnt even bring my bridal party along because this was my first dress shopping experience and I assumed I wouldnt be finding THE dress on my first stop. Much to my surprise, I was very wrong. The first dress I tried on was the one. However, I was skeptical that I could have already found my dream dress. I tried on 12 more dresses, but came back to the first dress two more times and ended up deciding to purchase the dress that same day. I still have absolutely no regrets. I felt beautiful on my wedding day. The prices are also amazing on all their dresses. They can work with any budget. The staff are also incredibly helpful and encouraging.

This store is quite the jewel in whats left of Knoxville Center mall. I went into the store with my fiance and was immediately greeted by Emily. She was extremely helpful with helping me navigate the large selection of dresses they had to offer. She was very patient with my indecisively but ultimately helped me pick the perfect dress! I absolutely loved my experience and would highly suggest this store to any bride looking for the sheer variety.

I had a bridal appointment to look for a dress, and the staff was very kind. The atmosphere is a little more casual than some of the other bridal boutiques Ive visited (I like that), but the store is so beautifully lit and decorated. The staff doesnt work in commission (I asked) so theres absolutely no pressure when trying on dresses.They also have the nicest fitting rooms and the best goody bag out of all the other places Ive had appointments. ❤

We shopped yesterday for my daughters senior prom dress. She is plus size, so shops in our area have a very limited selection.I was amazed at the selection and size range they have. Brittany helped us select and try dresses and she was very sweet and patient. We found her perfect gown for a fair price and were treated very well. We drove 2.5 hours and it was totally worth it. I will be recommending them to everyone!

I shopped here about a year ago for my wedding in late 2018. The staff was nice, but not very knowledgeable. It was honestly kind of awkward. I had taken screen shots of two dresses I seen they posted on their Facebook page to show them. When I said that, they looked at one another and said they just sold both of those dresses. Seriously? That’s highly unbelievable. Considering I was the only one in the store and I was there a good hour and a half. They just didn’t want to look for them. Now on to how their dresses fit, if you have a smaller waist and bigger hips like I do, this is NOT a place for you. All their dresses fit really skinny people with no hips to be seen, or bigger women. Which that is great they have so many different sizes. But how about getting some now for women with hourglass figures? Because if there was any in this store, they never pulled them for me. I tried on 12 different dresses and not a single one fit. NOT ONE. It was very discouraging. I went to David’s Bridal and found my dress within 30 minutes. I would never recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good quality dress, or if you have a smaller waist and bigger hips. You will be wasting your time and leave extremely disappointed like I did.

Me and my daughter just decided to stop in and look around we didnt have an appointment. The staff was amazing!!!!!With no appointment my daughter was treated like a Queen two of the nice ladies step in and started pulling dresses in the size and style she liked. We had stopped in three other stores. The slection was not comparable. There where several other customers and all where being treated like Queens. I would definitely make an appointment to help the staff prepare for your day. They are letting us come back with the wedding party to show them. THANK YOU DIANE AND STAFF AT GILDED GOWN!!!!!

Put my prom dress on layaway there, yesterday! Such a wonderful experience!!! The staff made my mom and I feel like their goal truly was to make sure that I found a perfect dress, despite being extremely busy. They had a wonderful selection of dresses, very hospitable employees, and a nice store in general. So pleased with the Gilded Gown!

I went to the Gilded Gown back in May and fell in love with the store, the associates, and the dresses! I’d had previous bad experiences with other stores putting me in dresses that were two and three sizes too big saying “they’ll look better once they’re altered” because they didn’t even have my size in stock. When I walked into The Gilded Gown and Summer showed me all of the dresses they had in size it made me feel so amazing! She also told me that we could order a dress for me in a different size if I fell in love with something that didn’t fit right! She was so nice to me and so were the other ladies working! I didn’t purchase that day but I’ve since found a dress there that I adore and that makes me feel beautiful, and it was well within my budget!

They had the perfect dress. Lots of selection compared to other bridal shops. Would highly recommend

The Gilded Gown has successfully provided the perfect gowns for 2 brides and high school prom. The dresses were all beautiful and the staff was never pushy or overbearing. We received just the right amount of guidance and suggestion that left us with smiles and excitement. We still have more weddings and and prom dresses to buy and will definitely head back to The Gilded Gown. 4 daughters different shapes and sizes!

I bought my dream dress for my wedding here! Everyone was so wonderful and helpful, and made the experience so fun for me and my sisters! They also knew my budget and didnt push me outside of it! They were all just absolutely FABULOUS

This was by far the worst experience you can imagine! The staff was nice but had no idea what they were doing! Even after showing several photos and explaining what I was looking for they were unable to pull a single option. The quality of the dresses were poor and good luck seeing yourself in them with the 2ft mirror provided in the so called, “dressing room” aka one person tent they zip you up in. One star is a stretch!

Gilded Gown was the most flexible wedding dress shop I encountered in my search. They were upfront about their pricing structure and their available sizes. In other shops I talked to they only had sample sizes and I would have to buy of the rack because they didnt carry larger than a size 12. I tried on probably 20 dresses at Gilded and found the perfect one and it was in budget. Their customer service was exemplary as well.

My daughter found the perfect prom dress here. We spent forever at another shop in Knoxville wading through very expensive dresses, waiting forever to try them on and she didn’t like any of them. We went to the Gilded Gown and she could easily find dresses in her size. She tried on six and liked all but one. She had a hard time deciding but finally picked the one she liked best. The associates were helpful and nice. I’ll be back.

The experience in the shop was good. Friendly employees, etc. Unfortunately, now that I have the dress home, the color is off and the beading has several badly damaged spots. Furthermore, after viewing my EMAILED,unsigned receipt, I was charged a higher price than what I was told. I was never given payment options and was told I had to purchase that day to receive the price (which somehow is higher even before tax). Lots of pressure to buy a dress that I HATE and no options. No one offered me alterations and once I reached out to the shop for help, ever so conveniently they kept the original dress tags that indicate what they charged me was correct. Im currently trying to resale this dress so I can get another.

We recently went to The Gilded Gown to look for a prom dress for my daughter. The whole experience was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful. They were not overbearing or pushy, which helped us not to feel rushed or pressured into buying something we were not sure about. I highly recommend this store. The Gilded Gown has a fabulous selection--tons of dresses for all shapes and sizes. The professionals there are very friendly and will help style you from head to toe to make you look your best. I love that they accept appointments so that you dont have to wait to try on the dresses you love, and I would definitely recommend them as a place to start looking for a wedding dress.

This is not the place to go if you want to find your dream wedding dress. The whole time felt extremely awkward and not once did the ladies help me find a dress after multiple pictures were shown. My mom had to help me into every dress and fit it to me with clips. Then after all that I felt pressured to buy a dress which I did and got home and hated the way I looked in it, cried over it. Now they won’t take a return on it even with the tags still on and the receipt. This store is unprofessional and unreasonable. Wouldn’t recommended this place to my worst enemy.

I have to be honest. I only rated this 1 star because I needed to leave my experience here for whomever is thinking of going here to search for a wedding dress. As soon as I told the girl I was here to try on dresses, she cut me off mid sentence to ask me when my wedding date was in a very rude way. As if she didnt believe I was getting married and I was only there to make her day harder. Then she proceeded to tell me none of their dresses would fit me. Im a size 8. I tried to ignore the comment and kept looking for dresses, until she approached my maid of honor and I again to tell us how none of their dresses would fit me, they all ran small. I was already nervous to try on dresses because it was my first time ever and Im already self conscious about my body, so I decided to leave. I couldnt let that be my first memory of trying on wedding dresses. My maid of honor was shocked that this girl would say that to me 3 times.

The Gilded Gown staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend this to anyone in need of a formal gown or a wedding dress! It is the best store of its kind!

Wonderful sales people - very helpful and patient, but we just could not find a wedding dress that was the one. They did have some beautiful dresses, though, so you may be able to say yes to your dress there.

Have been twice to try on dresses and Summer is amazing. It is a very relaxed environment and everyone is so helpful.
