This rating is for the bakery department at Turkey Creek. I purchased a cake for my niece’s birthday because I didn’t have time to make one. I gave very detailed directions and photos via email and in person about exactly what I wanted (which was very simple in my opinion). The cake costs around $50.00...I brought in the flowers and butterflies from Sugar Bakers which were an additional $20.00 because Publix didn’t have anything like that. The idea was to have icing flowers and the sugar pieces mixed in to look similar to a garden. Anyways, I pick the cake up and it’s only half decorated (and extremely poorly decorated as well) and only the sugar pieces that I provided were added to the cake! When I picked it up, I was told that the cake was supposed to sit against a wall (being that is was half decorated). Now, I’ve never in my life heard of this concept. To top it off, the writing looks like a preschool student wrote it and the layers of the cake didn’t have icing in the middle (that I specifically requested).Once the manager saw the cake, he offered me a full refund (that’s how bad it looked in person). That is the only positive that came out of this situation. I did have to bring this cake to the even because it was minutes before.

First time here an I do believe its a winner for me & my family my son love the fresh hot bar & salad 🥗 bar but there are some crazy drivers but I can manage

Publix is my favorite store. Their bread is fantastic, only brand I will eat. Publix half hams are the best. All cashiers and employees are great for customer service, excellent!!We have an empty Harris Teeter store on Harbour View Road in Suffolk, Va. Please put one in there or Carrollton, VA. The store will do fantastic in this area. Thank you.

The store is always clean and neat. The aisles are wide enough that you can actually shop even if youre meeting someone and need to pass. I like their meat department better than most. My husband ordered my birthday cake from there. They did a nice job with flavor and decoration. I used to create wedding cakes so my standard is pretty high when it comes to cakes.

This store is awesome I love Publix its my go to anytime I need a special cake for important occasion. They have small cakes large cakes frozen cakes fresh cakes. A few weeks ago I bought a beautiful white layer cake with chocolate drizzle on top and strawberry Filling. It was beautifully decorated with glazed whole strawberries on the top. The host of the party paraded the cake around like a treasure. This occasion, I bought 3 cakes for my husband birthday party. One large vanilla with coconut, one small carrot, and one a small chocolate ganache. All three were wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Prices high here. Thats a fact. They do have good choices and more name brand items. Store clean, well organized, and workers friendly.

This location does not hold up to the Publix brand reputation. Some of the the deli folk seem bothered that you’re ordering a sub that requires them to cut meat not already sliced for instance. Not my problem, in fact it is literally your job…Checkout had one lane open, but did have 4 self check outs open.Store was clean and bright which is a Publix hallmark, however so is the cold temperature - which infuriates me. It’s wasteful and no one enjoys freezing their ars off waiting on an employee “in a mood” making your food and giving you attitude, then ALL of them failed to meet the Publix service standards of greeting, smiling, making eye contact, generally acknowledging customers let alone appreciating them.I used to work for Publix and with it came some level of pride and esteem, this location detracts from that, and only because of its staff - easy to rectify with good leadership.

The bakery folks at Publix Turkey Creek provided my daughter with the most beautiful wedding cake created exactly as was expected.

This is my favorite grocery store. They always have wonderful produce, great customer service, and the products I need. I do wish they would bring back the crumpets and the Lyon’s Tea they used to carry.

Very nice store, but an employee left a sour taste in our mouths. We asked if they knew where to find an item, & they responded bluntly, its either on the shelves or not!. After looking for a while ourselves, we found it in a weird location, not with the rest of the same product.

We were visiting in Knoxville over the weekend and stopped by Publix since it was right down from the hotel we were staying at. We are originally from Florida so we were super excited about there being a Publix to go to. Everyone was so friendly and the selections of everything we wanted like when we visit Florida were right on time. We picked up a wrap and sub with some delectables from the bakery and everything was so good and fresh. It was right on time after having such a bad experience from a chicken place the night before. Sometimes you have to just stick with what you know you can’t go wrong with, especially when traveling. We will definitely make this location our go to when we visit Knoxville.

Not much can be said about Publix that already hasnt been said. The stores are always immaculately clean and the workers are friendly. Its never too terribly busy when I visit this location so I can get in and out pretty easily. Havent seen them load groceries into patrons cars for quite a long time, and my guess would be social distancing due to COVID which is understandable. Prices are higher than any other grocery store in the city but because they keep their shelves stocked amidst the pandemic, the areas clean, and friendly staff, Ill pay the premium for a seamless shopping experience

Deli staff is amazing is all I can say. The employee who helped me, Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Not only that, but she made me laugh. Made it feel very homey, definitely coming back again.

Clean store. Helpful staff. Convenient location. Parking is adequate for the area. Wheelchair accessible. Good amount of inventory, many options too choose from. I just wish they would stock Inca Cola or Jupina for us transplants from the Publix capital of the country, Florida.

This Publix forces you to use self check out. They will have one maybe two checkouts open with a cashier then push everyone else to use self. While line gets longer for self they wont open up another lane. If Im going to do my own shopping, my own ringing up and my own bagging then give me a discount!

Dont bother placing online orders. its quicker if you show up and place your order. my order was to be ready at 11:30. 9 people showed up after I did and had all their orders made and they all left before me. I waited in store am extra 25 mins after my scheduled pick up time

Went in to grab a few things on my way home. Found everything I needed and a few things I didnt. Check out was fast and friendly. Rhonda R. is so very nice and knows how to have timely cashier to customer conversation without holding up her line. She is awesome.

Publix is always a treat. Has those unusual items you cannot find in other groceries. We traveled from Bristol TN and made a point to find a Publix. We do not have one where we live. Miss this store so much.

I was disappointed. Publix used to be a full service grocery store with fantastic employees. Today there was only one staffed checkout and self serve. If I want lousy service, I can go to Walmart and pay less. Also, the self checkout was horrible. It insists everything go to the bagging shelf, which is impractical with many items.

I had placed my order for pickup at 3:25 but it wasnt ready and Im sure he noticed my annoyance because I mentioned it was my second time coming here and my pickup order wasnt ready and he said my sub for free. Needed a birthday cake last minute for a 90th birthday. The lady who took my order over the phone was so easy to give my ideas to. Picked up the cake on Dec.10th. It was even more beautiful than I expected! Shout out to whoever it was who helped me. My mother was so happy and the cake was delicious! Moist and whipped icing was perfect!I will be back!

Very Helpful! Needed a last minute floral arrangement delivered and DJ in produce was able to not only help me out but got it arranged and delivered within 1 hour from my initial call!! Plus the arrangement only cost 60 bucks compared to the 100 arrangement i had previously ordered from a bad website! Highly recommend!

Publix is the best grocery store. You always hear that it’s much more expensive than other grocery stores, but it’s honestly not that bad, especially if you watch out for sales and coupons. The cleanliness and organization impresses me every time I shop! Also, their hot deli is much more than a grocery store hot deli. It’s so good, especially the chicken tender sub - it is DELICIOUS!

So... I did the online pick up and the lady I believe might have been a manager twice now refused too speak to me and was very odd. I tried too ask her a question and she just ran off. I literally looked at her and said hi twice she looked at me and kept loading my groceries. So strange it has happened twice so I know it’s not a coincidence. I wish the people there were friendlier what’s it hurt too just say hi and thank you. How about not run off and answer a question. So awkward. For this reason alone I will not be back.

One of the better Publix locations. Wish they would staff the registers. If you want me to do self-checkout then provide an incentive. Not so happy about inflated grocery prices when I have to spend the extra time doing my own checkout. This store has alot of staff! So many staff in the aisles stocking during peak shopping hours. Creates an increase in the traffic in the store.
