If I could rate higher I would.I am so grateful to Grayson Hyundai! As we know, things are a little weird right now. I live in Florida, so extra weird. I had a deposit on a vehicle at a dealership local to me in July, and the vehicle kept getting delayed due to the chip shortage. Finally, after third delay I decided to look nationwide for vehicle as there were none for sale in Florida. There were 3, in the whole country. And Grayson Hyundai just happened to be the closest! I reached out to them, and got in touch with Jacqueline who is absolutely incredible. When you buy or lease a car it can be so frustrating, my first vehicle purchase was 2 years ago at a dealership close to home, and I could not recommend that experience any less. I told Jacqueline my terms, what I was willing to spend, and she didn’t try to push that any further which I really respected. I have been to countless dealerships these past few months, and unfortunately it still seems there’s a stigma about women in vehicle, and at car dealerships- I didn’t feel taken advantage of, or that I got a less deal, which was most certainly the case at the last dealership I purchased from. It was about a 26 hour road trip, and I would most certainly make the haul again to purchase from them. Honest, stuck to their word and I couldn’t be more pleased with my 2022 Hyundai Tucson.Jacqueline’s boss Rick was also really lovely and they all respected our time and were very efficient. Jacqueline knew every single detail about my vehicle, which I really admired. Ditto was our money man and he made the process easy and to where I felt knowledgeable about everything I was signing. So happy with my experience at Grayson Hyundai!!!!!

In this 2021car buying era when a car dealership can just about screw you on any deal, we were treated very well. Only a slight dealer marker up over msrp($750ish). No hassle of added fees. We shopped all day test driving many makes marked up as high as $2000k over msrp.

Ive purchased two cars now from the Grayson dealerships and couldnt be more pleased. Jacqueline Griffith made my experience painless and was hassle free. Conversation started via email because she noticed my leased Subaru was over on miles and I still had over a year left. I responded by asking what my options were and never thought shortly after that and a few text messages later Id be leaving with a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat. In the past buying a car was an all day ordeal and left me exhausted and overwhelmed. Not with Jacqueline, I was in and out of the dealership. Drove off with a huge smile on my face! Go to Grayson and ask for Jacqueline. You wont regret it.

Not much of a selection right now. That is the case everywhere, so that is to be expected. We found the exact car that we wanted though, but we had to wait to till the next day because they were closing. We were told that we could pick back up the next morning, so that was fine. Well, we were told the next morning that the car was dealer traded overnight. It was traded for a similar model, so we said call us when it arrives, we will take it. It was sold out underneath us too.

I have never been to a dealership that is so backwards. We had preapproval from our credit union but they wanted a check in hand at 7pm on a Tuesday when banks are closed. They would not accept a promissory note and would not even hold the vehicle for 24 hours for me to bring in a check. This is not how the car buying process is. I have worked for 4 dealerships and this is not how it goes. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money. AVOID!

Terrible service department. Went in near the beginning of the year because my Sonata was burning oil. They told me they had to do an oil consumption test. They changed the oil, and I came back after 1,000 miles. 2 quarts low. Came back in another 1,000 miles. 3 quarts low. Came back for the third and final test. 2-3 quarts low again after driving 1,000 miles.I was under the impression I would be getting a new engine, as mine had proven to be faulty. Instead, the dealership requested service records and a copy of my registration. We played phone tag for weeks, with my calls and messages often just being ignored. At one point, I dropped my car off under the assumption that some type of work was to be done. They gave me a loaner, but didnt do anything to the car other than look at it apparently.When they finally agreed to perform repairs, they stated they were going to clean my engine to see if that fixed it. Later, I was informed that they were also installing a seal. I voiced objections, but was told that if this didnt work, I would be getting a new engine.I was told that a loaner car was not available. I ended up rearranging my entire schedule because I was without a car. After getting a ride to the dealership, I was informed that the repairs would take longer than anticipated. They finally gave me the loaner.After having the seal installed, I came back in 1,000 miles, and everything seemed fine. However, when it was time for an oil change, I discovered that it was again burning oil and 2 quarts low.Scheduled an appointment with Grayson this morning. Service advisor informed me that they would have to do another oil consumption test, and I would have to let them change my oil (at my own expense for about $45-$50 right after having an oil change done somewhere else), then come back in 1,000 miles, then come back in another 1,000 miles.I have been getting the runaround for almost a year from Grayson. Driving around in a car that is unreliable and unsafe. Many Hyundai engines have caught fire due to such defects. If you read about Hyundais engine defects, drivers have been stranded on the side of the highway in burning vehicles. I have no faith in Hyundai as a manufacturer or in Graysons service department.

Dont expect much from the salesmen. The managers and salesmen I dealt with have the personalities of a rock. Also, they dont listen. Bought a car paid cash, asked them to have paperwork ready for my arrival. Offered them a deposit to have everything ready. Car was supposed to be detailed. Nope. Paperwork ready to sign. Nope. Sat for an hour while they did everything that was supposed to be ready for my arrival time, which I told them the day before and reminded the day of. At least the car is what I expected of it.

I have to say...the customer service has been phenomenal! I never imagined that individuals at a car dealership could be so friendly, courteous, and personable! I know, I know...youre probably thinking, Yeah, they are car sales, of course they act nice, and sure...the little interaction I had with the sales department, it wasnt too bad when I got upgraded...but the service department has been awesome! Not a single complaint about anyone I have interacted with...and Brandon, that guy has superb people skills!

Making an appointment was quick and easy. The assembly-line style service is fantastic. The staff that greeted us and then got me checked in were friendly. It was nice to see employees wearing face masks! The waiting rooms were clean with social distancing protocols in place. The restroom was also - pleasantly! - quite clean with auto-dispensing hand soap and paper towels for not only drying hands but to use to open the door (inward). Our wait wasnt long. The needed service was completed but the walk around service was just as important! A small leak at the oil pan and a cracked radiator (i knew about) were noted (NOTE: radiator was replaced yesterday! :-) ) I also believe the air was checked in the tires and adjusted accordingly. Checkout was also just as fast and pleasant. Reasonably priced and our service rep checking us out was just wonderful!!THANK YOU!!

Long story short. I went to look at a used vehicle for our 16 yr old daughter. The sales person, Greg Vittetoe, was very uninterested in addressing my questions and concerns about the air conditioning having poor air flow, not very cold and making a noise. The generic answer I received was we price our cars according to whats wrong with them. Wow. That absolutely told me nothing....other than to stay away from this dealership. If this is how they conduct business, then there should be a widescale internal audit of the staff and their dealership practices. As much time, effort and attention Grayson has ( and still continues to) put into various organizations in and around the Knoxville area......maybe its time to put more effort into giving we, the residents/potential customers, more trustworthy and competent customer service. Highly disappointed in a business that partnerships with, and has done so much for Knoxville organizations and surrounding areas, but has honest and quality selling practices to the residents, at the bottom of their totem pole of importance.

This is the place to buy a car. If you look carefully you can find a diamond in the rough on their “BARGAIN LOT”. JR was our salesman and he was great. He worked hard to find us the perfect car. Bought a new Palisade from here. Chris King (aka “The Captain”) explained us all the tech and safety features in the car very well and he was enthusiastic about them. Terran and The Captain gave me their out the door price before I stepped into the dealership. Spoke with/emailed about 20 dealers before going in here and these were the only ones who didn’t add any addendums other than a $250 security device. Took the pain of going from Chattanooga to buy here because of 2 things- pricing and their customer service. No high pressure pushy sales tactics. On the day of the purchase, The Captain picked us from Carmax and got everything ready prior and the transaction went smoothly. It was pouring down heavily that evening and it was almost 9PM but the Captain went over all the features before he let us go. Highly recommend this place!

Purchased a 2020 Forrester Touring in August and my sales guy Nick was great. He even answered phone calls after hours to assist me.Then I had a question for the finance department about a warranty question. Called a few times and left a few messages but most likely due to recent events (out of our control) it took a little longer than expected to get a call back, but all was resolved and Jennifer in Finance went over and above to answer all of my questions.It was completely worth driving half way across Tennessee to purchase a vehicle from this company.Thanks and I highly recommend them.

I had my Hyundai towed in they told me 2 to 3 days before they could look at it and Im from NY. I asked them if I could buy a new car and trade mine in they told me that we need to know whats wrong with it first mind you it stared and ran but didnt excelarat still wouldnt sell me a car. Had my car towed out of there to the next Hyundai dealer gave me money on my trade and bought a new car.

Took my car into the shop here for a possible issue and the staff members were kind and informative. A couple of recall issues were taken care of and they made sure everything was ship-shape. I was told my car could use an oil change, which is a little off since I had one a month ago. The lounge could use better air conditioning when its hot, but overall a good experience.

Very happy with my purchase of an Ioniq hybrid. I drive all day for work and went from spending $500 a month on gasoline (approximately 17 miles per gallon) to only spending $80 a month (approximately 52 miles per gallon). Game changer.Staff here is always friendly and helpful. Love my car!

So after being hung up on three times and four calls later I finally have an affirmed appointment.Hopefully once I get to that appointment Ill be able to raise my rating.I have had less trouble when dealing with Optum and the VA healthcare phone systems, and thats saying something.Edit: I had my Appointment. The gentleman who saw me was very apologetic and quite proffesional. We had to wait for a good few hours for the replacements I needed and went through a different rep of whom was just as pleasant. So I upped my rating. Those on the floor are great. Its the phone reps that need work.

Called yesterday evening to schedule an appointment after receiving a recall notice. Was told the service department would have to schedule that appointment and they had already gone home for the day. No problem I just said I would call back today. I was on hold for 20 minutes, talked to three different people and still not having been able to make an appointment before the call “dropped”. Called back and was placed on hold for another 5 minutes before I hung up and called Twin City Hyundai. The first person who answered scheduled me immediately and the call lasted 2 minutes 34 seconds. Skip the frustration and call Twin city.

Scheduled me for a next day extended warranty repair. Got my car in on time and had me out the door in under the 2 hour estimate time of completion. I was very pleased with the customer service I received. The repair was top notch. I recommend this dealership for warranty work. No dealership should get your regular business. They charge nearly double what most mechanics would charge for the same repairs.

Horrible customer service experience. Salesman was condescending, I was told they “didn’t have a car for me” and made suggestions for vehicles other than the one specific one I inquired about. Zero willingness to help get me in the car I very much wanted when it came to financing options. Stated that I was a front line worker in the middle of a pandemic as an RN and deserved to be in a nicer newer car but failed to help me get there. He was absent minded about the availability of a 1.9% financing rate and claimed he would know because he does this job every day - I knew this was existent and got approved for it on my own. Do better at your job and with customer service.

Update: changed from 2 stars to 1. Weve been given 4 different deadlines for our car to be ready (brought it in for a 30 minute job). We havent gotten around to it this week, well do it next week sometime. It doesnt matter to them that we need our car for work. Horrible customer service, especially from Roger Garren, who yelled and hung up when we said that since he originally said it should be done same day, a week seemed like more than enough.Original review: So far theyve never called when they were supposed to. We brought our car in for a very minor known recall fix, after making an appointment a month ahead of time, and theyre keeping it for a week. They did not tell us this until we finally got a hold of them 2 days into the week. We asked for a loaner car but they dont offer them.Weve had other minor issues like ordering something from their parts department and them saying theyd call when it came in, and never calling. No big deal, I just dont have any positive experience with them to relay.Overall, theyre inconvenient at best and at worst, at least in my experience, they keep your car for indefinite periods of time without any reason or communication.

Grayson Hyundai turned my frown upside down.I am very, very happy with my brand new Accent Sport hatchback. It fits my needs really well. I had had my eye on this model for two years. I liked the compact size, the line of the body, and the handling of the sport model (which I experienced on my test drive). Grayson helped me get the EXACT silver color I wanted and all the features that were on my wishlist. Thanks to Jeffrey Cooper and Brian Smith for their patience, politeness, and professionalism. I kind of gave em hell. I might not have been as patient with me as they were. I feel like I got a fair deal with them, plus Hyundai has a pretty sweet rebate going on during the month of October. My only remaining bone with the dealership is that they do VIN etching on all vehicles that go through them, and they list the etching and accompanying warranty as a $250 Accessories Fee on the breakdown sheet. The wording of this service is not clear and gave me an uneasy first impression of their sales tactics. So, be informed about that. Overall, though, I am a happy camper now! I like my new car.

As an out of town shopper I requested my salesperson, Joseph Rankin assess a 2019 vehicle for any deodorizer or perfume odors. I specifically described acute chemical sensitivities and ask that he engage the most sensitive nose at the dealership. He called back and said HE didnt smell any smoke odor. Reiterated my request that he enlist the help of the most sensitive nose he knows at the dealership and told him I was concerned about synthetic deodorizer/perfume odors. He then reported that the internet salesperson didnt smell any perfume or anything. My 22-year-old daughter made the 3.5 hour drive to test drive the vehicle and arrived to find it had been aired out. All the windows were down. She said it had mild fragrance and bought the vehicle with the expectation that our ozone generator could remove it. Two 4 hour cycles have done nothing to reduce the deodorizer fragrance. The odor is so strong I detected it from several feet away when my daughter arrived home. I will never be able to ride as a passenger in her vehicle and everything she owns will smell like this toxic deodorizer for as long as she drives it. I have expressed my disappointment to this salesperson as I suspect the car was opened to air out with intent to dispel the strong deodorizer odor. After being closed up over night with the ozone generator this vehicle still reeks.

We went in to the show room and the employers walked by and didnt greet us. After going to wash our hands, left the show room and walked around the lot for 15 minutes. No one greeted us until we grabbed the door handle of our own car. We were the only people there as customers. Very disappointing!

We were interested in a new Palisade. We walked around for about 15 minutes without anyone saying anything to us. We go inside and realize it is busy. I get it, they cant control if they were busy or not, but out of the multiple worker someone could have acknowledged us. I simply just asked for an ETA on when someone could possibly be with us to test drive a palisade. The gentlemen through up his hands and said well, its the busiest day of the year and walked away. We will take out business elsewhere to buy a new palisade.Editing to add that the issue was not that they were busy. The issue was noone even spoke to us and when I politely asked the gentlemen, he was rude and didnt take 1 minute to assist. The fact that the reply wasnt even apologect for the salesmans rudeness assures me, we definitely wont be stepping foot there again.

I have had my eye on the new Palisade since they announced they would be coming out. I have driven a pre-owned Santa Fe for 12 years and love the quality of Hyundai vehicles. My parents and brother bought their Sonatas from Mr. Blevins and he sold us another Santa Fe 3 years ago, so I knew who to ask for when looking at the Palisade. Grayson and Mr. Blevins did not disappoint. They got me what I wanted for the price I wanted. They went above and beyond for us. Thank you for once again doing business with us. There was a recall on my Sonata and was having an issue with the Navigation system. I made an appointment with Brandon for Saturday morning. The recall was taken care of and the issue with the navigation was solved. The car was ready at the promised time and I was called to get and update on the status. Brandon was very helpful. Would be glad to have him as a Service adviser the next time I visit. Great job.

Incredible customer service! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I bought my husband a new car for his birthday and Terran helped me from start to finish. It was a no pressure experience that was so enjoyable! He has followed up since on more than one occasion to make sure we are happy with everything. I stopped by today to pick the car up from routine maintenance and as soon as I got out he was there with my car waiting and wished me a happy birthday! I just want to take a second to say that we just had a great experience dealing with Grayson Subaru. Everyone we dealt with was great, but Mike Anderson was awesome! We would highly recommend him. I LOVE my new (used) Subaru Forester Touring! We went in there dreading dealing with a rude, condescending, high-pressure used car salesman - and we were so pleasantly surprised when we met Mike! He treated us with kindness, honesty, and the utmost respect! No pressure. No lies. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! We could not have asked for a better experience. I got the exact car I wanted for a very fair price – and it was actually a pleasant experience! GO SEE MIKE ANDERSON at Grayson Subaru! We bought a brand new Palisade July 30th and this has been the worse experience ever. It all started when I dropped the car off to have a treatment put on the seats and exterior. I had my two children with me and the finance lady was giving me a car for the day. She gives me keys and a licenses plate and basically said to go outside to find the car in the pouring rain. I couldnt find it and had to ask for help because I was tired of pushing my one month old around in the rain. Next my steering wheel starts making a funny noise then a day or so later my windsheild cracks and we find out Hyundai is in a lawsuit over their windshields and they are not fixing them. I took the car to Grayson on I think August 25th. I was told Hyundai wouldnt fix the windsheild and the part for the steering wheel would be there in a week or so. Last week I got a phone call from Grayson saying the windsheild was never submitted to Hyundai. They call me back today saying Hyundai isnt going to fix it and the part for my steering wheel is another month out. After only two weeks of owning the car we was ready to take it right back and leave it. We have bought five Hyundais and Kias and its been the only brand I would recommend to anyone. After this experience we will not buy another. You would think after all the trouble we have had Grayson would at least fix the windsheild but no thats asking to much. After they get their money from you they are done. I do not recommend this place at all. Knowing what I know now I will tell everyone to stay as far away from this place as possible.

Great vehicle, super nice salesman. Now the Finiance woman, very rude. Also told me I couldnt get gap insurance outside of the dealership. Two days later after talking to my insurance company to update everything they asked me if I wanted gap insurance. I explained my dealerships finance person told me I could only with them. He said this isnt true and some finance people will lie about it because they get paid more. I called the dealership right away 10am Monday, told her we need to redo the paperwork without the gap. She told me its to late its already been sent out. Also said it would just apply to my principal if I stopped it. I asked her to go check and she called back to let me know I had to be in before 12 to re sign, So I did. When I got there I brought up the fact how on closing date I wanted to know the rate of everyone. She said at the date and time most places are closed. If we want we can check Monday. She told me she wasnt going to check because she knows I wont get better than the 4.35%. I kept it professional, signed, handshake, said have a great day and left. Other than that shady part with her it was good. Salesman was the best Ive ever had!

I went in with quite a few particular demands for a new vehicle, and Mike Anderson did a great job overcoming all of my needs. The whole crew there were top-notch and professional. And i mean everyone from Sales staff, service, all the way to finance. No games, no pushing. Grayson Hyundai serviced my vehicle quickly, professionally, and efficiently. I was extremely tired that morning, but they knew what to do and placed me at ease. They took care of my car and inspected the recalls and replaced/updated as needed. Additionally, they investigated my other questions I had and repaired one and indicated the other issue requested operated within manufacturer parameters. They estimated 5 hours and on the nose, they called me with my vehicle ready. I will be back again and will recommend to my friends and family. Thank you!

Used car buyer BEWARE. I DO NOT recommend this dealership after my horrific experience recently. Please know that this business will have no problem selling you a vehicle that is dangerous. Yes, the car I purchased ended up having major safety issues. WARNING! The sales manager told me that once they receive a trade-in that they DO NOT look at that used vehicle AT ALL before they put it back out on their lot to sell. HIS EXACT WORDS.Do not assume that just because this is a relatively large dealership that they will be more safety minded and ethical when it comes to their customers. I learned some very painful lessons here. This was the WORST ENCOUNTER with a dealership that I have ever experienced in my life. These same wonderful people before the sale showed absolutely no concern nor empathy after the sale. They just gave me an empty canned response. Fact of the matter is that once they got my money they did not care.This dealership could have had a customer for life, but now I will never set foot on the grounds of this business again. Did I mention that I fall in the 800+ credit score club? Now, I will make a point to warn as many people as I can about their concerning practices based on their own words.Everything worked out for me (thank God) after I met some incredible people at another dealership. Believe it or not, there are still one or two car dealerships out there that are somewhat trustworthy. Do your homework. Please be careful out there everybody!

Grayson Hyundai couldnt have been better. Our salesman, J.R, was truly terrific and took care of all of our inquiries and gave us a great deal. He was very kind, honest and hospitable. They quickly took care of our old car trade in, completed all the transfers etc. in a very efficient way. They couldnt have been more helpful. I highly recommend Grayson and their entire staff.
