I was travelling through Knoxville from Kentucky and I ended up getting an irreparable flat tire. Fishers was the only place that had my size tire. They got it changed, mounted, and balanced in hardly any time. The staff were super friendly, accommodating to my situation, and the price for the service was reasonable. If I was local, I would definitely use this place more often for my car.

Fisher Tire has services 3 different vehicles of mine. Tires, balance, and rotation are usually the norm. I always leave satisfied with the new smooth ride and feel of my vehicle. Also, the customer care and advice is always 5-star worthy but get there early because everyone else thinks they are awesome too.

Stopped in to get my tires rotated. They told me they were booked for the day and it would be better to make an appointment to ensure they could get to it. Twice now Ive made an appointment and both times the excuse was they got backed up and wouldnt be able to get to it. I said I called ahead and had an appointment. He said it didnt matter and they were backed up. Wont ever go back to fisher tire! I do not recommend them to anyone!

Great people, they fixed my jeep when no one else could. I had done everything I knew to do for the vibration in the front of my jeep and still it was terrible. I went in and talked to Bobby Fisher and he knew exactly what I needed. Due to their expertise and equipment.I went there on a Saturday morning at 8 oclock (get there early there was already a line waiting, they open at 8) it took about 3 hrs total, 2 hrs was waiting for them to get to me. But it was SO! worth the wait. Me jeep drives like a new one. And I want to add that my jeep has a 3.5 lift on it, and Ive not been able to drive at interstate speeds in a long time but those days are gone I can drive at 70+ with no pulling or vibrations. Happy new and forever customer.

My spouse came to Knoxville in my 2005 Cadillac c t s when all of a sudden she started hearing and knocked out of her left front tire. He was stranded in Knoxville without much money at all and was given instructions to go to Fisher Tire because they are honest. At that point we were expecting the worst and 4 to $500 for a hub bearing or something like that. It turns out when we had the brakes installed by an amateur he had forgotten to put a bolt back in. They put the bolt back in and only charged us $49. That is honesty just dont find any more very often in America. You are doing yourself a disservice if you go anywhere other than Fisher Tire if you have a choice. Thank you so much from Atlanta for taking care of my girl so she could get back home Fisher Tire.

Always professional, they dont try to get you to fix something that isnt needed or needed right then. They are my go to place for whenever I need something done. They dont do everything but what I have had them do, I have been pleased.

This place is awesome! The people are extremely friendly and professional. The prices are competitive and I always feel confident leaving my car there knowing that I am not getting taken advantage of.

Would highly recommend using another shop, they hire kids who have no experience and give them absolutely zero training, (I was one of those kids) I routinely saw other techs stacking 2.75 - 3.25 OZ of wheel weights on top of each other, no anti-seize on studs, contact points on brakes not lubricated etc.. it wasn’t until after fisher tire that I learned the proper way to do brakes, tires, etc.. you’ll pay top dollar at fisher and get really terrible workmanship.There should be some sort of mandatory apprenticeship where you work under a senior tech until you’re proficient.I kid you not when I say I had zero training at fisher, hired me and cut me loose to figure out how the machines worked.I hope management will read this and start giving proper training

I would not recommend Fisher Tire for anything more than simple tire procedures and maybe an oil change. My experience is as follows: I love to work on my car. I have a Honda CRV that has served me well since I switched from a pesky VW. However, when my CRV started overheating, I did not have time to diagnose it. I took it to Fisher Tire. They said “radiator’s bad”, I said “alright, go ahead and fix it”. So they put a new radiator in. But, they did not properly burp the cooling system, and they also failed to diagnose and replace a faulty thermostat, which could have been causing the overheating in the first place. I am regretting not looking at that radiator when they pulled it out. So, hundreds later, I’m back to square one of overheating again - when it might have just been a simple thermostat. Every Honda mechanic knows that you replace the thermostat and radiator cap when you replace the radiator. I’m frustrated by my lack of attention to detail at their lack of attention to detail. Mechanics and friends warned me that Fisher Tire hires young and inexperienced mechanics, and the ones that have been there a while are arrogant and oft negligent. Consider going somewhere else.

Came in for a alignment on a Saturday. I got there early was out within an hour. Problem still exists, pulling to the right. I think I need lower ball joints replaced.

I moved to the north Knoxville area 16 and a half years ago. My wife had a van that had a problem with one of the tires. I went to Fisher because they were in the neighborhood. I met Bob Fisher. He looked at my situation and said I can sell you a new tire or I have a good used tire that will match the other tires on the van and will save you money. I was blown away!! Here was someone that wanted to help a person he had never met!!! Over the past 16 years I have bought every tire for all our vehicles (cars, trucks, SUVs, and travel trailer) from Fisher. I have always gotten the lifetime balance and rotation and I have made good use of it. I have gotten 80-90K miles on most sets of tires because I kept them rotated and balanced. The people at Fisher could not have been more accommodating and friendly -- and that includes everyone!! No matter what the issue, and I have taken them several difficult ones, they always resolve it with a smile and at a reasonable price. I cant imagine ever doing business with anyone else!!!

I have been buying tires from the Broadway location for a long time. They know their products and you can trust them with your tire needs. I am a very loyal consumer when I am treated fair and honest. That is all I ask and they always deliver.

3 hours waiting on a flat tire to be fixed. I am a captive audience, as I was towed. I bought my tires here a couple months ago because of their excellent reputation. I will not be back, as clearly they do not need my business.

We had our rotors for a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 done, only place in town who would handle our big truck.

Honest and easy to do business with. Very fair prices and across the road is a little diner.

My dad called ahead of time to arrange for some tires to be mounted. When I showed up it was around 1:30 on Friday, they told me I could leave my vehicle and theyd get to it Monday. This was not an option for me and not what was previously discussed over the phone. Then the guy said he could try to get to it by 5:30 and the way he said it he made it sound like it wasnt going to happen. I thought that was quite a while to wait but I needed it done so I asked what time they close and the guy said 5:30. He was basically telling me they couldnt do it even though my dad had called ahead of time and I drove from Maryville to get there. He didnt seem interested at all and was almost rude about it. I left and went elsewhere and walked right in, got what I needed and the fee was about $40 cheaper than Fisher was going to charge. I wont go back to Fisher.

Went to another tire place and waited 1.5hours and they didnt even touch my car yet. All i needed was a valve stem. I took my car to fisher and was in and out in 15 mins. Spencer took care of me with no problems or attitude. AWESOME SERVICE!!!!

Bobby Jr is great. I recently bought new wheels and wanted to get tires from Fisher. I texted Bobby many times about what tires to get. He was more than friendly and helpful and gave me many options to choose from. When it came time to install my wheels and tires, the techs were very respectful with the new wheels making sure to not damage them. As others have said, the place is busy and yes you may have to wait. But there is a reason they are busy, they are great at what they do. Id rather wait and have the job done right, than not wait and have my car get damaged. Will be going back next time I need something from them for sure.

Edit: I had to change my rating due to their change in service. The last two times I went there they left something loose or off the car. First it was a trim ring on a wheel. They replaced all 4 no questions asked. I was ok with that.The next time, the tech broke my wheel stud off and lost my center cap. Not only was it not noted, but they argued with me over the phone. They finally grudgingly agreed to take care of it, but honestly, I didnt want them to. I wont recommend them from here on out, sorry guys.The alignment guy is still on point though. Love that guy.Previously...Always fair with prices, willing to work with you. Had four different cars done here. They are careful with antiques as well. I will never use anyone else again.

I was told on the phone my car would be attended to promptly, as the alignment station wasnt busy that day. My car sat for over an hour after check in. I asked a lady at the desk if they would even be able to get to it before they closed. It wasnt 30 seconds after my inquiry a technician was outside to grab it. They simply forgot about me.I cant say whether or not they did the work correctly, it was an alignment. I will comment that I asked for a front-end alignment but was sold a full alignment. I was of the opinion the rear wheels were not out of alignment, for various reasons. Regardless, unauthorized work was performed on my car.They parked my car close to the street and pretty far away from the business when they were finished. They didnt bother to lock the doors, and it stayed that way all morning the next day. (An earlier version of this review incorrectly stated the vehicle was left outside, the owner graciously corrected me and stated all vehicles are moved indoors nightly). Any passerby could have helped themselves to the contents of the vehicle. This is unacceptable.I will not go here again or recommend this shop to anyone who values their time or personal property.

The best thing about Fisher Tire is the quality....... the quality of the employees...... the quality of the products ...... the quality of the tires......... the quality of the machines ......... the maintenance ... the quality in general this place is located on the corner of Walker Boulevard and Broadway near the Fulton shopping center next to Lost and Found Records I would always bring a car here such as my daughter my mother my girlfriend or mine I have been coming here for 10 years I would not change for any reason whatsoever and you can always sit back and enjoy free coffee and watch some TV and just enjoy some good old-fashioned people,,,, Fisher Tire is a big supporters of local schools, football and basketball team. I drove up from Charlotte to Knoxville to purchase a used car. I was referred to Fisher by another local mechanic. Not only did they do an amazingly detailed job looking over my car but they are just really nice people. They were happy to explain all the intricacies of cars to me which is nice because I dont understand anything about how they work. Highly recommend!

After bending the rim of my front passenger wheel in a massive pothole this weekend (Knoxville seems to love leaving massive holes in the road), I figured I would be out a nice chunk of change to get a new wheel. I took my wheel in to Fisher on Broadway and was pleasantly surprised.The lady I spoke with at the front desk had a genuine smile on her face, was very pleasant, and had an employee (Collin) look at it within minutes. He took the wheel back to the garage and was able to bend it back to its proper shape! He test drove my car with wheel re-attached, no problems noted, and I had a driving car again for a grand total of $21.85!I found out as I was leaving that the smiling lady at the front desk was actually the owner, Ms. Linda Fisher. I cant say enough great things about my experience this morning.Thank you Linda, Thank you Collin, and Thank you Fisher Tire!

Damaged my property, then called me a liar.Fisher is one of the oldest and most respected tire companies in Knoxville, and as such, theyre plenty busy. Show up during normal business hours and youll face a three-hour wait. They dont take appointments, so the only way to get prompt service it to arrive 30 minutes before the place opens, and wait in line with everyone else.My wife and I bought our first new car last year - a Ford Fiesta - to transport our first daughter. Since the car came with dedicated summer tires from the factory, I had a set of winter tires installed last season. Another, less reputable shop damaged one of the wheels, so when it came time to put the summer tires back on, I bit the bullet and waited outside of Fisher at 7:30 in the morning last Monday.The technician had the new tires mounted and balanced in about an hour. I paid, then went outside to inspect the wheels. There I found three of the four chipped at the center cap. Mistakes happen, and I wasnt all that worried about it. I went back in, told the young woman at the desk what happened, and the tech and what I assume was a manager came out to look at the car. Neither introduced themselves. Both said the damage must have been there before I brought the car in.The car has 2,800 miles on it, and because of my last experience, I had inspected each wheel before leaving it with Fisher.Bob Fisher then comes out, and repeats the same line, telling me theres no way the shop could have damaged the wheels, effectively calling me a liar.I can abide the arrogance of forcing your customers to wait outside the door, wasting their time because you cant figure out an appointment system. I understand that mistakes happen, and Im fine with that so long as you make some effort to fix the situation, but damaging a customers property calling them a liar? Absolutely unacceptable.I paid $104 for the mounting and balancing, and I now get to spend $150 getting the wheels fixed. I have five vehicles. I buy and sell project cars fairly frequently, and as a result, I purchase at least one set of tires per year. My family has done business with Fisher for generations. My grandfather worked at the store on Broadway, but I will never spend another cent there so long as I live.What a disgrace.

I had never been to this place before, my neighbor said Fisher Tire is the best place to take a leak. I had to replace a valve stem. I walked into the place and was welcomed by a nice woman. She asked what I needed and ask for my name she filled out a ticket. Giving the ticket to the mechanic I walked to my car and gave him the tire. I waited for 30 minutes on a non busy day.I noticed the mechanic walking away I looked through the huge pane of glass only to have hand signals that my tire was finished. I ask to pay for the service only to be told they didnt have the ticket. So, slow and disorganized best describes this place.

Had a front end alignment done to my Jeep this last weekend. Dropped it off just before they closed on Friday. They called me first thing Saturday morning to let me know it was ready. I was very surprised at how quickly it was completed. Could also tell that they had taken it for a test drive to make sure they got it right. Did not try to up sell anything that I didnt need. All the staff I dealt with were incredibly friendly.
