Theres a multitude of auto repair options around Knoxville, not too hard to see that. Im not from the area, nor do i really know anyone well enough to get referred when in search of whatever services...By chance, i happened upon the Affordable Tire location at walker springs. I fully anticipated being encouraged to leave quickly.. possibly after a ridiculous quote that i cant afford.. seems to be all too common the theme, especially when youre female.. 🙄Surprisingly, it was exactly the opposite of what Id originally expected though! I was thrilled actually because its not often you find a business with employees that are willing to help, hard-working, honest, helpful, & seemingly genuine people to help, especially when needed the most.These guys deserve all praise. Theres sooo many public temper tantrums and nasty attempts to discredit someones hard work/reputation/livelihood. Its messed up how negative so many people just CHOOSE to be... Constantly.The crew at this location, theyre awesome! And I for one am grateful for the help. Keep up the good work!!God bless.

I purchased a mobile tire installation for 4 tires. My receipt says the service was a tire mount and balance, but it was a tire mount only. I am not unhappy with the tire mount, but every customer should know they DO NOT balance the tires on this mobile service. No mention of this till the rep is present at your location. When I called to inquire, the response was to simply hang up the phone.

Went in for a tune up on my ranger(they also flushed my fuel). They done an amazing job and done it all correctly with quality parts. 2* cuz they charged me $613... Price of the parts wasnt the problem it was the $300 for barely over an HR of labor they charged me for that Im upset about... Shame too we was thinking about making this our companys go to shop.

I purchased a car from them that supposedly had 145,000 miles. But I had to get a new car because it kept messing up, and I just had the car fax read to trade it in. It’s basically totaled, like it has severe damage. Not only that, it actually had 210,000+ miles. Actual trash bags work here. Literally the worst humans to work with, they’re rude as well. I can’t believe they ripped me off like this.

My boyfriend took my car in a few days ago to purchase a used tire. Prior to going in he called & was quoted $40 for a used tire. He was told they didn’t have the correct size so he elected to buy the closest thing to what was needed. The 1st tire presented to him has a “chunk” poi of the sidewall & he was told they would find a different one.When the gentleman came back, he had the exact same tire & put it on my car!!!My boyfriend was charged $60, not $40 being told it was a more expensive tire( it had a chunk out of it!! REALLY). He was also told once we got a new one to bring it in & they would install it free of charge.I went in yesterday to have that done(3 days later) & requested a refund due to the unsafe tire that was put on my car in the beginning. I was told “no refunds, only replacements. I already had a NEW tire. I explained to the manager I was going to give him a bad review if he didn’t refund me for an unsafe tire & he informed me he wasn’t going to install the new tire.At that point, I asked him if he was going back on his word. They installed the tire but when I woke up this morning the tire, again which is brand new is flat!!! Coincidence???We will see, I’m having it checked as I am writing this.After having my tire checked out, I was told by a reputable company that the valve stem was left “loose”. Therefore, the air slowly leaked out overnight. Coincidence??? I think not!!!You see this is what happens when you do business with “shady” people. So, Mr. Manager, this is exactly why I have posted pics of the defective tire your business put on my car on your website as well as on your FB page. I will continue to do so b/c people need to know who they are doing business with & NO SIR! YOU are the one that should be ashamed!!!

Simply brake job that this place gave me a quote not a estimate. Then after they got it apart the price more than doubled. I had to find them the parts and buy them myself then take them to the place after it had been took apart and left in a million pieces. After getting the parts they could not find the guy working that had cussed me and my dad. Plus they cussed the intire time from the time I walked into the place till we finally had to put it back together ourself as it was and take it to another garage. The person working on it had stood there for more than 2 hours just looking at and had no clue how to get this thing back together. I asked him what the problem was he told me he had never worked on a van before and did not know what to do. The parts that I had purchased was not returned and they cussed us out after they admitted they just did not have a clue what they where doing. At least they did refund part of the money I had spent but only after the law had to get involved. I would not let them put a bicycle tire on a wore out bike as they would get it a part and not know how to put it back together!

Discount tires the guys across the street even as far as sweet water but non could beat or match the price along with the quality service I received here. Every step of the way the managers explained what was going on also didn’t break the bank with the extra alignment, tire sensors etc. Great establishment I’ve been coming to for the past two years and will keep bringing my cars here. We are from out of town and rolled in needing a tire plugged. Since the nail was almost on the side of the tire, we ended up having to get a tire put on. A Goodyear that matched my others with about the same tread. The guys there were friendly and very courteous. We try our best to support local businesses and encourage everyone else to do the same. We were in and out of there in a timely manner. Great guys. We highly recommend them. God bless.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Not only have their used tires been dependable, but they have put a spare tire on and filled my tire with air (that would not work at the gas station) for free. That might not seem like a big deal but it was huge for me. Little things like that really change a person’s entire day. This place is great!

These guys are one of the most honest, hard at work, professional classy locker room type establishment. Right on the Hwy too. Always great work! And they deal with an honest reputable loan company if you dont have enough money but need the work done dont worry about your credit 😉 I think these people will pretty much loan to anyone who has a job and a bank account! First time and last time at this place. Just listening to the quotes they gave people on tires while I sat there waisting my time WOW! I’m glad I left after 20 minutes just sitting there while they supposedly check on a used tire.

I visited a Ford dealership service station to get my car checked out I paid for a full diagnostic and that’s when I was told that my transmission needed to be replaced. I was told my vehicle was not holding any transmission fluid and that my torque converter was burnt out (basically saying the car was done for) I was quoted on a new transmission. I was then told by the service advisor that he was willing to purchase the vehicle for me for 1500 dollars (this is a 2016 Ford Taurus sho with 55k miles valued between 14-19k. He even told me that he has a buddy at the sales department that would be able to “hook me up with a new vehicle”. He gave me his buisness card and told me to think about it. I decided to give the car a second look at this shop about a week after. That’s when I was informed that the last person to work on my car left the transmission fluid drainage open and that it was missing 5 quarts of ATF. He sealed the drainage replaced the missing transmission fluid and the car was back in its original condition. These guys could have lied to me but they gave it to me straight. I went from looking at scrapping my car or spending 8k for a new transmission to paying the crew at this place 100$ to fix my problem. I would vouch for them with my life.

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to have a rear tire changed out. The person who changed the tire couldnt find the correct socket so he used one that was close fitting and hammered it onto my lug nuts on my alloy wheels badly damaging about half of them. I took it back hoping to swap out my damaged lug nuts and they said the damaged ones would work just fine. Ill pay to have them fixed at my expense, but will not be going back. Very unprofessional for a tire shop not to have the right tools, so they just beat your car into submission. Costly visit.

Traveling from Louisiana to West Virginia, we had a concern of a wheel coming loose. The manager sent two guys out to assist my husband in jacking the truck up and checking the wheels free of charge. Piece of mind was worth the $5 my husband had to convince each guy to take for their assistance.

Took my Tundra in because the front tires began to wear unevenly. These guys worked with me and were super friendly and provided me with great customer service. Very important to be treated right these days. You will definitely be seeing me again.

This place was recommended to me.Went to get tires put on. After quick service my wife and I left and eventually noticed an intermittent shimmy in the steering wheel that wasn’t there before.Called the shop and mentioned the shimmy and said I couldn’t make it back until 6pm. I was informed that’s when they closed. I explained that the job wasn’t initially done correctly and asked that it be taken care of promptly, considering I spent $849 with them.They recommend I visit a sister shop closer to where I was that could take care of me. Pulled up at 6 where my wife and I felt “unwelcomed.” Explained to the manager of that location what the situation was and he proceeded to explain to me that the problem was something else outside of the tires needing to be re-balanced and mounted. Get back on the road and the shimmy was still there.Called to figure out when I could get it fixed properly and ended up getting into a cussing/shouting match with the mechanic, that had just “fixed” my problem for ‘free,’ because he didn’t like the fact that I felt like they didn’t do their job.Come to find out, he wasn’t properly informed of the issue initially from the original shop manager that referred me to that sister location. Resulting in said disagreement between him and I.Took my car to Dodge and the explained that the tires weren’t even close to being balanced properly .My advice is: while their tires may be affordable, that comes at the cost of inexperienced service and/or poor customer service. Stay away.

This is a great place. They are fast, affordable, knowledgeable and friendly. They offer alot of different services. From tire sales to mechanic work. I would recommend this place and will be using their services again.

I went here to get new tires and they told me it was going to cost a lot more than I thought it would. So I told them to hold on Im doing the work before they started on it. They went ahead and started changing my tires after I said that and charged me for it. They also said it was safe to drive without a lugnut and now Im on the side of the road.

I wish I could give them no stars!!! Awful tire company. All they want is money and do not care about the service. We purchased four used mud tires and all the tires were bad. The drive home our truck was all over the road. When called later that day to get money back they didnt want to hear it. They didnt care about the tires they sold to us and their warranty is useless. They have terrible customer service and only care about the money. The worst place I have ever been to when it comes to purchasing tires. Also, when went to place in person the manager was so rude and cursed at me and calling me a *itch. Unbelievable and so rude. I had my two children with me and the police had to be called. The manager asked me to leave because I was trespassing and as I was leaving he followed me in his BMW and also recorded me too. What a great business this place is. I have never felt so robbed and taken advantage of ever as much as I did with this company. Unreal!! All this over 500$ and still they didnt have the decency to give me a refund. So word to the public DONT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER !!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will make it a point to let everyone know in Knoxville to NEVER go to this place EVER!! 500$ one way or another they will lose more than that !!

I needed a tire to get home and the service was great. It didnt take long and everyone was very professional. The prices were exceptional and affordable. I replaced my cars front tires for the price of one at other tire shops.

I had originally went somewhere else to see about getting my brakes fixed but they were wayyyy out of my price range. Came here and they charged me 200 dollars less than what i woulda paid elsewhere. They took great care of me and I will definitely be back!

Service was not good. Just went to get TWO tires unmounted and they told 30 mins because they had ONE car infront me and 2 hours later I was still there and still charge me full price which is ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This place is great. They have been able to get me in whenever I needed it. They worked very hard on my vehicle and even gave me a loaner so I wasn’t without a car. Highly recommend this shop.

Lesson learned...make sure you get a quote on services before you go there. I had 2 new tires and simply needed them mounted and balanced. It cost almost $50!!! Normally a simple mount and balance would cost $10 - $15 a piece. Update: I called the affordable tire located on Western Avenue and they charge $15 per tire.

These guys always take care of me. I feel they are honest so its easy to accept when they tell you what maintenance they suggest. I was also in and out within an hour with an oil change, tire patch, tire rotation, and alignment. When my thermostat went out and caused my radiator to bust they went above and beyond for me when I was stranded. Good deals on tires, too.

Not a trustworthy people, they will see you needing a service and will start jacking prices up despite advising of lower rate! look at their reply to unhappy customers they never admit doing anything wrong, not to mention zero customer service! Stay away from this place

We are from out of town and hit a pothole heading out of Knoxville. With over 700 miles to home we knew we couldn’t drive on a spare. We called numerous places on a Sunday where most were closed. We were originally going to Tire Barn and saw Affordable Tire so we decided to stop in. We dealt with Tyler Newman, Manager, who was amazing. We paid $105 and they even balanced our other tire.Tire Barn wanted to charge over $300, they knew we were in a bind and were taking advantage of us!!!! I cannot thank Tyler and his crew enough for the affordable, prompt courteous service they delivered.

If youre broke and need tires this is the place to go as long as you take an ID. Payment plan options are available. It is a VERY VERY QUICK in and out kind of place and so the service fits just that. Everyone is polite, to the point not going to waste your time or theirs with nonsense. Will tell you what you need done then will advocate for it once more when telling what you want done.. and then remind you what needs done after sharing how much money you can afford in work. Then they will fix your issue so fast you wont know if it was ever an issue after all. I approve the strict sales routine, and being a woman i may not sound like i know about cars but.. maybe when told what wants done instead of asking what needs done it should be taken into consideration when giving the sales pitch. No issues at all with service, customer care or work done. I suggest it.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I have been here twice for used tires. Both times I paid $35, which is extremely reasonable when you are in a pinch. In Austin I paid $60 for a used tire.I came here today for a tire and asked if theyd look at my struts for me. Sears had quoted me over $1100 worth of unnecessary work and didnt even do the alignment they said they did. After they took a look at my struts they said they were fine and told me I just needed an alignment. Everyone I spoke to here was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. This took all of 30 minutes. I will be coming back to tip, because these guys deserve it. This has now become my go to for my car needs. Thank you so much for your honesty. It gives me a little more hope for humanity.

Stopped in a pinch. It was late. These guys were so busy but they manage to help me deal with my issue with my van and worked around my budget. Very friendly and professional. Sebastian was very attentive and got Tyler to get me in and dealt with. Really appreciate the hard work these guys put in. Dont find too many mechanic shops like these that you can trust and get the work done quickly and affordably with a handshake. Tyler is the man! Would love to give them more stars but 5 out of 5 should pretty much sum up how good and trustworthy these guys are.

We were on the road heading to Ohio when we go a flat tire. Fortunately we found Affordable Used and New Tires. The customer service was excellent and tire prices were beyond affordable! Our tire was changed and we were back on the road in about 20 -30 mins. Would definitely recommend this tire store.

After reading reviews, I called ahead to confirm they had the tire I needed. The woman on the phone, paused while she checked to confirm they did have the tire I needed, and assured me that they had it, used, in stock. When I got there, the same woman looked at my car then passed me off to another person who said they, in fact, did not have the particular used tire in stock, and I should just go ahead and buy a new set of tires (my car does not need new tires; I had one unrepairable flat). After a few minutes of back and forth with him trying to push me toward new tires I made clear I was angry because I had called 45 minutes earlier and was assured over the phone that they did have my tire in stock. I was not happy to be there under what was looking like a bait and switch scenario, when I could have gone to another business that also said they had my tire. I was ready to leave on my spare donut when he suddenly offered to go look again. He came back and, surprise, they had one left in stock. He said they must have gotten a new shipment the day before....anyway, I got a good tire, but overall, it was not a good experience. I would not trust them to do anything other than change a tire, and I would just say be cautious about using them.

I don’t understand why anybody would give this place less than 5 stars. Best tire shop in Knoxville. The staff is so friendly and the owner always goes out of his way to help out. Their prices are the best in town and their new financing options are great with no credit check required. Highly recommended!

I love this place! Ive been taking all of my vehicles here for years. Everyone there is always very nice and friendly. They really care about you and your vehicle. They are always honest and professional. They have the best prices on tires, and always provide great automotive repair and very fair prices. I would recommend anyone to have their vehicles serviced here. Always fast too! I love that I dont need an appt and can just stop in whenever its convenient. Tires are affordable, best price I found around here. They had the car jacked and the tire changed before I realized they started. Probably spent 10 minutes there from start to finish, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Very happy with the service.

Ive been here twice and got excellent service both times. Very polite and helpful guys. On most recent visit even though they were busy, they still got me in and out fast and I was asked 3 times if Id been helped. They took the time to answer my questions (I had several) and gave me options with no pressure.

I broke down with a flat tire and 2 others about to go. These guys were about to close up shop for the night, but stayed open so I could get my tires fixed. They gave me very fair pricing and did an excellent job. Very fast, very professional, and just a great group of guys. I highly recommend them!

Highly recommend. Had a flat, they had the same used truck tire, top name brand, installed in under 1/2 hour. It cost $46 (with tax). I will go there when I need new tires too. Its a little hard to find; its around the back from Golds Gym. Go all the way to the east end, turn left, go all the way to the back.

So, they put good tires on my car, but I have three reasons why I wont go back:1. The payment plan. Yeah, paying $20 a week sounds good, but the never-ending feeling is not worth it.2. One of the pressure sensors got busted off by their machine.3. Then they lied and said the alarm on the dash would stay on because its battery was dead.

Great used tire for a great price!! I couldnt figure out where the shop was at first it is kinda hidden on the corner/side of the building. If you are looking at the building it is to the right of the Martial Arts studio. You cant see the sign very well. The man there was awesome though! He even offered to carry my tire to my car and load it for me!
