Long time customer here and have always been comfortable giving my car over to these professionals through the years. Here for the longest time Rhonda Gobel is my absolute favorite bar none. She will instantly become almost like your best friend when your automobile is in need. And she is very knowledgeable about the subject when it comes to automobiles. Ted Frankowitz was usually the go to guy for me way back in the day and was always very knowledgeable, courteous and professional as well who has since moved up to the management position now I think. I consider all the people down there reliable and trustworthy. The waiting room is also the best Ive seen around town and free coffee is available as well so thats always a nice touch. I also bought my car there and has been the best most reliable car I have ever owned.

I really enjoyed visiting this dealership. I met the owner and enjoyed the conversation I had with him. I was talking to the Service Department guys about my Lincoln MKZ and shared a few stories about some my beautiful Mustangs with the Russells friendly sales staff.I owned quite a few Mustangs starting with my 65 which I had two of them, great little car, very reliable and fun to drive. I also owned a 66, a 67, two 69s, a 70, a 71 and finally my 72 mustard yellow fastback. I bought a brand new 2020 Lincoln MKZ 3.0 from another dealer in Missouri in August of 2020. I always have my vehicles serviced at brand dealerships. This summer the car would just shut off while driving and you would have no dashboard instrumentation at all after restarting the car. They had the car over three weeks. I had the car back three days and the exact same problem occurred again. The car would shut down while driving making you pull over and restart the car and with no instrumentation after this. (major safety hazard) Lincoln then sent me a service survey, which obviously I didnt rate very well. I then was called by a female service advisor and verbally attacked for giving them a poor survey. (Totally out of line and unprofessional to say the least!) I then got Lincoln customer service involved and was informed by the service manager that he would be my point of contact going forward. After taking the car back the second time for the engine issues, I made them aware that the panoramic roof was not functioning properly. This was never addressed at all during the second visit where they had the car for three weeks. A couple of weeks ago, the roof completely malfunctioned and the liner would not close at all. I called the service manager and asked him to return my call. Its two weeks later and I am yet to hear from him. After being fed up with this 54K pile of junk and the dealers unresponsiveness, I bought a new Alfa Romeo Giulia over the phone today in twenty minutes that will be delivered to my front door next week. So, hard lesson learned here. Stay away from Lincoln and stay away from this dealership!

I had given a call to their maintenance department and the woman that answered the phone was without a doubt extremely RUDE!!! I will NEVER do business with them and to think even though I was calling in about getting some work done on my car through them I was also contemplating in doing a trade in once I had gotten the car repaired.. But I would love to thank her because now I know that I would NEVER do any type of business with them so she saved me from any further future disappointment

Bought a F-150 in 18. Over the last 4 years it has been in the shop about every quarter due to transmission hard shifts while accelerating and decelerating. Dropped in 5 or 6 different computer programs and one computer board among other things to no avail. The last software install was corrupt and caused the oil pressure to rise damaging the engine. Ford did not know how to fix it and told me to take it home until they figured it out. In the meantime they wanted to unplug something to trick the motor to prevent the transmission events. I pushed back and it turned out that the Ford engineers said the unplugging would cause more damage. A month later, they tell me the fix would include replacing heads, valves and other items to the tune of 8-10K. I said great, it has a lifetime warranty but you are fixing the motor that you damaged and are not even addressing the core reason I keep bringing it in, the transmission. I sold this truck back to ford and drive a GMC. Do yourself a favor and just buy anything other than a ford!

I brought my 2018 F150 in as the sunroof was stuck in the vented position. Be careful signing anything when checking it in as I should have read the fine print. Dakota was very professional and kind but they told me it was going to be $4800 to repair the sunroof, on a truck with less than 60,000 miles! I called and found another Ford dealership who would do the same repair for half the cost. While it is still absurd to spend $2500 on a poorly designed sunroof on a 3 year old truck, it’s better than twice that price at this dealership! To top it off the fine print I signed was me agreeing to pay $158 to tell me my sunroof was broken...fantastic.Check around for any repairs or service!

Absolute worst place to buy a car. I made a huge mistake going here. Spent 75k on a new truck, and part of the deal was 3 free oil changes. It has been 2 months, and I have received nothing. I called multiple times, and they say that it’s “not in the paperwork” even though I have it in writing from the salesman. Absolute joke of a dealership. You think that they would treat a customer who spends that much with more respect, and at least honor their word. Now they are saying that what is included by Ford, not their dealership, which only covers ONE oil change, is enough. I have called and called and called, and they still will not honor their word. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle that I agreed to a deal and they screwed me. What else did they screw me on? Should I check to see if my spare tire is there and they didn’t sell me it with it?

Ryan and the rest of the service department team at Ted Russell Ford exceeded my expectations. We live 5 hours away, while our daughter is attending college there. Her car was acting up so I had it towed to this location after service hours on a weekend. Ryan called me first thing Monday morning to get some more details, and stayed in contact throughout the repair. While I was fully prepared to wait a week before any repairs would be made, these fine folks got it worked in quickly and the bill was reasonable. I would rather our kid not have any more breakdowns, but the Ted Russell employees have earned our trust and business for the 3 years our kid will be there for school.

I bought a 2015 Ford Cmax approximately 2 years ago from Ted Russell on Kingston Pike. I like writing reviews as they help me so hopefully this will help others. I found the car online and went straight there. I was paying cash so I went straight to a test drive. Got a price that was fair for my 2012 Ford Focus. And, I was on the road within 1 hour!!! Very satisfied and look forward to buying there again if and when I need another commuter vehicle.This CMAX Hybrid is amazing for me. I am 60 years old now and I learned how to best drive a hybrid by owning one. I get 45 miles AVERAGE. I go 450 to 500 miles on a tank of gas. Only holds 12 gallons (all I have ever put in it at the maximum). Thanks again to the Ted Russell Team for their sales force. Great job and great car!

After going to several dealers and being treated poorly, I reluctantly gave Ted Russell Ford a shot. I am so glad I did! I had independent financing established and almost all other dealers insisted they would still need to run my credit even though I wasnt financing through them. (Please dont be fooled by this tactic because its not true; they dont have to run your credit again and if you ask them for documentation supporting their claim they cant provide it.) Ted Russell Ford agreed that hitting my credit again was UNnecessary and I purchased a vehicle that I am very excited about! They were the first dealership I encountered with some level of integrity! Thank you to Randy (salesman) and Jake (used car manager) who listened to me and demonstrated patience throughout the process. Thanks guys - you were great!

Online Purchase - WarningToday I drove to Knoxville from Asheville, NC to buy a pre-owned Subaru. The car was fairly priced and the sales person, John Manners was responsive and nice to talk with. We came to an agreement quickly on price.This would have been my fourth vehicle purchased online at a distance and the first disappointment.Here was our issue...smell and deception.I required that a car not smell like smoke or anything other than like a car with 20k miles on it. No chemicals, no masking a smell, no dog odors, etc - just smell normal as a lightly used car should. I requested he sit in the car and relay to me how it smelled and explained that it was very important - it is more important that a scratch or a blemish.When he reported back - he said its fine. Sensing the vagueness of the response, I asked him to expand on the answer. I touched on the issue 3 or 4 times probing for clarity. He was confident and reassured me that it was not smoked in, etc.So, my daughter and I packed up and headed to Knoxville to go get her first car. It was a fun and exciting day up to the moment we opened the door.Standing in the parking lot you could smell the cigarette smoke. It was strong and distinct. We left immediately without a car. I felt deceived and that it was a ploy to get me in the situation in hopes I would go forward after my long drive.Maybe it was an honest mistake but Im skeptical- I did everything possible to ensure this wasnt the outcome and yet here we are.The sales manager followed up as well as one of the owners to offer some assistance in finding a replacement vehicle. Clearly damage control but at least they tried.So - proceed with caution.

Has to be the absolute worst customer service ever. I bought a new truck over $50,000 Feb 26th. From day one it has had 1 or more speakers busted and the Bluetooth mic hasnt worked. The dealership determined that when I took the truck back to let them check it out and they ordered the parts that day. Well here it is 6-15-21 and Ive been calling the dealership since 10:00 am and it is now 320pm trying to figure out if my parts have came in. Every time I get to speak to an actual person they just forward my call to someone elses number who doesnt answer. So 5.5 hours and I cant get a single question answered and almost everyone that I have talked to has taken down my number but I havent received one call back. You would think after you have spent that kind of money you could atleast get someone to answer your question. Ill NEVER do business here again!

Service department gets a zero but that is not an option here. I took my Focus for an appointment to get a vibration checked, ignition checked and a tire sensor alert. The service technician informed me that it would be 125 bucks per issue just to diagnose the problem. 375 bucks before anything is done??? No thanks... I will never spend another dime with them!

WORST experience of my life.. My husband and I were treated HORRIBLY by one of the sales managers. When we arrived to sign papers and take possession of the car it wasnt ready. Still had ALL the window stickers on it, wasnt gassed up, no floor mats, just NOT ready. After the sales manager gets involved, he THREATENS to not sell us the car because we were not happy. He takes us into the showroom where he proceeds to INSULT us by saying he going to a different group of people because, they were going to spend more than we were..The ONLY reason we didnt walk is because this is the only model around for hundreds of miles.

One of the worst dealerships for customer service I have ever dealt with. My husband had called about a used Chevy Traverse and spoke to a lady and made an appointment for me to go in. I drag my 3 month old baby out with me in the rain to go to this dealership. I get there and am greeted by Jeremiah Titlow.. this is where things get bad. I after looking at the Traverse and telling him I wish to pursue it I sent him my pay off of my jeep wrangler like he requested. He told me that he would be in contact shortly and that the Traverse was going to auction soon so we needed to hurry. Well after that we were never called again until after the Traverse was gone and they were trying to sell us a vehicle we didnt want. Dont waste your time sending them your information or trying to buy a car from them. Obviously they are too busy sitting behind the desk playing on their phones to care or run numbers for a customer.

Absolutely Terrible. Took 2 days and 3 different service members just to tell me that the part I needed wasn’t covered under the warranty package I bought from them not 4 months ago. They could not care less if you’re an essential employee And need you’re vehicle to get to work. Love these places that say we’re in it together, but make sure you bring me that 500 dollars if you want you’re car back so you can go to work cause evidently they think Uncle Sam doesn’t mind? So bottom line they’re system sucks.

As I consulted with Michael Harrison about purchasing another car, I was pleased that he sought to determine what kind of car I would be comfortable driving. He also appeared to seriously consider that I was on a limited budget and needed to keep my car payments down in accordance with that budget. He and others who dealt with me worked hard to assure that I would be happy with the vehicle that they sold me. Although the buying process was rather lengthy, I left the dealership believing that I made the right choice of Ford vehicles.

Bottom line: Excellent experience at Ted Russell Ford buying a new Ford Ranger. Mary Lynn was the sales associate that I worked with. Low-key, upfront, no gimmicks, straight forward and patient.Ive used TR service Dept before and was quite pleased with their service and customer focus. But I was a bit apprehensive buying a new car. I thought I might get the standard sales pitch and gimmicks that other car dealerships use such as making you a great deal then saying I need to talk to my manager. I hate that.Instead the sales associate, Mary Lynn, I worked with was a pleasure to deal with. She worked to get every rebate from Ford I could possibly qualify for and was straight forward and direct about how much TR would deduct from the list price.She was also patient with me. The Ranger I was looking at didnt have all the accessories I was looking for. She started a diligent search looking for the vehicle I wanted. Six or so Trucks later, we found the right Ranger.While I expect my Ranger to last many years, if I need another vehicle, Ill return to TRF and ask for Mary.

My daughter recently had her Ford Focus serviced and I was very impressed with the level of attention and care she received. They found that her lug nuts were swollen and replaced them free of charge thus ensuring a simple flat tire change would be easy to change. Taking time to replace the lug nuts was impressive enough but doing it free of charge really impressed me. Thank you Ted Russell Ford, and Thank you Matt Goss!!!!!

Avoid going here at all costs if you can for repairs. I’m sure they are great in other areas of service but unfortunately I trusted these guys 3 times with my Ford Fiesta. First time they replaced clutch, overcharged me and took advantage of me. Second time they replaced a sensor in my transmission and didn’t tell me that more work needed to be done so 3 months later my transmission service light came on again and they gladly replaced one more sensor. The next day it broke down and another auto shop said the bolts weren’t put on correctly and now I need to be a new transmission over $7,000 because they didn’t inform me of all that was wrong and clearly didn’t want what was best. Very sad. Do not go there for transmission service

Do NOT go this dealer if you are from out of state and need service. We went in for routine oil change and trans flush and told them that our brakes needed to be checked as well because the brakes were squealing and Emergency brake was sticking. Their solution.... don’t use your emergency brake and we put anti squeal on your rotors. Really Ford!!! What happened to quality and service??!!

I generally do my basic F-150 service with Ford as the Works deal is good. I am moving to Knoxville so went to the Ford dealer for my 100,000 mile service. The bottom line was that the cost just to install a $30 component was $100 and that was after I questioned the invoice and he reduced it $50. I will find a local mechanic to replace brake pads at a reasonable cost along with the 100,000 mile transmission flush. I will though return to Ford for basic oil changes and tire rotations.

We drove from Atlanta to this dealer for one very specific vehicle. Put a deposit to hold the car, as it was going to take some time to get there. Upon arrival we see the vehicle we came for. We go inside meet our associate. Stop by the bathrooms, that let me just tell you Im glad we had our masks on-besides the point. The associate told us there was minor wear and tear with no accidents, when speaking to him prior to driving 180 miles (ONE way). The car was nice but absolutely deceiving. The front had what seemed to be a past incident with decent damage to the front passenger side bumper, and to the back passager side rear panel. He stated he sent an imbedded video showing the details of the car. The video did not send with the email. When we were talking to our sales associate he just kept repeating well I thought you knew. The used car sales manager, Dana Johnson, came out telling us an 80 yr old man owned this car who was a dentist and if he didnt get the price he wanted he was going to leave. That had nothing to do with us buying this vehicle, but it seemed that he was trying to tell us that he was not going to discount the vehicle for the damage since he was in so deep . When Mr. Johnson rushed away, we went back to our vehicle as our sales man took the car to the detail shop to see if there was anything they could do,but they were closed. Just to take sure we did not miss soemthing in the pictures online we went back to the site to check and indeed the pictures that were on their website @ Tod Russell Lincoln were NOT this vehicle. They took the photos of another vehicle in which they sold the day before, same make model and all, and used them to deceive and lie. When we went in to see the manager, Dana Johnson to expressed our disappointment in how this dealership conducts business. He scuffed and was blamed EVERYTHING on the sales associate and took zero responsibility for how the ad was presented. As a manager you take responsibility, you accept that you messed up and you work on it. But this is obviously not how this man or dealership works. We left without the vehicle that we wanted.

Communication was always stellar, and the repairs were up to our expectations.We decided we wanted to stick with the Ford brand based on our recent experience, and the purchase of our new Expedition did not disappoint. I have owned a pre owned vehicle bought fromTed Russell Ford almost a year ago. I have only has issues since the purchase. “They obviously did zero diagnostics or maintenance to the vehicle” just clean and sell.Within the first week it need $1,258 in repairs that did not show until a week after driving. . The sensor system easily checked with a diagnostic tool was apparently wiped clean before purchase. Once I contacted the dealer they would only pay for half and even then they never followed through.Now I sit with a constant CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, electronic issues, and now mechanical issues. And have lost well over 25% of the value of the vehicle because I was sold a LEMON !!!! Should have never purchased and wanted to let everyone know that you can not trust these people.Avoid at all cost because the “deal you are getting” is just a gateway to disappointment with this company.I have called the number on the response below weeks ago and zero response!

They discovered a control arm bent and needed to be replaced, and the care I received was absolutely wonderful. I cannot express enough thanks for Rhonda who helped me thru this.
