Chuck is very kind. Thats the one star. My vehicle has been there for EIGHT WEEKS and two days, so far, to replace an engine. That takes a couple days. How they are willing to allow anybody to go without their vehicle for that long is baffling, not to mention keeping a bay tied up that long. I see these other reviews talking about how quickly they had work done. So, clearly my hold up isnt actually because the short staff excuse I keep getting. 🤷‍♀️.

We were passing through Knoxville on our way to our vacation destination when the dreaded check engine light came on. It was mid-day on a Saturday, so we didnt have many options. We left the vehicle with Chuck at Precision Tune and continued on our way. Chuck and I stayed in contact throughout the week and he even drove it back/forth to an exhaust shop nearby for additional work Precision Tune doesnt do. At the end of the week, we came back through Knoxville and we picked up the vehicle. I would have been in a world of hurt without the outstanding care and service Chuck provided. KUDOs!!

Jack is an insanely hard working individual. Taking numbered customers even though he is the only one in(everyone is out sick) was incredible. I work at Verizon across the street at the Broadway location. My brakes were in terrible condition to the point of I couldn’t wait any longer. I came by at 8:10 to get my brakes repaired and found out he was the only one there and I even offered to come back, and he still took me in and had my car ready by 3. This is the only service I will use to fix my girlfriends car, her families car, my families car, and my car! This place is very hospitable. Great people. Great prices.

Got me back on the road the same day and my car drives better than I can EVER remember it handling! I need a new hose for my reservoir tank and I will 100% be taking it back! They apparently do not work with the warranty provider that I have that they supposedly work with. Very unprofessional front desk personnel.

I have went to see them when I had a low tire---they didnt ask questions--they put air in my tire and said Have a great day. I needed a bulb replaced in my head light--I bought the bulb and went to see them. AGAIN--put the bulb in for me. There are so many little things they do for their customers--thats why I go to them for maintenance on my car. They know me. They know my cars. Customer service is the BEST!

Jake at the Broadway location was SOOOO helpful. Being a woman its hard finding a place you can feel comfortable taking your car. I had gone to several different places before going and speaking to Jack. He made me feel very comfortable knowing I was not overpaying he also listened to all of my concerns and was very helpful. My car went from being undrivable to driving like a brand new car. I just cant even put into words how pleased I am! Jake helped us work through an ordeal that has been going on for months with multiple estimates and quotes from other people. We literally dropped our car off one day had the estimate the same day. And our car was completely fixed and returned to us by the end of business the very next day. Our car hasnt driven this good since we bought it. We will be using them again! Thanks soooo much! We honestly thought about just scrapping the car BUT JAKE SAVED THE DAY!!! We are not easily pleased lol but we are very happy we chose them to give our business.

I came in to have a solenoid replaced on my vehicle. I dropped in the day of no appointment. I had to wait, but the whole ordeal was pretty good. Expert staff. Professional, and friendly. Highly recommended

Came in for oil change & tire rotation. It took twice as long as estimated up front for what was a simple service. Then, I was over-charged for the service by at least $20 more than was originally quoted up front. Dishonest transaction. The front desk associate wasn’t helpful when I brought up the issue. I won’t be back.

Worst place I been...first I have to wait more than 2-3 hrs...but not big deal if the service is good...wich wasnt...second there was a kid from one of the technician in the working bay area all aver the cars...and third I took my car after service was done... On my way home...guest what...i start noticing that smoke was comming out of the hood...when I park and verify...the oil cap was not put on...needless to say that the engine and the car had oil all over...a mess so I call the place and Chuck answered, I splain to him what happened he told me to bring the car back...not acceptable...i spent my time and money...wont be back in any precision and tune never again. I do have pics and video but I cant posted here. So piss. Lucky my car engine didnt break or something like that. 😏😡

They were suppos1t to check my car for any problems... I paid these guys almost $100 to make sure my car was in tip top shape ... First off the owner or manager Chuck called me be for they close and rushed me out going over the sheet another guy LEFT very fast and waving my ?????s .... Told me they check my struts .... I call today and ask why are there loud sounds coming from my tire 2 days later if you guys checked it all ... He replied: we only check certain things we didnt drive the car .... ??????

I love coming here to get my car oil changed. They are very nice and professional. And will let you know upfront if they can get to you immediately or if there will be a wait time. I like that a lot and stead making me wait around for a long period of time. I have gotten two of my cars serviced here over the course of 2 years and I hope to do many more years of business with them.

Chuck and his team of mechanics did a great job fixing my vehicle today. My husband called in the morning and they gave us a fair price on an estimate for a wheel bearing replacement for our 2005 Focus. They got to my repair quickly and called a few hours later when they were finished. The price was exactly what our estimate was. They were very professional. Happy to have my car back but even more excited to have found a reliable honest mechanic shop!

I am extremely disgusted and disappointed with the service I received today. I dropped my car off at 9am they had my car for a total of 5 hours just for them to call and tell me they will work on the car Monday and they charged me $124 for nothing. I will never do back to precision auto again!!! If you are smart you won’t either

As a new customer to Precision, I am very impressed by my first visit. My Tahoe needed new brake pads, and Chuck gave a very competitive estimate via phone. I dropped off the vehicle with six other jobs ahead of me, but the work was completed in 2 hours, much less time than I expected. Equally important, the crew did not try to upsell new rotors or any other supposedly needed repairs. They performed the work I knew was needed for a great price with excellent service. Tough news about my vehicle but the staff was ok and walked me through what was wrong before I blew more money on it

Attempted to get my transmission serviced at a quick oil change, that assured me they could do it. Needless to say they could not. Called Chuck and he told me to bring it in on Saturday. They finished in time promised and at cost quoted.

Great place! Went in and got my oil change and I used school coupon to save $5 plus the mechanic explained that I should change my air filter..my choice. I thought about it and realized Ive never changed it. So I had it done..in and out 30 mins. Even top off all fluids. Great team there. Better than everywhere else Ive been. $21 oil change. Cant beat it for the service they offer.

They refuse to make appointments and were not friendly when i asked for one (I was unaware if they do or not). I attempted to walk in twice and the wait was over 2 hours, and they were not apologetic. Only complained about their staff not showing up for work. I will not be doing business with them.

I would like to say that the staff at Precision Auto, on N. Broadway in Fountain City, is honest and professional. I take my vehicles for regular oil changes. When I ask about a recommendation made for maintenance on my cars, they respect my opinion and offer several choice solutions for my specific needs. Several of my family members are of the car industry and also have recommended myself and my mother to go to them for a fair and honest treatment to car service. The manager, Chuck is the one I work with most. I am glad to share my opinion of my experience.

Ive been going to the same location to get my oil change for about 10 years it just feels like home Chuck or who ever is behind the desk is always so helpful and attentive just a nice atmosphere.

Brought an 06 Subaru Outback to get checked out (I was deciding on whether to purchase the vehicle or not). This particular vehicle had been driven in upstate Need York, so rust was a big fear of mine. Chuck and the guys at precision went way above and beyond on my vehicle inspection. They spent a good hour maticulously looking over every square inch of the vehicle. They found a few things that caught my attention, and their professional approach, and opinions really helped me to decide against purchasing what could potentially be a lemon. They didnt overcharge me at all for the work that was done, and I didnt have to wait very long as a walk in. Bottom line: If you want your car to be taken good care of for a fair price by someone with good knowledge then you need to come here. I was overly satisfied, and will be returning for every maintenance need. P.S. Did I mention they like to remember their customers names and faces? To me that is a big deal. Several customers had walked in, and were greeted by name! That is exactly the type of customer service you want when that person is working under the hood or your vehicle. Go here, and you wont be dissappointed.

This of the only shop I go to. Chuck always explains everything and never does any work without calling first. He has saved me money by just telling me what needs done so that I can do it myself. I recommend them to anyone I talk to needing a shop to go to. The mechanics are all friendly and east to talk to.

Always fantastic. Cant beat their deals on oil changes - best rates in town. And they never find extra things wrong with my car like other oil change companies do. I went in a couple of weeks ago because my brakes were squeaking. After a free inspection, they said that the pads were just fine. They could only GAIN from my gullibility if they chose to prey upon that, but they didnt. That speaks volumes in my book. Would (and DO!) go back, and would recommend it to anyone.

I like that I could just roll in without notice (it was an unplanned, but needed stop for me)... and was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes. Wasnt pressured with any upselling, and felt like they gave my car a pretty solid work around. Filled my tires to the right pressure, checked my belts and hoses, made note of any potential issues (my TPMS is faulty, but I only intend on addressing that when I have to replace my tires), but said that all was good to get me back on the road. Didnt even have to give my name when I walked in... the Manager at the counter mustve ran my tag as soon as I parked and casually said upon walking in, Hello! What can we do for you today, Daniel? I was caught off-guard that he already knew my name being that my last visit was about six months prior, but thats a solid sign of a business wanting to do right by the customer. That extra touch... it goes a long way. I liked that I could see my car being worked on from the waiting area, and feel like I can turn to them for future maintenance needs. I fully intend on doing more extensive services with these guys. Even listening to how they talk with customers on the phone in passing... its a stand-up business. A good value, a welcoming environment, making you feel like an old pal. I appreciate that.

I went there for to change my oil pan and they messed with something else. I asked them what they did and all they said was they did what I paid them to do. My car was running perfectly fine until they did the labor on my car for the oil pan.

They put washer fluid in my coolant an didnt even fill the washer side
