My purchase experience actually began with a service inquiry. I was in the market for a used LC 500 and although I wasn’t able to locate one locally that I was interested in, I wanted to have it serviced locally. With that said, Matt Foster promptly responded to my inquiry and answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable using Lexis of Knoxville. Then Matt not only made me a really good offer for a new LC but he also put me in contact with Logan Waggoner who then further worked with me to close the deal and sale. I was able to negotiate a price prior to ever setting foot in the dealership. I can honestly say that my time spent purchasing my LC was the least stressful and actually pleasant experience while purchasing a vehicle that I have had to date. Considering that this LC is by far my largest vehicle car purchase, that says a lot about Lexus of Knoxville. I have bought many cars over the years, but I’ve never had the amazing customer service like I did at Lexus of Knoxville. Stony was the most helpful salesperson ever, Lexi was the kindest finance person, Clayton has even helped me with my I T issues reduce in his off hours and Jamison helped me with my hubby’s car when it wouldn’t start in the parking lot.I have been there multiple times and I highly recommend them to anyone!!!
I was working with a sales rep, who was doing an excellent job with excellent communication, on a used car that was still being detailed. He took me to show the car in detail to give me visibility and to ensure my interest which I assured him that I would like to proceed. I expressed that I was willing to do what it took to reserve the car. I was instructed to wait. There were other cars that I passed on only to have the vehicle sold from underneath me. The sales manager, Daniel Flores, has yet to call me back. It is obvious that customer service and customer satisfaction is not a concern. It is unfortunate that they are the only Lexus dealer in Knoxville. I would suggest Nashville or Atlanta to purchase your vehicle.

We were on vacation driving through Knoxville TN, when our 10,000 mile oil change and inspection came due. We called for an appointment and they got us in right away. It was a great experience all the way around. When we brought the car in, we explained to Russell we had some questions on a couple features of the car. He called their tech specialist, Colton, who immediately came over. He sat in our car and went through all our questions. The overall experience was truly exceptional! They definitely added the “wow factor” to our visit. Russell and Colton did an excellent job representing Lexus. We would definitely use their service again! Thanks for a great experience!
Took my car in to let them inspect a squeaking noise of my car. Then, told me my transfer case is bad and need to be replaced (more than $6,000) charged me $200 for inspection. I appreciated they found the culprit of the noise and drove my car back home. Then, I tried to lubricate the drive shaft of my car and the noise disappeared right away after that. Then, I asked them why they told me my transfer case is bad rather than just lubricate my drive shaft, and got an answer that they believe my transfer case is bad. They just waste your time and money. Maybe what they are only good at are just oil change and regular maintenance. I am asking my money back.
I didn’t purchase my Lexus from this dealership. It’s a Long story, but had a flat tire today. Called AAA to come change the tire! They couldn’t do it because my car didn’t come with a lug nut key! Who knew??? So I called Lexus of Knoxville and even though I wasn’t my best self, the service manager calmly and kindly told me he’d take care of it and sent a service technician to my home with a box of lug nut keys. Greg worked hard in the heat to get this tire changed and I couldn’t be more impressed with his determination to get it done. There were numerous obstacles to overcome and he didn’t complain or give up! I highly appreciate Lexus of Knoxville and their outstanding service! Thank you!!!

Best car buying experience! Cathy Vandergriff went above and beyond helping me purchase my RX350. She explained all the features and walked me through the entire process. We had an exceptional experience here. My wife traded for an SUV. Worked with Logan as our sales rep and Daniel in Finance as well as an effective personalization rep who provided great service as well. We test drove 3 different cars and were treated well be every person we encountered from the friendly receptionist to the other sales folks who werent working with us. We got a fair deal and were in and out of the dealership in less than 90 minutes which is awesome. Of note is the excellent certified car program they offer that warrants the vehicle for 6 years from their purchase with unlimited miles. We will service the vehicle here and hope the experience continues to be world class.
Was contacted by Lexus of Knoxville about extended service contract on my Lexus ES 350. I bought this vehicle at another location that sold low mileage leased vehicles. The lady on the phone wanted my mileage etc. She then proceeded to tell me she could over me the service agreement still but it would be a high risk category. I politely asked her to email me the details. Was told she could only do so if she stayed on the phone so I could make a decision. In the era of auto warranty scams they are the best. I wouldn’t buy or have my vehicle service by these scammers if it was the LAST AUTOMOTIVE PLACE IN ALL OF EAST TENNESSEE!!! Buyer BEWARE!!!! SCAMMERS!!

We purchased a 2020 RX 350 from this dealership. At that time we purchased the maintenance plan and something called Auto Butler. We have since moved to Chattanooga, and are now finding out that the Auto Butler program does not exist here, in fact it does not exist anywhere within a 100 mile radius. We can drive back to Knoxville (2+ hour drive) and have the service performed there. When we asked about a loaner car - so we could at least run errands and do something while in Knoxville - they said NO. Please be aware of this if you decide to purchase any of then”extras” from this dealership. We had been told we could cancel and receive the unused portion back of both programs if we needed to in the future…they forgot to tell us that was only for the first 30 days. My husband was military and we move often…so we always ask these questions up front…I guess this is all our fault for actually believing their answers. Buyers be aware when shopping at Lexus if Knoxville.

The entire team we worked with was a delight and answered all our questions. After taking the car home I scheduled a walk thru to understand how my car operates. Colton was very helpful and knowledgeable. The service provided at Lexus of Knoxville is worth every penny!
I took my Lexus in for a couple of recalls and for a brake check. They were very soft—having to push almost to the floor to stop. After checking the brakes, the service consultant told me that the tech had found that one of the calipers had seized and would need to be replaced. Also, the master cylinder would need to be replaced ($1800). I thanked him and asked how much for the replacement caliper part. I had planned to have my husband install it. Well…..the tech actually broke a mounting pin and therefore the car was not drivable. So, I had to have them replace the caliper ($385). After replacing the caliper, the service consultant called to let me know that it really didn’t fix the problem, but if they replaced the master cylinder (now $1200), they felt it would fix it. I thanked them again and said I would come get my car. He said that they recommended that I not drive it because it was not safe. In my opinion, this was to get me to pay for the master cylinder replacement. When I arrived, the brakes were as they were when I dropped off my car. No better—no worse. They had broken my antenna and it was laying in the passenger seat. I asked, and was told, it was probably that way before they removed it to wash the car. However, they would order one and would let me know when it arrived…still waiting. Long story short—they charge a lot of money so you better have some understanding of cars or they might take you for a ride.
Wonderful to work with Catherine at Lexus of Knoxville, she was so helpful and a true pleasure to work with. We came in late to get the vehicle we had test drive earlier that day. It was the old, lets think about it deal, and by the time we decided, it was getting close to closing time, called her and she started our paperwork and got the ball rolling, fastest Ive ever bought a vehicle, and we will definitely be going back to see her again for our next vehicle purchase

Very unhappy with experience at Dealer. Very snooty unless you are willing to pay full price. Salesman told me no incentive on a $90,000 LS. He did not offer me his card. When I left the dealership I called Nashville Lexus and they told me there is $3000 incentive. Very dishonest. You can save thousands and they will deliver from Atlanta, Chattanooga or Nashville and you can have it serviced in Knoxville.
Buyer beware!! Take vehicle to get it inspected before you buy especially coming from this dealership. I took my 2018 Kia to get inspection a month after purchasing it here, and the inside of tires are completely bald and it needs a alignment. Completely my fault for trusting a Lexus dealership.
Disappointed in today’s service.Went in for the 29K oil change and tire rotation and was told I need new tires??? Would not rotate them because they were too worn? Shouldn’t these be under warranty with 29K miles and serviced at your location per the recommendations?

In the past, when buying a car and meeting with overbearing salespeople, we opted to buy online. We sent out an inquiry to 6 dealerships. Lexus of Knoxville beat all others. We drove 200miles to buy from them. When we arrived, we were met by Jim Robinson. (Our salesman, Logan Waggoner was on vacation) and Jim expedited the entire process. Lexie Avery was pleasant to deal with for the final paperwork. After a short time, we met the General Manager, Nordehl Unbehaun. Upon returning home, we realized we had left a couple items in our old car. We contacted Nordehl, and he personally went to look for the items and found them. He even sent them to us in overnight delivery! Unbelievable. All in all, we would recommend this dealership and have already done so. The McAlhanys

Working at a dealership myself, I searched for the same qualities and customer service that I see at my dealership. Boy were my expectations exceeded greatly! Truly top notch service. Shane in the service department was extremely helpful and informative. From the minute my car got there to when I picked it up, there was no disconnection the entire time. Solid follow-up, always kept me informed on the progress of my car, and super friendly. My car had a strange issue, and they managed to work out the bugs and get me back on the road. I’m a happy camper! I’ll absolutely be back to the service department in the near future, and possibly to buy a new Lexus from the dealership eventually. 5 stars!!

Told her what I was looking for and what price And she immediately went to work looking for a car that would fit my budget. I went out of town for a week to visit family when I got back I got in touch with her and asked her if she still had a SUV we talked about because used Lexus go fast and she had one for me ..she brought it by my house to let me test drive it. I love the vehicle and the price was right ..the next day my wife and I went by the dealership traded in my car and got a 2015 Lexus. Catherine Vandergriff worked a deal out for me.. After hearing so much about excellent Lexus cars and service we were very excited to pursue buying an RX450 in Knoxville. Salesman assured us he could find the RX450 we wanted at the max price point we needed. They priced the car $2K over our max and was unwilling to come down $2K for the sale. Also Lexus charges $8/mo for remote start, something no other car mfg does. We are pleased with the car we ended up purchasing from another dealership and Very Disappointed with Lexus of Knoxville sales.
Shiloh is hands down the most attentive and knowledgeable Lexus service representative I’ve ever had in my 10 years of owning Lexus vehicles. Her and the other Lexus personnel always make sure that their customers are in the best of hands.

If I was giving this rating based on my salesman Logan, it would be a five star. He was awesome to work with when I bought my car and he deserves to be acknowledged for that. But, here’s a warning for anyone looking to buy their “factory extended warranty”. You are probably going to be paying thousands of dollars for nothing. I had normal wear and tear maintenance done on my car at a shop in my home town. Just brake pads. I took my car in to Lexus of Knoxville this week for a noise in the back that’s been going on for months, and a weird noise in the front every time I hit a bump or a rough surface on the road. According to the service Dept. The “after market brakes” are causing the noise in the front. Ok fine. I understand that brakes are not a warranty issue so I’ll handle that. Now, for the very nerve wrecking clunking noise in the back. They tell me that is the sunroof cable issue. Is this covered under my “extended factory warranty”? NO. When I asked if it would be covered under the original factory warranty, YES. So don’t be fooled by thinking you are extending the original factory warranty because you are not. The cost to fix this noisy cable! TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.

The first great impression happened when I set up my appointment & the lady quickly offered me a loaner vehicle for the day!My Associate was very courteous & we discussed concerns I had and the need to have several things checked to determine what was required to put the car back into good condition. He was helpful, had the technician meet me after the work had begun and discussed essential things to be done. The technician covered what he did and he drove the car & indicated it was in great running condition again. They recommended new tires soon for the 2 rear tires, which I will do going forward. The bill was a bit higher than expected but I have confidence it was well spent.I feel good that I had the car at the dealership for review as it had been awhile since a general evaluation had been done.Its been a great car and driven (with great pleasure by me) over 100,000 miles!Thank you and all the great staff at Lexus Knoxville!
If you want a terrible experience and sales person go here. They found me the car I wanted, I put a deposit on it so they could receive the car, I signed paperwork, only to be called the day I was going to pick up the car and told that they messed up on my financing. BRICE wrote down the wrong numbers on my payoff for my trade in because he was too worried about making a sale. Which made my payment almost double in cost. James and Steve were both wonderful and worked very hard to get my payment to where I wanted it and I would have resigned the paperwork with a higher payment (because I understand that people make mistakes) if it wasn’t for BRICE. BRICE decided to tell me that I needed to be flexible with how much my payment was (I’m sorry but you’re not making the payment I am) and proceeded to tell me that they got that car in on good faith that I was purchasing it (which I was and I had put down a deposit for the car as well) as well as tell me it was my fault (he’s the one that wrote everything down wrong) and for me to not work with him in the future (which I will not be)He lost a sale because he wanted to act like a child. This is the second time he has messed up and I’m honestly surprised they still let him try to sell cars with his attitude.I took my business to a different dealership that was wonderful, talked to me like a person, and helped me purchase my new car with no problems or rude behavior.If you must go here to get a Lexus I highly suggest working with James instead.
They pulled a bait and switch. Looked at a vehicle online that was supposed to be at this location. Set up an appointment to look at it and value my trade. Got there and they tell me that the vehicle is not at this store but we can look at what they do have. Needless to say I left.
My wife and I visited Lexus of Knoxville to purchase a new GX460. We had a rough start with negotiating a final price. Mr. Charlie Vesser intervened in a professional manner and was able to close the deal. Mr. Vesser is truly a person with high manners and integrity. He worked with us to sell us a car with the options we wanted, and he helped us through the purchase process. The day after we purchased the car my wife visited the dealership give special thanks to Mr. Vesser who spent time explaining the high-tech features of the car to my wife. We will be buying another Lexus car from Lexus of Knoxville in the near future. We will take our car for service there as well.
First time to Knoxville Lexus... we were greeted promptly and Rhett, our Service contact greeted us and reviewed our information and gave us a loaner and we were on our way. Our car needed a 10,000 mile service check and everything seemed to be ok.... Had my vehicle in for service a few weeks ago. When I got home I noticed all 4 of my wheels had been scuffed near the center where the lug nuts are. Im rather OCD about my vehicle so I contacted the service manager who told me to bring it in. Dropped it off then got a call they didnt damage it and it wasnt their problem.I believe servicing your vehicle with the dealership is important because they are trained on the brand and helps resale value.I work in the car business and believe a reputation for a dealership is extremely important. Nor do I believe in leaving a negative review with out merit. I can get my wheels fixed at my work and its inexpensive but I believe the responsible party should fix it.No such luck. This being after I had it in previously for service and asked them to check on a rattle from the driver side window controls. Their solution was just to turn the bass to negative 2 so it didnt rattle any more and when I contacted them they said to just bring it back...I love the Lexus brand and have always had an impeccable experience with service but the last two visits will be my last.

My mother has purchased what was supposedly a L/Certified used Lexus. (A 161 point inspection)It had some minor dings on the car when she bought it and the day after she bought it, the low tire light kept coming on. She called the dealership at that time, they told her it might be the spare tire. She had it checked, at another place at the request of Lexus, and nothing was found. Today, she took it to Lexus to have her first maintenance check etc. They give her a loaner car for the day. They called her later this evening and said that whoever owned the car before never had the tires rotated, that one of the tires had a 3 inch gash on the inside of the tire and they would not release her car to her due to safety reasons unless she paid $1200 for new tires! She gave them permission to switch out tires and the only thing I can say to Lexus of Knoxville and Bryce!! Is that you better be glad that I wasnt there!! I would have never allowed you to take advantage of my mother as you just have!! I have always thought Lexus and their dealerships were a step above all the other dealerships, but today has shown me that you are just like any dealership out there! Take advantage when you can!! If she needs her car serviced again, I will take it somewhere else!!
The service techs make the service managers look bad. I feel bad for Shane because he is just the middle man between the mechanics and myself.After taking my car in the first time and spending $1500 for one part and $800 on other services my wife picked the car up and immediately called me and said it was absolutely not fixed. (I would think a service tech would catch this in his post service test drive if my wife noticed it immediately - Makes me wonder if the test drive actually happened).I went back the next morning so I could discuss the situation instead of my wife explaining to them. Now they want another $3000 to fix it. Had I not just thrown $1500 at it with ZERO positive outcome towards the problem I would have the confidence to say yes.I took this vehicle to Lexus because they are supposed to be the pro and I do not have time to deal with it. Now I have wasted a ton of time making two trips to the dealer, spent $1500 with nothing to show for it, and still have to take more time to either fix this myself or take it to another dealer. At this point I’m extremely didappointed with Lexus and will replace these parts with Toyota parts so I don’t have to mess with it again.I still give them two stars because Shane was a great guy to work with and they supplied a nice loaner vehicle. But their actual mechanics are miserable at their jobs and I wouldn’t trust them to change my oil.

The service department at Lexus of Knoxville is superb. The level of care and professionalism we have experienced there far exceeds anything else we have experienced at any other Lexus dealership. I drive 2 hours (past another dealership 30 minutes from my house) to have my car serviced at Lexus of Knoxville because of the quality workmanship my car receives and the gracious treatment I receive.

Marcus came in while I was picking up my car and asked why I had not taken advantage of the courtesy car wash and assured me that their brushless system would not leave swirls on the paint. He even said he would personally vacuum and clean the interior so I would not have to wait too much longer. The car looked great when Marcus brought it back to me. Brice, who helped us purchased the vehicle, stated that once we were part of the Lexus family we would never leave. Hes right!
Service efficient and very friendly. Service rep is 22 on scale of 1 to 10. She is excellent. Level of service keeps me coming back. Nothing to improve. Keep this level of quality and service.

Lexus of Knoxville has very helpful team that worked to find us the exact car we wanted. They were very patient as we drove different vehicles trying to make up our mind. I bought a Lexus SUV this past year and whenever I’ve taken it to the dealership for service they treat me with so much respect and courtesy. They never try and tell you there’s something wrong to get more money out of you. Very honest people here in service department!!
As always, service was excellent. Whether it is a larger or smaller service, everyone is always friendly and more than willing to help at any capacity. The facilities are high-end and help maintain the overall Lexus image. Definitely will buy another Lexus just to continue coming to the service department.
On 8/9/2018 the teck. instructor, Brook knew the ES 350 car inside out. She answered all of our questions quickly and we were done in 20 minutes. She also allowed me to make a movie of the instruction. This will be very helpful for reviewing in the future.Al C.
Shane is an exceptional advisor. He went above and beyond to make sure that all of my needs were met and then I was completely happy with my service, loaner and experience. The only thing that bothered me was the person who cashed me out was not friendly or even talked much. I had to ask how much my bill was and even then, she didnt seem thrilled with her job. But rather then that... I give Shane 5 Stars

We were told before we bought our vehicle that if anything needed repair we would be provided a courtesy vehicle similar to ours & the service would be excellent. We had a towing package added to our vehicle & when it came in they called us, provided a vehicle, did excellent work on the installation, & washed it & vacuumed it as well!! The courtesy of the staff is excellent & the service was as well! We are very impressed!!
FAKE DEALERSHIP Got a written estimate for repair and when took to the dealer to get the repairs done they wanted 5 times more then the written estimate.When one of the managers seen this review they emailed me and said we will have this matter resolved and how much they take care of their customers but called back after 2 days said we can’t do anything thing.FAKE DEALERSHIP.Your dealership didn’t do proper inspection before you gave me an estimate if you did your job properly there was no way to miss the damage you guys are just full of excuses.

I was traveling near Knoxville 11/1/19 and experienced a problem with our 2019 GX460, the nav screen and associated controls were not working. We called Lexus of Knoxville to see if we could get a service appointment. We were connected with Jamison who quickly diagnosed our problem and was able to get our system working again with a quick troubleshoot and reset function. A huge thank you to Jamison for his expertise and willingness to help.
Great experience! Great Price without haggling! I am 3 hours from Knoxville but they were willing to trade with another dealer to get the exact vehicle I wanted. I dealt with Daniel Flores this time, next time I will just go straight to Knoxville and skip all the hassle I went through at another dealership. If Daniel is still there he will have another regular customer.
I want you to be aware of the experience we received today and while we will never purchase a car from Lexus of Knoxville. Over a week ago we were in an accident that totaled my Gx 460 and we were looking to replace ours. We had dealt with a salesman( Peter) for a week regarding a grey one. Due to my face and the way it looked, my anxiety with driving and my husband trying to catch on work he missed while being out we were only working via phone. We got there today though at 9 am to test drive it. We had already worked a deal via phone. When we arrived Peter put us with Andrew because he had an appointment. We were ready to buy it but we wanted some scratches buffed out and to certify it. We were told by the salesman there was someone else looking at it but we were the first to come in so we would be first. After sitting there while they were supposedly preparing stuff they sold it out from under our feet. The manager asked us why it took us a week to get out to look at the car to which I said do you see my eyes??? We were in a wreck a little over a week ago. It’s not been easy to get out. My husband (yelled) because we had a wreck and almost died, we have been Lexus owners for 3 years and we were just trying to replace what we lost but we are done with you all. This was just about a few thousand dollars and that’s why you sold it out from under usI can not believe that a dealership would behave this way and that they would allow a manager to talk to customers this way

We just purchased our new 2015 RX 350 sport model from Logan Waggoner. We have never enjoyed the process of purchasing a new car. Other car sales representatives could learn from Logan how to treat a prospective customer. He represented his company but made us feel he was representing us as well in the buying process.
