We got in a car accident on vacation and had our vehicle towed to this dealership. Our insurance company worked with the service department but the rep at the service department kept us in the loop about the repairs and status updates. We had to drive almost 7 hours to pick our car back up but when we got there they had it ready to go and they were very thorough about letting us know how the repair went and other things they discovered while doing the repair. Very pleased with the service and communication.
I had the most incredible experience at this dealership. My car broke down 4 hours from my home and the people at this dealership were incredibly helpful. They made sure that I was comfortable and helped to ensure that I made it to all of my destinations safely. The service desk had the most incredible customer service and I highly recommend this dealership and service center.
A very pleasant experience, we knew what we want to look at from an on line visit, everyone very friendly, helpful, and no pressure, not pushy. We test drove, sat down as the salesman had another he was tending to. Polite, respectful, to be honest I didnt expect to be treated in such a way after a very bad experience at another dealership! This kind of treatment is rare in todays world and I want to think the staff we met and spoke with for that! In closing all I can say is keep up the good work and I will tell people about it!
Super super backed up and very difficult to get an appointment, ESPECIALLY on a Saturday. But they were able to work me in since that’s the only day I can go. The lady at the desk was amazing and helpful, made sure I didn’t miss my class. Thank you!
Received an estimate that I signed for basic service for one amount, received a final bill for the same services at almost twice the price. Apparently the estimate you sign doesn’t include any parts and only labor, with no warning on the front side. Service was fine, pricing practices are criminal.

Took my Atlas in and repair was done quickly. It was covered by the warranty but the price was half the cost quoted by another local shop. Amanda was very friendly and informative.

Harper Volkswagen is a 5 Star Company for sure! I worked with Steve Holmes as my Salesman, and I wouldnt trade him for anything! He took his time and explained everything to where I could understand it. He sent me off on my own to test drive the vehicle. I was gone for 30 minutes driving around and going over every little bit of the car with no questions asked when I got back. Once we submitted the Application, It didnt take 20 minutes and I was back signing paperwork. These were the most friendly people I have EVER dealt with. Rick, the Sales Manager was The Best. Adam was very polite and easy to interact with. They worked to get me a good deal on a used vehicle. The vehicle is in GREAT shape. Only complaint is the cleaning/detailing did not clean the inside of the doors or the sunroof.
Andy was phenomenal to deal with. Not a pushy guy. Knew exactly every detail about the car when I had questions. Expediently took care of paperwork and didn’t pressure us on add-ons (extended warranty). But he did a great job explaining all the add ins & advising on how they would cover given conditions. This is our second VW purchase and we will 100% buy here again.Service department is my fave in town! They are so helpful and respectful of my time. As a busy real estate agent I have to be able to stop in for oil too-offs & get back on the road quickly.We are Harper fans! The employees seem to love working here. I have a 2012 Volkswagen golf. The last time I had tires changed they kept my security Chuck key at Davids used tires. I couldnt change my tires because I couldnt get the lock off so I called Harper Volkswagen. Not only did they take that is lock keys off but they put me for lug nuts in their place without a lock on them. When it comes time to pay the gentleman said theres no charge thank you have a good day. Before this because of the warranty on a Volkswagen I had made the choice not to ever buy one again. But after the service that I have received from this location I have completely reconsidered that and definitely will look at a Volkswagen again. I really cant believe in this day and age someone did something for someone else for free and Im extremely impressed with the friendliness the hard work and dedication to their job. I went in for a headlight bulb replacement. They replaced the bulb I asked them to fix. I left the shop and the dashboard light wouldnt stop alerting me to a malfunctioning bulb. I took it back and was asked to bring it for another appointment the following day. Now, it is functiong perfectly. The staff are very kind and patient. I wish I could have had one appointment instead of two.
Harper Auto is an incredible dealership that offers a wide variety of premium autos across their many dealerships while still putting the needs of the customer first. Recently, I purchased a used vehicle from Harper Acura. From the first day I walked into the dealership I was assigned a sales rep, Steve Holmes, who took care of me every step of the way. I scheduled my appointment with ease online. When it was time, I took my car to HARPER VOLKSWAGEN and was greeted in the service department immediately. They asked all the pertinent questions about my vehicle and then off it went. I had the option of a loaner vehicle during the time that it would take for my car to be serviced, but I declined. Good thing I did because my car was ready to go within the hour and I was on my way. This was my first experience with HARPER VOLKSWAGEN and I absolutely love it!! I will be taking my car for any type of service. They are excellent!!

Harper Volkswagen was amazing! Originally, I was not planning for my car to be finished any sooner than 2-3 weeks due to high demand in the service center. As soon as my vehicle was brought to the service center, Amanda was in touch with me frequently to keep me updated on the process. A week later my car was ready to be picked up! Service department is great! What I thought would be a long drawn out process turned into 90 minutes of my time. My engine light was coming on intermittently for the past 6 weeks. Within just a little while they had it figured out and I was back out on the road. Thank you!
We purchased a preowned vehicle from Harper group last year. We had visited the VW location multiple times before deciding. We were always greeted by friendly staff. Great selection of new and preowned vehicles on the lot!! Prices were competitive. The parts department staff is super!! We will be back!!
My ID.4 was at Harper several days past the initial service date. I had to call several times to check on the status. They completed the 3 recalls just fine. The days at the service center were not the issue as were the lack of communication.The other two issues were the OK button on the steering wheel and the charging error on a road trip. My question is what does the OK button ok? I have yet to get it to ok anything.I am on a road trip now and my 95% charge this morning only took the car to 189 miles. This is very concerning. Thanks, still an ID.4 fan.

The work was done this past Wednesday and the price was exactly what she quoted,They are honest and efficient and the car was ready when promised. They also wash your car before returning to you. We have recently moved to this area.The service was done correctly, but the service advisors did not speak when we arrived until we stated that we had an appointment. The estimate was $230, which is slightly more than our other dealer had charged, but the bill was $288 with no additional services done. Another odd event was that they did not open the service drive thru door when we arrived because they said they didnt want to let the ac air out, it was 81 degrees at that time.

I went tp Harper Volkswagen to look at an Atlas. I was pleasantly surprised that they had several. When we looked at the car the interior was not very clean. It did not appear that it had been detailed yet. My salesman told me they would clean it after it was purchased. We did decide to purchase the car. I love it! But even though it went to be cleaned and I bought the additional package to have the interior sprayed to protect it. The car was never actually cleaned. There was an old sticker on the inside of the windshield that had not been removed, there were spots on the ceiling, and even food in one of the middle seat floor tracks. Not soon after I bought my $35,000 car I received an email from Carfax stating that my car was due for an alignment. I would have thought that this would have been done before the car was sold but apparently not. I really do love my car but I did not feel that Harper provides quality through their service department.I received an advertisement for their auto wash and based on the state of my car when I took it home I do not think that service would be worth the cost.However, we worked with Trever the manager of finance to go through and sign all the paperwork and I thought he was great. Very informative and answered all my questions.But overall I would not recommend Harper Volkswagen but I would 100% recommend a Volkswagen Atlas.

Going in solo to the dealership I never felt that I was being taken advantage of and I always felt that my concerns were being listened to.My sales person, Steve, patiently worked with me to narrow down my choices and explained purchase/lease options that were available. He went over the pros of each vehicle I was interested in and throughout that process I never felt pressured to make a snap decision nor did I feel like I was being pushed towards a more expensive option(s). While I was making a decision between leasing and purchasing Steve remained in contact with me via text message and was available to answer any questions I had.When I decided on a purchase Steve took my financial application over the phone. This meant when I came into the dealership to finalize the transaction I was there for less than an hour signing paperwork and going over the features in my new car.I’m extremely happy with my purchase and while I haven’t used the service center yet I was introduced to the team and given a tour of the facilities. An unexpected bonus to making a purchase at Harper is the complimentary trial of Harper Auto Wash. Wow! The service was outstanding and frustration free. My car came out looking just as good as the day I picked it up.This was my first purchase from Harper and I will definitely recommend them to anyone in the market to purchase a Volkswagen.

Over the past seven years, I have worked with all levels of the service department at Harper Volkswagen. They have always been accommodating, informative, and willing to help, even though I bought my VW at a competitor. A few examples include:1) I managed to break the steering wheel tilt lock one day. Turns out that is not a part that can generally be replaced without also replacing the whole steering wheel assembly on my model. To save me some money, they proactively called parts shops and dealers; they even went though some auction sites to see if they could find the part elsewhere.2) Last year, I had a sensor failure that left my car unusable. When I arranged for a towing company, they informed me I could not ride with them. I called the service department, who told me they would take care of it. They let me know when the car arrived, confirmed there were no obvious transportation damages, then got right to work. That saved me the cost of an Uber or having to ask a friend to take off work to drive me over there.3) My car has always been returned to me cleaner than when I dropped it off. It is to the point now that I am considering washing it next time in hopes that they will wax it to keep up the trend.Admittedly, I have had some unique situations crop up over the past several years. But even routine service is straightforward and painless, which is way more than I could say about the shops I used for my previous vehicles.I would definitely recommend them, and will continue to seek their expertise when I inevitably run into some other strange problem or circumstance. Thanks for continually going above and beyond to exceed my expectations.
Told $1600 parts and labor to fix a catalytic converter. When picking up the vehicle the price all the sudden went up to above $2000. They said labor charge. There wont be a next time at this dealership for me but will also get a contract in writing anywhere else from now on.

Ok so I have a 2015 jetta. I brought it in for service. The people were super nice to me and very helpful. What I am not happy about is how my car is after I’ve paid 600 dollars out of my pocket. I had an alignment done, my oil changed, had the a/c checked, and had them look at my front headlight. My car is still not driving straight and the steering wheel moves every time I hit a bump. They charged me for bulbs even tho they said the entire headlight needed to be replaced because of the wiring. I understand that, but when I took it in my blinker worked and now it doesn’t. I had initially told them that the wiring needed to be replaced but I guess they overlooked what I had told them. Then, told me it would cost another 600 dollars to replace?!I paid over 300 dollars just for service when only one thing was actually done, which was my oil change. I am super upset at these charges. It’s one thing to pay that amount of money and everything is fixed, but i feel I was highly overcharged and nothing was fixed. I will absolutely never go back to this place. You all changed my oil and did an alignment on my car and I had to shell out 600 dollars?? For what?? With all that being said, it’s not the people who are there, but the business itself that I am not happy with.
Harper Volkswagen offered spectacular service. I live in NJ and I was vacationing in TN. My car started malfunctioning and I was scheduled to head back to NJ the following day when I called Harper to service my car. They were booked that day and could not guarantee that my car would be fixed by the following day. However, they were aware of my situation and told me that they would do what they could so that I may be able to make it home the next day. Amanda(Receptionist) was super kind and kept me informed hourly. The staff at Harper offered superb service, they were able to find and fix the problem within a few hours. I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation and make it home the next day. They were very efficient. Although they were busy they still managed to meet my needs, I appreciate them immensely and would recommend them to anyone looking to get their car serviced. Thanks y’all 😍Erica Frandino

Harper VW does a great job with my Touareg and Passat. Jarrod, Amanda, and Chris are knowledgeable and honest and I feel like the cars are taken care of properly. Both cars run great. The Passat is pushing 220k with no issues yet.

This is a mixed review.. I recently purchased a used VW Beetle on 4/20/21. I give the gentleman who helped me (Glenn) 5 stars along with the gentleman who helped me in the loan department excellent reviews.Before purchasing my car I noticed that the bottom of my cupholder was completely out. I asked if it could be repaired and was assured it could be.I dropped my car off in the service department on 4/26 and left it overnight due to that they had to order the part.I was called the next morning telling me that the part had arrived and that they would replace the damaged part. Later that afternoon I picked up my car and both me and my sister noticed it had been POORLY glued and was still detached.The glue was on parts of my console and steering wheel. Granted I wasnt paying to have this done since this was part of the deal when purchasing my car but Im very disappointed in the way the service department handled this.In giving this review Id give the service department 2 stars.I have great respect for the Harper family and have always been treated well when purchasing a car but this made me feel as if they were trying to rush the job to get me out their hair so to speak.
