About a month ago my Volvo XC90 broke down on the interstate. Fortunately, the tow truck operator told me about Chris, Im not from the area so I was truly stranded. It was 5:30 by the time my car arrived at Swedish Car Parts & Service but Chris stayed open to secure my car, gave me a ride to a near by hotel and promised to check out my car first thing in the morning. He meant it,early the next morning Chris had my car up on the lift and had diagnosed the problem; blown transmission. While that is something he doesnt do in his shop, he called his transmission folks and made several calls on my behalf to get the car repaired and offered valuable advise He was an angel when I needed one most. Hes honest, a skilled Volvo mechanic, very professional and a great guy. Id give him 10 stars.

I brought my Volvo here to get it fixed several times and I was very pleased with the care and service I received . The owner was very honest and the prices were affordable . I highly recommend them and if I ever get another volvo again I will be bringing it here.

Got my S70 fixed and on the road again after a visit to Chris. Great mechanic and a wealth of knowledge on Volvos! Wont take my car to anyone else!

If you have a Volvo and need any kind of repairs, take it to Chris at Swedish Car Parts and Service. I had him do some extensive work last summer so that I could continue to enjoy my 2004 S60 Turbo. I could not believe how quickly he finished the work at a very reasonable price.

I dont like giving bad reviews but his service stood so far beyond bad I have to write this. I called before I dropped my 2011 xc60 off. The owner stated that he would most likely be able to fix it. The first day it was there I never received a call asking what was wrong. Finally I call at the end of the first day, he complained to me saying he was having real problems troubleshooting the car as some of the codes had been erased. After 2 days of having the car, again no phone call to me. I called and he stated the car was not getting any spark. He stated that he could not fix the car because he doesnt have the required equipment. After talking with him he says that I owe him $100 for the work. In 2 days of having the car he found no spark and the car left on a tow truck. Then he charges me $100. Shady business to me. Will never go back. Also my wife had to be there while the car was being towed. The owner never came out to talk to her or to ask if she needed anything.

Knowledge and friendly. Many Parts on hand for new and old Volvos. Many years of experience from classics to modern Swedish tanks. Highly recommended.

Chris is always in a phenomenal and helpful mechanic. He tells it to you straight.
