False advertisement!!! Prices are incorrectly calculated. Big sign said 45% off dishwashers and I noticed the posted priced didnt seem right. Did the math and it was NOT 45% off. We asked about it and the girl said its up to 45%; however, nowhere it said up to. We asked her to show us where is said up to she huffed and said oh my God. We couldnt find a single one that was 45% off, the lies are bad the womans attitude was worseCheck the math if you are considering buying anything.
Awesome place for new appliances...a little scratch or dent here and there but when I am literally saving over a 1000$ I can hide those with all the magnets and art work my kids have blessed me with
Good selection and found some items I may have wanted to buy however getting a worker to answer my questions and just talk to me was like pulling teeth. They were busy talking to each other.

Called on Wednesday about a fridge. Informed the associate that we could pick it up on Friday. When asked if we should go ahead and pay for it over the phone he said that it was not necessary and that he would put our number with a sold sticker on it.You can tell where this is going right? We drive down a of (roughly 1.5 hour drive) course its been sold via online order. When asked about what happened the best explanation we get is that the online order took prescedence over ours ( although the associates we talked to didnt seem to understand/care themselves when further pressed about it). Were we informed of the possibility of it selling? Nah. Remember that we offered to pay for it before we drove there.Great business. Solid customer service.
Best prices for Appliances. Got a nice Washer, Dryer, and Fridge for under $2K. That includes same day delivery and installation!! These guys are awesome.
Easy to apply online. Employees in the store we reluctant to help and I had to esign documents twice before I was done. Cost of credit is high, but at least approval was easy. Definitely suggest applying for credit before going to the store and buy online if you can. Website says same day delivery, but went into the store @ 10:30 am and was told it would be the next day.
The man I talked to on the phone was rude and acted like it bothered him he had to answer the phone. They didnt carry what I was looking for

The American Freight portion are Cons. They tell you one price and charge another. The $1399 set turned into $1999. That didnt include taxes. Stay away from the financing!

He then scheduled delivery 2 days later, with very efficent delivery men. Leo was very helpful in showing me how to operate the washer. We went here at 7pm to purchase a washer and dryer set, and when we got to the door the associate said Im sorry I just closed the store. When we mentioned that the sign on the door states that they close at 8pm, he stated again that he decided to close early. I do not recommend this place at all, the customer service is horrible!!!
When we walked in this place we intended to purchase a stove and a microwave that was sit above a stove. The purchase would have been well in the $1,000 range. Not one person would help us. And when we finally did get help it turns out we were not told the truth we made a purchase they were told it would be shipped on a certain date when we called on the date if we were told it would be shipped they told us it would be six to eight weeks. thats a ridiculous amount of time for something we could have purchased anywhere in the city so no I have nothing nice to say about this place or its customer service.
Nice place to go for appliances. They have a very good selection. Prices are good but most are not much lower than retail. You can find a bargain in there though.
Great place to buy low cost appliances, close-outs, discontinued or scratch & dent. Ive shopped here often and recommended to friends as well. Staff have always been cordial and easy to deal with.
Charge you 120 service fee for nothing RIP off only go if you have cash never let them talk you in to financing anything you buy from them. Before you drive all the way to the store make sure you call them to find out if they are going to charge you a service fee cause I called got approved for financing and drove all the way up to Knoxville and get there then they tell you if you want a payment o. Biweekly its 60 dollars or monthly is 120 dollars I asked whats this charge for they said service fee for what I said I had loan approval done myself over internet they done nothing just a RIP off only go up there an pay cash so you dont pay a service fee for no service

I had to pick up an item that I had purchased online and that was my first time there. I felt bad because here was this great big store and only a handful of employees. They had a lot of items on sale(mostly appliances), but not everything you can get from Sears was in the store. They had really good sale prices on a lot of the items, but I found that you can get better deals by purchasing it online and picking it up in the store. I bought a torx/hex socket set online for 75% off and in the store they had the same one at 40% off. I will definitely keep them in mind when making any more purchases.
Promised delivery Thursday, no call no delivery. Store phone not working, had to drive back to store, Cheryl gave me her cell, promised delivery again on Saturday. Cheryl called Friday at 5pm, said can’t deliver refrigerator. I canceled order, Cheryl was to process refund and if any issues call me. No refund, no call, I called Cheryl, she never returned calls.I had to drive to the store once again, a 45 min trip to Knoxville to get my refund. Neither the Manger nor Cheryl could give me a reason why delivery couldn’t be made. During the conversation Cheryl did reveal they had no deliveries the previous week. So why was I promised delivery not once but twice, they could not answer that either. I’f it’s that difficult to get delivery imagine how hard it must be to get service if needed?? FYI- according to my conversations with Sears Customer Service and Sears Corporate Holdings they have nothing to do with Sears Outlet Stores. Buyer Beware

The prices are great but I hate salesmen that lie. He wanted to sell me the protection plan. I am a maintenance technician for a living. I troubleshoot industrial machines down to circuit board component level. Repairing a dishwasher is easy, but he continues to tell me I cant get parts for dishwashers so I still need the plan. Finally he understands Im not buying the plan. While ringing me up he insisted that I need the install kit for 20$ because it has a brass elbow that older washers didnt use, which is true, but he said you cant get that part anywhere. Well I went to home depot and got it for 5$.
The in store sales staff, with the exception of one very rude older lady, was good. Delivery service is HORRIBLE! Not worth the hassle. Was given the run around about delivery time and had ZERO communication with delivery people even though we were promised we would hear rom them. Ultimately had to cancel our order and get a refund. Found better, brand new in box items at Home Depot with FREE delivery for $100 cheaper. We do not recommend!

I made my first visit to the Sears Outlet Store in Knoxville, Tn. today. Myexperience was a pleasant one with the employee that serviced me beingvery courteous and helpful with my purchase. I specifically came in tobuy a small freezer for a friend of mine. They didnt have the specific one I was looking for, but I will still able to make a small purchase anyway. Who is the Store Manager? Not the assistant but who is in charge of this location? Unable to get a clear answer from the staff. Each time you call a different person claims to be the manager. I would like to resolve my situation with the manager and not air issues out here.

The one star is for the follow up/delivery. Our in-store experience was fine. We were told our refrigerator would be delivered today between 4:30 and 6:30. It is now 9:46 and still no delivery. We called at 7:00 and were told they were 40-45 minutes behind schedule. We tried calling again about 8:15...no answer at all! We rearranged and cancelled plans for this delivery and we have nothing. We may just cancel the order. Very poor customer service for delivery commitments. This will be our last purchase from here.
This was by far the worst online purchase experience I’ve ever had. . .I ordered a queen box spring on 3/9/18. I was told I’d expect delivery by 3/16/18. When I didn’t receive a phone call, I decided to call to check on the status of delivery. Come to find out, delivery was not scheduled with the transport company. After back and forth for another 2 weeks, I still didn’t receive it until 3/30/18! And although I’d received an automated phone call informing me that my delivery was scheduled for the following day, the day of delivery I received a call informing me that my merchandise wasn’t in the warehouse! After additional back and forth, my purchase was located but upon delivery, I had to actually assist the guy in delivering my own merchandise because he delivered the product alone!Needless to say, I WILL NEVER make a purchase from Sears or Sears Outlet again! Completely unprofessional.
Not part of the going out of business issues with Sears Holdings. You can still get good deals there.

Good deals but DO NOT use the delivery service we bought 2 things a fridge and couch fridge was delivered following weekend but they did not tell us our couch was also on truck they went back to store with it and told store employees that my husband refused couch because he didnt know I bought it funny thing is the damn thing is in my husbands name and he was one that bought it not me again DO NOT USE DELIVERY SERVICE

I called about a washer that was online.They described cosmetic damage small on side. I got to the store and the washer that I had bern working with sales staff looked like it fell of a truck the back was smashed up and it was falling apart. They tried to pull a bait and switch or sale something more expensive. They said they used to have the washer that we had worked a deal on, but they sold it weeks before I spoke to salesman day before and right before I left for store. When I got to the store I couldnt get anyone to wait on me, they were to busy sitting on the couches talking and screwing off. I dont know who is running that store, they should start over with their employees or the management. I will never go in that store again and DO Not TRUST company that lies to get you into the store .
Id never purchased from Sears Outlet before but was disappointed when I discovered post-purchase that they didnt ship items to the customer. I called Sears customer service and they said that they could only cancel the order for me. Well, they didnt cancel it correctly as Tim H. in Knoxville called days later to inquire why he had an open order waiting for payment. When I explained what had happened Tim looked into it for me, took my CC info, and had the discounted item shipped to me. Awesome. I couldnt be more impressed by Tim H., and Sears Outlet. Thank you Tim!

Bought a chest freezer there yesterday. Salesman said it was new in box. I saw the box had been cut open so I demanded to inspect it (I used to be a Sears Service Tech!) and discovered the unit was USED and DAMAGED. There was SMOKE residue on the grate covering the compressor compartment and a burned smell. There were marks on the power cord plug prongs showing it had been plugged in.Then to top the FRAUD off, the Sales man falsified the return form (reason for return) by ONLY writing on it returned as it was used (I wrote the unit is damaged in on the form before signing for the refund)He deliberately DID NOT write on it damaged so they could try to SELL it again. Sears has been known for committing mass Consumer Fraud before, and busted hard for it. (they were caught cleaning up and reselling old car batteries and charging Service customers for repair parts that werent needed). This was a Kenmore chest freezer (Sears model is being hidden) the receipt indicates Item Unique ID # M00XYYFP Its white, about a 14 cu. ft. counter depth chest freezer with control on front left and drain in the front/bottom center.BEWARE, they will try to sell it again. And PS, this is NOT a Sears store, its a Sears hometown store and worse, this outlet store is where their dead end merchanidise goes...Complaint was just filed with the TN Attorney Generals Office.Ps again THIS IS NOT A SEARS STORE. BEWARE-FALSE ADVERTISING. This is a Sears HOMETOWN store- BIG difference.
