We just recently learned of this place. Very satisfied with the Whirlpool washer that we got last month. It works like a charm and it was a good priced appliance. We will shop there again.

I am so pleased with the washer/dryer set I bought. Joe hauled away the old set and installed this set. He was punctual, courteous, and very patient. I will buy from Hunley-Turner again.

They told me theyd been in business for over 12 years. I never communicated with anyone that had ownership just a sales lady. I am in the market for a stove currently. I am one that will shop everywhere to get the best price for the best product. Theres one thing that I cannot stand is whenever a salesperson will literally stand behind you, whether its 2 ft 10 ft or 20 ft. All the while, she never took her eyes off of me and everything that I looked at or touched she would say something about that product immediately before I could even open a door. First thing she said when I walked in was if you need any help to let her know. Well, apparently that wouldve never been an issue thats for sure. She never let me out of her sight. Obviously, it wasnt keeping and I on me. Assuming nothing would get stolen or anything like that. Its kind of hard to carry out a stove, washer dryer, or let alone a refrigerator on your back. Plus, if someone is going to profile, I wouldnt believe that I would fit that description or look, if there is a such thing. I know some people would say she was trying to provide wonderful and great customer service. No, Im afraid not. You couldve cut the air with a butter knife. The pressure from tension and nervous energy was so immense coming from me. Was a really bad experience. For my last point, I have no idea how theyve been in business this long. Their prices were absolutely ridiculous. They had a Whirlpool refrigerator, I the exact same model. They wanted $799.00 before taxes. You can buy a brand new in the box and probably with free delivery and not including that if youre a veteran or a senior citizen you can get a 10% discount from either Lowes or Home Depot. You could technically get the refrigerator for a considerable amount less than what they were selling the same one for. I even asked if I did military discounts and she told me no. So, I checked about three or four more items after I the refrigerator and they were a little less than a brand new model, but nothing close to making it worth buying a used appliance and in some cases a well worn appliance. My advice is to stay away from this place. You can definitely save more money at other stores that sell used appliances. Anyone would be better off just buying a brand new appliance then to step foot in this place.

Hunley Turner sold my landlord a refurbished refrigerator. It didnt work. Hunley Turner replaced the refrigerator with -- you guessed it -- another refrigerator that didnt work.The supposed owner was insanely rude to my roommate on the phone, insisting he was doing us a favor by sending out the second refrigerator asap -- a week later, more than two weeks after the first refrigerator was purchased.Weve warned our landlord not to do business with them further. Now Im warning you.Edit to add -- the third refrigerator, bought from another store, works fine. Skip HT.Edit after response from HT -- we never bothered opening the mini fridge because it was provided three days before receiving a *working* refrigerator from another business. We were told to let the mini fridge sit 48 hours to allow things to settle. By the time we got a *working* refrigerator, we had already lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. Neither products provided by HT worked, smelled terrible and had cleaning wipes left inside. The mini fridge was not bought at HT. If our landlord has done business with HT since, it wasnt for products weve requested.Also why would I bother to leave a poor review six+ months after the incident if both refrigerators worked and all I wanted was a brand new fridge, which you assumed happened vs considering the possibility that maybe we received a refurbished refrigerator that actually worked from someone else? I dont know you and had nothing against you before this despicable display of poor products (fridges that couldnt turn a cup of water to ice on the highest cold setting in over 48hrs and fridge temps in the mid 60s to high 50s -- and let me assure you both these fridges sat for over a week a piece plugged in with a thermometer sitting on the top fridge shelf and a small cup of water in the freezer. In fact, I removed the cup as the last guys came to pick up the bum fridge and it wasnt even cold) and terrible customer service.🤡

I cant say enough good things about how helpful they were!Once my hubby took the dishwasher apart, we realized we needed a different part than originally anticipated. Had to buy a new stove. Bad time to have to do it but no stove meant no turkey or ham. We bought a used one a couple months back at a used appliance store in Knoxville.never buy from Hunley Turner. Appliance in Knoxville It came with a 90 day warranty which they said we didn’t know what we were talking about that there was nothing wrong with the stove. This place was recommended to me by an appliance repair shop that told me my washer was pretty much done for. I called this place today and thanks to a cancellation they were able to deliver a washer. Within a couple hours someone showed up to install my new washer and even take my old one off of my hands. I put on some music to calm my dogs down and he was finished before the song was over! Without the cancellation the installation would have been this week but it would have been worth the wait. I never thought buying a new washer could be easier than going to the store!!

After three or more failed attempts to have my dishwasher working by several repair people. I finally contacted Hunley Turner Service. They suggested, bringing the appliance to their shop for a diagnostic.Next day I received a pleasant call. The dishwasher had no problems! the reinstallation was not done properly.I want to thank them and highly recommend this company.

Bought a washer and dryer set for $600. The washer is fine and does it’s job, the dryer on the other hand is absolute junk. I have had to bring it back 5 times, 5 DANG TIMES! The last time I took it back was 2 days ago. Guess what? Broke again last night. So I called an actual appliance man and had him look at it. Showed me a couple different parts that were bad that kept cause the same fuse to blow. When I kept bringing it back they kept saying that “ we are the professionals and we know what we are talking bout.” Will never purchase anything from this rude, poor customer service company ever again. I will make dang sure anyone that I know won’t either. JUNK!

After their excellent help with advising me on what to do with my previous dryer, I decided to go with them on buying a set. The dryer was starting to get hot and not dry properly and I wasnt sure what was going on. They came in, kindly replaced a part and explained what the problem was right after the Easter Holiday. Bought a $750 Kenmore Refrigerator 3 weeks ago. The ice maker doesn’t work properly and turns the ice into one big block of ice. We called to see if there was a fix for it. He was rude and short on the phone. We were told basically that there was nothing he could do. We do not recommend them for any appliances!

Do not buy anything from these people. I paid good money for a refrigerator and headed home. They had not strapped it down good and it flew off the truck on I-75. I am so happy that no one was killed. I told them several times that I felt like it needed to be strapped down with more than one strap. They refused to take responsibility. I will never buy anything from them again.

My husband bought a used washer and dryer for me from Hunley Turner a while ago maybe 3 years - It has worked like new! I have never had a problem with it. They delivered it and set it up for a small fee. I am so thankful that we saved over a thousand dollars by shopping used/like new from Hunley Turner instead of buying new! We also have our Frigidaire fridge from them and its working like a charm!

Having rental properties with older appliances means we probably need repairs more than the average person. We had tried various appliance repair services in Knoxville before we found Hunley Turner. They are consistently reliable, professional, knowledgeable and fair. We are so glad to have found a company we can trust. I simply called them about a part i was given that was already bad. As soon as i asked them what i could do the dude automatically had an attitude and was wanting to argue with me about what my fiancé was told vs me. She called the other day and they said i could bring it in and get a new one, then i got caught up with school and i called them today 1/22/20 and as soon as i told him i got home and the prt was already bad he automatically got an attitude and was being rude for absolutely no reason.(In reply)The package is fully intact, i bought the part, went home went to put it in and nothing. The fuse was already blown when i bought the package. If it had not been the fuse would have easily fixed the problem as the one i bought online for half the price worked as it should. I was also charged $17 for a $10 part.. i also was going off of what i was told so there for me getting mad because they lied to me from the get go should be expected.. the package has absolutely no tears or anything. I only called because she called monday and it is wednesday now, they close at 5 and i have a job and school as well so i didnt have time to take the part back yet. So no i wasnt calling to confirm stop lying to customers and then blaming them, and also stop overpricing your parts.. it looks like you have plenty of bad reviews, and if i need to i will have no problem reporting this to the better business bureau. First time customer - my very old washing machine failed and I called after finding Hunley Turner via a quick Google search. Glad I did. Service was excellent - fast, efficient, timely - excellent communication and follow-through. They did exactly as they said they would, and my old machine is running like a top. Repairman was knowledgeable, professional, and offered alternatives. I recommend Hunley Turner and will use them again.

BUYER BEWARE$300 washer and it lasted 2 weeks before the main drive shaft broke.Took it back for warranty repair and 2 months later it broke again would not fix under warranty and wanted to charge me to fix their junk washer they sold.Save your hard earned money and DO NOT buy from them.Mike the owner is the rudest business person Ive ever met.

I ABSOLUTELY would recommend this business. They were so helpful both on the telephone and in the store. Ive never had a Better Experience in a time of need. My chest freezer died and its full. They had the same size freezer and it was $100!!!!! Rent-a-Center would have been $40/month and every where else I looked it was much more expensive. Got there and it was a scratch n dent Supposedly, but is Shiny, Clean and New.For a used appliance store to offer a 90 Day Warranty is incredible and I couldnt be happier. These sour apples who are mad because they could not get repairs 9 or 10 months later need to buy something off the Internet (which is exactly how i found Hunley Turner) and see who else would fix anything they sold at any point after the sale. Your Invoices clearly state its a 90 day, in-store warranty.

We bought our washer and dryer there about 4 months ago. The dryer stopped heating recently so I called them asking tons of questions about what it could be because I wanted to do it myself to save money. They answered them all! It ended up needing to go in after all and was the timer. Even though it was outside of warranty, they were gracious to cover the repair under the warranty!! Very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend them and already have!!

Well 1st and foremost it took a month from the intial service call to the actual repair... 2nd it smells like actual sewage in my kitchen after the washer repair 3rd the person they had come out left a mess and MY KITCHEN SMELLS LIKE SEWAGE.......................

If you are buying a used appliance (and who isnt), this is the place to go to in East Tennessee. I bought an electric range and was satisfied enough to buy a washer as well. The washer had some problems, but the service department was amazingly efficient and friendly and now everything is hunky dory.Very professional really.

The washer I got broke 30 days after I got it. They do have a warranty, but you still have to pay almost $80 for a service fee. When I tried to discuss the service fee for a product that only worked one month the owner told me it was my fault the washer broke because I overfilled it (I did not) and that I should be grateful they offer a warranty at all. He was rude and demeaning. I paid $300 for a washer that worked 30 days and then had to pay almost $80 to have it fix even with the supposed warranty

I purchased a washer and dryer in September of 2016. Someone came out to install the units shortly after, but the washing machine hoses and the steam hose were hooked up backwards. This resulted in months of using very hot water when I thought I was using cold. By November of 2016, there were problems with the washer, when it started to display an error code that prevented the unit from going through a full cycle before eventually stopping completely. Since it was still under warranty (from them, not Whirlpool, as the unit is 4 years old), a service tech came out to fix it for a $70 service charge. He says, per paperwork that I still have, that a pulley is loose. Currently, in April of 2017, the same issue, per the error code stated on service paperwork, needs to be repaired (bearings went out), yet the product is no longer covered by them. Basically, their tech did nothing while the problem was under Hunley Turners warranty so they could charge full price when the bearings eventually went out. I was told I would still need to pay $70 for the service fee (this does not go towards the cost of repair because their tech works on commission), plus parts and hourly labor costs. So, heres an idea: maybe dont pay your tech on commision and if youre advertising that you sell appliances that are thoroughly inspected, tested and repaired by one of our factory-trained technicians, replacing any old or worn parts...then deliver on that promise. They were made aware they have lost my business and were essentially unconcerned. You will likely not save money shopping with them, so please go elsewhere. I dont like to write bad reviews, and I hate complaining. This type of treatment though, particularly targeted at people aiming to save money on appliances, is unconscionable.

I really appreciate it.After One month my tenant start living this house and used washing machine. They said it will not drain. This company policy for warranty is 90 days. (It said on receipt) So I called and ask them to come and take a look at it.BUT,,,,, This shop told me to bring washer back to their place. I could not believe it. Warranty clearly said 90 days. They delivered it. But if There is a problem, I need to take it back physically to fix it???I will call repair service from other company. Hope delivery crew test when they deliver.If you go to this shop, Make sure you test everything works before delivery guy leave.

When I called to have my refrigerator looked at, I was a little worried because they cover Knox County and I live a few minutes outside the county line.... After talking to them about my situation they agreed to come anyway and they worked around my busy schedule.... The gentleman that came to my house was very nice and very respectful! He was able to diagnose and repair the problem, along with another problem I ask about!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

Bought a washer dryer set $450 washer never worked right..under warranty they repaired it twice which took 2 weeks each time still wasnt right and was told we had to drop off and pick back up ???. of course after warranty it stopped working completely .. and employees are rude.

If I could rate this with no stars thats exactly what I would do. One of the absolute worst companies ever to deal with. We called them about our dryer since that is where we bought the set from less than a year ago. Six months later the washing machine needed to be repaired and of course there was no warranty from them so we paid couple hundreds to fix it,a month later the dryer went bad. From the beginning we were lied to about the cost of the repair, the technician told us what the problem was and what the repair cost for the part and labor would be. Two weeks have past the part arrived and the technician informed us that he ordered the wrong part and the repair cost will more than double for over $400! He recommended us to purchase a new dryer, which we did elsewhere. Out of nowhere we received a bill. We called wanting an explanation for the bill. They couldnt really give us one. After several phone calls to try to find a resolution we were hung up on by the manager and owner several times. When we called to try to explain to them that we never received a service they threatened us, screamed and called us names. There was no way they were ever going to try to work this out with us at all. After speaking with them the last time they automatically sent the bill to collections. Their customer service is horrible. We dont wish this kind of treatment towards anybody. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Wow what a place! I bought a 2600.00 dollar Electrolux stainless steel refrigerator for 750.00 what a deal. The owner Mike personally came out and waited on me. Highly recommend this place if you quality appliances.

Its decent for used appliances, they say they go through the machines and everything works, not true. My dryer the timer was faulty and the buzzer didnt work. The warranty its useless, you have to take the appliance back to them, I cant I had to pay $80 to get it delivered and installed, Im in a wheelchair and cant do it myself.

BUYER BEWARE! I have never been treated as poorly by a company in my life. We purchased a stove on 7/2 and as soon as we got it home it had a hot surface light on when the cooktop was not being used. I called immediately to tell them of the problem and was told we would have to bring the oven back to them to be fixed. I requested a refund because we had just purchased it and it was not in working order and they refused. I was told as long as the cooktop worked the light would eventually burn out (It did not) or I could bring it back to be fixed but a refund was not an option. 3 weeks later after only using the stove a couple of times because we were on vacation we were baking dinner and the stove would not shut off. It kept getting hotter and hotter to the point it was about to catch on fire, my husband had to pull out a VERY hot stove to unplug it. We sent an email with not response, several days later we called and again said at this point we felt this was not a safe item and wanted a refund. We were told Mike would have to call us only he could authorize. He never called so I called again and he refused. He said to bring it in for repair. He became so rude he hung up on me once, I called back and he kept talking over me and would not even let me speak. He raised his voice and was the most rude business person I have ever dealt with. When I informed him I would file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General as well as use social media to let everyone know how I was treated he responded he didnt care. Buyer BEWARE, dont shop here. He charged us $275 for a used stove and I found one NEW for $299. BAD BUSINESS!!!! Shame on you Hunley Turner.

If I could rate it no stars - I would. Please stay away from this company. They put my washer and dryer in wrong way and charged me to come out and move them around. Also, the washer makes noise and after 5 minutes of being here told me I should of bought a cabrio. One worker used my bathroom without asking. Poor service! I bought a thermo fuse here for my dryer and before I installed it I checked it to make sure it was good but turned out it wasnt !! So thinking they would Warrenty the part took it back !! Boy was I wrong they told me that after a part is opened you cant take it back! HELLO YOU SOLD ME A BAD PART !! Whats sad is I have bought 3 or 4 sets of washer and dryers there and stoves!! You would think that they would be smart enough to know replacing a $30 part they sold that was bad would be a no brainer!! Bought a part from them. They do not say nor is there any signs saying once box is open they will not accept returns. We opened the box the part was not installed and they still would not take the part back only because the box was open. The employees were rude as heck when i tried to return it. I will not use this company again and i will urge others not to use this company again
