Dr. Michaud was extremely thorough, professional, friendly, and she explained everything she was doing and why which was pretty cool. Josh who did my frames was amazing as well. Very friendly, honest, and helpful. I unfortunately have expensive taste. 😂

This staff is phenomenal. I made an appointment and with me still in office and time permitting they asked me some background questions and I was all set for the actual exam which I scheduled for the following week. When that day and time arrived. They greeted me, and at my time they called my name and off I went. On time and on schedule.

From scheduling to checkout the staff at Kittery Optometric Associates made it a positive experience. Dr. Diaz did a thorough exam and they provided a prescription for me at checkout to either get my glasses on site or somewhere else if I preferred.I don’t know why I waited so long to get my eyesight checked out!

Hi, I gave 5 stars because overall my experience was outstanding! *However, I do need to mention that my exact star rating is 4.8. Where did they lose .2 stars? Well Im happy to tell you if your interested.......First the good:) 4.8 stars goes to the super helpful, friendly & top notch front desk customer service staff. Next was the amazing admitting person who was extremely friendly and personable. Then on to wonderful Dr Michaud, who was super friendly, confident, empathetic, skilled, focused, knowledgeable, respectful & most of all patient with my many questions! Ok now the not so good:( At the end of my visit I received a printout of my prescription. I was a little confused with something, so they had one of the dispensing opticians help me(people who help pick out your frames, etc). Well this person was rude, condescending, awkward and ultimately no help! Thanks to anyone who reads this :))

Awesome eye doctors. Full-service eye care from eye exams to glasses. I am always able to get an appointment immediately when I have an issue. Everyone is always super friendly. Even though its obvious they have a lot of clients, I never have to wait long for anything.

11 days ago I had a horrible experience with fireworks. I suffered major contusions, and swelling around my eyes,, gun powder in my eyes, thermal burns on my face, etc...but I could still see! Painfully but I could see. The following morning after speaking with Dr. Diaz I found out that Dr. Healy was in the building seeing patients. I was seen as immediately as I could get there. Dr Healy was very caring, patient, personable, sympathetic, and eager to truly help me feel better. She went above and beyond and I will never forget that. For the remainder of my care I got to meet Dr. Z. Again, caring, patient, personable, sympathetic, and eager to truly help me feel better (Seeing a pattern here). From the moment you walk in the door until you leave in my experience makes you feel like family. Every single employee I met had the same qualities as stated above. Thank you to everyone for helping me heal so fast and treating me like family, don’t ever change!

All staff were great but Dr Z was the best. Very friendly and made an appointment for a 4 really painless. Took the time to explain the tests and answered all my questions and concerns. The staff even mailed me my notes to be scanned on the IEP which saves me a lot of running around!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Lowe at Kittery Eye 2 weeks ago. The customer service was incredible, from check-in through check-out. A bit of a wait, as my appointment was at 3 pm, and delays from the day we’re starting to pile up. But the staff is super friendly and efficient. Dr. Diaz was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I was in and out very quickly once I got into see her.

If someone sets up a contact appointment, all aspects of getting contacts should be included like the training and fitting so that the person can order their contacts and move on. I was also told that with my insurance, all charges for contacts would be covered apart from the actual contacts. I drove almost 2 hours to get here and didn’t get one thing accomplished and was told I would need to pay $90 in addition to the price of contacts to move forward.

I have just recently been for a check-up at Kittery Eye. I have had Dr. Higgins for years! I also know that my granddaughter and great-granddaughter from Alton, NH still come to him for their eye care. He is extremely professional and has always given us great care. When I need other services, he recommends me for further care. I am completely satisfied with Kittery Eye and feel that they have always had my best interest at heart. Thank you to them.

A long-time patient of now-retired Dr. Higgins, I switched to Dr. Webb who has been wonderful and helpful in resolving an issue with my new glasses that felt like an emergency to me. In addition, the whole staff is helpful and attentive, the facility is wonderful and it is nice to be able to get your glasses in the same place (and with such a large selection). Plus, its always nice to have a 2nd opinion when buying new frames, and I love that they can take photos of them on you and you can send them to your spouse, sister, friend or whatever to get their opinion. I would strongly recommend them.

Really frustrated with this place. First time there and before I even went in I asked if they did certain procedures done there so that I didnt have to make another appointment somewhere else to get it done. Literally went in and the doctor told me everything Ive already been doing then referred me SOMEWHERE else to get my stye taken out. The lady at the front desk didnt even call them because she said they were closed even though I told her my wedding is in less then a month and i really need someone to call. I left and 2 minutes later called the place....they were open...

I have been a patient at Kittery Optometric Associates since moving to Maine from Michigan. My experience with them has been excellent. It is very helpful to be able to order your glasses at the same office that you get your exam. The complete staff is very courteous and helpful. If your current eye doctor has retired or moved away, I recommend that you make your next appointment at Kittery Optometric Associates. I have Kevin Webb, O.D. and think he is excellent. I am sure that anyone on the staff would be equally as good but we each have our preference.

I moved out of state and now dont drive. I changed all my doctors but Kittery Eye is worth the trip on a bus to a trolley to a taxi to get there. Its worth it. They are everything you could ever need in one place. I am a low vision client. My glasses were $1,000 but wore them for 3 years, so cost amounted to $20/month..well worth it! I mean to see good and have someone have state-of-the-art equipment for testing. My dry eye care is not dismissed but treated very professionally with a multi-approach.

Ive been going there a long time for annual checkups and in between sometimes when I need new lenses or I have an issue with my eyes. I work a lot at home on a computer and whenever I need advice about eye strain or maybe an infection, theyve handled it in a manner that gives me confidence about their care.

Dr. Anthony Zieja is articulate, caring and knowledgable. Everyone at the reception is helpful and understanding of scheduling and insurance billing. The technicians are great. All my visits are prompt and thorough, wether it be for an annual exam or to choose glasses/contacts. I bought a pair of glasses online and they were able to troubleshoot the lens issues I had and replace the lenses in the frames at a good price in little time. So happy with this practice, I highly recommend a visit.
